He was tempted, really tempted, to just try to get a weed whacker out of his hat but just as the temptation became almost too much he managed to push past the last of the mushrooms. Which resulted in him landing on his face just outside the patch. At least no one was around to see it. "Careful now…careful." He chided himself. He tried to maneuver around another mushroom, but he wasn't quite the right anything just yet.
Arrrrgh he was so close, except he was just a bit too short to maneuver past one that was absolutely blocking the path like some kind of fungal football.

UGH, now he was so stuck he could barely wiggle, that was hardly fair at all.

He knew by now that being so close could mean absolutely nothing at all. He held his breath and tried again to move through the mushroom maze, and found himself much too big to continue in his chosen direction

he did it… HE DID IT!!
He let out a whoop of joy and did a 'perhaps ridiculous to anyone who wasn't a feathered-serpant' dance that involved quite a lot of feather shaking and wing flapping, and since he couldn't fly, quite a lot of jumping as well.
Not that he did it for an exceptionally long time mind you, he gathered up his loot and made away as quickly and calmly as he could.

Ah, the garden smelled nicely, he had to admit. Taking a deep breath, Boi stepped out into the garden and walked around. Though coming to mushrooms made him shudder. bad experiences with mushrooms. Do not ask.
Regardless he decided to take two and eat. And became tiny. But proportionately tiny. Alas.

So trying again, Boi found himself extremely out of proportion and very uncomfortable. Good lord this was a mess. Burping, he settled his queasy stomach and tried to find a better mushroom to nibble.

After gnawing on new mushrooms his out of proportion body got worse. There was no God, he thought, as he laid there helplessly and grabbed for new shrooms to eat.

This isn't the first mushroom event Dreadpirate has taken part in, but it seems much more complex than the first side quest he undertook with Raze. He thinks he's grasped the instructions. Time will prove him right or wrong. He walks along the path and grabs a piece of mushroom when he's no longer the right size to continue on. Biting into it, he realises he's becoming very desensitised to the taste of mushrooms. He may never enjoy them in the real world again.
