[[sorry it took me a while to post again but here we go]]
If Rose were in her human skin, she would be smiling at the sight of such an easy hunt, even if she was disappointed at the lack of real challenge. Being used to hunting in her wolf or owl forms, she was a silent hunter, so she did not alert her quarry to their impending doom - for none of them could escape either herself or Queen Amaya or Sir Armel, let alone all three of them.
She picked one of the weaker ones, as she would with a herd of deer, to strengthen them and keep them strong - all the better for the next hunt. She quickly ended her chosen prey by crushing his neck and breaking it in the process after a small and quick chase and little fight from it.

[Sorry, Loiiy is spending time with her boyfriend who flew up from the States to visit her in Canada. She won't be back on until August 18. And I have been working 12 hours a day seven days a week. Sorry for not messaging you.]
Armel glanced over at Miss Cameron, watching as she crushed the neck of a weak seal. It was a curious thing to see a polar bear picking out a certain seal to kill. Out on the ice, a polar bear ate what he or she could, be it berries during the summer or an abandoned carcass from some unfortunate animal. When hunting seals, it didn't matter the age, size, or health of the seal. Food was food on the cold, unforgiving ice. A thought was never given to the overall population health of the prey he and other polar bears killed. How odd,he thought before glancing at his queen to assure she had caught her own seal before he tore through the skin of his own seal. Armel dug into the seal's thick insulating fat and tore chunks from it, swallowing it down without much thought as to its taste. Food was food after all.

Amaya enjoyed the flexing and pulling of her muscles as she exerted her strength to power her large body forward in a run. Her long clawed heavy paws slammed down the closest seal to her, and her jaw quickly closed around it, killing it instantly. Once it was dead she took her time to enjoy the seal a bit more, savouring her kill, until finally it was a pile of bones that she chewed on in the sand, her white muzzle stained red with blood. Nearly all the other seals were into the water now, and she watched them flee for their lives, licking the blood from around her mouth.
She turned her head to make sure her companions each had a kill, and saw that they had all been successful. "Good hunting everyone?" She asked, inquiring about their meal.
Sorry for the delay, Himaru has gone back home now, so I'll be catching up.
[[I'm so sorry it took me so long to reply guys here's something that will hopefully move along the plot]]
Rose finished her kill, and all that was left was a pile of bones that the wolf might have enjoyed, but the polar bear did not. It was excellent hunting, and very intriguing to see how the others hunted, since she mostly did so as a wolf, and so had developed such habits. She gained even more respect for Queen Amaya when she saw the Queen glance at herself and Sir Armel to see if they had made kills. Her instincts as a hunter told her she wasn't looking to take the kill, but rather more of an alpha looking after her pack. Rose nodded in approval.
"Very good hunting, my Queen. A very good experience, thank you for inviting me." Rose made a little bow to the Queen in thanks at the end of her response.

Armel licked his jaws once he finished his meal before dragging the remains of the seal to the forest edge. He had not damaged the seal skin enough to prevent him from making something out of the skin. As he examined it, he thought he could make a decent shirt for himself. He couldn't imagine Her Majesty wearing something he made from the skin of his kill. However, the bones he collected from his kill could be carved into combs, rings, necklaces, hairpieces, etc. The seal he killed was a decent size, so its bones could be re-purposed.
The guard glanced over at Her Majesty to gauge whether he should carve her anything from the bones, or use them for his own use. Unfortunately, he glanced at his queen the moment she asked if their hunt was a success. It still made him uneasy having any bear ask him that, let alone his queen. Most of the time, bears would either compete for food, or make the hungry beg to access the food. So, as a result of his uneasiness as well as not desiring to interrupt Miss Cameron, Armel only bowed his head to her as his response. Now where's my knife?he thought as his mind already moved on to cleaning his seal skin to prep it for its new fate.
[Sorry for the slow reply. Classes started last week and my cousin's wedding was this past weekend, and I ended up working Labor Day when I shouldn't have, and I am trying to catch up.]
Amaya smiled at Rose calling her 'my Queen.' It was strange for her to be called that by someone not born to be lead by her, or that she had proved her with to when she killed the old King. "I'm happy to hear it, and that you enjoyed the experience." She replied kindly.
Then, seeing what Armel was doing, she gathered some of the larger bones from her kill in her jaws, and carried it over to him, dropping it a few seal-lengths from where he was. "Unfortunately I was a little overzealous, the pelt on mine can't be saves. But we could make something out of these, don't you think?"

Rose smiled back at Queen Amaya, although she did still notice the look in her eye of oddity. Rose supposed this was because she had called Queen Amaya "my Queen" when Rose was not a polar bear. Regardless, the Polar Bear Queen had proved her worth to Rose, and so she was willing to follow.
It was her turn to think something strange when Queen Amaya and Sir Armel started re-purposing the remains of their respective kills. As a wolf or owl, Rose usually left the remains for other scavengers and nature to do with as She pleased, as a nomadic shifter like Rose did not have much room or time to bother with such things. Being adaptable, however, she took the useful bones of her kill and separated them from what was not, as well as parts of the pelt. Using the largest piece of pelt, she carried the rest over to where the Queen and Soldier were. "Could you use these for anything?" Rose asked.
[No worries, school and work are slowing down my replies too, so sorry it took me so long]
Armel froze, for a split second, when Her Majesty picked up some bones from her kill.Oh no,he drearily thought as she walked over with the bones. He became gloomier when Miss Cameron brought over the remains of her kill as well. What am I supposed to with all these?!Of course, Armel's outer appearance remained calm and composed, as he had been raised. No trace of emotions aside from the ones Her Majesty and Miss Cameron would like to see.
Graciously bowing his head to the two she-bears, Armel humbly thanked them for their thoughtfulness."I can certainly use these; and if I could be so bold, I would be honored to make something for the both of you. I am not talented, but I can carve a decent comb or hair pieces."Armel thought of all the pieces of jewelry and tools he had carved over the years. Through diligent practice, he had become skilled at carving. However, if Her Majesty discovered his skills, she would become curious about the how and why, both of which he rather not have her prying. A hobby was a hobby, but it didn't need the scrutiny of his sovereign.
[Hopefully, once we get into the swing of things, we'll catch up again. Now here's my post! Armel is certainly overwhelmed by all these bones. lol]

Amaya smiled as Rose mimicked her and gathered the useful parts of the kill. At Armels suggestion of hairpieces and hairbrushes, her smile grew even bigger. "That was exactly what I was thinking." She was going to suggest they be made into a gift for Rose, for being such a wonderful new friend. "For myself I think a new hairpeice, in whichever style you choose. My human hair is getting quite long and unruly, but I do like the way it looks at that length for some reason, I would feel sad to cut it."
As she spoke, she began to gather the bones onto the full pelt, to be carried. "If there is extra after you carve something for Rose, me and something for yourself, a knife might be useful too." She didn't know the extent of his skills, but she was sure if he wasn't competent in making something she asked for, he would become competent as soon as he was able.
Once the bones were gathered for carrying, Amaya turned her head to the sky, looking up at the cloud, thinking. What was she to do now, to accomplish her goal?
Rose was humbled that the Polar Bear Queen would have a gift made for her, and, noticing the nanosecond-long flash of slight panic in Armel - mostly his scent, since she remained close to him after the Queen went a little ways away - Rose decided to use her knowledge to help the situation a little bit. "Thank you, Queen Amaya. Rose said, bowing slightly in the Queen's direction. "Although the greatest gift would be shared knowledge of how to reuse such things as bones." She said the last part when she turned her head ever so slightly toward Armel, to indicate she wished to learn from him. She could tell he was downplaying his abilities, but Rose would not say so in front of him, and never in front of the Queen, who was currently looking very thoughtfully at the sky.
[Awesome! smile Let's see how this goes ...]

Armel looked at his queen for a moment before glancing over Miss Cameron. It peeved him that she could read the things he flawlessly hid from Her Majesty and everyone else. He felt like his facade was crumbling with every moment he spent with her. At this rate, he was debating whether or not to take down his facade to relieve him of the mental stress. Why not? It's not like it will change anything overall,he thought as he looked down at the bones before him. Again, he debated his next course of action. Would dropping the facade make his life easier? It could possibly improve Her Majesty's relationship with her, which can only be good.
Finally, Armel spoke to Miss Cameron."It will take practice. Also, lots of cuts and bruises, so be prepared."He decided halfway through his mental ramblings that he would indulge Miss Cameron's wish, especially when it would most likely be supported by Her Majesty's whim.
Sighing, Armel looked at his queen once more before shifting back into his human form. He needed to get his knife and bag. He still needed to properly clean the seal skin, and then he needed to bag the bones in the first place. He refused to walk around anywhere with putrid bones wrapped in their skin. It was unhygienic and nauseating.
Amaya only vaguely heard the conversation going on around her, though it did cause a faint smile to play on her lips. Turning back from the sky, she looked to the both of them. "I'm going for a swim." Her voice was firm but kind, though she was making to clear she intended to go alone. She needed to think. "Stay and work. I will be back before long."
With that she turned her form back towards the water and ran. Her legs kicked up sand as she moved, until it was the spray of the water that took it's place. Once she was deep enough that her paws no longer touched the ground but stroked through the water, she swam slowly. As she swam she thought of where to go next. What to do. And she wondered of just maybe, Rose would be a permeant feature in their lives now. That at least was a happy though. The Queen would welcome her into the Kingdom, not that she wouldn't face some scrutiny from the bears, with their judgements based on her species. But what of herself? What was she to do?

Rose waited patiently for Armel and the Queen to decide what to do about her request, and especially considering she had seen, even momentarily, through Armel's usually flawless facade. He sighed as she nodded in acknoledgement of her decision, then said after a moment to be prepared for a lot of practice and many cuts and bruises. She tried to suppress a laugh at that. She was a shape-shifter who had lived on her own for a long time, part of it being hunted. She wasn't totally able to suppress her laugh, though, and it turned into a snort of derision.
"You say that like I'm a child afraid of getting hurt and wants their treat now, Sir. I am much more patient and tougher than that." She said this to remind Armel that she was closer to his level than he seemed to think.
Seeing him start to change, she knew he was going for his knife. Deciding that she should show both him and the Polar Bear Queen some more of her skills, and that Armel needed a little amusement and smiling in his life, she leaped into the air and changed into an owl mid-leap and headed for their things. She grabbed both hers and Armel's bags while he was still headed to his, and flew them back to the pile of bones, checking on the Queen as she did so. Queen Amaya seemed to be taking a moment to think, and the area was still safe of any hunters, so Rose laid the bags she carried down near the pile of bones, and shifted into a human form to better learn to carve, and quickly put cloths on. The temperature did not bother her, nor was it modesty, but rather a desire to keep some of her scars and tattoos unseen, as they would bring up uncomfortable questions.
[sorry for the long post, I wanted to make this one thorough ]
When Queen Amaya spoke, Armel paused mid-step before continuing to his knife. However, the shifting of sand behind him after Miss Cameron spoke about being tough once again gave him reason to pause. He turned around to look at Miss Cameron, or where she had been, but already the owl who he could only assume was her flew above his head. Armel seated himself in the sand and watched as owl-Miss Cameron grabbed more than fifteen pounds of weight back over to their pile of bones. He patiently waited until Miss Cameron returned to her original form and dressed before speaking, without his facade."Now you're simply showing off, Miss Cameron."As he stood up, he brushed off his jeans."Also, what I meant a moment ago was intended to dissuade you from learning. I have little patience for teaching anyone if they aren't committed to learning."
Armel walked over to his bag and pulled out the garbage bags he had tucked away in one of the pockets. He placed in the bones in one bag and then laid out the pelts for him to properly skin. He hoped this would keep them from becoming rancid until his queen allowed them to return to the hotel suite."Anyways, we won't be practicing on the bones until I boil them. For now, locate a piece of driftwood and you can practice on it,"he said, punctuating his words with another sigh. This was troublesome. With any luck, Miss Cameron would not waste his time and be studious in her endeavors.
