 Tierra sat boredly on her superiors shoulders, focusing less on the cocky human who turned out not to be a quincy with his ability to use Cero. Confusing and a mystery, but less so important then what was behind them. Her Sand sense traveled down the male below her acceptably well through his goo, stabilizing as it hit the ground and spread out around them. There was the cocky, blonde haired man. The edge of the crater. The buildings behind them where a shinigami sat and one, blank spot of reitsu absence. Guessing it was another Shinigami using some skill to hide him or her-self from their sight and senses. Beyond that was the trees, swaying slightly from the wind caused by the Novenas released state. Inside them was yet another possible opponent. Less interesting then the shinigami watching them but more so than the human in front of them. Middle ground. Low importance currently. She glanced around with suddenly bleak eyes, analyzing her area and the chances at the moment. One opponent, easily taken care of. Three possible problems, two objectives, both reportedly easily broken. As it was the chances of them winning the fight were about as high as the chances of them failing to retrieve the Anchors as they were destroyed, incinerated, obliterated, or were otherwise damaged in the fight. As it was, she was given the order to attack, just as the massive amount of reitsu burst from the man, blasting the area around him harshly. "Overly dramatic..." She complained lightly, tilting backwards and sliding off his shoulders as she fell off towards the earth. She slid her sword from her sheath, the long blade gleaming as she pressed it against her palm. Her left eye lit up gold suddenly as well. "Sting, Alacrán." She muttered, stabbing herself in the hand with the blade, about the same time she released the cero from her eye at the hidden woman. The details of her changing are left in a mystery to those around as she hit the ground, dissappearing into it with her Burrow. Next up was the second Shinigami, a sudden spike of power from him heralded a release as he sought to intercept the Espada. Tierra was having none of that. She shot around through the ground, stopping underhim as she thrusted her massive claws up, the pincers bursting through the soil at his feet and aiming to snap down on the mans legs.
Should they find their mark, Tierra would drag the man out of Axolotls way, straight through the earth to a cleared, mostly considering the human corpses and spirits littering the place, area behind him to pop out of the earth and hurl him towards his partner.

 He was able to pick up on a new presence before long, a flair of reiatsu acting up on his right the arrancar was able to pause his assault on the strange hollow-like man. He took a step back as a sword came crashing down attempting to slice through his defense, however the power currently coming from the male shinigami wouldn't be enough and something that might have surprised the captain is that the arrancar took the hit, and what was more surprising was that he was possibly the first opponent to successfully block one of his attacks. The spear-like extensions on his arms barely scratched by the attack, these shinigami gravely underestimated the shield of the espada, although he couldn't blame them as they'd probably never faced anything like him before. He was the weakest of the espada in power thus his ranking as ninth, however ranked on defense he could easily be considered as passing the primera in that aspect. All his focus going into hierro and regeneration he had possibly the most powerful hierro of the espada, that alongside his near impenetrable gelatin armor he wasn't going down so easily. "Sorry Tierra, I didn't mean to act flashy, that's not exactly my strong point.. I just do things" he spoke casually despite being neck to neck with a shinigami, he had a lot of nerve but for good reason, he felt indestructible. With his right spear-like weapon still blocking the blade he let his left extension drill into the ground as it began to stream an endless supply of the goo into the ground below them. Before Tierra made her move the shinigami who attacked him would see his zanpakuto begin to turn a molten red, the properties of Axolotl's gel seemed to be rising in temperature quickly to that of magmatic proportions. The ground around where he was streaming the liquid turning a dark red and cracking around him from the heat. Where this supply would pop out of from under the ground was hard to say until Axolotl acted. The only one safe from it being Tierra as she was also encased in his strange armor, even hers beginning to heat up as well meaning if the shinigami was caught by her next attack he'd feel the burning sensation around his ankle.
General OOC: Breaking posting format for now since I'm not sure if jighthigh is still busy or not. If anyone is confused about what Axolotl is doing and what his first release is capable of I'd suggest reading his profile, it's all pretty straight forward from there. ^^;
The Fallen Riceball We might have to discuss a few things, Axolotl's zanpakuto creates a material stronger than any human material, including diamond, as well as being stronger than any material in soul society. His defense is literally unbreakable unless a shinigami is in bankai form at the very least. It's all in his profile. Realistically despite your zanpakuto's abilities it'd be lucky to even put a chip into Axolotl's armor at shikai release so I'll be moving on as such.

The Charismatic CEO and Founder of the Fénix Corporation  Yami watched as the red headed espada charged straight at him from before his very eyes he was just about to dodge when a shinigami a captain by the look of it had intercepted the attack. "Oh so you've finally arrived have you Shinigami?" Yami said to no one in particular, he was quite please mad eater had succeeded in drawing the shinigami to the area just as he wanted perhaps the hollow wasn't totally useless it indeed had it uses.
Yami took note on how a battle would likely start soon and it would be in his best interest to leave rather then fight the espada and his aid and besides that the shinigami should be able to last for awhile at least, When yamI had observed enough he dashed away from the area as not to draw to much attention to himself passing the nearby quincy in the process. Yami smirked as he left the shinigami were going to be easy to manipulate if they listen to the words of a hollow like mad eater so easily. [Exits To Fénix Corperation]

 I don't do anything I don't need to do........................................................................................................ As the attack was blocked, his zanpakuto instantly activated the secondary and third passive techniques, feeling energy course through his body and strengthen him dramatically, his nerves feeling wired in a matter of a second. The third passive ability made black markings form along the spear like extensions that were used to block the blade. His weapon didn't like to be denied. Hiroshi was reminded of that time and time again when using it. If the blade didn't slice apart anything it came into contact with, it wanted that thing to die in a more painful way. Of course while the markings did nothing now, they'd take effect later.
He noticed the heat beginning to crack in the ground and it caused the Shinigami to grin, his weapons glowing along with his armor from all the heat in the area. Heat was energy. Energy was exactly the thing used to make his weapons even stronger. Maybe at his current state he couldn't cut through the armor of the Espada, however with enough friction removed from his blade, with enough cutting power gained, the enemy would come to realize that there wasn't a thing that Hiroshi couldn't cut through. Whether it be through Cero, heat, or mere kido energy, it would all make him stronger in the end.
Those were only the first and third abilities of his shikai though. The second would be his strong point in the fight. Enhanced bodily functions. He felt like he could feel everything, and that included the seismic activity going on beneath the ground. The feeling of heat cracking the pavement and a structure tearing through layers of ground were completely different things. Moving with an enhanced speed, he stepped back, one hand still on the spear from Axolotl, the other reaching and pulling out his cutlass from its sheath. The pincers burst out of the ground straight ahead of him. Slashing out the moment he drew his weapon, he crouched and let it drag through the molten earth before attempting to slash up and through the pincer. Even if his weapon wasn't strong enough to cut through it completely yet, it was steadily getting sharper with the more heat it took in as energy constantly. Along with that, the third passive curse of his shikai would set on the pincer if the blade even touched it.
His feet seemed to swirl as he made these movements. As he drew his weapon to slash at the pincer, he tugged at the spear-like extension, wanting to bring Axolotl closer. The Espada would find that while his defense was far superior, the strength of Hiroshi would far surpass his own, especially while his release was active. The pull, if it worked, would move axolotl closer and bring the heat he was giving off closer as well, steadily increasing the cutting power of the Shinigami. Lastly, if Hiroshi pulled and the man tried to pull his extension, odds are Hiroshi would win the battle of force because of the upper hand in strength. If the extension was out and the pincer rose through the ground high enough there was also a possibility of using the bone appendage of the fraccion to break the weapon of the Espada. This would do one thing for him either way. If she attempted to raise her appendage further to try and extend her reach to grab him, she would most likely break through the extension of Axolotl. This would give Hiroshi information on whether or not he could feel pain through these things.
If she did not raise high enough, then simply put Hiroshi would have one less thing to worry about.

Summary Information Zanpakuto State - Location - Japan Reaction - Moving out of the way of the pincer, gaining cutting power through heat energy. Action - Slicing at the pincer, pulling axolotl. (Naturally if the pincer goes back down and axolotl is pulled, the blade will move towards the Espada instead and possibly take another hit against his armor) Out Of Character - If you didn't understand the post, feel free to let me know xP Energy - Full Dreamy Maple Something I feel I should mention. His shikai starts off at that base power to cut through any material but diamond. It is also noted though that his cutting power gets stronger with the more energy he takes in. Naturally after sharpening his blade enough to stack up on the effect, it should be able to do some damage against the armor. I expect this to take some time though and don't expect to reach this kind of sharpness in a single post or anything.

Letting out a small whistle as the battle began Zack laughed to himself, the shinigami had been on time for once. He thought replaying the small seirse of events in his head. The hollow not had changed killing thehumans aaround him, his lovely assistant had done a disappearing act, and a male shinigami had moved into face the hollow boy. Letting out a sigh Zack couldn't believe his rotten luck, why another guy? The man to woman ratio was horribly out of whack, yet it was helped by the retreat of the blond guy. "I know I'm not supposed to get involved but this is just to orderly. Where's the fun? The chaos? The women? Seriously shinigami and hollow battles are so boring." He said as he pulled a pistol from seemingly nowhere and began twirling it around on his fingers.

Jack had to break her Kidō to flash out of the way of the incoming Cero. The Flirt didn’t know much about Arranacar but, their Cero certainly felt different than the Cero of an ordinary Hollow. Jack used Air Walk to land in the sky and, made a sound of disappointment when she noticed that she dropped her Soul Pager
Then she readjusted her aim. There was no point in reapplying the Kidō; she had already been discovered. Her haori twisted in the breeze. Jack wasn’t quite sure what was going on but, she had lost tract of the female Arrancar. No wait! There she was! She was under the ground; beneath Hiroshi. The male Arrancar was locked in battle with Hiroshi.
Jack could not get a shot in. Hiroshi was right over her target. Jack supposed she could send an arrow at the male Arrancar but, Hiroshi’s Zanpakutō wasn’t working yet. There was no way that her arrows would do anything another than annoy the Male Arrancar.
Then Jack felt another presence she didn’t recognize. There were two of them. However it looked like they were just observing the battle. Jack locked their position in her mind’s eye. If they did choose to attack Jack we be ready for them.
Jack whispered, “I need a target Hiroshi! Can you give me a target or are you just going to stand in the way the whole time?”

The black markings were noted by Axolotl as the attack failed to slice through his armor, the hardened case around his body proved to be quite powerful. He would have to remove the markings, he had a simple way of doing so as the shinigami didn't understand the ability his release gave him, the endless supply of this gelatin being produced by his body meant he could rid himself of it and create more to replace what was once there. As his companion attempted to slice through their opponent Axolotl was in a tough spot, with one hand drilling into the ground and releasing his powers in a liquid form underneath the surface this meant he had little ways to stop the man from pulling him forward into Tierra's attack. As the pincer made contact with his spear-like extension it would cut it however only because Axolotl let it, the extension turned from a hard casing to liquid in the shinigami's hands, it would be quick to burn him severely and splatter onto his arms and the likes. The extension was gone on one of his arms now, just the hard thin layer surrounding his body remaining and the second extension on his other arm. He didn't show any signs of pain meaning the only way to hurt him would be to slice through the armor and his hierro in order to inflict damage. He had been able to stream enough of the liquid underneath the ground that it was covering a decent area underneath the shinigami and himself as well.
"Tierra I seemed to have over-estimated my opponent slightly, I will fend off the shinigami while you complete the mission. The casing I gave you should fend off any attacks so feel free to retrieve the anchors and return home while I finish up here..." he insisted, somewhat lying to the woman, he wanted to keep her safe and away from the shinigami before him because his attacks were becoming closer and closer at cutting through his shell, he could feel his power increase as time went on. If he were to face defeat here he wanted to make sure nobody else was around to watch it, he couldn't look weak in front of his comrades, not so early on in his life. To give his friend some cover he decided he would use the magma-like liquid he had just stored beneath the areas surface as a geyser and hopefully keep the shinigami away for a short period. Manipulating and building up the liquid underneath himself and the shinigami he concentrated it and had it shoot up like a fountain high into the air, the white liquid seemed to reach the clouds from where they were standing. The area around the crater began to rain, however it was more akin to raining fire as the lava-like properties the liquid had taken on were still present. If the two captains didn't run for the edge of the crater they may suffer severe wounds if they found no way to block the oncoming rain. There wasn't much of the liquid, only enough to make it rain for maybe fifteen seconds, for someone of Tierra's speed that should give her enough time to grab the anchors and leave.
Summary: Axolotl let one of his extensions be cut off by Tierra, liquidizing it so that it would splatter unto Hiroshi and burn him with the lava-like heat it's currently producing. As well as had the liquid he was sending underground shoot up into the sky like a geyser and rain down upon the crater for fifteen seconds.

Tierra took the Captains bait confidently, exiting the ground and letting that blade strike her pincer as her other claw struck through Axes spear. However Axes protection spun much farther than the captain seemed to think, as the blade struck solidly against the gel. Scylla raised herself out of the tunnel, long, white bladed legs stabbing into the earth as she stood, towering over the two. Her tail arched over her armoured, doubly so with the gel, back, tip gleaming cruelly in the light as it aimed towards the man. A light blue light took hold on the stinger, drawing in power as she studied him, little blue and gold circles running across the black, shaded coverings on her eyes as she studied him. "Axolotl. He draws in heat and energy from the surroundings to increase his destructive ability." The temperature suddenly dropped as the ball of reitsu on her tail began to take form, covering the tip as she prepared a special version of the Cero, taking it upon herself to freeze the man and his weapon to reduce the energy he had taken in.
The initiative stopped instantly upon Axolotls order. " Of course." Her attack redirected from his opponent, the tip flipping over suddenly on the agile tail and blasting a large, freezing beam of pure reishi at the woman behind them. With what she viewed as her current competition distracted she suddenly launched herself over the two males, her claw holding on tightly to the Captains weapon as she went over them, releasing it only when she had smashed into the earth, attempting to pull him off balance for her Espada to have a better chance at striking him. The single minded scorpion sunk into the earth again, the bone white carapace dissappearing into the ground as she tunneled her way towards the anchors. One suddenly dropped under the ground, seeming to sink into the earth like a peg fitting into a hole. Not too long after that the massive scorpion surfaced next to the second anchor, shoving a pincer forward like she was striking an opponent, only to have the tip sink into the air. She yanked down, a loud crackling filling the air as she tore open a hole from the human world to Hueco Mundo. Not nearly as pretty or refined as an Espadas Garganta, but just as effective. She turned, her very front and very back legs holding up, the middle four legs cradling the anchor up against her lower half, protecting it with her body. She gently picked the other anchor up with her gelled claws, hoping the gel would protect the wood from the razor edges. "Whenever you're ready to join me, Sir. We have what we came for." She stated.

The female Arrancar darted around to collect the anchors that made mark the corners of the explosion that had destroyed Komugichiku. She was moving too fast and, Jack couldn’t get a decent aim. Finally the Arrancar stayed still long enough for Jack to get her in her sights.
Jack grinned, “Got you!” Jack sent a blood colored bolt straight at the Arrancar’s eye, “Ya no Chi!”
Jack didn’t have time to see if her attack had made contact. She had been distracted by a noise coming from her Soul Pager. Jack’s face went as pale as a bleached white sheet. The sound that was coming from her dropped Pager was the distress signal. The situation in the Seireitei must have gotten worse.
Jack flashed to stand behind Hiroshi; she reached out to grab the back of his uniform, “Time to go!”
Jack used Shunpo to flash over to were her Soul Pager was. She bent down to retrieve it. She did not let go of her fellow Captain. Then Jack opened a Senkaimon. Without waiting for Hiroshi’s permission she headed back to the Seireitei.
Once the Senkaimon was closed behind them Jack let go of Hiroshi, “I’m sorry but things have gotten worse in the Seireitei.”
Jack looked at the texts she had missed. There had been an explosion similar to the one in Komugichiku in one of the Rukon distracts. That was bad. What the hell was going on?
Jack forced herself to smile. It would be alright. Of course it would be alright.

Tierra successfully escaped, the arrow shot by the second shinigami wouldn't have the strength to pierce the armor protecting her so he had no worries. The arrancar was surprised to see a shinigami male with the ability to cut through his gelatinous armor, he would need to keep an eye out for this man if he survived the current onslaught taking place inside of the seireitei. With the mission completed and the retreat of his current opponents axolotl was able to remove his armor as the gel escaped his body and reformed back into his sheathed blade. He was ready to return, violence and bloodshed was interesting but he'd rather be back home and speak more with Tierra, she had surprised him in this little adventure. He didn't see a lot of what she could do but he took note that she was obedient and listened to everything he commanded, following through with his orders with little hesitation, it was a trait he admired in her. She seemed strong and his powers would go to good use on her, perhaps he could convince her to be his partner indefinitely and to continue this little duo they had going on. With the battlefield finally barren and calm the espada also opened his own escape route through a garganta, going back to los nochas so he could report to the cero and further the companionship between himself and the one who would hopefully be his fraccion, Tierra. With little else to do at the crater he departed, hoping that he might even be able to join in the attack on soul society if the cero allowed him to do so. [exit]

A heavy sigh left the silver haired man, the battle was over before it'd even really started. Yet that was not the only thing depressing the quincy, he was more distraught by the cute red head only showing up for a moment. Sure he'd been able to give her a full once over, it was a gift of his, but still he'd no no name to call her. Speaking of calling he just remembered he had to call in a report. As if by some divine guidance, he found himself being called by HQ. Picking up he smiled, "Melissa my sweet I knew you'd come around. Shall we go out when I get back dinner a romantic walk then back to my place to help increase future quincy numbers? Oh right the mission, this place is great a temple a few houses and a huge creator. It seems it was caused by human looking hollow and had something to do with two strange pillars that were here. Judging by the distance from one another I'd wager there had been more, likely four in all. Two of these human hollows came a angry boy and short haired beauty. The angry boy used some kind of gel looking armor and from what I saw the girl got claws like a crab or lobster or scorpion. Anyways two shinigami captains came and where utterly useless against the two hollow. Oh and there was a human who could shoot cero. That's my report now what do you say to my offer dinner a walk and some late night fun?" Zack hoped he could finally mark Melissa off his quincy female list, then he could choose his future wife while having fun out side of quincy ranks. The law stated he mist marry only a quincy it said nothing about sleeping with others.

The display of explosions and shattering ground had all military on high alert. They had immediately cleared the proximity, but not all were fast enough. Corpses surrounded the area where the battle had taken place either half-disintegrated by stray blasts or asphyxiated by the powerful Reiatsu that had been released nearby. That was not the end of their trouble, however. Soon, all comm channels were jammed until all of them started broadcasting the same thing. Quote: Transmissions with video feed would all display the same video. The broadcast showed the darkened silhouette of a man. One could make out little more than a pair of round glasses and neatly trimmed white hair. When he spoke, it was with a slow, raspy voice, one that all Quincies knew too well. "Greetings, people of earth, people of flesh and blood. I am the Monarch, and I am here to give you answers. As you may have heard by now, a part of mainland Japan has vanished without a trace. While the government and scientists fumble for an explanation, I am willing to give you one: spirits of the dead." The leader of the Quincy, the Monarch, paused as though giving his audience the time to laugh or perhaps he was giving himself time to catch his breath as it was well-known among the Wandenreich that their beloved leader's health had been declining. "It is time to open your eyes and your mind. The supernatural does exist and you have no hope of protecting yourselves should they attempt to strike. You must have all heard tales of mysterious disappearances or deaths. Coincidence? Perhaps, but can you say for certain after the events of Komugichiku? How can you fight that you cannot see? How can you run from the unknown? Fear not, my people, for I am here for you. Join us. Fight along us. Become the hunter." The transmission ended there. Audio and visual feeds slipping back into static.

Zack sighed upon hearing the monarch's words, so the old man went and spilled the beans. He thought walking over to one of the dead bodies and checking it for identification, a soldier at Fénix Co. "Melissa my sweet I'll be checking out a lead on this thing in Japan so our date will be postponed. If Jas ask tell her I'm off with a girl." Zack would then close his phone and head off towards his new lead, Fénix Corporation.
