She continued her patching. "The important thing is your back now. Everyone has missed you. I am most sure that Aesculus will be overjoyed at your return. As am I." She finishes patching up his leg wounds and sits looking over his changes trying not to make it look too obvious. "I think We've got them patched well. Maybe we should have Ursa look over them tomorrow."

Cervus dipped his antlered head awkwardly, still trying to get used to the weight and expanse of the larger horns. "Yes, that would be best. I will...retire to my chambers if you do not require me further, Milady. I should not wish to disturb your rest so soon before the birth of our heir." He unsteadily turned to leave.

Relief washed over the features of the King, somehow impossibly beautiful in spite of his bestial attributes. He let his queen lead him to her chambers to seek solace in her arms on his return home.

Well seems I lived through it. Slightly worse for wear. Tamia is an angel but she sure didn't do my body any good. Hehe. on a sad note it seems that our child is not free from the curse that binds the rest of us to the gaians. Don't get me wrong my Kithain is a lovely woman but I had hoped for more for my child. I hope Cervus is not too disappointed that I did not give him a male heir. I sense however that one day she will make a fine leader. I wish I coulod write more but I have other duties to attend to.
