Yvette chuckled. What in the world would make him think that she could say no. It they had a little girl then all hell was lose in the palace. "We'll see. I know you'll be a great father." She knew it for sure. Let them just hope they didn't have a child who acted like Yvette did as a child. ~~~~~ Elendil could only hope that too. He had the elvish world on his shoulders and was one of the most gone after bachelors in the world. Yvette being the former most wanted woman in the world. The prince wrapped one arm around her waist and another held her hand. It was best not to act too friendly to a woman who had her father only feet away. ~~~~~~ Rose thought for a moment. "I figured you'd say something like that. The note wont work, but I'll do my best to hold him up for as long as I can." The halfling said with a wink. She was super sure that she could do what was needed of her. ((Post in whatever spot that you want to find Donny.))

Still wondering what fatherhood was truly like, it helped calm his nerves on the matter when she sounded so absolute regarding his ability to be a parent. "And you'll be the best mother." he told her with a grin. That meant a lot, especially when he admired his own parents and how well they've handled raising himself and his brothers. "So much has happened today." he said softly, the back of his hand trailing softly down her cheek. He smiled, resting his forehead against her's as he added, "But I am so happy that you finally agreed to marry me. I love you, Vetty."
Allowing Elendil to wrap an arm around her waist, she was pleased to find that he was indeed a good dancer. Obviously, he was given a good education on all manner of things as the crown prince, but dancing was something that required a certain kind of talent. Still, he was a polite gentleman, although Lucy wasn't sure if that was due to his reserved nature or the fact that her father was nearby. "Do you enjoy dancing, Prince Elendil?" she asked curiously, wondering what sort of activities he used as past-times and which of his lessons he found boring.
Considering the note for a moment longer, she agreed with Rose. If the halfing didn't believe it would work, then Lyn knew better than to disagree. Crumpling up the paper to discard, she chanced one more glance to her glorified babysitters. "Thank you, Rose. I will repay you for this chance." She gave the girl a small smile, resisting a hug in case it would make it obvious that she was about to leave. "Someday you'll fall so hard in love it'll make you stupid too." She glanced to Yvette, wishing that she could say goodbye; she supposed an apology would he owed later. Turning away from the crowd, she took the route to the bathroom first. After stripping out of her dress, she stuffed the clothing in her bag before changing into her wolf form. It was a mildly painful process, but the transformation was over quickly. Holding the bag's strap between her teeth, she left the church, running towards the grotto.

Yvette loved her husbands touch. "I got really scared." Yvette admitted. She was very rarely frighten by anything. This was a girl who found a snake wrapped around her arm one time and slipped out of it with not a second thought. "I didn't want to end up like my parents. They were so blind to see their duty over love and Papa married the wrong woman. I don't want to have that regret that I married the wrong man." Yvette's biggest fear was that. "And I didn't want our children to grow up in a split household where the parents fought over stupid things just because one had to be right over the other. One where the child had to chose who they liked better, but didn't want to hurt either's feelings." A tear escaped Yvette. That was all over she had Caesar for real now. He was her Prince Charming who came to rescue her from her terrible childhood. ~~~~~~~~ Elendil smiled at the girl. He didn't think that he really enjoyed dancing that much. He thought of it as boring. "Not really. I enjoy art more. I like creating natural scenes like that of a person doing natural things without direction or that of the landscape." He answered her. ~~~~~~~~~ Marcus waited for Lyn. After five minutes he let out a growl as Rose came by. "What's up?" The girl asked. The dragon looked at his cousin. "How long do women take?" He demanded. Rose let out a smile. "Well if they go in with their friend then it takes a bit." "She didn't." "Did it look like she was upset?" "Almost smiling." "Fake smile or real smile." "It looked happy." "I could check the bathroom, but she may have escaped." The dragon straightened up. " Check." Rose walked into to the bathroom. She mad sure to give it a good minute or two before coming out and confirming it. Marcus took a look around and decided to let Elendil have his fun before leaving.

It was silly to think that Yvette could be afraid of anything. Her homeland had a civil war and she was still strong, and it was her charm that was slowly winning over the people, even the most traditional folk. As she spoke of her fears, he listened. It was all something he had realized years ago, but this was the first time he had ever heard her say it. The King and his wife were liked, but Caesar always knew that the match was purely political. The Irish sirens were a strong addition to the kingdom, but love was supposed to be the Siren's way. "Our home will never be like that." he told her softly, his thumb moving to wipe away a tear. "Our home will be based on love before anything else. I promise."
While art had always been a more difficult subject for her, Lucy appreciated it wholly. Entire civilizations could be understood from their art, making her wish on several occasions that she was better at the task. "I would love to see some of your work." she told him truthfully. She had a feeling that it would be very good, perhaps on the level of her mother.

Yvette smiled and gave her husband a long and passionate kiss on the lips. There would be many more in the future for him. Yvette didn't want Caesar to become like her father, a man who couldn't he a lover to a person that he loved or a real father to his children and Yvette didn't want to become like her mother. Yvette was not going to push over and give up on love just because she could be with someone. "I think I have a way to win over a nice chunk of those who still don't want me to be queen." She commented. "Maybe alluding to my upbringing could help win some hearts over." Yvette was proving that she was a great politician. "I should tell them that we sirens have fallen when someone can't marry the person they love because of making the people who aren't in their lives happy. I would then make promises to keep up some traditional things." That would at least strike a cord with a few people who would realize that is what happened. It would give her a traditional look on this since it was the siren way to be lovers not slaves. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I have some in my bag." He informed the prince before playing dancing his way with her to the bag he left in the corner. Once there they released each other from their grips and Elendil pulled out an art book for charcoal. The man flipped through a few pages. One even had his sister as the main subject. He made her look so beautiful and elegant, probably more than she really was.

As always, Yvette's kiss stole his breath. He smiled beneath it, loving every feeling she gave him. When it ended, he played idly with her hair, a habit he had picked up during even their first date. Releasing a lock, he listened to her speak, proud of her abilities to find the weaknesses in the opposing side. "That's brilliant." he told her, well aware that if she pointed out true tradition, political marriages would end. Sirens loved love; it was an idea they searched and fought for. So why had the royal family been and exception to this for centuries? If one were to ask the current king, or any before him, he would say duty. But duty was not the Siren's way. Love was the very reason Seth had become king. Love was the cause of Victor's abdication. "When we return home, you should speak with the small council." Granted, they would be spending some time in Japan, but politics hardly moved forward so fast that they would miss any opportunities.
Allowing Elendil to lead their dance away from the crowd, they stepped apart as he found his bag. Curiously, she watched him pull out an art book, and it quickly became clear that he used charcoal often. He flipped through many pages, each one better than the last. When a page portraying his sister came up, she nearly lost her breath. It was so beautiful, and she could feel the princess' elegance through the lines and smudges across the paper. With a small smile, Lucy told him, "This is all so amazing." It felt more real than any of her mother's work, which was something she never thought she would say.

Yvette smiled. She would probably jolt down some notes while on their honeymoon and write a nice speech when they got home. She now had the perfect husband at her side to win people over. "Good idea. We can get things going fast. Maybe create a cultural center to hit home that we are proud sirens." The woman said making plans to win people over. ~~~~~~ Elendil smiled. "Thank you my lady." He said with a grin. He was proud of his art work and he had been working a long time to develop his art. He didn't like any other classes in high school and he didn't go to college, but did private tutors to help him.

The brilliance behind Yvette's plan was cunning. Those words would shame the traditionalists, who would no longer be able to say that her claim was illegitimate, or else appear like hypocrites. Kissing the top of her head, he hugged her for a moment before adding, "You're perfect. Beautiful, smart, and courageous." his wife would make the best Queen, already a survivor of war and family.
Returning Elendil's grin, she continued to flip through the pages. She studies many, and told him, "Your work is better than my mother's." the Irish Queen had long ago chosen art as her pastime, and she did many works for charities and her people, but Elendil's works had a certain quality that could not be taught. Every member of her family was expected to choose a pastime, with the exception of Yvette, who had enough on her plate. But Lucy had long ago decided that dancing was worth her time, just as her younger brother had chosen the piano.

Yvette chuckled at her husbands words. "So are we just figuring this out?" She teased him. "Don't forget stubborn in there." She added. "Lets pray that our baby does adopt his or her stubbornness from me. Least I let you deal with all the child rearing." That would be a horror for the woman if her children ended up having that negative quality about them. ~~~~~~ Elendil didn't think his art was that great. Then again he didn't show many people his art very often. "Everyone has his or her own style. I'm sure your mother is good in her own way." The man commented as he flipped to other pages. Some of the images were of the Western woods and some were of his family like a little girl sitting on his brother-in-laws lap. "I like drawing people the most."

Grinning, Caesar chose to go along with her teasing by telling her, "If our child gains your stubbornness, then it will be your genetic fault and therefore you will have to deal with it." He chuckled, well aware that such a personality trait could be useful, but he remembered just how troublesome Yvette was as a child and hoped that history wouldn't repeat itself in that manner.
Several songs had passed, but Caesar hadn't been paying much attention through their conversation. Absently, he looked over to his family, who were still speaking with Yvette's parents. His mother had to round up his youngest brothers, and the Queen was clearly preparing Nathan to leave. Most of the reporters had left, but there were a handful that were determined to get every last shot and clever quotes from guests. "I think our honeymoon will get to begin soon." he told her quietly.
Still studying the pages as they were shown, Lucy dismissed his comment. She liked her mother's work, but it felt more stilted. The prince's art felt loose and free, as if he drew from pure enjoyment. Lingering on a page portraying his homeland, she smiled faintly. From his work, she thought the land looked beautiful, although she had no memory to compare it to; the princess had never visited the elf's land. Various other pages had family and the like, and those were all on an even higher level. It was no surprise when he spoke again, stating that he preferred to draw people. Looking up from the art book, she took advantage of how close they stood by meeting his gaze while she asked, "Have you ever drawn a siren?" her expression and tone were slightly flirtatious, but that was something to be blamed on her race's usual demeanor. What was strange was that she had chosen to ignore her diplomatic duties for her homeland's habit instead.

Yvette was surprised too. She couldn't believe they had danced that long. At the same time it was with Caesar. She was with Caesar. The woman pulled away and notice her family getting ready to leave. "We'll let Lucy handle this and skip right to it." ~~~~~~ The flirt that Lucy had sent towards Elendil escaped him and he took it more of a serious question. "No. I don't think I have, but I have wonderful memories of this wedding so I may recreate some of them from my memory." He answered her with a gentle smile.

Nodding in agreement to Yvette's words, he stepped back, settling for holding his wife's hand as they approached their families. The last of the media swarmed as they spoke to their parents, snapping up pictures as everyone exchanged more hugs and congratulations.
The fact that Elendil seemed to miss her point did nothing to detour Lucy, who was enjoying the game more than the prospective prize. Perhaps a younger siren would have been surprised by his clear lack of knowledge behind flirting, and they might have even slipped up, but at her age and level, she was able to continue smoothly. Her finger tips trailed along the bottom of a page in his art book, slowly enough that he might not notice, and careful enough that she wouldn't smudge and of the charcoal. "All from memory?" she asked with admiration in her tone, her fingers reaching the end and brushing lightly against his hand. "I could help you remember certain details." she offered, a faint smile on her face. After letting her gaze flicker across the room, she was reassured that nobody was paying attention to their corner of the room. Even if someone were to look over, they were mostly covered by shadow and random objects. Lightly, she took his hand in her own, leading it back to her side and placing it as it had been when they were dancing. Once on her hip, she guided his hand up along her waist to ribs and back again, letting him feel her curves before she told him, "It's easy to forget some things."

Yvette walked with her husband towards their families. She turned to her father first. "Hey dad. We did this in a rush and I was wondering where we're going to live." She said with a smile. She was sure that she could trust her father to help out with this. She then turned to Nathan and gave him a thumbs up. Finally she turned to her in-laws and thanked them for coming and left kisses on the cheeks of her new mother and father. She turned to her husband. "Should we tell them?" She asked him. ~~~~~~ Elendil still didn't get Lucy's moment. He thought it was some friendly gesture. "Yes I can do it from memory. I may forget the details, but the memory is what is important." He said with a smile. The Elf leaned down and hugged her gently. "I probably should get going. I don't see Lyn or Marcus anywhere." He told the girl as he pulled away.

Seth turned away from his talk with his wife, looking at Yvette as she spoke. "I had assumed the castle." he told her with a smile, one hand motioning to her stomach as he added quietly, "With all that's been going on, I thought your new family would be safest there." It was clear that he was concerned about threats, but he hadn't wanted to worry unnecessarily about it all during the wedding. Once it was resolved, he gave her another hug, kissing her forehead before letting her approach Caesar's parents.
Once they had stepped up to his parents, Caesar knew that now would be the best time to share the news. The media had all left, meaning that their news would not get leaked before they wanted it to. "Grandma, grandpa, we'll see you in a couple weeks." He had instantly switched to Spanish, grinning as he referred to the older couple as grandparents. It took them a few moments to understand the joke, but once they had both held Yvette in a huge hug. Their excitement was as extravagant as Caeser had warned, and he was slowly growing afraid that one might faint. Luckily, his younger brothers all joined the swarm and helped his parents to sit. Nathan even approached his sister, his face curious as he stared at her stomach. It didn't seem like a baby would fit.
Was it actually possible for Lucianna to lose a round of flirting? She was the second princess born to the Spanish king...and she had lost the game. After a moment of consideration, she decided to right it off as not a loss, but as an unfortunate event in which her partner had not participated. Honestly, she couldn't lose if Elendil wasn't played. Absently, she returned the hug, her thoughts whirring as she decided to crack whatever code was on this man. It didn't matter that he was a crown prince or an elf or even a male; what mattered was that she got a redo in the game. It was actually rather amusing once she got over the shock. Letting the game drop for now, she raisied a brow at his observation of the missing guests. "Hm, maybe they went to the bathroom?" she offered, not a single worry crossing her mind in the matter. Besides, she had a lot of cleaning up to do, and was actually upset that Lyndis would shirk her half of the job.

Yvette was glad that her father wanted her at his home and that Caesar was able to pull his parents off of her. The woman smiled. "I love your son so much that I wanted him to be his or her father." The woman said with grace in her voice. The woman then turned to her brother who was looking at belly. "Nathan you started out the same way." She told her brother. "My belly will be flat for a bit, but then you'll see it grow." ~~~~~~ Elendil was not about go into the girls bathroom. The Elvish prince closed his booklet and put it back into the bag. " May I help you clean? Since they are not back yet I should at least help you a bit." The prince commented as he started to grab things.
