The comfort and closeness of his mate was enough to put his mind at ease as Kuro drifted off into a deep slumber along. He was okay with letting Stormy go and wished her all the luck in the world.

Stormy looked at Bullet and Kuro with a grateful look on her face and replied "Thank-you both for all you have done for me you help me learn to become a better hunter,friend,and packmate, and either of you need a help with anything just give me a howl." Stormy trotted out of the den quietly and once she was out of hearing she took off full speed to tell Kurogane the news.

Streak soon returned with a small doe he'd managed to sneak up on. There was enough for everyone to get a nice share as he made his way back into the den. dropping the prey towards the back he'd circled around to go wake Bullet and Kuro. "Chow time you two! Come on." He nudged his brothers side only to get no response. He leaned in a nosed him under his neck and did the same for Bullet. Still nothing. "Bullet.... Kuro.....?" The grin on his maw seemed to fade as he sniffed over the alphas. He nudged them a bit more and went over to the carcass tearing off a couple of chunks of considerable size for each placing them at their noses. Unfortunately the silence persisted. He's jaws hung slightly as the reality of the situation began to set in. There was nothing he could do but sit as he gazed upon the two with his head hung low. "I will miss you two, my Alphas...... My friend........ My brother......... " A tear he fought to hold back rolled down his cheek as he lifted his head to the skies releasing a silent howl to the heavens in mourning. "Say hi to Shino and Metaru for me." With that he laid beside their bodies to sleep with them for the last time.

Scarlett returned from her visit with her son Rail to find the three wolves slumbering together. The green furred pup darted out from under her to greet the Alphas and Beta but stopped short before getting to close. Scarlett noticed the smell of death before entering the caves but thought it to be nothing more than a dead dog. Looking at her oldest friend she remembered finding the lost red whelp, watching her grow with her pack and become the leader. The white wolf noticed one was still alive. She brushed off the relief she felt and said her silent goodbyes to Bullet. Taking the pup she moved to one of the smaller caves in the back section to rest awhile.

Scarlett woke to the wild dogs barking like mad. She left the pup to sleep in the deepest part of the cave. The white wolf exited the home cave and watched as the adult dogs celebrated their successful hunt, leaving their young open and unprotected.
With a nasty smirk the wolf slunk over to whelps to rid them of their lives. They ran to hide and tried to defend themselves but they could not escape the anger that drove the white devil. Her jaws smashed at them, claws ripped them, teeth tore them apart, and she felt no mercy. All but one pup remained now, her eyes flicked to it, a monstrous pup. It did not run in fright but stood it's ground and bared her teeth at the wolf. Scarlett looked at the pup, really looked, and saw the wolf in her. Someone wasn't fallowing the rules. Jaws wide she came at the pup but instead of ending it's life she picked it up and took it away with her, leaving the dead siblings to be found by the parents.

Streak awakened from his last peaceful slumber with his Alphas. He rose to the unpleasant sound of the yapping mutts as it seemed they were fighting over scraps from what he could hear. The occasional yelping brushing it of before all fell quiet again. Walking out of the former alpha cave as he left Bullet and Kuro to their final resting place. He'd headed to the stream for a drink crouching down to lap against the quiet brook. He'd wondered what had become of Stormy and the others. Pushing the thought away he padded over to the fields to search for some prey but what he found was rather shocking. Pups, Adolescent dogs, all slaughtered. It wasn't the sight he'd planned on. "Poor lil guys. Whatever it was they'd no chance."

{I have no idea what this pup looks like yet that I took, Bullet told me to take a half dog pup, shes designing a dartmoor hound/wolf mix... whatever that is.}
Loki woke up and with Scarlett not there he bolted out of the cave. Tail between his legs he yelped and cried out. When the scent of Streak found him he had already blundered into the males hind leg. With a yappy bark and a weak growl the pup tried to act big and strong like Streak. He was getting older now and wasn't the tiny pup that was abandoned by Sub at the start of this long journey.

(Sorry for the sudden lengthy pause. School got the better of me) Streaks ears perked feeling a small form bump into him. He swung his head around to examine the young wolf. The male was being quite vocal in his display of courage. With a wolfish grin he turned about placing a paw on his head. "What on earth are you doing out here running about young one."

Soulis Wolf its no problem. I know its that time of year where everyone is taking finals or huge test for school smile and I don't get online to often any more so don't worry about it With a wide eye look Loki just barked out "MOM." Then dropped onto his back grabbing and kicking playfully at the paw. It wasn't often that he got to be around other wolves or play with any one other than his brother's pups. The fright that he had awoken to was completely gone.

There was a slight pause watching the pup attacking his paw. He'd poked the pups belly and allowed him to scramble about nipping and kicking back. It was rather satisfying considering he'd never had a son of his own. "Where is your mother by the way."

"I don know..just wasn't there" He froze in place as he remember when Sub left him and wondered if Scarlett had done the same. The pup laid his ears back and curled up as he started thinking about being abandon a third time.

"Don't fret young one. She's probably gone hunting perhaps." The poor thing seemed to have a bad memory perhaps. Probably wasn't the greatest question to have asked. Just then it clicked in his head. This was no mere coincidence, but rather a successful hunt. The pup had awakened alone in the den and he'd found a litter of slaughtered pup on this day. It was clear who was behind it. Regardless the deed was done now. "Come there will be dogs here soon and we wouldn't want anyone worried about your absence now." Streak rose to his paws lowered his head and gripped lightly Loki's scruff lifting the ball of fur and carried him back to their den.

The dogs of the area went into an uproar when they found the dead litter. Scarlett watched from her perch up on the rock walls, an evil grin spread across her maw. The mutant pup lay asleep beside her, she had come to know scarlett as her mother and fallowed her every command. She was growing in size much faster than any pup before.
With the monster in her command as well as Loki, Scarlett knew she could come to lead this pack of dogs as her own army. As so she did.
