After a few more moments outside and not getting any 'response' or sign of Morty, he sighed and went back inside the house. His tail was slightly tucked between his legs as he entered the kitchen. Seeing Morgy again and her disposition, he frowned more. "I'm guessing you had no luck in finding her either?"

She let her hands fall down to her sides and she leaned her head back, letting a few tears fall down the sides of her face, "She's gone...and it's because of me..." she said softly, sniffling.

At her words, he frowned and instantly went to her. At her side, he wrapped his arms around her and squeezed her tight, nuzzling the top of her head, shushing her lightly. "Don't tell yourself that. It's not your fault. She's probably being a little brat again, and having another tantrum. She'll be back soon enough as always." He told her, trying to comfort her and, what she may not know, trying to comfort himself as wellMoochiLove Sorry for the double quote, wanted to fix the broken code.

She instantly wrapped her arms around her mate, pressing her face against his chest as she fought with herself not to cry, "But I told her that I wouldn't stop her....I was so harsh...I was just so upset with what she did." she whispered, sniffling again, her wings and tails now fully drooping. "I know she can be a brat, but I just want to her to make better choices and take better care of herself."

He held her close as she wrapped her arms around him, rubbing her back softly. He continued to comfort her softly. "But that's not your fault that she took it so harshly and decided to leave. Just watch, though it will be problematic for all of us, she's going to learn our lessons the hard way and will come back with her tail between her legs."

As much as she didn't want to believe him, she knew Gojyo was right. "I just wish she could learn these things in a safer way. I mean...do we go after her? Try to find her?" she asked, looking up at him, not sure what to do now.

Gojyo sighed, also wishing that their daughter would just learn when she was first told, but she got her mother's stubbornness. Of course, he wasn't stupid enough to say that. "Yeah... I do too Babe, but it is what it is." When she mentioned looking for her, he looked to the door. "I wouldn't know where to start looking, well, besides the bars but... after that last encounter, I don't know if I want to risk it again, not any time soon at least. I guess we can call the police and file a missing audio report."

She sighed and shook her head, "She has barely been gone an hour, the police will just tell us to wait a day before trying to really report, and she is an adult." She pulled away and rubbed at her arms, "I'll tell the rest of the family and we can try to look around, but....maybe it's for the best this time around? She went pretty far last night and you're right...she has to start learning her lessons the hard way..." she said softly.

"Just because she's an adult doesn't mean they can't put out a search for her. True they probably won't put as much attention into it as they would a pup, but it's better than nothing." He said with a sigh, "but I'll wait until tomorrow, I guess and we can go out and look until then." He added, tail giving a small flick. When she mentioned it being for the best this time, he had to give her a skeptical look at first, but soon, after thinking about it more, he nodded. "Yeah... perhaps you're right."

She sighed again, holding back her tears and going to the phone to call any family she could, but she had a feeling it would be futile. Morty was stubborn and seemed to be looking for trouble, but if she didn't want to be found, she probably wouldn't be. But that didn't mean Morgy would give out hope she would come back home.

Gojyo stroked her cheek lightly before she grabbed the phone and started calling people. He looked to the food that was leftover, but frowned, not really that hungry. With a sigh, he left the kitchen and went to the living room to watch something. He knew... or hoped... that Morty will come back and he won't find her bloody and broken in a hospital bed or anything like that. But for now, all he could do was wait and see.
