▰ ▰ ▰ ▰ ▰ ▰ ▰ ▰ ▰ The Dragonsong Spear
The Way of the Swordspear
In the days of hold, valiant warriors who braved the fury of dragons and other winged monstrosities constructed a weapon with the strength to match their foe and the reach to match: synergy between greatsword and spear. They then formed a style of combat that worked well with the weapon. Though many variations of the style existed, the one that stood the test of time was the version implemented by the greatest dragonslayer... who turned to dragon rider that ever existed. The Dragonsong Spear. While the style itself did not actually completely hold, there is enough remaining to easily hold on it's own or be used in conjunction with other styles for maximum impact. Due to the size of the weapon required, these techniques cannot be used one handed by anyone with a strength below ten.▰ ▰ ▰ S K I L L S
• Weighted Pierce D The user moves foreward with a slight burst of speed and stabs the swordspear at the target. This technique's power increases the more powerful the user is.
• Embued Strike D-S Requires Energy The user embues the swordspear head with energy, allowing their next attack to do the damage of that attack with the damage of the embued strike as well.
• Empowerment C Requires Energy Coats the the blade with elemental energy, increasing the range of the reach of the swordspear by half the length of the blade itself, and causes any attacks the swordspear connects with to deal an additional D damage passively for five posts.
• Blink Step C Requires Energy The user taps into the power of their element and momentarily becomes incorporeal. Their position shifts only a few feet, but they can pass through solid objects. This technique has a two post cooldown.
• Dragon Storm C The user swings horizontally at the target, then carries through the swing in a rotation. They then does the same thing four more times, and on the fifth time they strike from above is head of the side. Spin to win with an overhead smash at the end.
• Judgement Bolt C-S Requires Energy The user creates an elemental copy of their swordspear, then throws said copy at the target. The size and power of the technique is increased by rank.
• Draconic Wrath B The user first gets within striking distance of the opponent. They then strike a total of four times: once left to right, once right to left, once from overhead, and finally once from below with the butt of the swordspear. The strike from below causes the target to lift into the air, from where the user strikes once more: jumping, rolling their body, and striking the airbourne target from above.
• Rolling Reckoning B-S Requires Energy By utilizing energy and from an elevated position, the weapon blade strikes the ground from an overhead swing. When the blade makes contact, a wave in the form of a cone (Minimum of forty feet, increased by twenty feet per rank) causes the ground to crack, shake, then very shortly thereafter erupt with pure energy. The size of the cone, size of the eruption, and damage scale with rank.
• Dragon Fang A The user stabs their Swordspear into the target. They then roll their body to the target's flank, removing the swordspear from the target and striking with the blade with a slash. For the third attack, the user carries through the second attack and stabs the target through the back. The final move is kicking the target off the swordspear.
• Dragon Judgement S Requires Energy This is an enhanced version of Judgement Bolt, the user instead generating ten bolts around their person before unleashing them upon a target. These bolts will hound their target.
• Dragon Armageddon SS Requires Energy The user focused their energy into a single attack. Emanating an aura of pure energy, the user jettisons towards their desired target in a mass of destruction, the form of a dragon head consuming all in its path. Upon reaching the target, the energy explodes causing massive damage in a very large area.
