If you chose A
The boy shook his head. "No. We should keep going. We're almost there." The little girl looked to him. Was he sure? How could he know? Usually she was the one saying things like that. "Alright. If you're sure." She looked around where they were. "This is the way." She pointed to a path in the forest that was least inhabited by overgrowth before running toward it. The little boy followed, leaving the glowing safety of their current spot behind. It wasn't long now before they would find it. The camp they were looking for.
They walked together now, the boy no longer pushed along by the girl, and were heading toward a clearing when they heard another sound in the woods. They both looked to each other, seeming to understand that they were in for it again...
They couldn't see what it was, but whatever it was sounded large.
What will you choose?
A. Stay and fight! For real this time.
B. Hide! My pride's not too hurt to do it again.
C. It sounds like people! Run to them!
If you chose B
"I'm hungry." As if on cue his stomach gurgled and rumbled. The choice was made then. They would stay where they were for just a little while. They couldn't face the end of their journey on an empty stomach now could they? The little girl sat cross legged on the floor and pulled the bag she had been carrying all this time from her shoulder. "Alright then. Good thing we have enough light to see." She opened the bag and pulled out the small amounts of bread and cheese they had brought with them. "We'll need enough for the trip back too, so we can eat this now." She pulled off a third of what they brought and put the rest back.
The boy sat down beside her. "Okay. That looks good." He let her split what they would share in half and ate quietly. How would they know when they would go back to Neued? The other adults would look for them if they didn't, right? It wouldn't be long before they found the camp, right?
They finished off what they had and licked their fingers of the crumbs. No use wasting it when they didn't know how much further they had. They stood from their spots when they heard another sound coming from the forest. They both looked to each other, seeming to understand that they were in for it again...
They couldn't see what it was, but whatever it was sounded large.
What will you choose?

Takoda felt his pulse begin to race again, what sounds were the two kids hearing? After all he could just barely make it out and he had no idea what it could come from. If it was another beast he was going to be too far away to be able to help them! Scrambling he tried to catch up to them, now not so concerned if they heard him moving through the trees.
What had they heard? What could it be that they were heading into!? What if it was bandits? Or worse those bug mages?

They ate, smiling as she did so. They were all happy and full, that was until they heard a noise once again. She looked around, running didn't seem like the best idea right now. "Come on, let us hide this time!" she whispered furiously as she moved the three into them a bush that should hide all three of them.

Mella tilted her head to listen to the noise with the youngsters. It wasn’t the same as before. A part of her hoped it was people. If it wasn’t she could always flee herself. “The two of you hide and wait here. I’m going to check it out and find out for use if it’s the camp we are looking for.” She gave them both a smile and pat on the head before nervously heading toward the noise.

As they were about dine, another noise caught the group's attention. "Oh no! What could it be this time?" Lue gasped. She quickly grabbed both children by the hands and lead them back into the woods. "Let's hide again, just to be sure....maybe we'll come out if it's safe..."

Yelena smiled and way watched them eat the food. She was glad they were being smart and had the food they needed. She had been a bit concerned about them but there was no need. She spun around as she head the sound it sounded like something big. Maybe it was people. She nodded her head and touched the two kids' heads to calm them down and smiled. "It might be people lets go and see. Don't worry I won't let you get hurt."

The little boy turned to the girl this time. "Let's fight them off! We can win." The girl's eyes were wide. She was afraid this time. After their first encounter she was a bit weary at fighting anything in this forest. They waited for whatever it was that was coming towards them.
Finally it broke through the bushes and they were men! People! The two kids didn't think they could be any happier that there were people there. But they were strange. They were shifter colors, or any of the other colors of Tendaji. They were dark skinned, with red eyes. Obans! The Oban men looked to each other and grabbed the two kids, pulling them into the forest!
Game Over!
The kids have been captured! Oh no, I guess it's game over for you.
If you chose B
They looked to each other, both seeming to know what they were going to do next. They both ran into the bushes and hid from whatever it was that was coming at them. It was men! But good thing they hid. They were Oban men. Not something either of them wanted to see, but knew that it meant they were getting closer. When the men had passed on, they moved as quietly as they could through the bushes and into the edge of a clearing. The camp! They made it. They could find their parents!
They were there somewhere in the camp, being held prisoner. When the war ended, no one had come back to claim these two children, but they knew that their parents couldn't be dead. And they were right. They snuck through the shadows, trying not to be noticed, and after hours of searching and more hunger, they found their parents' prison. They made it! Now to figure out how to get them out.
Congratulations!
You've made it through the perils of the forest and the kids have been reunited. Good luck getting them out of the camp!
If you chose C
They looked to each other, both seeming to think the same thoughts. People. They found people. It had to be their parents! They just knew it. All this way and their parents were coming to meet them. They sprinted toward the sounds of people walking and stopped short, far away enough to spy before they charged in. They were in dangerous territory after all. They peeked at who they were chasing after and yelled in relief. It really was their parents!
Congratulations!
You've made it through the perils of the forest and the kids have been reunited. They even had the good fortune of finding their parents escaped from their prison. What luck!
