She was injured, but the0racle managed to lose the Jabberwocky, if only for a little while. She could hear its footsteps pounding against the earth, taunting her with just how close it was. It was looking, searching, and the0racle desperately snuck on ahead, trying to get as far away from the Jabberwocky as possible. If it caught her, she was sure she'd die. The Jabberwocky had taken off so much of her HP already with just one hit!
Voices began to call out to her, taunting her, begging her to turn around and listen to them. But, the0racle knew what was lurking in the forest, knew what was following her. There was no way she could stop now, not if she valued her avatar's life! Hopefully if that thing did manage to catch up to her, she'd respawn. They let out a screech as the Jabberwock came awfully close...however they're...alive somehow. Either way, it doesn't matter...RUNNING IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART AT THE MOMENT.
DEDfeesh ran away, screaming some more.

There were the voices again. But this time...this time they were different. Different voices with that ring of familiarity and comfort, enticing her to stop. She knew it was probably a bad idea, but for some reason, she just couldn't help herself. Again her steps slowed. Again she turned. SNAP. Again she "died". After running for what seemed like an eternity he finally made it somewhere that didn't seem as dark and lifeless as before. Collapsing behind a tree he squeezed his eyes shut and expected the feel of snapping teeth any moment. Wait for it .... when the snap didn't come he carefully opened one eye and after a moment peered around the tree. Whatever that thing had been it was gone. He was safe for the time being. DEDfeesh dodge the Jabberwork this time (thankfully), and successfully evades the blind wrath of the creature. THEY LIVVVEEEEE and survive for another day...

This time she was not going to stop. Screw the familiar voices. She didn't care how much she wanted to turn around to see the faces that went with them. She was stronger then this. She had willpower, gods be damned if she didn't. She was not going to turn around. She kept going. He was hit by something, he thought it might be a tail. He kept running though hauling tail way out of there. That was terrifying. He wondered if it would be a main boss later, but clearly he was far two low level to tackle it now. Must gain levels! the0racle came across a fork in the road, and not really thinking about what path would be better, she veered down the right path, snatching up the health potion on her way. She had no time to pause, no time to think. the0racle knew it! The Jabberwocky weaved down the path after her, snarling at the player. In a rage it lashed out at her, and everything in its path. Just like that, he was at a crossroads. Burn panted, looking one way then the other. He couldn't dwindle. Couldn't ponder. Just go. Run. Escape. Hearing more of the creature's movements behind him, he veered to the left, taking his chances down that path.
A clock on the ground caught his attention and he swiped it up as he ran past. The second chance timer made him snort before tucking it into his belt. He had faith enough in his abilities.... but perhaps a little extra luck was in order. Just in case.
