"Thank you, and you're right, he did have a different oppinion. He just didn't want to be saved. And the moment I got through to him, and gave him something to live for, I had failed him. Because I was his reason and I had to leave."

Izumi nodded. "Did you love him?" he asked quietly, curious. Angels and demons, demons and humans, angels and humans... It seemed as if they were cursed to never be able to live together perfectly... like once happiness was found, misfortune would occur..... He sighed delicately, not sure what to make of this sad existance.

Tsuki nodded. "Yes, I loved him." he said "But fate is cruel. how you can think you have helped someone and only end up destroying them. If he had just lived his life and pursued happiness that we would eventually have been together....But suicides can never reach heaven." a silent tear edged its way down the angel's cheek.

Izumi gulped and nodded, trying hard not to cry himself. But somehow it reminded him of his parents... had they just thrown their lives away to be together? Why would they do such a thing that should never be done? "So... lunch..." he said somewhat weakly, trying to return the talk to something happier and more normal.

"Yes lunch would be...nice." said Tsuki and gave the other a sad smile. "By the stars! We've been talking here for over half an hour, we should get a move on if we're planning to eat today!" and at that he charged off towards the canteen.

He smiled and shook his head, following at a slower pace.
He took his place in the lunch line behind the enthusiastic boy and picked out a few things to eat. When they had both payed and were done, he led the other to the courtyard where they had met. "This is the place, right?" He smiled.

Tsuki muched happily on his cheese and pickle sandwich. "Yes, this is such a nice place compared to most schools around here. The oak trees and the fountain are quite rare for an inner city school. I wonder if they're important?"
PostPosted: Sun Mar 19, 2006 1:19 pm

He smiled. "Of course they are... They're old... And quite a few people tend to think age is importance." He grinned. "I think the city finally realised just how precious these trees are and made an effort to save them..." He took the lid off of his salad and began to eat.

((Does this school have dorms or not...?))

((well it would make things a lot darn easier, so yes))

Tsuki gave the trees a thoughtful look. "Age is important. You can only truly learn from your own experiences." he said. "I is a shame that the young often treat the elderly as a burden, or take their heritage for granted." He laughed "That said I'm probably older than these trees, and everything else in this world for that matter."

He grinned and shrugged, careful to finish his bite before speaking. "Yes... that happens, but how can you blame us? The younger you are, the more you live for the moment. THose who are older tend to think of the future and the past, rather than what they can do now."

"I suppose you're right." said Tsuki happily. "But when you're immortal, those things hardly matter anymore. You start to get bored." He gazed up at the pale light that filtered between the oak leaves and smiled. "People do strange things when they're bored. You know all those alien abductions? That was my friend Abdiel."

He nearly choked on his salad, staring at the other. He coughed a bit and then when he was sure of his voice, he spoke. "Well... I guess angels have more power to do things when they're bored... So, uh... what happened to those people?" he asked, voice still weak from his bout of coughing.

"You know what, I'm' really not sure." said Tsuki "he returns them all unharmed, of course, but I get the feeling the experience id more than traumatising for them."

"Strange what people in a place of power will do when they have nothing to do." He took a sip from his water bottle and sighed, the cold liquid soothing his throat.

"Well it'll probably happen to you eventually" said the angel and grinned "although I doubt that you would do something like that. And you may become one of those lucky few who find true happiness and never get bored at all."
