s**t, do I really have to vote? All these damn discussions poppin' in and out, and all this damn logistics s**t to consider... Like hell am I gonna know half the s**t they're talkin' about. I don't even know what 'tithe' means, the ******** one of those? Some s**t you wear 'round your neck? Hell if I know. Let them sort it out - all I gotta do is be there for 'em if they decide this s**t's a good idea.
"You know my vote," he added as he temporarily dropped attention from the butterfly. Even if they found reason to avoid cementing the Watch, Faust would offer his assistance in any situation. "All this talkin's givin' me a headache."
Finally faust turned his attention toward the crowd to offer a more public opinion. "For all y'all listenin', my vote's yea." Given the health of the discussion, he doubted much - if any - of the gathered senshi paid him much heed. And that was fine; when they resume their delineation of the project, Faust would find ample reason to nap on a warm lap... Provided said lap was rather obscured from view.
The last thing Faust wanted was a reputation for cuddling.

Ida's arrival on the moon for the first time was met with wonder and awe, her face lighting up at the beautiful ruins she saw around her. She'd always meant to get Tsui and Athene to take her up, but something had always seemed to come up... but this was as good of a time to make that first step as any.
Feeling the cat jump from her shoulder, the senshi offered a small smile and trailed after him, closing the distance between her arrival point and the friend she hadn't seen in far too long. She hadn't realized just how long until now... she'd been scarce for the last couple of months. When she got close, the eternal senshi bent to hug her friend, but she didn't interrupt the presentation until Thraen had wound down and the others had spoken their questions.
For her own part, Ida had little to ask. Most of the things she had thought were already being expressed by other people, so there was no sense in bringing them up again. When the vote was called for and Athene called out 'yes', Ida didn't heisitate either. She was in full agreement, so her answer was simple.
"Yes." She said firmly, her hand resting on her team mate's shoulder.
Auriga's eyes bounced from face to face as more voices joined in support. Out of habit, she began to swing her legs, bouncing it off the stone seat covered in pillows. Her eyes trailed to the kitten with an accent. He seemed sassy, a bit terse. She did her best not to let out a girlish whimper and make cooing noises. One day, she would own a cat. One day.
Quite a few people had not spoken up yet.
The young senshi peeled her eyes away from Faust and began to stare instead at those who had not spoken up. What were they waiting on? To pass the time, Auriga picked up her phone and started scanning all the nearby senshi; she wanted to have as much information as possible. It would help when she one day created the Senshibook, thus fulfilling her Facebook-like dreams.

Kepler's decision was an easy one. She might not have said much in this meeting, but she was ready for this. "Yes." It was that simple. Honestly she hadn't heard any no's yet, which warmed her heart. She giggled a little more and pet over Snowball as she waited for the others to finish voting. Looking around, she spotted a few that had seemed to show up a tad late to the meeting, but it was better late than never, that's what she always said. Never mind she was always early.
----
Eris had spoken up earlier, sad her piece and was reassured. She offered property for them and so her vote was cast as a quiet, "Of course."
All in all it seemed like the Black Watch was going to happen and she was interested in seeing where it would go or if it could even get off the ground. She pushed a gloved hand through her bangs again and looked at a red-headed senshi she didn't recognize, but one who seemed pretty confident despite getting here late. Oh well.
This is a friendly reminder to those who have not cast their votes yet. Unless you're using this rp for a req, these don't have to be elaborate. A lot of energy is pretty focused on the Meta~
There's something like 11/28 votes cast, not yet even a majority. If/Once the Majority is made, I'll post the next prompt from Thraen for Volunteers and the consensus of the seats of council.

Hvergelmir was happy to see the votes going in the BlackWatch's favor. It seemed like a good cause, and something she wanted to endorse -- but she wasn't sure she could.
For so long as the Negaverse fights in the belief that you're protecting the earth from outsiders seeking to conquer it, I will not knowingly raise arms against any Negaverse officer, except to defend my own life.
She'd never tested the bounds of her oath. If she voted to establish a coalition that would organize senshi and knight patrols, was she raising arms against the Negaverse's agents? Would she collapse dead right here at this meeting just for doing it?
Because that would be kind of a downer.
"I'm sorry," she said with what she hoped was an apologetic smile. "I have to abstain." (Courteously, she was tempted to add, but didn't.)
Auriga's mouth fell open. What did Hvergelmir not having sex have to do with whether or not she could vote? Her brow creased, but she had the good sense not to say anything.

Truth be told... he had a bit of difficulty processing everything that Thraen was really saying. That wasn't so much a rare occasion as, when it came to happenings in his powered life, he understood very little. Too little for his liking, if he were being plain honest, but he did get the gist of what the Eternal was saying. He remained quiet as others posed their questions, listening intently so that not too much went over his head. In the end he didn't follow completely, but he was still all for the idea of banding together to be a little more organized in helping each other out. When the vote came around to him he gave a subtle roll of his shoulders as he spoke.
"That's a yes for me."

Ganymede kept her silence for a while and waited to see what votes some of the others would cast, though she already knew what hers would ultimately be.
She was not entirely satisfied with Thraen's responses, owed partially to the fact that she had somewhat of a difficult time following his elaborations. Those closest in proximity to her might have heard a quietly mumbled, “Can I get the No Fear version of that, Shakespeare?” But her lack of understanding was not something she felt like advertising to the group at large. What reputation she had among those of the White Moon was not entirely positive; Ganymede had no desire to make it even less so.
Finally she threw a nonchalant hand into the air again. “Sure,” she said. She frowned soon after and rolled her eyes, lifting her hand a bit higher as she corrected herself with, “Yea.”
That others she knew had already agreed made the decision easier. In truth there was not a lot about the Watch as it had been proposed that she disagreed with. But intentions did not always become reality. Distrusting as she was, she saw ample room for the abuse of a system that hadn't even gotten underway yet.
“And one more thing,” she continued, though further talk had not been encouraged as of yet. She settled her gaze on Thraen but continued to speak so that the entire crowd might hear. “You suggested a representative from every team be selected. I volunteer myself for the Jovians.”
Quickly her eyes darted to Valhalla and Kallichore, lingering momentarily on Horatio as well.

Kallichore bowed her head, eyes closed while listening to the votes and banter around her. Yes, she agreed, wholeheartedly, that something needed to be done to organize Order. The Negaverse's numbers swelled each and every day and combating it would take teamwork, even though the unlikeliest of allies. With a smile, she was about to raise her hand and volunteer as a representative when Ganymede had volunteered herself. Kallichore caught her hand midair and looked to the Senshi of Lust with a slowly forming smile of pride.
"Yes, it would be my pleasure." came a quiet admission. She never thought she'd live to see the day that Ganymede would make her this proud.

Irene was a little bit late to the meeting, having taken some extra time to wrap up the last of the cell phone upgrades and pack up her supplies. Then, when she arrived- not in the center of things, fortunately, or she might have derailed the discussion- she had to take a moment or two to enjoy the serenity of the moon itself. She had been once before, but it had never occurred to her to come back since then.
Many things had never occurred to her. Like raising money to support people who needed it. Or decoding ancient texts on the moon. Or visiting other locations in the universe. She knew, in theory, that all these things were possible. But they had never seemed all that important before, until someone else laid out a plan to accomplish them.
More than anything else, though, she loved the sense of camaraderie that was inherent in each of the ideas. These were not plans for one small group of people, that they might succeed at the cost of their allies. Nor were they fines imposed on those who would rather not play by this set of rules. No one was forced to support this particular cause, and yet everyone was free to partake of the results. Everyone. It had been a long time since Irene had last thought of Senshi as a cohesive unit. This gave her hope that they could truly act in unison, at least some of the time.
Then came the votes. Since she had been late, she was near the opposite end of the circle, which meant that she had some time to listen to how other people felt. Not that she had any doubts how she would vote, but it was somewhat comforting not to have to be the first to speak up. Most of the votes were simple. A few had extra suggestions to make. Athene's ideas were wonderful, and she found herself glad that she had scanned him before he'd had to leave.
The one abstention that popped up surprised her. Why come all this way, only to not vote? Or was there another reason she couldn't? The volunteer to serve as a team liaison surprised her further, and made her doubt herself to boot. It was true that she had come with similar intentions, but did she have the right to assume such a position without discussing it with the rest of her team? All that they knew was that there would be such a meeting, and that she would report on it once she knew more.
No. In good conscience, she could not volunteer herself for any representative role, not without the clear support of those she would represent. But the vote to establish was a separate matter, and one she could voice her opinion on without speaking for others. When the vote came to her, she raised one hand slightly. "Yea," she answered, and left it at that.
If, as it seemed, this plan were to come to fruition, then she could worry about the rest later.

Cybele was not feeling satisfied with Thraen's answers. In fact, asking fourteen year olds to not eat seemed like a problem, not a solution to one, especially when there were people around who seemed willing and able to money and other things to people who needed them.
In fact, all of their legitimate concerns were being justified away, and it wasn't making Cybele very happy. Unlike some people, who were screaming their approval almost immediately, she had to consider which way she was going to vote. Logically, it was an easy decision, as something to help the senshi work together more efficiently was a great idea. However, it wasn't easy for Cybele to overlook unpleasant details, so she hesitated when her turn to vote came.
It was a good idea, she reminded herself a few times. Then, she stiffly said "Yea" with the tiniest of nods.

Snowball watched as everyone voted he counted off in his head and continued to listen. He seemed interested when they said they'd consider princesses toooo, so that meant Polaris could even join!
The mauvian was practically sold at that point, he'd just need his princess to see if she wanted to join in the fun. If only she was here. "I'd be interested!" Which meant yes please in snowball speak.
The raggamuffin's tail flickered as he looked over towards Niflhel expectantly.
Niflhel caught the cat's gaze and sighed, "Sure, why not? I'm in as long as I don't have to do anything stupid." He could do enough of that on his own.
Counting, recounting the number of those present agains the number of votes while keeping numbers separate from extra commentary was more of a mental exercise than it should have been, and Thraen had to close his eyes to keep a solid mental image of the glyphs and numerals.
Hvergelmir's answer was the lone detraction. It was all the more odd coming so soon after she was making heartful lobby for what the watch should be doing with its time and energy. What reasoning is driving behind all this? Was it something in my reasoning that changed it from support to detraction? That would be the most obvious answer. She is so strange a creature.
But the count was at what it needed to be - Thraen opened his eyes again, “For the spirit of hearing all voices, if you still wish to, please voice your vote. “
"This gathering has reached a majority, however, so we should set our Executors and Executrices so that they may start the work of setting the actual policies and schedules, start hearing all the many concerns to take into consideration and weigh against the available resources. My suggestion is the team-representatives be equaled by the independents plus or minus one to preserve odd numbers and avoid deadlock votes. Knights and Mauvians are also welcome to volunteer, this effort is not just one of senshi for senshi. Right now, there is one team, so there needs to be two independent volunteers. If there are two teams, there will 3 independents.
The process will be the same- you all have a chance now to speak for or against in swaying the acceptance or denial of volunteers.
Already there is one volunteer, a representative for the Jovians. If you have words for or against the nomination and acceptance of Ganymede for the Jovians voice them. As an independent, I do volunteer to serve. If there are words for or against my sitting on such a board, please voice them.
There are members of other teams here- if the teams that know they wish direct hand in the Watch, please stand forward your volunteer now. Some may not yet know and need time to discuss, as is their privilege. Are there others willing, team or independent, to stand forward and volunteer to lead this effort?"
