It was an easy enough trade-off really, though looking after a crabby dragon wasn't exactly a picnic, it was at least something to do that didn't involve treasure. Gabby's choice only improved Efflo's mood, and he could almost ignore the sullenness of his request to choose a spot for them to sit. Almost. A bony elbow found its way into Gabby's side, replaced soon after by Efflo's hand in his, dragging him to a row not too close to the front, but definitely not the quiet and dark corner Gabby was hoping for. Efflo intended to watch the movie. "Here okay?" he asked sweetly, though his tone suggested anything but. Of course it would be okay, Gabby didn't have a choice.

It didn't take too long for Aureole's wings to flutter in excitement at the idea of a movie. She loved sitting down and enjoying a good movie here and there. And it just seem that much better with others!
Even for all her anxiousness, she made sure to pick Coraline as her vote before plopping down somewhere comfy to fold her wings and put her hooves up.

" I see!" Amphi nodded as if she understood it completely now. "Okay we should sit here then!" She pulled Lou into the middle of an aisle and plopped her little happy mermaid butt down.
And then bounced in the seat.
"MOVIEEEEEEEEEEEE."

Generally, Argyle preferred to attend these sorts of events from the start of them, to ensure that every single student heard his personal speech regarding the importance of saving humanity both as a species and a culture. Today, however, he had the bright idea of enlisting several Lepuses to aid him in this, under the assumption that they recited things that you taught to them. Like parrots. This was not the case. He looked particularly disgruntled as he stomped into the auditorium, looking for something to hate. A small train of DETH Lepuses trailed behind him, spouting off grossly incorrect facts every now and then, but they were no longer fitting that bill, as he had run out of 'witty' things to say to them. These glitter cutouts, though...they worked nicely. "Ugh, really? We're really perpetuating and improperly projecting the stereotype that all humans imagine us with beeeauuutiful sparkling fleshy bits, huh? Nice." He scoffed, rolled his eyes, and moved along in hopes of finding something else to complain about. Instead, he found Selene - and a student. As he neared her to take the seat on her other side, he extended his arm for her to take if she wanted to, and pretended to pay no attention to the student. He even smiled at her, if only for a short while, before his irritation over almost everything in general set in again. "Sometimes I just don't know what they think they're doing, I just--ugh--put me in charge and..." The words he'd been hissing under his breath devolved into inaudible muttering. He didn't notice.

None of these movies sounded familiar to Thackery, and he failed to read any of the information about that this was or why this was to figure out why they didn't. He still wanted to help out by selecting one, though, so he cheerfully selected the one about weddings ( Corpse Bride) and moved along. There were a lot of familiar friends here! He spotted Amrita and Alex nearby, and bounded in their direction, sloppily flopping across both of their laps when he made it to them. "Cooouuuncil," he purred, in his attempt to be amusingly suave, as well as a dog could. Which was not very well, unsurprisingly.

Alex gave Amrita a sidelong glance as she settled down next to him. "I don't know why I'm here." He said, his voice flat, his usual cheery demeanour completely non-existent for the moment. "I killed a hunter." Nothing said hello like that opening statement. He did, at least, lower his voice to say it. And then suddenly Thack had joined them. Alexander gave him a tight smile and said no more about the hunter thing.

(( Tie Breaker: 1 - corpse bride // 2 - jurassic park )) The slime demon, busy in some sort of Human ethics and responsibilities argument with Selene, finally looked up, just in time for him to snag the last sheet of paper from those assembled. There was a rather sizable gathering, and it took him a moment longer to file through the sheets, appendages sweating every moment of it, and come to a conclusion.
"We will be watching Jurassic Park tonight! I personally would have picked something better, or at least more introspective about the actual lives of humans instead of this escapist action-packed movie fantasy junk, but then again the pickings were slim because some ghouls and boils-"
- There was a loud cough in the audience-
- "aaaand without further ado, the movie." The screen started flickering, it spluttered a few times, and then the lights dimmed, the show starting up. Some blood-flavoured popcorn was also passed down the aisles. OOC: MOVIE TIME! ONCE AGAIN THIS PART IS OPTIONAL AND YOU DO NOT HAVE TO STAY FOR THE WHOLE DURATION this is just FOR FUN! If you were not around but your character posted in this thread, a summary will be displayed of the movie with any key points the NPCs want to outline, and you can just go from there! MOVIE LIVESTREAM IS GO! exclaim GO HERE to view it! All with a character are invited! IF you didn't post in the RP you can still come to the stream, your character will just have ICly slipped into the viewing room last minute! Once you have loaded the stream go to the chat and hit the little person icon to change your name to YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME @ livestream username. Once you have done so you may begin rping as them! Huzzah! - To RP in the livestream "chat", treat it as if your character was the one viewing the movie white seated. All commentary posted in chat is dialogue your character is saying out loud to everyone within range of all viewers. - To make an action just post "/" in front of it so like /sits down and sleeps or /eats more popcorn or /tenses up, etc just to let people know it's an action - To speak in the chat just literally, type what your character wants to say without the /. By speaking it means anyone else in the stream can also respond to you if they wish! - You don't have to stay the whole movie duration, you can just stay as long as you'd like or hop in and out, whatever you think you and your character can get out of this experience - At the end of the movie (in the stream itself) I will hop in and ask 5 TiH trivia questions for those who were around spectating! The first 5 people to answer these trivia questions will get a deer egg on the minis site or 5 unpainted spring eggs!

Amrita stared at Alex.
"They're not real humans anyway." She managed to say, her voice low, before Thackery slid-flopped onto both their laps. Her hands went up instantly until he had settled, and then she used him as an arm rest.
At least, briefly, she scruffed her fingers through his hair.
"Hi, Thack! Ready to watch some Human Movies?" Her tone was light and friendly, as if the words exchanged with Alex never happened. She gave the zombie a side glance, though; she'd catch him later and ask him about it.

As the movie concluded, Mo, the slime demon, trudged over, covered in bits and pieces of popcorn sticking to his skin (as well as a bucket), tapping on the projector screen twice to make it snap up.
"As you know," he began, extremely huffy, "this was supposed to be a serious movie for serious students only. Imagine the time, the detail, the dedication, put into such a wondrous film, the amount of attention put into understanding these strange, complex Humans. Now, here is what you didn't know. This movie, like many other movies of their kind, was created with the collaboration of Humans and Halloween. Of course we didn't reveal ourselves to them, we simply popped in our disguises and nudged them the right direction. Of course, there are some times when we do create films and work with the Bureau of Safe Halloween Projects to implement our creations to the Human world. This is most definitely the best and safest way to get Fear. No actual Humans were hurt, and the number one thing is that no actual humans were hurt."
A pause and they unpeeled another piece of popcorn off their skin. "Now, we at DETH have prepared equipment for you to film your own movie. This is a friendly competition, and you are trying to create the biggest, baddest, most frightful thing that you think will scare Humans but of course, not actually harm them. A healthy Fear comes from a healthy source!" They waddled over to the display table. "Each of you will be given this spookycam recording device. Please assign yourself to a role. The director will be filming and staging where everyone should stand, as well as what to do. The screenwriter is the person who writes out your film! The actors are the ones who will be playing as creatures or Humans in your movie. And lastly, you will need a sounds person to create all the sound effects. You will be able to use Human Disguise pins for the sole purpose of filming only."
"Once your whole team have gathered together, you will have a whole week to film and create your project! I expect good things from you, wonderful things. There is a signup sheet below which I have divided into four groups. Each group gets a different special piece of equipment their group only gets. Choose your team wisely!"
OOC: MOVIE FILMING GROUPS SIGN UP MOVIE FILMING GROUPS SIGN UP:- Once again if you DIDNT MAKE IT TO THE MOVIE STREAM it is still okay! It is assumed your character has now watched Jurassic Park (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jurassic_Park_(film)) and they can make their own deductions of what they thought about it! If you haven't joined this rp you may STILL DO SO AS WELL! This is the last chance to joint his ORP! - Your character will now get to select ONE of the four group options. Simply have them come up and write which group they want to be with. They will then be confirmed. Also write what role they are going for. Once the groups are confirmed, a project leader in the team will have to pick out roles for everyone and/or everyone in the team can decide what roles they want. If you want there can be two directors/ etc/ but there should at least be on person in each role. - Once a group has too many people (see list) I will put them into another group! Please check to make sure your group you are signing up in isn't too full! Once group signups are done I will explain on [Monday April 28th] how the filming process works! This will conclude part 1 of the ORP (the movie watching/signup part) and move on to part 2 (the filming part!) GROUP SIGNUPS EACH GROUP CAN HAVE A MAX OF 8 PEOPLE. If a group is lacking I'll just reallocate them to an existing group. All groups come with a DISGUISE PIN that makes anybody look Human, but only while filming! Once again simply have your student ICLY COME AND SIGN UP WITH ONE OF THESE GROUPS. A special reward will also be given to the winning group's "film" entry as well as the IC reward of a little DETH pin that disguises creatures as Human for around 5 minutes at a time. GROUP HALF MOON:Special equipment: Fake but realistic looking fire that lights up whenever stepped on! GROUP PUMPKIN SUN:Special equipment: A switch that makes it artificially rain! GROUP NIGHTMARE HILL:Special equipment: A candy that will make any minipet temporarily huge! GROUP GRAVEYARD SHIFT:Special equipment: A special paint that can turn parts of actors invisible!

The movie, well movies, had been fun. Meara tilted her head slightly as she listened to Mo. So they would get the chance to make a movie as well? The demoness looked at the signup sheets with a thoughtful look on her face. Well why not.
The ghoul moved over to the sheets and wrote down her name under the Pumpkin Sun group and noted that she would be trying for an actor.
