Lit squinted angrily as Sabe filled an entire week's laughter quota in one go, all at the younger elf's expense. They stood there for maybe about one second before getting fed up and stomping off towards the elevator. Not gonna stand for this s**t! Nope! Nuh-uh!
"Sure, sure! Laugh all you want! It's not like I haven't slept in 22 hours!" Lit paused to roll their eyes before whipping their head around to look at Sabe and picking up where they had stopped speaking. "Also what the hell are you calling rags? This is fashion!" Lit didn't bother to wait for a response, instead choosing to continue their journey to the elevator. Having consulted the map, Lit found their goal rather quickly. A few seconds and some button punching later, they were on the ground floor and out the front door.
It took about ten minutes for Lit to find a burger place, order a delicious-looking(and overpriced) cheeseburger, and carry their war spoils back to the hotel. Under normal circumstances, they would immediately march back to their room to enjoy their greasefest sandwich but today, Lit didn't want to see another computer for the next 20 minutes. ...Maybe ten. Instead, they plopped down in one of the large, extremely plush armchairs strategically placed in the lobby.
Lit took hold of the greasy delight before them and looked at it. Beautiful. Then they took agiant bite. It's... amazing!!!!!! But so expensive!!!!! The deliciousness and price of the glorious miracle of meat, bread, cheese, and grease brought tears to the dark elf's eyes. "I never knew money could taste so good..."

Luciano smiled, his first thought was "Ah, relief at last!" as he carefully took the beverage. His second thought was of the fact that he should have gone with Cassian to the coffee place to help him carry the drinks. Luciano was feeling bad, the gentle broad-shouldered Elf pulled out his wallet, "How much was the order in all?" he asked Cas, looking at him. He couldn't hide how bad he felt for sending him off on his own.
Lucy strode out of the double doors to her restaurant with a slight urgency, and turned to lock the door behind her. Upon turning back, she was faced with the grand lobby that, at this time of night, was as quiet as she expected it to be, aside from a lone elf eating in one of the chairs as well as a couple of "Employees" around the desk a bit further off. Lucy looked toward the presence nearest herself and then away so that she might click a button on the ear piece she was wearing. "Mr. Brozen, this is Lucy, the restaurant is closed and I am going to need somebody to clean up a mess I left in the freezer, I will be headed to my post on the roof now, over" she muttered, releasing the button and reaching down to pick up her large, attache case.

Luciano was in the middle of speaking to Cas and Kate when his phone began to vibrate. He said a 'Hold that thought' to both of them and answered his phone. Lucy seemed to have needed some assistance. Luciano replied to Lucy, "Alright. Uhhhh, I'll send some people over now- I'll oversee it. Thank you for letting me know." At that moment Luciano pulled out his 'other phone', he hit the number 2 and it immediately dialed. Luciano said to the man that picked up, "Black and Green." The voice on the other end said 'Alright' then both Luciano and the man hung up. He said to both Kate and Cas, "I'll be right back." Then jogged out the door to oversee cleanup.

Lucy nodded silently to herself, and decided to sit and wait in the lobby for luciano to come by, he would probably want a debriefing of what happened with the drug dealer "Always the professional, that one" she muttered to herself. She once again looked toward the other elf sitting the lobby and decided to approach. She took a chair near the elf and quickly took in their appearance. She sat down her large attache case and spoke with a bright tone "Hello there, my name is Lucy, I don't believe we have had the pleasure" she said as she grabbed an olive drab beret from one of her pockets, brushed it off, and put it on her head.
Lit had just crammed the last bite of cheeseburger into their maw when a dark elf woman took a seat nearby and began speaking to them. She was tall, elegant, drop dead gorgeous, and extremely intimidating.DAYUM. DAYUM. Then there was Lit themself, with bags darker than the pits of hell under their sole visible eye, absolutely terrible posture, special sauce on their face, and a mouth bulging with half-chewed cheeseburger. As the woman - Lucy - donned an olive-colored beret, Lit struggled to quickly chew and swallow their gobful of cheeseburger. They managed to swallow, but immediately began coughing as a bit of beef patty had made their way into Lit's windpipe instead of their esophagus.
"HRRRRRK"
It took a moment for Lit to recover and remove special sauce from their visage with a crumpled napkin unceremoniously fished out of the paper bag that had once contained a whole, undigested burger. After those embarrassing few seconds, Lit managed to shout a hastily stammered reply. "I-I'm Lit! N-Nice to meet you!!!" God. They were such a ******** embarrassment.

Lucy smirked and said "Charmed" through a hand covering her smirk. Once her giggles had subsided a moment later, she spoke once more "Please don't choke, or else Luciano will be coming to clean you up as well" She said, shifting her position on the couch, making sure the lobby had no guests and the only one's around were members of hotel staff. She turned back to Lit "I have heard of you though, you..." she paused, thinking of her next word and pointing to the ceiling "You watch the cameras, right? There is one in my kitchen that I notice sometimes, always get paranoid about who is on the other end" she said, bringing her hand back to earth.
Lit rolled their sole visible eye as Lucy laughed away. Great. Another crushing blow to my fragile ego. Once Lucy had stopped laughing long enough to make a quip, Lit retorted with a lazy "Yeah, that's just straight up not happening." As if they would actually choke to death on beef fragments. Lit crumpled up the paper bag, and tossed it at a nearby trash can. The wad of paper bounced off the rim and landed on the ground, prompting Lit to get up and throw it away while silently cursing under their breath.
As Lit returned to their seat, Lucy began inquiring as to what Lit did, and mistakenly misattributed them to security surveillance. "Nah, surveillance ain't my thing. I'm like, the tech guy." Lit shrugged. "You know. Server and website maintenance. Stuff like that. Completely unrelated to security." Lit paused a second before continuing. "Good to know there's a camera in the kitchen though. For like, reasons. Totally not reasons related to food." Lit pulled out their phone and acted as though they were sending a text. However, they were actually adding an entry to the "Things Not To Do" list: Don't try to sneak food out of the kitchen without first disabling the security camera.

Lucy shrugged "Oh dear, I'm sorry, you must forgive me, you see, I am not so tech savvy, mate" she said taking the bluetooth headset off of her ear "Thank goodness that Luciano gave me this thing when we got passed or mobiles, if it takes more then one button press to use, it's all greek to me!" She said, laughing a bit, and putting the headset back on her ear.

Lit couldn't really care about Lucy's level of technical ineptitude, but their very loud and drawn out yawn was completely unintentional. Just extremely unfortunately timed. "Wow, that's rather unfortunate. You should really... really..." Another yawn escaped Lit before they could finish their sentence. "You should really learn how to use a phone properly and wow I'm gonna ******** drop hahaha." That said, Lit estimated that they'd need to stay awake for at least another half an hour in order to maintain their previous sleep schedule.
"What's that Luciano guy like anyway? I like, hardly know anybody so I'm super in the dark."

Luciano had finished overseeing cleanup, which took way longer than it was supposed to. Apparently there was a few new people on the cleanup crew, and it was like 'the vets' had to stop every couple minutes to coach them. Luciano walked back into the building, as he walked he was putting his utility belt back on which was armed with a radio, a flashlight, two pairs of cuffs, bear mace, a tazer, and a handgun equipped with rubber bullets but in the other pouch he had a full clip of the "normal" bullets just in case anything extreme came about. Luciano was the type who liked to be prepared for anything, this was why he had hidden weapons all over the establishment in case anything bad happened. Once Luciano's belt was back on, he went up to the front desk where his coffee was and grabbed it. He took a swig and then let out a sigh, "Alright, I think I need to get back on duty now," He looked down at his watch and then began his round on the ground floor.
Lucy paused at the question, closed her eyes, and thought hard about how she should answer. "Luciano, he's... he is an odd breed to say the least..." she said crossing her legs and arms, but leaving her eyes closed. "He is very calm, collected all the time, most would say that he is the perfect professional for this sort of... organization" Lucy said, taking another pause and opening her eyes. "And yet..." she looked at the ground “Sometimes...He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun..." she said trailing off. Lucy snapped back to reality and blushed "Oh, bollocks! you got me to wax poetic like a mad women, curse you, Lit!" She said jokingly with a slight laugh as she stood up. "Well, I am off! I like to put in a couple of hours of rooftop surveillance before bed, keeps my eyes sharp, pleasure chatting with you!" she said cheerfully as she walked toward the elevator.

Luciano was still drinking his coffee while walking by. As he walked on, he noticed a new face- Lit- and decided to approach them. "Uhh," Luciano gave them an awkward smile and gave them a slight wave with his free hand. He didn't know too much about the new person, except that they're the reason that the hotels site is nicely maintained. Luciano tries to make it a point to get to know the new employees when his schedule allows. So, after the wave Luciano said, "Hello, I can see you're new here. What's your name?" He took another drink of his coffee, patiently waiting for the new employee to answer.
Lit nodded along through Lucy's long spiel about Luciano. To be quite honest, they had stopped really paying attention after Lucy began monologuing about Luciano's nature. In any case, Lit got the important parts: Luciano was a kind of boring-sounding person. Lit waved lazily as Lucy got up to leave, then picked up their phone to check the time once more.
When Lit looked back up, there was suddenly the aforementioned Luciano. Well. Speak of the devil and he'll crash your party. Lit could have sworn that the guy had waved at them, though they were too engrossed in checking their Twitter feed to take much notice. They stared at Luciano uncertainly until Luciano asked Lit's name. "Lit's the name. 'Sup, bruh?"

Lit nodded along through Lucy's long spiel about Luciano. To be quite honest, they had stopped really paying attention after Lucy began monologuing about Luciano's nature. In any case, Lit got the important parts: Luciano was a kind of boring-sounding person. Lit waved lazily as Lucy got up to leave, then picked up their phone to check the time once more.
When Lit looked back up, there was suddenly the aforementioned Luciano. Well. Speak of the devil and he'll crash your party. Lit could have sworn that the guy had waved at them, though they were too engrossed in checking their Twitter feed to take much notice. They stared at Luciano uncertainly until Luciano asked Lit's name. "Lit's the name. 'Sup, bruh?"
Luciano smiled and nodded then replied, "Pleased to meet you, I'm Luciano Brozen." the 'sup bruh?' reminded Luciano of the speech pattern of one of his cousins. Of course Luciano responded to Lit, "Doing some paroling. My shift doesn't end for another couple hours. ." He took another drink of his coffee. The tall Elf looked down at the chair in front of Lit, then he looked over at them. He motioned at the chair and said, "Mind if I sit down here for a bit?"

No fancy hotel that doubled as the base for an underground organization was complete without guards, and a stoic brick wall like Luciano exactly fit the image. If Lucy, at 6'1", was intimidating to Lit, the 6'5" hulk before them was almost like staring a monster. It didn't exactly help that Lit had to crane their neck upward to make eye contact with Luciano. So when he asked if he could sit down, Lit was more than happy to oblige. "Yeah, yeah, sure." And to themself, Lit thought, Please do, all this upward staring is gonna wreck my neck.
Lit noticed the cup of coffee that Luciano held, and briefly wondered just how much it cost. Most of the surrounding coffee shops were much more expensive than Lit was used to, so either the wall had some serious expendable money, or there was a cheaper place Lit had yet to locate. "So like, is your job usually quiet or does s**t happen?"
