Well. A fist to the face was a great way to make a lasting impression, but Remarque didn't want the lasting bruise that came with it. His adrenaline was already on high and his right hand shot up to grip her fist before it could make contact. His left fist moved almost as quickly, colliding with the senshi's stomach. He wasn't making much effort to pull his punches, but he wasn't going to brutalize the girl on the first hit.

"You're hurting my Court?" He dug his fist deeper into her stomach. "That's a bit of a problem, darlin'," he mocked her accent, and then continued, "You might want to rethink your targets in the future. I pay back every punch. Be a good girl and get out of here before you get hurt."

Falias had waited crouched up in the rafters of the warehouse, his lanky body tense as he had waited for the signal. Time had seemed to pass slowly as he waited for the attack to begin and part of him had begun to wonder whether the DMC would take the bait.

It seemed that there had been nothing to worry about on that front, Dark Mirror auras eventually getting closer and closer to warehouse and then an exchange of words between WP and a female voice.

The signal when it came was not been one that he'd been anticipating - WP's whistle yes, but for to Buddingtonite to at the same time yell out surprise, no.

The signal had been given though and Falias would roll with it as dropping down from the rafters he looked for the nearest senshi with a Dark Mirror aura to go after.

It was not uncommon for Athene to patrol with Tsui and Ida and tonight had been no exception, it had been a peaceful patrol so far and Athene had had no reason to think that their shared patrol would be anything but a quiet one.

No reason except for the fact that this was Destiny City and Destiny City did not tend to do peaceful for very long.

He'd frowned slightly when he'd picked up on first one and then another strong Dark Mirror auras. Coincidence? or something else.

But then he'd started picking up on more Dark Mirror auras of varying strengths and it had started to seem a little more than chance coincidence.

Curious about why so many of the Dark Mirror Court were on the move, Athene had needed little convincing when Tsui had wanted them to check it out.

What he had found however when they had reached the warehouse had left him both confused and feeling a little sick because god if it wasn't the gate-crashed senshi and knight meeting all over again, but with senshi and knights substituted for Dark Mirror senshi - although seeing Negaverse members attack the Dark Mirror senshi made no sense - after all weren't the Negaverse and Dark Mirror supposed to be allies?

Athene was silent as Ida mentioned having no love towards the Dark Mirror, his own feelings towards the Dark Mirror were somewhat complicated by the fact that even though his position towards the Court was 'neutral', he kind of liked Remarque and enjoyed their chats few and far between as they tended to fall out. He had never had any wish to join the Court though and saw no difference between their brand of energy stealing and that of the Negaverse.

"I'm willing to help intervene too against the Negaverse agents" he said at last. "I... I always thought that I'd end up standing against the Dark Mirror," after all they were on opposite sides, enemies and Athene felt his loyalty ultimately lay with the White Moon. "But this - this doesn't feel right."

Tantalus's elbow struck true, hitting Europa in the stomach. She grunted in pain, and her vision spun for a moment. Well, she thought, at least he was fighting back now. "Well, that's bad luck for you," she said, tightening her grip on his ponytail. She tried to wrench his head backwards, depending on how much resistance he put up.

"Seeing as I'm here to fight your court," she added. "And you're a member of it. Nothing personal, you know."

But she was still going to swing her arm around and try to sucker-punch him in the face. Impersonally and all that.

Tantalus reached backwards, trying to pry her fingers out of his hair. He was fighting her every step, not at all interested in being yanked around further.

Still, her fist connected pretty solidly with his face, and his response was to stomp backwards, aiming to step on her foot. "Goddamnit," he growled, but at least he could say he was keeping her away from any other Dark Mirrors.



Natron actually felt a chill run down his back, hearing Lellouch's voice. He'd lost track of her in the whole mess, and so while on the one hand he was glad the Negaverse wasn't foolish enough to take its own hostage...That she was fighting with this WP and the others said a lot.

"Please, Lellouch, if you're a hostage, I'm straight," he said, his tone sarcastic and borderline mocking. He was absolutely unafraid of her - she was a basic-level Senshi, and he was a General. He'd left her kind bloodied and broken on the ground before. His breath briefly left him when she shoved him against the wall, but he once again made use of the handle of his kusarigama, going for the gut again. "You're taking the wrong orders, either way."




Persephone had a damned near inexhaustible supply of energy for dramatics, but right then she felt speaking plainly would be best. Her hand snapped out quickly, catching the Lieutenat's weapon and yanking hard to pull him in towards her.

Perhaps he didn't quite realize it, but by insinuating she was useless to the Negaverse, Galvatronite had hit a very particular nerve in the Corrupted Eternal. She was damned tired of hearing that - from Bischofite, from Lellouch, now from this blind idiot who knew less of her than either of them.

"Listen to me, Lieutenant," she said, her voice a soft growl, "you're probably about as green as my hair, so I'm gonna give you a pass for not knowing anything about the situation - but the Dark Mirror are our allies, and I can promise you, it won't be me brought up before Zinkenite once all is said and done."

Labyrinthite was not a man who went down easy because he'd spent his entire life fighting and he was a man who spent a hell of a lot of time training and preparing himself for battle but the pressure against his knee made it buckle. He didn't hit the ground like the eternal wanted but his balance was thrown off. He twisted his body to put the eternal senshi before him again, inwardly cursing that Avior somehow managed to slip behind him, by dropping down and sweeping out with a kick of his free leg.

He missed, because Avior had slipped away and attacked his lieutenant.

His expression darkened as he rose to his feet, cracking his neck as he bared his teeth. "Grave mistake senshi," he snarled even as the pair began to put distance between them. He looked at Zircon to make sure that the pressure of Avior's walls hadn't done real damage before nodding at Canopus and her friend. "Take them down, focus on the eternal. The girl will be easy once he's gone."

With that, he charged forward sweeping his weapon across the front of his body and into the air in a circle before striking out at the fleeing pair. He went for a wide sweep so his attack would target both mirror senshi before he dove into a tuck and roll, springing up and throwing his body towards Avior aiming to knock him off his feet.

There was chaos, utter chaos, which is exactly what she suspected. Hanging in the rafters, Kallichore simply watched as her fellow Jovians either dove into the fray or simply considered it. The eternal senshi covered her mouth and eyes with her long sleeves to keep them safe from the sawdust, listening as Zircona proclaimed an interest in Dark Mirror starseeds. It all seemed to be coming together.

Finally she dove into fray herself, watching out of the corner of her eye Europa erupt into a bloodlust all too familiar. It was worrying, dizzying. She knew it from her tenure among these thieves. Knowing at least one had got royal in addition to Ares was frightening - it meant the band of soul-snatchers was gaining power and that simply wouldn't be allowed. What about those who went unwillingly? Drug into their doom through a mirror without a choice? That was why she hated the Dark Mirrors - they were selfishness incarnate with their devil Queen at their head.

Magic and limbs were flying everywhere in a din of blood and battle.

It was routine for Acubens to say goodnight to her brother and power up several blocks away from their apartment. He knew what she was doing, even if she made up some lie about going out for a walk. It seemed easier to do then tell him she was powering up. Like she was making a promise she couldn't keep. She could come back from a walk. And it was enough for the two of them, that silent almost promise. Acubens didn't like to think about what would happen if she didn't come back, be it because of Bsichofite or...

She couldn't really think about that now. It was too peaceful for that kind of thinking. The night was quiet and somewhere between cool and warm. Acubens really could pretend she was out for a stroll. Her parent's neighborhood was nice enough that she didn't have to worry generally. Maybe that was why she found herself wandering so far off track. So far into abandoned warehouses and industrial ruins. Something about the safety of her old route made her wont for something a little more... dangerous.

Dangerous didn't even count for the feeling she slammed into in the middle of the ruins. It knocked her to her feet and had her gasping. An ambush. Her breathing came in gasps and her heart tried to rip through her chest. Acubens thought she was going to die right there. Could feeling too much power kill a person? Control. Keep control. Acubens had to keep control. She forced her breathing down and her knees steady and pressed on. Someone was being ambushed and she'd be god damned if she wasn't there to help the victims. That promise made her shove open the heavy metal door and face the chaos inside. Literally. There were masses of chaos agents inside. Negaverse and her beloved Dark Mirror Court. Fighting. Some senshi were mixed in but she couldn't tell who was with who. Better not risk it.

"No!" She wasn't sure if anyone heard her over the din of battle. She wasn't even really sure if she'd spoken at all. But she was going to fight and fight hard. She was going to protect her family. Find Leto. Find Remarque. Find Lesath. Keep them safe. Fight any negas that came her way. Senshi were friends to some extent.

The call went up to attack, and many jumped immediately down. Thraen waited, watching for what looked like a decent opportunity and nexus of combatants. Hopefully those on the Phoenix Team would remember his warning.

Penthe's yell was startling as she chose one of the biggest fish in the pond- gutsy, if ill-advised. The Senshi of Gardens spared a glance at the Eternal still there in the rafters, chatting it up with Bischofite. It was a blow to their ground strength, those two remaining topside. The general's broken wrist was an excuse- there were plenty down there going to have broken worse after less than a minute, and they would still be fighting. One arm at his strength and speed was better than many with two to command. Ganymede had no excuse at all, just reticence.

He turned his attention back to the Dark Mirror Eternal that War danced with. She shouldn't be facing someone like that alone, even if they both just ended up in pieces. Thraen leapt down, casting as soon as he landed beside the dark wings and garish colours of the two, "Thraen Annual Planting!"
