Since Pacha herself is shy around a LOT of people, unless they are in need of some sort of help, perhaps something could have happened to either isolate the two of them together for a while (sudden thunderstorm forcing them to take shelter in a cave together that lasts for a day or so) and/or Eva needing some sort of care: though the blood-like/bloody markings would likely spurr Pacha to try and help (though if told they're markings she'd likely squeak an awknowledgement and hide as much as she can behind her short bangs lol! Plot ideas: Their personalities just seemed so similar, I'd really be interested in seeing how they interacted with each other. Maybe both would be too difficult to ever get anywhere with each other, but I could definitely imagine a sort of passionate, headstrong meeting between the two of them. And maybe, as Eya grows and matures into herself, she could find herself mellowing out somewhat and grow to truly enjoy his presence. It was actually pretty close, but in the end I just thought the idea of friendship and possible heartbreak sweet and the fact that, colors wise, he reminds her of her future mate, that helped cinch the deal. (though she would try her darndest to try and help him with his heartache. I don't know if Ende would be open up to them being poly, either officially or unofficially, however, so I don't think that is quite an option for Anjanas.. But she could try to play wingman. She's pretty good at it -- she's already got wings)
HOWEVER.... If any of the rest of you want to be included in the plot somehow, I am willing for you to have a mockbreeding with your offered Flutterstallion and Anjanas... And we can just claim they were surrogations lined up for the occasional request of the parents (or... Cardiac A group of medicines extracted from foxglove plants are called Digitalin. The use of D. purpurea extract containing cardiac glycosides for the treatment of heart conditions was first described in the English-speaking medical literature by William Withering, in 1785, which is considered the beginning of modern therapeutics. It is used to increase cardiac contractility (it is a positive inotrope) and as an antiarrhythmic agent to control the heart rate, particularly in the irregular (and often fast) atrial fibrillation. Eager for knowledge and friends, though his vanity may be objectionable. Bold and impulsive, yet polite, and much more silly than he knows. (Longer description may be found in my teepee here). Mate or Fling: Fling RP, plot, or looks only?: Background plotting; roleplay is fine if you don’t mind it being slow. Right now, I seem to be faster with AIM RP, but guild RP is fine, too.
Plot ideas: Like Noemonni, Garland occasionally goes through periods of hallucinations. The personality given applies mainly while he’s lucid; at other times, he loses his conscious self (or, to be more specific, it gets distracted with fantastical hallucinations) and he depends mainly on his subconscious. No thought is given to the past or the future; he acts on the moment, relying on familiar words and motions that his subconscious remembers, almost as if he’s acting on instinct. He becomes more impulsive than usual and even a little crude, though his core personality won’t change.
As a child, these episodes were rare. However, he goes through an unusually long one at the cusp of adulthood, where he’s involved in two almost-murders. Later on, he wakes up far from home and finds himself in a desert, with no idea as to what happened save for the dried blood on his hooves and belly. Fearing the worst, he goes on a quest to find out what he’s done and if his hallucinations are curable. He falls for a mare who helps him with his quest and they become mates.
If the fling happens, it would take place during his unusually long episode.
With Noemonni: - It’s possible his meeting her is what causes his hallucination to last so long this time around (because of her cloud). - She could be hallucinating as well when they meet and they have a quick fling, with none really aware of who the other is when they become lucid again. - If she’s lucid, they could find some common ground with their experiences (though Garland would not consciously realize he’s going through a hallucination at that moment – he would just come off a bit strange, with speech similar to the text of a stream-of-consciousness book) and let hormones and mutual affection take care of the rest. xD - If you want something more involved, they could have met as children or adolescents and meet again during this plot. As a youth, he was a lot more vain and even prejudiced against “weird” people, but considering most of his interactions were with mutants, he grew out of that by adolescence haha. His father wasn’t around and his mom suffered the same hallucinations as him, so he often wandered by himself. They could have spent a lot of time with one another, and grown afraid together as well since it looks like both of their episodes became more frequent and stronger with age. - Whether he realizes he had children with her is up for discussion. If they meet, he would try to do right by his children, especially if they weren’t full-grown by the time he found them, but in the end he’ll be with his future mate-to-be.
