 ~ Public Marketplace, City of Elgrat, Elgrat Province ~ Oh no, where did the little fuzzy go?! Dodger, did she call him? I wonder if that was a name or a title...? Oh, well... Peril sighs, and reaffixes her cape and pin. "I apologize, Lara, of course I should have been more respectful of your extradimensional customs. I didn't mean to try to headhunt your adorable furry employee! Besides, this clasp isn't mine to offer, it's standard issue equipment for my job. Without it, I might accidentally crush myself or others, or send us all shooting off into the stars above! Can you just imagine the lawsuits?!" Peril somehow visibly pales, then whispers... "One more and I'll get demoted!"She recovers almost instantly, though, grinning and clapping her hands together. "Do let me know if you decide not to renew your Dodger's contract though! I bet he would make just the most precious looking Task Mage! Can't you just picture him in this uniform?", Peril says, twirling in place and striking the official Photogenic Magical Girl Salute, then smiling brightly and winking. Tiny sparkling stars appear and do a little dance around her, then disappear. Nearby Elgrat adult citizens start giving the group a noticably wider berth, but some small children cheer and applaud, then imitate her to each other with obviously well-practiced accuracy...

Kj blinked as JC hid behind her, not entirely sure how to respond, and was about to open her mouth and say something when Lara's question caught her attention. "Gnosis? What's gnosis? Is it like magic, or energy, or something like that?" She looked at the woman - wow, she just kept on getting prettier - then tapped the watch on her wrist, causing a small holographic ring to appear in the air above it, which she then proceeded to stick her hand into, making the hand itself vanish as it did not come out on the other side of the ring. "I'm not entirely sure what I have of theirs, but I'm sure I've got something." She mumbled, a look of concentration on her face as her hand rummaged somewhere inside the ring, then she shot a glance in Captain's direction. "I don't suppose you've got any readings on things..?" She raised an eyebrow as she gave him a questioning look, and he shook his head.
"I'm afraid not. For some reason, this world dulls my senses - right now I cannot sense anything outside this continent. It's as if all the continents themselves have walls, in lack of a better way of explaining it." A small frown tugged at his forehead as he gave a light wave of his hand, then holding it up in front of him as he looked at something - or someone - no one else could see. "Though I am certain that the continent we are currently on does not hold any of the things we seek, so I advice we head elsewhere." Another light wave of his hand created a light green, transparent crystal above his hand, trapping the invicible creature inside it, which he then handed over to Lara without a word, and Kj raised another questioning eyebrow at that - though she decided not to ask about it. Then she blinked as her attention caught distracted by twinkling stars, and she just turned her head and stared at Peril, a look of awe on her face. "Wow, that was awesome. Can you do it again?" The sound of Captain clearing his throat - yet again - Kj winced and returned her attention to finding whatever it was she was searching for inside the ring.
"Aha!" Pulling out her hand, Kj gave a satisfied smile as she inspected the deck of cards she had found inside the ring. "Hold this." She said, holding it out to JC, whom took the cards with a confused look on his face as Kj stuck her hand back into the ring, pulling out a triforce necklace and a small card with a rune on it, handing them both to JC. Tapping the watch again, the ring disappeared, and she turned to JC and took back the things before turning to Lara. "The cards belong to my sister, Aria, the necklace belongs to my guildie, Gina, whom, by the way, does not know I borrowed it and she really doesn't need to know that I did cause she'll skin me alive, and the rune card belongs to Agi. Those are the three missing guildies I'm looking for. And," she looked over at Captain. "if what you say is true, then none of them are here in winter wonderland." Letting out a sigh, she scratched the back of her neck before looking over at Peril. "How do we leave this place? You said something about going somewhere earlier, but I've already forgotten what that was." She gave her a blank look, making it very apparent that she had, indeed, forgotten.
JC blinked as he looked between the people there - he really had no idea who they were or what was going on - not entirely sure what to make of the situation. "Uhm, what's the dealio here? I'm confused." Kj jumped at the sound of his words - she had already forgotten he was hiding behind her - then turned to look at him. "Are you from Malkresh?" He just blinked at her. "What's a Malkresh?" At that, Kj just gave a nod and grabbed hold of his sleeve, a determined look on her face as she turned to look at the others. "Then you're coming with us! One down - forces only know how many to go. So, let's go!"
(OOC: Yes, Captain just trapped Dodger inside a crystal. XD
And you guys can go ahead and move things along and have the party head away from Elgrat if you want~
I don't really have any set plans for what direction this RP is going to take, as I created Malkresh with the idea that YOU guys are the ones in charge.
Whatever you want to RP, is what you'll get to RP, just so you know~

Having finally arrived in the small town of Pelio - a town that was, quite obviously, the home of mages of all kinds - Gina, Sin and Jaketherian managed to find their way to the nearest inn, where Jaketherian made it clear that he wanted to stay for a while. With Sin keeping him company, Gina headed out to try and get some information on where they were and what was going on, which led to her finding her way to the local Mage's Guild, where she hoped she would get the help she needed.

lara looked at the fay girl rumbling with a lifter brow and a wide smile. she seemed kinda wacky that one, but she had good spirits and lara liked that. she snorted when a contract with dodger was mentioned.
"pfft. a contract? do you think that assrat would honor any contract? as if. he is in it for the nosis really. he is a free spirit. feel free to try and bribe him your side any time you like, I don't mind. just don't let the bugger fool ya. if you give him stuff for free he will ask 10 times more when you actually want to make him do something helpful for a change. needs some hard love, that one. feel free to dress him up though" and with that lara sent perils a very conspiratorial grin. "I'll help holding him down while you put them on"
as kj started fiddling with her watch, Lara was looking curiously at the portal ring thingy she summoned. it reminded her of things the theorges and galiards used to summon weapons mid fight. not alphas though, she thought with a snort. they where way too a** headed to do anything as complicated. the portal kj used though felt different though, and also looked different, sharper and angular shaped - lara have never seen spells of that kind before. wonder what source she drew them from? she was about to try and touch the portal when mr.white passed something her way. she instinctively took hold of it, only to find a comically horrified looking dodger frozen inside a crystal. she barked a laugh at that, tossing the crystelized dodger up in the air, recatching out and shoving it inside one of the pockets in her cape.
she gave mr.white - captain was it? captain of what? captain of the shiny? a good calculating look. "neat trick you got there! kinda feels right the lil greedy assfuzz would find a cage in one of them damn shinies he keeps running about. I guess now he has all the shiny he can ask for right?" then she stepped closer to captain, and after mumbling a bit about something that sounded like how tall people are only good for being closer to luna so they can better kiss her a**, she stood on her tiptoes and whispered in his ear so dodger could not by any chance listen in "just remember to tell me how to hmm, uncristlize? him later ya? after he spends some time up and close with that damn shiny he likes so much that is. hopefully that would teach him. good job, btw" and with that she balanced back on her heels, gave captain a brotherly pat on the shoulder and turned back to kj while peril was still posing around with the left overs of her sparkly fay - stuff. it was kinda cool. lara would have to ask her later of she could sparkle this stuff and make it sting when the sparks hit skin. could be a neat trick to learn. will sure make some royal silverfang parties more fun to attend at least. with all the ******** shine and glitter normally going on there no one will notice some extra speciel serving of fay a**-itching sparks.
she listened to kj's description of the items, nodding as she went by to show she understood. she took the offered items and gave them a sniff - letting the smell float inside her for a bit.
"you seriously asking me that? you don't know what nosis is? you must know it by some other name than as you obviously know how to use it - that neat storage space of yours must be activated by the use of nosis right? I mean, this place is practically overflowing with it"
she sniffed the items again after she felt she had familiarized the smell enough, though she could sense nothing of it in the area.
"argh! I can't smell anything useful damn useless humid forms. if it had thumbs I'd stay lopus all the time!" and with an exasperated sigh, she gave the items back to kj and took a step back.
lara took a deep breath, swirling the nosis around her, then swirling and twisting the nosis that made her what she was. and with that her body started to twist and turn, bones reshaping and becoming longer, silver glowing fur growing on the few visible places where lara's skin was open to the air. the cape she was wearing was changing as well, the stitches morphing and rearranging themselves to fit snugly on the new form. after a few moments of that, in laras place stood a white - silver wolf, it's fur long and flowing. it seemed to be pure pale silver, though when light broke upon the fur pale blue runes could be seen lining the wolf's body. the eyes, eerily, looked just like lara's eyes, big and silver. what did seem out of place among the gleaming silver was a big, furless scar that could be seen starting from under the wolf's chin, going down and disappearing under the body armor that covered most of the wolfs belly.
oh. and the wolf was about as big as a war horse.
lara shook her head, enjoying the feeling of air on fur, and stepped closer to kj again, sniffing at the objects she held, and giving a frustrated snarl
"nope, they are not anywhere around here I am afraid , at least not as far as I can tell. it IS possible that they are using nosis to hide their signature from being found, do you think they would do that"?
