"Pests," he spat as he swatted the life out of a nearby snapdragonfly. Of course, his choice of "weapon" wasn't anything to be desired. Pulling it out of his hat, the Mad Hatter had acquired a larger than life teaspoon for the current bout. Kiin was in even less of a mood to deal with the bugs because of the "weapon," though it did get the job done. He'd already smacked and rid the world of five confetti-eating turds.

Punchy was surprised to find himself missing the place almost as soon as it disappeared, especially once he saw where he had ended up instead. Everything was so bright and sugary. And... tea? He didn't give a s**t about tea. This party was stranger than the forest, with its giant cups and weird perky dormice. What was a dormouse anyway? He certainly had no interest in... protecting... confetti, so it was a good thing for the confetti that these snapdragonflies were so jackdamn annoying on their own.
"We were here first!" they shrieked as he tried to cut through their little confetti-gorging gathering.
"Don't give a ********. If y'move outta my way, yer scenty little asses won't even know I'm here."
"So rude!" The nearest snapdragonfly bared its confetti-congested teeth. "Attack!"
They crowded around him, shrieking in anger as they nipped and bit at his clothing. Before they could loosen a seam, his translucent pink arms swept through the air, leaving a trail of flowery carnage in their wake.

She had to admit, the new zone was somewhat nicer than the dark old forest. Even it if it was a fair bit odd.
Like this place. It was rather pretty- was that stores of confetti? And were those things....eating the confetti? Indeed they were.
Quest accepted. Save the confetti? She could do that!
Or she could try, and miss every single snapdragonfly. She kind of hoped no one had...actually seen that. It...was not her best attempt.

Yes. Warm up swings was just what she needed. A few misses, and then she knocked several little pests out of the air.

She followed up her first success with another. It was all very satisfying. Hitting the annoying little things, saving the confetti. Waffleberry was like, some kind party hero, or something. Being useful was nice.
She even got a treasure chest for helping out. Awesome. She would happily take something in return for saving the confetti.
