Lupinus shrugged. "It was mostly a guess, drawn from how often you watched him today," he said. "I admit that I find it perhaps a bit odd. But he does seem to have... drive, as you say, and that is promising."
He motioned to indicate her new height. "And how long have you been-changed?" he asked.

'Not very long,' she said. 'A few weeks or so now I guess,' she shrugged a little. 'It doesnt seem like I've been any other way now though. But the transformation was not easy. I felt like I was ill.' she looked at him. 'You? Was it uncomfortable for you to change?'

"Yes, I did get used to it rather quickly," he agreed absently. His tail twitched as he thought back to the sudden, immense pain of his transformation- it had come at a most inopportune time; he'd have preferred not to have witnesses. But there was no need for Aranea to know... "And yes, it was... somewhat uncomfortable."

Aranea nodded; 'Well you look very...well,' she said simply, her face giving nothing away - or so she hoped. Her eyes lowered a little, and she turned her head, watching as the rest of the Court filed out. 'I must go.' she said, loking at him again. 'I have much to do - the laudanum will take time to make, and I must not fail the Majestrix.' she touched him lightly on his left arm. 'I shall see you sometime soon no doubt,' she said, making as to leave.

"As do you," he said. "And I must go as well; there is much to be done before we leave." He paused, then added, "You won't fail." He was sure she wouldn't, sure none of them would. They were all doing their best to meet the expectations of the Majestrix, and he had no doubt they would succeed. "Yes, I'm sure I'll see you soon," he said as she turned to leave.

((Feel free to edit what you need to, I'm not sure about all of the details or how to do this. xd ...*tries anyway*))
Neith crept across away from the Sun Court castle, with her long sword held tightly in one hand. She had one purpose in mind, and that was to go across herself and find her daughter. This was taking too long. She wasn't going to wait any longer.
But the closer she got to the dark Castle, the stranger Neith felt. Her head was light and spinning, she felt weak and odd... and compelled to go in a certain direction. If Neith hadn't felt so strange, she might have found herself comparing it to the drive she'd had to find Filix's window, but she couldn't make the connection. Step by step, Winny vanished from her mind and the urge to go towards something took over. Neith's sword was dropped and forgotten as she crossed the half-way mark between the lands.
After a long walk, Neith found herself wandering through an odd courtyard. It made her blood run dry, it looked dead and fallen apart. Statues stared at her through sightless eyes, expressions frozen into grimaces or manic smiles.
Neith headed east, towards the entrance doors to the castle. She pushed both doors open, entering into the Moon Court's Inner Sanctum.
The sunlight that had dimly lit the dead-like outdoor area didn't seem to go further than a few inches into this place. It was dark like night, the air cold and forbidden. Yet it seemed to appeal to something in Neith, made a shiver go down her spine and her heart race.
Neith's skin went up in goose bumps. But she hadn't found anyone to tell her to leave, and in her odd daze, Neith didn't feel like turning back, and she started in a direction, her feet sending echoes around her. Any signs of life were completely ignored now, she'd spotted a single stained glass window in the Inner Sanctum.
Kneeling in front of it on the black marble floor, Neith's hands reached out to very gently touch the cold surface of the bat that was hanging upside down in front of a dark castle.

"Do you, Neith, give freely of your spirit and essence, to free Pteryx, daughter of ---- and ---, of her dread curse?"
With a small nod, Neith whispered without a thought to the window. "Yes."
Her words seemed to hang in the deathly quiet air, and Neith felt oddly like she'd lost something then and there. But in her state, she barely cared, her eyes fixated on the bright orange eyes of the bat in the window.
A glow started to come from behind the window, bright like sunlight, but it only lasted a few seconds, enough to blind Neith so that she was unable to see. While she blinked and tried to get her eyesight back, the body of a child seemed to spill out from the light onto the ground, the girl curled up and hiding in her wings.

Once the light had dimmed enough to allow Neith's blinded eyes to return back to normal, she saw a tiny body of someone with thick leathery bat wings wrapped around them, the head tucked inside away from the light with only thick orange hair poking out the top. An ear poked out from the dark cape-like covering, then a second ear, both twisting around. Then a head followed it, orange eyes blinking slowly at Neith. But they shut as quickly as they'd opened when the little girl saw the sunlight.
Neith hurried over to shut the doors to the dark room, and as her eyes adjusted to the light, she heard a low hum... then the girl's voice.
"What happened?" Pteryx's bat wings uncurled one by one, and she climbed onto unsteady legs, one hand firmly clinging to the wall beside her. She'd asked the question, but Pteryx already partly knew the answer... she asked anyway though, ignoring what she'd heard from the window all those long years. "Who are you?"
"Neith, and I don't know." Neith replied, but she was nervous now, and glanced around in the dark room. Were people around?

New RP Session.
Pteryx hummed as she hurried through halls that were now, after much tracing over and practicing, well know. She was heading for the place her window had been, partly to see if she could finally see Majestrix Nox and partly because it was the entrance to the castle. Pteryx wanted to see if she could meet the other Moon Court fey, and maybe even that other girl that she'd seen briefly.
Once she'd reached the Inner Sanctum, Pteryx took a seat on the cold marble, and trusted her sensitive ears to hear footsteps and approaching others.

Coughing at the dust, Luciel rounded another corner that was eeriely the same as the last. Was she lost? Carrying Dionaea in her arms, the Kthian squinted in the darkness. Why did it have to be so darn hard to see in here? Finally, she reached an open area. Sniffing the air curiously, Lu set Dionaea down.
"Open." stated the Venus Flytrap Fey. An open area, yes. Was anyone here?

The footsteps caught Pteryx's attention first, they were slightly heavier than what was normal. They weren't fey's footsteps, fey being light stepped even at the worst of times. So, it was either a human with a fey, or a heavier than normal human?
The two sets of breathing answered that question, and Pteryx brightened. Maybe this meant another child was around, someone that needed carrying?
The first voice that Pteryx then heard was that of a very small child. Standing, Pteryx made her way in the direction that she'd last heard them.
"Hello? Who's there?" Pteryx saw the human...? Was she that? And the very young fey in her arms, a little chubby girl that was no older than two. Addressing the fey first, as Pteryx had been taught, she told her,"I'm Pteryx, who are you?"

Dionaea looked up in the darkness, hearing someone. Her first instinct was to listen. Pteryx? Was she a Fey? Dionaea couldn't see her, but instead answered her blindly. "Dionaea."
"Hello?" Luciel called into the darkness. Who was Di talking to? Was is another window-child? She took a few steps forward, brushing the hair around her goat's horns.

"Dion....Dionaea..." Pteryx tried the name out, it sounded vaugely familiar. Most names did though, even though it'd been so long. "And who is your kithain?"
Pteryx could see clearly now that she was talking, and could see that the others were having trouble seeing. It didn't bother her, and she didn't do anything to help. There was some sort of odd pleasure in seeing a kithain blind.

Luciel could definately smell whomever it was that was talking. Pteryx, was it? Sniffing the air again, the mancubus turned towards the Fey. She could not see her, but she could face her general direction.
"Kithain? That would be me, I think..." she trailed off. She wanted to know how the window -children interacted, so she stayed quiet.
Dionaea simply listened. Pteryx sounded older, and much wiser, than she was. But, what was she? What was her totem?
(( Sorry about the wait. I had to go look for my cat. XD ))

((I hope it's okay if I jump in here...We're just on our way back to Procyon's chambers...))
Walking down the long, dark hallway, Sizzla could hear her feet echo in the distance. Up ahead, Procyon was half-walking, half-prowling on all fours, moving ever closer to her chambers. Sizzla could tell that the child was tired, but she remained focused and quick, even though her body was wearing out.
Procyon lurked along the hallways, cautious to anyone who may be around. Then she heard it. Voices. She stopped dead in her tracks, listening to what she was hearing. Were they Fey? She turned to Sizzla and motioned for her to follow behind, and then scampered on into a large room off to the left.
Sizzla trusted Procyon's sense of where she was and what was going on. Finally, she too could hear the voices up ahead. She heard what was definitely a human voice, and then two more child-like voices. As she caught up with Procyon, she was standing in the doorway of the Inner Sanctum, it's walls lined in stained glass, each window containing a totem, like Procyon's raccoon. She saw the other woman standing there, looking a bit confused. Then, she saw the two Fey children. "Hello there!" she called out into the half-darkness. "I'm new around here, and I'm glad I've finally seen someone!" She wiped the sweat off of her brow, and moved farther into the room, holding Procyon's hand as the pair walked in together.

Turning her head, suprised, Lu sniffed the air again. Two more, and one definately had fur. Some small rodent, she thought. Turning her body in the scent's general direction, she managed a blind wave.
"Hello! I can't see you, but you're more than welcome. To me, anyway..."
Dionaea's ears perked. She heard someone else, very small, coming into the Inner Sanctum. Were those wings fluttering? She got the distinct impression that another Fey was here as well! More people to meet, and more stories to tell! The Venus Flytrap was very happy, indeed.
"New Fey!" she cried happily.

"Oh good, I felt so lost here all by myself..." Sizzla shuffled toward the voice, her hand gripping Procyon's. She was a little afraid of what she'd find when the others came out of the darkness. She hadn't know what to expect since arriving at the Castle.
Procyon heard the little voice call out, and she couldn't help but respond. She could hear the slight fluttering of wings, and knew that it was another Fey. A huge smile broke across her face, as Procyon was happy for the first time since the curse had been broken. Her normally happy demeanor had all but faded since she had been trapped by the curse, but now, she was free to be herself again.
"Hihi!" she shouted into the semi-darkness. "Pro-cyonnn! Who you?" Her sentences were simple, but they did get the point across. Procyon pulled her hand from Sizzla's grasp, and she ran on all fours toward the voice, wanting to see who was there. Sizzla followed behind her, ready to see the faces behind the voices...
