Lilliana started to pick up a few of the eggs as she walked and placed them into her basket. She didn't pick up enough to hide the trail but still she thought these might be important so she began picking a few up as she kept following the path that they made. It was so pretty and maybe some of the little ones would get to do an easter egg hunt with these. Takuto saw his mother going into the woods and picking up the eggs so he began to go into the woods and picked up some eggs too. He placed them in the pretty basket he had. He smiled back at Impetua as she followed him as he followed the eggs. "I think you are right. I am glad the smoke cleared so we could see it better."

((tag to vamps + mari)) "Oh! Good idea!" Mordecai said as he saw Impetua picking up the eggs along her way in her basket. He ran back to his little resting place from before and got his brightly coloured ribbon basket and followed the pink elder, blue adult and Impetua. "I don't think i caught your names." Morty said politely as he tapped the elder and adult on the shoulders lightly. If he was going on a rescue mission with them, he might as well know all of his team mates' names. "H-hey! Wait for me!" the little mini wini sprinted after the group of winiko who followed the trail. The trail had been picked up and collected so if he hadn't gone now, he would have been left out of the fun (at least that's what he thought the group was up to). He had to make twice as many steps to catch up to them because his legs were so short.

Lilliana heard others behind her and turned to see her son and two others following him then a tiny little one chasing to catch up. She smiled and looked at them all and looked at the other elder when he tapped on her shoulder. "My name is Lilliana and that is my son Takuto. What's your name. I'd like to know the names of the people I'm traveling with." She smiled sweetly at them all and looked at the trail as she continued to follow it and pick up some more eggs. Takuto bounced a little bit as he caught up to his mother and looked at the others with them. He liked being with others and they seemed to be so nice he turned to the little one that was running to catch up and smiled at it. He continued to pick up some eggs as they followed the trail. Takuto jumped a bit as he was tapped but smiled.

Impetua smiled at Takuto. He was a cute little guy and very polite.
A small Mini hurried over to join the rescue party. Imp looked at him. Ah, yes, names. I don't believe we've all been introduced. My name is Impetua. She stepped over a tree root and dodged a low-hanging branch.
"It would probably be wise to leave enough eggs for us to find our way back," she said thoughtfully.

Venetia shot a glowing glare at her companion, blaming her for making so much noise that she hadn't noticed the other Wraik nearby. Clearly it was her fault for being distracting. This never would have happened to her in her prime. About the time the other female Wraik addressed them, Venetia had also caught wind of the male headed their way. He'd been a bit too friendly with the sappy Winiko fools for her to give him the benefit of a doubt, as she would others of her kind. With a hiss, she narrowed her eyes and seemed to melt back into the shadows and disappear.
Abeytu chuckled softly, turning one pair of eyes towards the other darkly-colored Wraik female. "Ah, there she goes again. Off with the scaring and the terror again." She aimed a smile at the stranger Wraik. "Ah well. Name's Abeytu. You are?" Venetia slipped through the shadows, seeming one herself as long as she kept her eyes narrowed. Easily, she slipped back into old habits. The lone prey, stalking silently, nearer and nearer, she could nearly hear his heart beating...
Rising up behind the youth, silent and looming, tendrils creeping forward, Venetia let out a dangerous hiss from behind Raik...

"My name is Mordecai. Morty for short, if you prefer." He replied. "A pleasure to meet you and your son, Lilliana." He bowed his head and blinked his eyes slowly in greeting. Morty's basket was getting full and heavy. Even though they were beautiful and it'd be a shame if they broke if someone where to step on them. "We should put them somewhere where they won't break as easily." He said as he began to put them near the base of tree trunks or on soft moss beds. Their brightly coloured shells shone through but were out of the main path that the four of them had made on the greenery. Koko zipped around the other winiko. No one seemed to see him except a quiet blue adult who his mom called him Takuto. "Hi Takuto!" he said excitedly, bouncing up and down with a large smile on his face. Koko liked this winiko. He was quiet but he looked like a nice demon to hang out with.

Lilliana nodded her head. "It's a pleasure to meet you Morty you all can call me Lilly for short if you prefer." She grinned as he bowed his head and she bowed back. She looked around when Morty spoke and wondered where they should put them. She helped him move them off of the main path but they were still visible so that the could find their way back. She nodded at Impetua had a good idea. "Nice thinking we wouldn't want to get lost." Takuto grnned back at Impetua and bowed his head. He dodged around a tree and then kept walking as he looked at the pretty eggs. Then he spun and looked at the little guy as he zipped around. He grinned and nodded. "Hi there. I'm sorry I don't know what your name is." He wanted to know what the hyper little guy's name was. He saw the huge smile and smiled back.

Thalassa followed Raik and then as he slowed, she blinked. "Why are you stopping?" she hissed quietly. "We can't kick butt if you hide!" She ughs a bit and shakes her head, she only watches him ATTEMPT to sneak before she steels herself, and decides to run full bore into the woods surrounding the clearing. She was hoping to scare any intruders enough to give her the edge. Dylara watched the brown Wraik attempt to hide as well, and then sensed one of the nearby Wraik leave, causing her to smirk. She glanced over at the other one only briefly to answer "Dylara," before peering back out. The purple Winiko apparently had different ideas from her companion, and she saw her square her shoulders and eye the woods. "I think we're about to have company," she murmurs quietly. "This could be...interesting," she chuckles darkly, as indeed the purple female charges right in their direction.

Raik felt something behind him. He turned and saw black tendrils of shadow and glowing eyes. He broke into a scary, sharp-toothed grin, his eyes narrowing evilly. With a shrill shriek of joy, he pounced on the black eyes, teeth flashing whitely. [OOC: Betcha weren't expecting that. XD ] Impetua nodded her head in greeting. "Lilly, Koko." She ducked under another branch.

Winiko scattering, strange sounds from a distance, others chasing after adventure...
Not this Winiko. She'd never been the type to chase danger and she certainly wasn't about to start. Not with little ones to watch over. Nope, not this Elder. As Winiko paired up and split up, Dyani turned her attention back towards her little ones and their new friend, as it seemed. She was staying right here. She may not be the bravest Winiko or the best fighter...but she'd learned a few things along the way during the war, and she had something to fight for.
Moki was wondering where everyone else was going all of a sudden...was it a new game? Should they play too? What were the rules? Chase other Winis until you caught them? Grinning, he started to bound off...and bounded face-first into his mother's out-stretched paw. Ignoring the pouting face below, Dyani chuckled softly. "Ah ah, you sit right down, Mister. You just going to leave your Mom and sister behind? I don't think so. Now, come on, introduce me to your new friend." She padded closer, lying down like a shield, blocking her son's view of the field behind her where other Winiko prepared to give pursuit. Just a short distraction and he'd forget all about rushing off into the woods and getting hurt.
Smiling disarmingly at the orange mini, Dyani nodded her head in greeting. "Well met, kind sir. I do believe you may have rescued my little ones from themselves. I'm Dyani. This is Moki," she nodded to her son. "And I suppose you've already met little Fawn. How are you this fine day?" Despite circumstances at least. Perhaps he would catch her drift and help keep the children distracted from what was going on nearby?

Assassin's instincts kicking in, Venetia seemed to melt back and away from the child's noisy, screeching pounce. "Traitorous dog!" she hissed venomously, tendrils lashing with fury. "For turning on your own kind, you are worse than these weak fools! Let me show you what a true Wraik can do!" Despite him being her size, it was clear that the male had no idea how to fight a real battle. Venetia's teeth and claws had been too little used as of late; baring both, she lunged forward like lightning. They would so love to taste blood again, be it Winiko or in this case, traitorous Wraik. She wondered idly if he'd ever tasted his own blood before...
Abeytu chuckled, seeming quite lackadaisical about the whole thing. "Indeed, so it seems. Well, well-met in any case." Yawning and stretching, the greenish-grey Wraik climbed to her feet, long tail unwinding from the undergrowth to reveal that what may have appeared to be moss was, in fact, fur. Golden eyes flashing, she aimed a twisted, fangy grin towards her new companion. "Shall we give her a proper greeting?"
DarkMari2 ((Well, no, no I wasn't. I apologize in advance for any damage Raik may and probably will sustain for attacking a former war assassin in hunting mode... >_>;; XD ))

"Indeed." Dylara eyed the incoming Winiko and made sure she couldn't be seen from her angle as she waited. "Perhaps if we cause her to scream enough, the others will come to her aid and give up their hunt for our brethren. I shall distract, if you wish to make the first blow...." A moment later, Thala burst through the treeline and a little ways into the dense underbrush with raucous noise. Her head whipped left and right to search for the enemy, but she never looked behind her, never realizing she passed the Wraiks when she crashed into the woods; and a dangerously calm and quiet voice startled the heck out of her. "Lost, little girl?" Dylara calmly purrs from behind the careless Winiko. She smirks as she watches the purple female whirl around, leaving her backside and flank exposed to Abeytu, and trusts her new 'friend' to take the opening as her tail sways calmly side to side, regarding the brave but stupid demon in front of her.

A... decidedly odd pair move their way into the clearing, one moving in a way that resembles a slow stalk, the other hovering along next to him, and apparently chatting happily away to the much larger, darker winiko she was accompanying. "...it was the best, Baron! I was having so much fun!" She paused, and looked around, studying all the activity going on, her small face wrinkling in puzzlement. "What on earth? Wasn't there supposed to be, like, some sort of party, Baron? Or at least that's what I thought...." She slowly drops to the ground next to one of his large paws, her red eyes blinking slowly as she continued to try to figure it out.Baron Samedi slowly turned his head, also surveying the situation. Once the little green Mini stopped talking, he spoke in a slow, thoughtful rumble. "Everyone seems t'be searchin' fo sumting, Lil'Cat. I do'know wha, bu' it does seem sumting's gone missin'. Per'aps we should ask some folk?" He tapped his cane on the ground and moved towards a purple Winiko, his head tilted.Cataya recognized the girl they were approaching. "Thala! What on EARTH is going on, sister? I thought there was supposed to be a party on, and instead we seem to have a mess!" She pauses, then frowns, yelling "HEY WHO'RE YOU TRYING TO FIGHT MY SISTER!"

"Of course..." Abeytu purred, melting into the forest surroundings. She held still and quiet, allowing the purple one to go barreling past, oblivious. She was one with nature, one with the very trees around them...the vines like welcoming coils, inviting those to enter their embrace...the embrace of eternity...
Dylara's calm voice caused the purple Winiko to whirl about. A sly grin crossed Abeytu's face as she seemed to rise up and out of the foliage itself, golden eyes flashing with malice. Just then, some Winiko brat started screeching from the clearing. All sense of ease slipped from her frame, her eyes narrowing dangerously. The jig was up, they'd been spotted. Best to take care of things here before reinforcements showed up. "No time to play," she hissed, leaping at the purple Winiko's exposed back with claws and fangs bared.

Thala narrowed her eyes and was about to leap at the Wraik in front of her when she heard a familiar voice screech in her direction. She paused, distracted, and started to turn. "Cataya?" she pipes up. "What are you do--" She's cut off as she hears hissed words from behind her and isn't fast enough to turn around, before feeling claws and teeth dig into her backside. She roars in pain and digs her claws into the ground to try and dislodge whoever was latched onto her from behind. Dylara is also briefly distracted by the loud voice coming from nearby; she'd been so intent on trapping the purple Winiko she never noticed anyone else coming.Thankfully their prey was surprised more than she was, and she also wastes no time; she wasn't thinking of making this quick, though, while Abeytu might be concerned about reinforcements, Dylara WANTED more help to come, the more to distract them from their search of the other Wraik and that blasted Meiko. With that in mind, she lunges towards Thalassa while she's trying to shake Abeytu off, her own claws flashing, but for the girl's neck and throat.
