Ahnna waisted little time in taking persuit after the herald, but rather then sit she went to grab the man's arm and pull him close to her. It was a rather odd, forward, intrusive action that ment to bring his head right next to hers as if they were dancing 'cheek to cheek.' "Yeah yeah, ill sit in aminute but there is somethin' I think we both better get clear." She whispered.

Meanwhile, standing exactly where she had been, Rosa crossed her arms before her chest and arched her back backwards some, with a very 'unimpressed' look as she watched her Kithain with an eyebrow raised. Of course, she didnt look the slightest bit embaressed, rather annoyed. "Ahnna.. do I need to send you back to your home realm or are you going to behave yourself?" Her question recieved no awnser. The now semi huffy countess shook her head and watched the cat closer to her, deciding to see if it was at all like Gaston was as she approached to pet it.. cautiously.

Ahnna blinked when Alces moved away from her, scoffing slightly. "Oh dont be some little girly sissy, man! Get some nerve! A backbone! An' come here!" She demanded, deciding she would simply move closer to him as she said what she wanted. At the very least, however, the woman had the decency not to be touching him anymore. Just.. barely..not touching him. "Lets say here, for the sake of argument, that your ol' King and his wife were to.. well..croak. Would that mean you took charge of things or is it that Aesculus missy miss hates so much?" She asked in a suspicious mannor.

Rosa blinked at Teres, and hesitantly pet him with only the pads of two fingers at first. "You arnt dirty, are you?" She asked the cat as if expecting a responce as she sunk to her knees slowly, and just as cautiously. She leaned forward a bit and sniffed the air, as if to see if this cat was of ..good hygiene and didnt smell badly.

Ahnna exhaled slowly. "Oh. That's a good thing. I mean, if it had been you, you really wouldent want to tell Rosa because she would..heh... but then, im sure she already knows who it would be.. At any rate, maybe I should point it out. Might get rid of her problems with Aes, you know, make her try and marry him for power or somethin?" A rather.. sinister look..over took the womans face as she continued to ramble. "I dont know if she would, though, even for that much power.. I mean she does seem to scathe that man... But I think that.. it would be interesting at the same time and I wouldent have to listen to her rant about him every night.." She looked back at 'poor' Rosa as if contemplating, and snickered to herself as she thought.

Of course, what she didnt realise is that Rosa was well aware of any prospective power and influence Aesculus might have/could have/has and.. really didnt care when it came to him. Ah. Wishful thinking.

And besides, Rosa was so 'above' marrying for 'power' anyways.. since she was after all one of the most powerful people in the first place...or.. so she thought.

Rosa also exhaled and gave the cat a brief, approving nod. "Alright. I guess you are.. a good animal. By animal's standards, mind you." She stopped when she noticed the other cat like thing and blinked a few times. "Uh.. Hello..greetings..err.. thing." She had stopped petting the first cat and proceeded to stare at the other thing.

Ahnna blinked at Alces, and crossedher arms. "And what if I dont want to sit, mister? Why are you fey people all so demanding? Personally I think its rather rude." She huffed and looked at Rosa, contemplating her evil sinister 'wonderful' and doomed-never-to-work plan. "Rosa let's hurry this up, shall we?" She asked a few moments later.

"I will not be hurried, Ahnna. Especially not by you. If you would like to go back to my chambers and wait in your more.. boistrous mannor I surely dont have any objec..!" The countess stopped and suddenly became alarmed when her 'personal space' was invaded by both the cat oriented animals. "Oh!" Shifting to her other foot uncomfortably, and eventually giving way to her own weight, she came to sit on the ground on her behind and carefully pet each creature. Of course, she was making it seem now as if this were more of an ambush and she was forced to be some breathtakingly-gorgeous petting-slave while 'surrounded,' and this theory only enforced as she saw the.. drop thing bouncing off twords her. "Uh.. yes, Alces.. friendly." The countess hesitated.

With a sigh, the human turned her attentions regretably back to the herald, and eventually did sit as she was bid to. She only gave the elk-totem a motion for him to join her in the seat beside, with a forbidding grin painted on her lips as she watched him.

Ahnna blinked at Alces again and narrowed her eyes somewhat, "Well fine!" She exclaimed, and just proceeded to half glare at the two fey.

Rosa gave her own fake smile as she gave Teres one last 'pat'... if you could even call half stroking a cat with two fingers a pet... and then gently swatted at it to go back a step or two as she took his hand with the other of hers. "No, no.." She said quickly, eyeing Teres as she rose to her feet as if expecting him to pounce on her. "That's quite alright.. Alces..." She sighed in a relieved mannor again and looked back at him, dropping his hand sharply she gave a nod. "Yes, well, im afraid she is particularly obnoxious tonight because of what they call 'alcohol'... It's quite sad, I realise, and I am sorry if it pesters you Alces.. but imagine how it must be for me and then perhaps you will feel a little btter." She said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"So maybe I should hurry this up. Alces! There are things we need to speak of!" She exclaimed a moment or so later, looking at him with a refreshed smile and a glint in her eyes which only told she thought whatever was to come was very 'special.' That or she was extreamly proud of herself which wasent a far fetched idea...

Rosa grinned a minute, and nodded as she turned around and looked around. "Oh.. the trouble with invisible things is I always end up loosing them.." She blinked, and gave a sigh, before nodding at his bed. "I think I slipped it over there, only I am not entirely sure where. It should show in a minute." She nodded some more to herself before she turned back to him. "But that is really beside the point. If I wanted to just deliever payme..err.. the gift I would of dropped it off. Instead, im here to ask you to be my escourt in a few nights, Alces. Of course, you will say yes." She said, as if that were a given, and was going to continue before she heard his Kithain from across the room.

She snorted loudly, and shook her head. "Dont be insane, Rosa! The poor man has every right to refuse having to suffer at your side for an entire freaking' party." She shook her head sadly, and gave Alces a nod. "Trus' me hon, we will ALL understand if you want to make some lame excuse. Infact.." She looked like she was a second away from getting up and dragging Rosa off somewhere, Rosa meanwhile just looked terribly confused.

Rosa, who finnaly clocked in what AHnna had been saying, was about to object when Alces had spoken. She blinked a few times at him, and took in a deep breath as she took a few steps away from him. Her bottom lip pushed out some, as she began to look rather offended and very much like a 'little kid' who was just denied something wonderful would. "You dont.. want ... But.. I thought for s.." She stopped talking and seemed to go into her ever-fammilar 'fine ill just be angry' mode as she crossed her arms and marched over to his door.

Well, with Rosa, anything aside from a direct enthusiastic 'Yes Ill always love you!' sort of response.. was... a no, or not good enough.. or something.

"Come, Ahnna." She barked, though even still she looked more pouting and upset before her anger.

Ahnna was staring blankly at the red haired fey, shaking her head slowly as she cmae to her feet, and walked by Alces. "Good one. You didnt even have to make an excuse." She said with a grin, just as a very ... odd.. odd odd odd looking hat appeared on Alces' bed by the cat thing.

"It is a party with costumes, Alces, hence the ridiculous hat. And yes, but dont let that play in your mind. Ill be going now. Farewell." She snapped as she tried the handle at the door. By then Ahnna was over aswell, and was now leaning against the door in an attempt to keep Rosa in the room. "No.. Rosa.. if he doesnt want to go you cant be mad.. at.." She struggled with the woman over control of the door - and in total the two looked quite ridiculous. "You have enough enemies, woman, dont get all ..." "Would you mind your own buisness!?" The countess demanded, finnaly giving up on forcefully removing the human girl as she crossed her arms and glared at Alces, then AHnna, then Alces again.. looking very much like she didnt know who to be angrier at.

Ahnna meanwhile was smiling at Alces. "Sorry an' all darlin. This will only take a minute then we will be outta your hair.." SHe eyed the hat again and shuddered to herself, "Quite a hideous thing, re-" she stopped when she heard the Countess hiss and just took in a deep breath and dramatically rolled her eyes.
