 ★ Percius ☆ Aster ☆ Galileo ★○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○Percy couldn't help but smile when he saw the boy float off the ground and later touch his feet down again. For some reason, he found it amusing when others did it. Of course, he understood why people would--it was fun. Plus, it was pretty comfortable. Percy waved a little when Karter had introduced him. "Nice to meet you too, Noah!" He greeted him happily, a little too happily. He shook Noah's hand, unsure if the hand was meant for him to shake. But, hey, not like he cared so much, right? Percy didn't think much of the boy's slightly awkward nature. Besides, he was quite the socially awkward kid himself... So Percy saw little to nothing wrong with his social uncertainty. Percy looked at Noah as he let go of his hand and then looked at Karter. "Did you still want to the Practice Tent or...?" He asked. He figured she may have just been going due to boredom. Then again, he could have been wrong... But now that there was another person here, that plan to go might not still be in place. ○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○★Thinking: Person!!★★Feeling: Happy★★My Life: Click here!★

The Lion Tamer

Noah smiled. "Oh if you guys were going to the practice tent could you see if the lions are there?" Noah was a lion tamer after all and for the longest time he lived with them. He found them to be better than people and sometimes he was right. Noah believed Percy was nice and so was Karter. It seemed the two were going to the practice tent. He actually wanted to stop by a greenhouse. It has been a long time since he had seen a flower and he wants to see one. Noah can tell the lions all about them. "I am going to be going to the green house once I drop my stuff off." Noah said and snapped his fingers as a book appeared in his hand. That was all his stuff and he placed it on a nearby counter top.

☽============Karter============☾ Karter nodded as he said it was a pleasure to meet the two of them, and as Percy shook his hand. "Pleasure." She said. She meant 'it's a pleasure to meet you' when she said it, but as she sometimes did had shortened it to 'pleasure'. As Percy asked if she still wanted to go to the practice tent, Karter nodded. "Yeah. I mean, if you for some reason don't want to ya don't have to, but I am." She said.
As Noah asked about the lions, Karter nodded. She actually wasn't sure if the animals for the animal acts would be in the practice tents... Well, they probably would be, but at least out of the way and in cages somewhere so that they couldn't escape or muck up the other acts (or both). She started walking to the door. As soon as she got there though, she did a 180 and turned around, tossing Noah a key. "House key. Unlocks the front door, locks the front door, try not to come back too late, annnd... oh, no stealing no problem." She said, listing things she'd heard when she'd first gotten the dorm. The first couple were self-explanatory, and the last one implied no stealing from other dorms, but could also mean from others within the dorm.
With that said, Karter turned back around, heading for the door. She looked behind her, to see if Percy was still following her, then opened the door. (Exit - Karter) ☽============☼===========☾ I felt the need to explain her just saying pleasure... I've done that before with another character and it caused some confusion.

I'm pretty sure they have lions there. Most likely back stage... I'll tell you if I see them~!" He replied as he slowly drifted towards the door. He nodded again when Noah said he'd be out at the gardens. "Alright, cool. Maybe we'll run into you there if we end up just wandering around..? I don't know, we'll see!" He was then at the door just as Karter had left. "See ya later! Nice meeting you!!" He exclaimed before he left. Percy when out the door and started to pick up his pace, seeing that Karter was a little ways a head of him. "H-hey! Wait up!" That whole 'map of the universe' thing really tired him out... It was worth it though. too much stardust to be focusing on at once... So much energy being used... He needed to be careful about that next time. There was a little bit of silence between words. But not the awkward kind--the comfortable sort of silence. He let his thought wander, avoiding some places of his mind that he did not want to explore. Not that this was unusual though--he would avoid those spots often. After a little while, Percy had randomly come up with a question. "So what kind of music do you like?" He asked, out of the blue, as they finally got to the door. Had they ever talked about music? He couldn't remember... Percy got out his keys from his pocket and unlocked the door to their dorm, holding it open for Karter. ☽============Karter============☾ They walked down the hallway silently for a while, until Percy asked her a question. Music? Hmm... it wasn't exactly a strange question, but kind of random. Either way, what music did she like? Karter took a few minutes before answering. "I don't really have a favorite type of music. I just listen to things... I guess I do like more upbeat music, if anything, though." It was really all she could think of. She listened to music regularly, yeah, but it was usually just anything random. "What about you?" She asked, as Percy took out his keys. She laughed a bit as he said 'after you m'lady'. "Thank you, kind sir." She said, walking inside. ☽============☼===========☾

He shrugged when she returned the question. "Eh... I don't really have a favorite style either. I normally just listen to whatever I feel like listening to. But I can certainly tell you that I don't like Country. It all sounds exactly the same to me." He answered with a little laugh afterwards. After a second or two, he remembered something about food being mentioned before they left the arena. Right, he forgot that they were going to cook something... She never really liked the sound of the acoustic guitar... and that was often featured in country music. When Percy asked about food again and thought for a moment. "Hmm... I dunno. It's ah..." He suddenly had forgotten what they were. Crap! He knew what they were but he'd forgotten what they were called. "They're um... It's a Mexican thing I think. J-just... Wait, I know what it is I just... Forget what it's called..." He stumbled over his words, embarrassed that he couldn't remember what it was called. He knew things about stars thousands of lightyears away yet he couldn't remember the name of one stupid-- "OH!" His face lit up with excitement when he remembered the name of what he was thinking of. Without thinking, he quickly flew over to Karter and put his hands on her shoulders with excitement--as if remembering the name of it was the best thing that had ever happened. "Quesadillas? ... Or can you not have that because... vegan..." His expression deflated only slightly into his usual smile. He looked to where his hands were now and quickly pulled away, chuckling nervously. ☽============Karter============☾ Mexican thing? That was a lot of foods... Karter thought for a few minutes about what he was talking about. Mexican thing was pretty vague... Not that she ate a lot of it, but she did on occasion. "Ummm..." A lot of different foods flew through her head. She took a step back when he put his hands on her shoulders, mainly because she didn't expect it, as he said quesadillas. "Oh, you meant quesadillas." She said, as Percy took his hands off of her shoulders. Could she have them because she was vegan? "Oh Percy you can make just about anything into a vegan food." She said with a smile. Yeah, almost anything could be turned vegan. She could just make him the regular kind and make a vegan one for herself. "Hmm... what do you want on yours?" She asked, walking over to the fridge. She opened it up to show him what there was. ☽============☼===========☾ Nerdy Oatmeal Not entirely sure if this is correct, but it sounds alright to me.

He smiled a little bit more when she'd said that she could probably make it a vegan thing. Well that was good! He didn't like the idea of asking her to cook something that she couldn't eat. Something about that just felt wrong to him. Well, it was different if she could have a veganized version of it but if it was something she couldn't have no matter what... That just seemed to be a little too harsh. When she asked what he wanted on his, he had to think for a moment. "Eh... Maybe... some rice and jalapeño peppers? And cheese of course.~ Do we even have those peppers..." He mumbled the last part to himself. Did they have that? Percy checked the cabinets and found some. "We do!" He grabbed them and placed them on the counter. Percy gave a thankful smile, feeling sort of useless in this situation. "Thanks by the way..."○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○★Where am I? She was a bit surprised that they even had japalenos, seeing as she hadn't remembered buying them and until today she was the only one in the dorm. Well, maybe one of the others had brought them with them... or perhaps she just didn't remember buying them. "Eh? Oh, no problem." She said, a bit confused why he said thanks. He wandered out of the kitchen and into the living room, looking around to see what was around there. He hadn't really been in the living room much and didn't know much about what was there. After some searching around, he found a came console and a couple of video games. Did the school actually provide these or were these someone's? There were some good games too: Mario Kart, that Just Dance game he kept on hearing stuff about, and various Legend of Zelda games. Huh... Interesting. He went back into the kitchen with both and idea and a question in mind. "Hey Karter! I found a couple of video games... Wanna play after we eat or something?" He asked her. In all honestly, he'd never really played any of these much before... He'd heard of them but he was never really all that into video games. They just sounded fun to him... and he was also starting to get bored. ○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○◯○○★Where am I? Dorm★★With whom?: Karter★★★Out.Of.Constellations:Eep! Sorry that took so long. ☽============Karter============☾ Karter continued making the quesadillas, starting with Percy's first. Honestly, she wasn't one of those die-hard vegans, so she didn't mind other people eating food. She wasn't about to kill someone just because they have their own food preferences, and she wasn't going to shove some vegan food down their throat either. Nah, she knew that to most people the food would taste a bit weird. Besides, that was no way to make friends, right? Besides, she did enjoy cooking.
She finished his food just as Percy asked about playing games. Video games? She did recall finding them in a closet a while ago and just pushing them to the side.... Is that where they went? "Eh? Oh, sure. Yours is ready, by the way." She said, setting it on a plate and pushing it towards him on the counter. Then she started making hers, using the vegan ingredients. ☽============☼===========☾ Nerdy Oatmeal Hmm... well, if you needed help I'd be more than willing... not much to do this summer, lol. Yeah, just make like a seprate little topic in the profiles subforum for it with a sticky. And the profiles for them don't need much depth. Just like... name, age, powers, whatever else is necessary.

He was bored and he hated trying to be not bored by himself. Well, Percy never liked being alone in the first place but being bored AND alone was just the worst. He walked closer to where it was on the counter when she said his was done. "Thank you!!" He said with a cheery expression on his face. He wasn't sure if he should a fork and knife or what... Quesadillas were those kind of things that could be eaten either way. He decided to just eat it with his hands. He was never one for grabbing a fork and knife over just eating it right away. Some may consider that to be barbaric but, with all of the weird stuff about Percy, seeming barbaric was the least of his concerns. He, instead of moving to a table, moved to a more open spot on the counter and sat on the counter top--not too far from Karter and her cooking. He set the plate on his lap and picked up the Quesadilla, taking a bite. His legs were swinging a little bit, much like a child's would if sitting in a chair that was too tall for him. Finally found some time to post. smile Yeah, I have a feeling that they'll probably all be really basic. (Which is not something I like to do. I'm all about small detail in profiles. razz ) After this weekend is over I'll probably do stuff with the NPCs and maybe we can start arranging stuff and all. xP
