It was really good that the crowd had learned to stay clear of the Dunk a Wallist booth. She was sure quite a few had bruises. Her ball rolled in the grass and she bit her inner lip as she contemplated her next move. Again she picked up the ball and again she threw it toward the target.
It made contact with a loud SMACK, followed by a large SPLASH.

Grabbing another ball, the young girl threw it at the mechanism. She barely missed.

Lenore hoisted another ball. Throwing it, it slammed into the mechanism with a resounding thud.

Lenore picked up another ball, wasting little time in trying again. She missed again, deciding to try once more before heading back to her shift at the booth.

She picked up another ball as she waited for the young lad to extract himself from the water. Sirantha found it funny that it was just the three woman that were trying to dunk the lad, the men seemed to have wandered off or just stood back to watch the boy get a good soaking. It was rhythmic, the throwing of the ball into each hand and quite calming. With a smile, she sent it flying again.

So close, yet so far away. Again she picked up a ball, and threw it at the mechanism with all her strength.
She gave a slight dance when it made contact with the mechanism and dropped the boy into the water. Perhaps they should put people on the dunk tank who need baths... this would be the best way to make sure they finally smelled fresh.

Swinging his legs he felt his face pull into another silly smile. This was a lot of fun for him as well really. "Uh huh, I think it will! Try as ye mii------...." And he was off again. Weee. "Well then." he lightly treaded water, taking his time to reset back up. He shot his sister a look, as she was nearly falling off her chair now. "Aleeec!" She shouted waving. " You look silly." She assured him. "Thanks..." He rolled his eyes setting his station back up for the small gathered crowd. "Now then." Alec looked thoughtful squinting a the crowd. Who would it be this time? ...Just as soon as the thought came to mind he was back down again. Well then.

The young lad was quite enjoying himself it seemed. He constantly had a large grin upon his face and asked the women standing before him who would be the next person to drop him. She shook her head at the silliness of it and picked up a ball. Would be the one to dunk him again or would it be the other girl standing next to her? They were about to see...
"Yes!" Victory! She hit the target again and sent the lad into the water with a splash.

Lenore threw one last ball before she had to head back. It missed, and the girl turned and left with a wave.

Elliot made a valiant, valiant effort not to hit Alec in the face. Apparently that worked better than trying to aim for the mechanism, because before he knew what had happened, the redhead went plummeting into the water.

Alec had enough time to wave good bye to Lenore, glad to have seen her again. More so that he actually caught the girl laughing. She'd been so quiet and stared at him when they first met. She'd really grown on him.
And then it was back to his Booth duties.
Down he went, first he had to recover from the excited womans throw pleased she was doing so well. Secretly he'd been worried the odds were against them, but people seemed to be winning left and right after a bit of tries, and practice.
Then there was Elliot. As soon as he could climb up to his perch. He was gone again. I want to fly like an eagle.
It took him a little bit longer to climb out this time. He'd done this several times in a row after all. But it didn't dampen his spirits. Instead, he climbed out of he tank shaking himself off, purposely getting his sister wet to hush the tiny girls laughter before resuming his vigilant perch. "No, don't be sorry at all! Not bad after the first hit." He peered down at the other boy, lazily swinging his legs again rubbing idly at his knee.

"Well, if you're sure..."
He hefted another ball. While he took no particular pleasure in trying to dunk Alec, he always thought that these games were kind of fun...in a sadistic kind of way, he supposed. That being said, after watching the girls go at it with the game, he was beginning to wonder if the other boy could use some kind of...well, cushioning.
Right as poor Alec got back up, Elliot hit the target and sent him straight back down.
...Oops.

She was having a blast, but it was time to go. The noble woman picked up her last ball and stared at it in a sort of wonder. She had completely failed in the beginning of the game, and now her hits were more than her misses. She was quite proud of herself. The boy with the pink hair threw again and then again, each time hitting the mechanism and causing his red haired friend to enter into the tank. As she waited for the boy to pull himself out, which seemed to take longer now that he has been dunked so many times, she looked around, she really enjoyed it here.
He was back on his spot, with a smile she tossed her last ball of the day.
She was close to the mechanism, but not near enough to cause the boy to drop. "Thank you, I have not had that much fun in ages." With a wave, she walked away from the booth with a slight dance in her step.

"Oh, yea. I'm sure." He replied, having been the one to sign himself up for this task after all. Alec had played darts with Elliot. Some of his shots like his own had been absolutely ridiclous, but he knew the boy had a good arm...but the perfection of his very next shot rewarded the pink haired boy a squawk of disapproval as he went swimming yet again.
He took his time, as the crowd was slowly thinning out. Once settled back down he gave Elliot a suspicious look. "Uh uh, I see how it is." Alec wasn't serious and just shrugged. At least he'd made a few faces happy at least. Some more so than others.
"Hey thanks for stopping by!" He called, waving a wet sleeve. For those whom departed directed this to everyone, and when one in particular spoke to him as Lenore and the other longer haired woman hadn't said good bye he nodded to her leaning over a bit to peer down at her, lifting his goggles off his blue eyes.
"I'm glad you did. I'll be around for a couple days, feel free to stop any time -- so long as I'm here."

"There's a baked goods booth just a little ways away," Elliot informed him as he picked up another ball, haphazardly tossing it and looking unsurprised when it went soaring off somewhere else, "Remind me to buy you something after you get off from er...dunking duty. I'm sure you'll be hungry after all this."
Probably, anyways. Actually, he was pretty hungry himself right now...
