Zune's Name: Cicero Nicknames: Keeper, Fool of Hearts Type: Skyrim Cosplay Gender: Male Sexuality: Debatable at the moment Mate: Nada Children: None Friends: None Enemies: None Personality: Widely regarded as bothersome, obnoxious, strange, and mad, Cicero sports flamboyant attire and speaks with a high-pitched voice. Because he seemingly speaks to himself (when he is really speaking to the Night Mother's remains), he is considered insane. As Keeper of the Night Mother, Cicero takes his vocation very seriously, willing to wound and kill anyone who questions or ignores the Night Mother's authority, although he was not always like this; before being keeper, he was just as sane as the other Assassins as mentioned how his first two journals were written. But after being appointed keeper and completing his last contract, which involved killing a jester, he slowly became obsessed with the jester and was finally "reborn" into the Jester he is now. Cicero Voiced by: Andrew Morris The Night Mother is part of you now. You get to hear voices in your head! The rest of us should be so lucky. A psychotic jester who brings the Night Mother's coffin to the Falkreath Sanctuary. Ax Crazy: His default state of mind. Beware the Silly Ones: He can be encountered on the road with a broken wagon. If you convince a farmer suspicious of him to have him arrested, said farmer will end up dead. Chekhov's Gunman: It's possible to encounter him (and his "passenger") on the road long before you ever join the Dark Brotherhood. Cloudcuckoolander: The only Dark Brotherhood member who still cares about the Night Mother, regularly attempting to communicate with her. The Cuckoolander Was Right: Unfortunately for Cicero, he isn't the Listener. He takes it well when the true Listener is revealed, though. Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: He manages to incapacitate Arnbjorn with just his knife. Evil Redhead: It's mostly obscured by his hat, but his hair's still visible. Giggling Villain Happy Dance: Once in a while he'll do a jig on the spot. Karma Houdini: Along with Babette, he will not present in the Sanctuary if you're there to wipe out the Brotherhood. Evidently he'll never finish the trip. Knife Nut: His preferred weapon is a simple knife. Large Ham: He's an Ax Crazy jester. What do you expect? Nice Hat: It's a jester's hat, of course. Obviously Evil: When he's stranded in the middle of the road due to a damaged wheel of his carriage, a local farmer refused to help him because of Cicero's incredibly suspicious behavior. Of course, the farmer can be convinced otherwise or wind up dead. Sanity Slippage: His journals reveal that years of obsessively watching over the Night Mother without ever once being named Listener or encountering a Listener while the Dark Brotherhood collapsed all around him really took their toll on his mind. Sycophantic Servant: Towards the Night Mother. If he's alive by the end of the Dark Brotherhood questline, then he becomes this to the Dragonborn. The Fool: He even refers to himself as the Fool of Hearts. Third-Person Person: He slips in and out of this rather inconsistently. It helps he's completely mad. Villainous Harlequin: The persona is partly due to a Jester that was his last contract before becoming the Keeper, which combined with the above experience eventually came to haunt him. The only one he has shown any sort of caring nature towards is his sister. He's protected her from the evils of the world when they were young by going out and doing whatever it took to ensure their survival. He's extremely protective of his sister, to the point where if any male were to court her, they'd have to get through Mull to do so.
