It's just...locked. There's no light from under the door, and you don't hear anything inside.

"Mrf, this doors locked guys." He announced to anyone within hearing range, wiggling the doorknob a little more forcefully to see if it was budge.
He was stubborn okay.

But after a moment however, Remi feels a small shock, just hard enough to make him let go of the door handle.

He took his hand back, glared at the door. "This jacking thing shocked me!" Narrowing his eyes, he decided to one up the door and kick it before backing away mumbling something about doors.

The vibration from the kick shakes the door - and the wall, apparently - and makes a small piece of ceiling plaster fall right between Remi's ears.

Aurel nodded toward Pachua when he said he was going to try and wash the scent off of him. Probably a good idea, all things considered. “You could have also used the bathrooms in the other room,” he reminded the other boil, “It had soap.” It didn’t look like anything was going to attack him in the shower and, so, when he heard Remi cry out about electrocuting doors he shook his head. “Coming!”
Still clutching the key, Aurel went toward the door and frowned. “Shocked, huh? Locked?” Obviously, since the door was still closed. Aurel tried to see if the key he had would fit that door’s lock as well just to appease Remi.

"It's locked." A small, squeaky voice announces; it's the Gas-Mask wearing Fracs, sitting behind both Aurel and Remi.

“I noticed,” Aurel said as he pulled the key from the lock. “But a key unlocks things.” His attention went to the Fracs. He needed to be polite to this thing. It was keeping them prisoner, as far as he knew. Aurel knelt down to get more on level with the creature, not sure how to approach it. “Does this key unlock any other doors?” It was a long shot, but it hadn’t disappeared right away, so maybe it was open to talking. Who knew.

Remi all but huffed and crossed his arms like a spoiled brat as Aurel tried to open the door and was not shocked. What made him so special? His ears were pinned back as he shook the newest piece of plaster that landed there off his head.
The addition of the voice though, made him look behind him. It was their talking minipet buddy. "I think Aurel it might be best if we tried the doors ourselves. Didn't the little dude there say it was up to us to get out VIA teamwork?" Remi didnt wait for an answer as he approached the next door, just a little further down. He tried to turn the doorknob for room 202 next. He was ready to let go if this door also held surprises.

"Yes, but sometimes you have to be willing to ask questions to get where you need to be. " Amrita had essentially taught him it was okay to ask questions. Aurel was not above it to try and get as much information as he possibly could in order to go home.

"Nope! Any key you find will only be able to open one door, and it'll tell you which one it is." The Fracs explained, speaking very slowly. If Aurel noticed, the NOPE on the key is identical to the NOPE that had been on the door - at least, the shapes were the same.lilwolfpard He tried to turn the doorknob for room 202 next.
You look at the paper, which reads:

Pachua finally satisfied that the showers worked more effectively than the bathroom sinks, with or without soap and a great deal of scrubbing, emerged, shaking out his wings to shed the last of the damp thanks to the fine natural oils spread across his feathers. His clothes were saturated but that wasn’t so bad, at least not at the moment.
“You alright Remi? I heard something about a sh…ock.” He hesitated blinking at the plaster dust still in Remi’s hair and the petulant look on his face.
Still, the sight of all the food beyond, that was interesting. “I’ll um…hmm… should I check another room or help you check out the pantry?” he offered.
He wandered cautiously towards Room 207 - and checked the door handle.

"… h…Hey Remi?" He called back, staring down at the light flickering under the door. "…Guys?" He added more generically,
"T-… um… I think there is someone in this room." He said glancing back over his shoulder.
"Hello? He called, trying the handle again to see if it was fully locked or lightly locked. Even knowing that Remi had been shocked by a previous door it seemed worth the risk. Wasn't this, after all, worth the risk if it was the source of the loud bang he'd heard. Clearly that noise had wanted to garner attention, or…
Or perhaps… well he'd rather not think about the 'or perhaps' because it might mean there was another body inside as a worst case scenario.

The door remains closed and locked tight. It looks like you need a key to open it.
