The young man was the type of person to give up when faced with too much opposition. It was better to go against the flow than to fight against it... but this balloon was practically asking for a beating. Grumbling loudly, he tested the point of the dart, as if to make sure it was sharp enough. He'd rather blame it on a dull point than his terrible aim today... As he threw his third dart, he claimed it was definitely the dart's fault and not his own.

"I should have just stayed back at Elliot's booth... I could have made some more money at least." Instead of spending it picking up darts and futilely throwing them towards balloons. Yet, here he was, still doing just that. Bas clearly was not a quitter today.
HAH, finally that balloon made a satisfying pop! Bas would high five Elliot later for this victory, but for the time being he was satisfied with picking out a small prize. Now that his vendetta against the balloon had been satisfied, he should be on his way...
But the game was calling to him! He had to play some more. Elliot needed a prize too, right?

This was for his poor miserable friend, who was stuck tending his family's booth! Or, at least that's what Bas was telling himself as he picked up another dart and aimed for a balloon that seemed to be a more vibrant color than the rest. It was offending him the most... so it simply had to go.
...and he missed, well, that's what he got for getting cocky.

So, his winning ratio wasn't all that great, but surely he had enough time to improve on it? He should probably check up on his friend soon, though right now his mind was on the prize... or on popping balloons. "Don't mind me..." he was kind of hogging up the area, since it was taking him so long to win what he wanted and he refused to budge until he did.

Okay, maybe Elliot really didn't need a prize... But now Bas definitely did have to come back with something for being gone for so long. The young man was beginning to get fairly annoyed, but instead of getting mad, he just got... passive aggressive. He eyed the balloons with clear disdain, and aimed another dart at them.
Hah, another balloon down! Bas picked out a pink kitty plush for his friend, since it matched his hair so well.

He was back again, mostly he reasoned for another shot at candy and because he had enjoyed tossing the darts around yesterday in the attempts of improving his aim. There was that kid again he'd seen at another booth. " Are you right handed or left?" he asked of the other, kind of blurting the question out as he went to retrieve his own dart so he could give his first go a shot. What would it hurt to ask? The satisfying pop of a balloon had his attention over to the board. Oh! He'd gotten off to a good start. Selecting his candy reward the teen popped a piece in his mouth chewing.

With his mission accomplished, Bas could actually leave the booth with pride. But, this was getting fun! At least when he was winning, so what was the harm in throwing around a few more darts? So long as he hit in the general vicinity of the balloons and not the masses of people about...
"Oh, I'm right handed," Bas told the other young man, arching a curious brow and throwing his next dart. It was actually pretty much a miracle that he had even hit a balloon that time, since he was so distracted! "You?" He could at least make small talk while he tackled these balloons.

Onto another dart, he grabbed for it taking aim and giving his left wrist a quick flick. It would be terrible if a dart were to hit some one...at least he was confident in his tossing darts, the worse he ever managed to do was get them stuck in the ground, or bounce helplessly off the board at worse. At least thus far anyway. "Left.. I think anyway." It seemed most comfortable. His right hand usually resulted in some pretty botched attempts anyway. Alec glanced back curious from the other male, to the board curious if he'd hit anything. Maybe talking and playing a game of darts was a bad idea.. Another satisfying pop sound. "Well then." He selected another stuffed animal, this time it was a small cat he quietly tucked under his arm discretely.

"You think?" Bas asked with a skeptical smile. Usually, that sort of thing was fairly obvious. Bas knew he was right handed since he was a child, but maybe some people could use both with ease? "So you're good with both hands, I'm assuming." Bas picked up another dart, not even thinking about how much time he was spending on this game now that he had someone to talk to about it.
Another balloon popped, and Bas practically beamed at his new victory. Wow, having someone else to keep him from thinking about this too hard certainly helped increase his winning streak. "I think I'm getting good at this," the young man purred happily.

"Well for throwing anyway my lefts better." He added laughing at himself for having sounded unsure of his own abilities. The younger boy rubbed the back of his neck some. "I write like garbage either way. But I can use both fairly evenly for the most part yea." He answered the other male, seeing him score the high prize Alec gestured at the board. "Oh! Nice shot." he noted, letting go of his own dart in hopes of following up his last two good shots with another successful attempt..hopefully at least. "Oopse." he tossed it wrong, missing a balloon as it bounced off the dart board. Well that hadn't gone as well as he'd hoped. [[lolol nice :3 i'm just doing this for something to do ;w; dont mind my silly tags for you <3 ]]

"Oh, by the way, name's Bas." He never bothered to introduce himself as Sebastian. The named sounded pretentious, and it was easier to go by his nickname. Since he scored the big prize, Bas decided to take a step back and let some other people play, though he didn't quite leave yet. It'd be rude to the other boy who had kept him company through some of his failed attempts.
"My handwriting is pretty shoddy too, and that's with my one and only good hand." He hadn't remained in school for longer than he was required to - he hadn't been a bad student, but his family had needed him for work, and there was nothing he could do about that. "Still, two hands have to be better than one," he added with a lazy smile.

He'd been the one to introduce himself first almost every single time up until now. The friendly introduction was a nice change of pace. He wouldn't stay too much longer, he'd won yesterday and was more here just to give it a couple go-rounds in between activities. "Alec." He offered the other. Taking his last shot for the time being whether he missed or not. "I've thought about practicing then I just get tired of it." he admitted. He hadn't applied the skill set, and most of his teachers had been leery of his using a pen with both hands, let alone favoring. "I didn't care for it in school, and defiantly don't now." He concluded to the others friendly remark. His sister had been born, and his mother needed some one to deliver supplies. The choice for him had been a simple one on what was best for the Scott family. "But hey, its alright, we'll just sign our names as chicken scratch." He laughed. "Oh man..I think I'm good some one else can play. Maybe I'll try another game." He glared as the dart stuck in the board harmlessly as if to mock him. He was grateful the other had stuck around for just a bit longer it was a nice change of pace.
