Trent let Rik have his time to roll his neck which may or may not be a factor in the next move. But once the turn was made Trent would charge for a superkick right into his chin

Rik saw Trent coming in at the last second, and ducked under the kick. He would wait for Trent to turn around so that he would go for a Spinning Back Hand to the face.

Trent would be thrown by his own force as the move had missed. Once both soles of his boots met with the mat he turned around and greeted the backhand of Rik as he fell down with a big red hand print left on his face as an effect

Rik faced Trent, waiting for him to stand back up as he placed his feet setting up for his next move.

Trent began to make his way back to his feet, facing the other way than slowly turning to see a concentrated Rik

As Trent turned, Rik went to spin the opposite way of his last offensive move, by going for a Discus Clothesline.

Rik spun completely around, gaining momentum as he would take Trent down by the horns and throw him down to the mat as Trent began to hold his neck which connected to the ground first once the move hit.

Rik put his hand on Trent's chest, looking at the crowd as the ref went to count, but instead of pinning Rik went to pull up Trent by his hair/head. He would pull Trent to a spot in the ring near a corner, so that he can lift him up, and go for a Scoop Slam.

The official looked at Rik and than the hand as he was about to go for a count until the hand escalated to Trent's hair. He would tell the man to watch for that but Rik still would bring him up to a vertical base close within the range of the turnbuckle. Trent would be hit with the scoop slam as he would writhe in pain

Rik stood up after the slam and turned to the crowd flexing his muscles, the crowd getting at least 30% louder, being in it since the Canadian Destroyer happened. Rik walked to the corner as he was taunting, before stepping through the ropes and climbing up to the top.
He stood on the top rope, and pointed at Trent who was down with both hands, before jumping off for the Top Rope Elbow Drop!

Trent's rib cage would have almost given, as the elbow drop connected. Rik gaining momentum after what was Trent's comeback as the crowd was fully behind him.

Rik held his neck with one arm, while the other arm grabbed Trent's far leg to hook it for the pin!

The official slid and was in position as he hit the mat twice with speed. But the third count wasn't made as Trent would do a combination of grabbing the rope and swinging his shoulder farthest from the rope, close to the rope so he could grab it. The crowd beginning to boo at the resiliency of Trent.

Rik stared at Trent's hand that was on the rope, not believing that he still had enough left to escape the pin. He sat up still holding his neck as he mouthed "Dammit!" to himself.
He slowly stood up and walked to the center of the ring and turned to Trent, staring at him, waiting for him to stand up. Rik wasn't sure what he would do next, but he took this time to think about his move and get his breath.

Trent would begin to tear himself to get back to his feet, to out-perform this man who nearly got the win a second ago as he slowly began to shake.
