Like a gift from the heavens it was easy to tell. It was love from above that could save me from hell.
She had fire in her soul, it was easy to see, how the devil himself could be pulled out of me.
There were drums in the air as she started to dance,
Every soul in the room keeping time with their hands.

And we danced on into the night!

━━Ɍυɼ'Дɖɩқą Дɖɖąɧąɼɼą━━

Apparently none of them liked her plan. Perhaps it was a bit stupid and rash of her, but already Adi was weaving together a lie. And they needed one quickly. Clearly as the man in charge came in and looking rather scurvy himself, that he was no idiot and that Isabelle had her own plan. And on that when it happened, the gypsy was not prepared for at all.

The invisibility dropped, Adi stood there gaping as the lady in red and black dulled out a beating for the soldiers around them. One in particular having the unfortunate demise of plummeting into endless abyss.

"This wasn't exactly what I had in mind," exclaimed Adi as she rushed away from Isabelle as some soldiers rushed at them both. Skirting around the cooking fire, the dark haired gypsy was confronted by an armored man on the other side. As she had no where to go without him catching her either with his hands or sword at his hip, she thought quickly. Cools at her feet and with leather boots she kicked up the coals into his eyes and face.

"Argh!!" came his outcry while covering his eyes and face in pain.

Taking advantage of the moment, Adi grabbed a heavy rock and slammed it down on his head as he wasn't wearing a helmet. Lucky for her as she didn't have her daggers on her, or she would have resorted to other means. It was about that time that she noted that Nyru and Claudia were making themselves known. Busy with their own opponents, Adi knew she had to do her best to hold her own against seasoned soldiers.

Seeing two of those dark armored solider headed down the corridor that Croix was down, Adi was all about facing them. "Stay away from my horse!" she yelled and without really thinking out it, raised her palm to her lips, the ruby gem resting there, Adi blew. The flume of fire that came forth was like that of a dragon; hot and consuming it she hadn't caste it away once it had done its job.

The job being causing the men to cry and whimper in pain from the heat of the flames and how it had melted parts of their armor slightly. There was even the smell of charred rock and hair in the air. Adi just glared down at them as they had intended to go near her friend and that was something she would not tolerate. Standing over them, back to the rest of the group, gave a swift kick to them both in the head knocking them out.

━━━━

Like a piece to the puzzle that falls into place, you could tell how we felt from the look on our faces.
We were spinning in circles with the moon in our eyes. No room left to move in between you and I.
Our voices rang like the angels sing. We forgot where we were and we lost track of time,
And we sang to the wind as we danced through the night.

And we danced on into the night!

When Claudia lashed out with her own weapons, she made excessive use with her shadow arrows, he now felt almost guilty that Isabelle didn't pick up Claudia's bow and arrow, it would have to be something they retrieve later! Ducking when Isabelle's victim flew over him and down the Inkwell he gazed back up to find another soldier lashing out his sword down at him. Bringing his own up he reflected the strike and managed to push his opponent back with a grunt. Bringing his blade back he spun on his heel to spin round 180 degrees and slice at the man's throat, a fountain of blood rushing to the floor. Seeing another running at him from behind him he thought quickly and utilised the greater purposes of his weapon. Swapping hands to hold his sword in a dagger position he stabbed it into the ground, it sliced the stone like cake and from behind him the soldier was impale from the crotch upwards, the tip of his now collapsed sword protruding the crown of his skull. With a twitch of his wrist the blade tightened back up into sword form as he stood up. There were 5 left and Claudia was almost at Lucan. But then there was a flare of hot light from the corridor Croix was in!

Isabelle had to cover her eyes, she was just then finishing another soldier with her whip around his throat, her foot on his back. When she pulled her arm down she found Adi had just cast a brilliant spell, unexpected, but brilliant, those soldiers were crying in pain before she knocked them out. 3 more now, well, that was until Isabelle was brought back to reality, shaking what she'd just witnessed from her mind as she flicked her wrist and broke the neck of the soldier below her foot. 2 more defended Lucan and were standing between the man and the others. The first of them blocking Claudia's attempt with a shadow arrow.

"Now, now, you just can't stop killing people can you?!" Lucan applauded. Looking around her said to the dead bodies "You were worth every coin, truly you were" with a sarcastic tone. "Now, i'm sorry that i've trampled over your things, but, you're not going to be needing them for much longer" he said. The two soldiers in a ready stance, not quite sur eof which person to look at as they darted their gaze ebtween the bodies of their allies and their opponents. Nyru was holding his sword up high by hise side ready, and Isabelle has her fists tightened ready encase she had to let loose her whips again. "You won't be taking us today!" retorted Nyru, catching his breath. Lucan could only reply in one way though, as if all of them were beneath him. "Oh, won't I? Let me show you why you're wrong" he threatened.

Lucan then raised his middle-aged veiny hands, his palms crushing the air within his fingers as his two guards collapsed from heart attack. When their bodies hit the floor with a thud, Nyru coudln't help but stair, why would he dor such a thing? He could only believe something more sinister was at work. And then he saw the Prince's mark on Lucan's hand, the same as his own and Claudia's too. It gave a faint glow as the two corpses got back up to their feet, their bones clicking into place, they were like puppets on ridged strins, their faces distorted, no eyes just black sockets, their mouths were stitched shut and their noses were flat.

Claudia Vesslia

The gypsy wasn't terribly impressed with everyone's spurt of spontaneous violent reactions. The street roaming female maintained more class, but was able to handle her own when the time came. Considering the fact that she had third degree burned a offender's eyes and face with coals yet her foot remained unscorched. Maybe it was a defense mechanism that only her people knew because Claudia knew she could never copy that dangerous stunt. Once the temporary blinded guard was lowered to submission, Adi finished him off with a blunt weapon. Afterwards, she tailed the two men that were going to harm the vulnerable Croix. A blinding illumination from some kind of elemental incantation came from the corridor a while later, but the blonde concentrated on her opponents. Nyru and Isabelle were furious competition again the abundant guards.

Her companion had slain more than his fair share and his sibling followed in his blood spilling footsteps. If Claudia's arrows weren't an illusion, she was sure more casualties would have been added to the mental list by now. The shadowmancer provided no mercy as his sword easily penetrated a man from behind, right through the armor too. His godly strength contributed to his almost acrobatic fighting style, but lacked severely in grace. Isabelle could vouch for his none existent artist slaughtering. The Gothic woman broke one of the men's neck without remorse as well leaving a small amount to either coward or protect their supposed general. He saw his men as expendable and valued nothing for their lives or else he would have tried to save them. That would of course result in his life being jeopardy, his occupation and loyalty to a rat like Darris would be hanging be a thread!

Lucan truanted them with their own ersatz crimes, although the deaths of the guards were undeniable. The last of his resistance was aiding him going their best to be aware of their adversaries. Their glory was shortly apprehend after their own leader took their lives. The symbol on the back of his wrist was proof that the Prince of Crows wasn't their ally. He said before that he didn't pick a side, but she would still like to image that he was rooting for them. The captain's unquestionable magic activated and right after the bodies hit the floor they were reanimated once again. Necromancy, a forbidden taboo not meant to be used by the common man. The soldier's faces were no longer perceived as human, but more a marionette in need of repair.

The archer swallowed hard as she took a step back but stopped herself. This had to be an illusion or maybe these corpses were never really alive to begin with. "Sick. No wonder why Darris hired you. Although, your sorcery doesn't scare me." She was bluffing. However, she possessed as much power as he did she just didn't flaunt it. Closing her eyes, she imaged herself appearing right in back of him and with a quick materialization she was where she wanted to be. Pointing an arrow at the superior's back, she got ready to fire.

With the number dwindling down, it was a comfort to see, though she wasn't fond of the killing part of it, sometimes it couldn't be helped. After all, their lives were on the line and Adi was more then aware that her life was forfeit just for helping her friends. Didn't mean she had to kill the soldiers herself and knocking them out she was doing well in at least.

Down to three or four as it were and Lucan one of them, hearing Nyru and the others confronting the greasy middle aged man, she spun about to face them. Facing off, she saw arrows raised and swords at the ready, Isabelle's whip swaying like a cat's tail while stalking prey. Watching as she was, weaponless, she just wasn't sure what was going to happen next till, Lucan dropped his own soldiers with killing magic.

Gasping, the gypsy was least expecting that, however, when they rose again, her hands flew to her mouth in pure shock and horror. "Necromancy..." she murmured from behind her hands. Gypsies appreciated life and savored it, killing discouraged if it wasn't a matter of survival, Necromancy or anything dealing with such dark magic was forbidden. It was a perversion of magic any one who used it was either banished or killed depending on severity of the situation. "You monster...to your own men!"

In her shock, Adi still felt the warm of the large marble of light against her chest. Feeling it beginning to wake she knew it to be giving off a soft glow, seen even through her thin layer of clothing most likely. If he was so freely using Necro magic, then those killed could raise again and it was magic hard to sever. One typically had to slay the magic using controlling the bodies, and that was Lucan...and very few forms of magic could be of use against the walking dead...as far as Adi knew from the stories she was told as a child.

Looking to the others, she had no idea what to do.

'Calm child...we may yet be useful in this battle. Do not fear; nothing will become of you while I am with you.'

Adi heard the voice again, clearer then it had been last night when speaking with the Prince of Crows. Th voice so crisp and clear she swore it was coming from outside her but trully no one else heard it but her while it remains in her own head.

'...who are you? Please, tell me?' she thought, speaking within her own mind having a conversation she found odd, and obviously distracting at that time.

Lucan was ready, he had his heartless men by his side and he felt more than happy reassuring himself that they could bend to fit any situation, literally. He revelled in the experience his bounty's were in as they watched his dead men reanimate themselves, he watched as they gasped and repeated what their minds told them. Nyru couldn't bring words out of his mouth though, aside from seeing Necromancy within his own homeland, he was also seeing the same mark on Lucan's hand conjure all this. What had he and Claudia been cursed with?!

But Claudia was quicker to act, he saw her vanish before his eyes, fear shrouded him mind but when she re appeared his fear softened. She was getting less rusty with the 'blink' ability, a word that somehow seemed to be engraved in his skull whenever he thought of the skill. She had him, there was no way Lucan could retaliate or he'd die. Nyru and the others were ready to strike if teh 'zombies' attacked too.

When Claudia's arrow was shot, shock bewildered Nyru when in a split second he saw Lucan vanish and the arrow head pop out the front of one of the zombie's gut's. IT gave an expression of disgust, then seconds moved like hours as Nyru exclaimed "Claudia!". The zombie appeared to be so filled with hatred for it's punctured gut that it swung its arm round with monumental force, like it was made of cement. The other one meanwhile made it's way to Isabelle. Nyru then saw Lucan appear right before him, "arh!!!" he exclaimed in protest. Their swords clashes, he could feel Lucan's strength coming down on him whilst he heard Isabelle's cries of anger, throwing her whip around to protect herself and Adi from the other zombie. Her chaotic yet dancing whip flowed around her effortlessly and stung like a lightning strike as it left soldering scars on the zombie, but it wouldn't die. "Nyru!!!" she exclaimed! "I can't keep him off forever!"

"Got a problem of my own, Isabelle!" he shouted back, gritted his teeht and through his helmet giving a scornful look to Lucan he was grinning with the knowledge of getting his reward for killing the murderers. The zombie on Claudia was reckless, bending in weird ways, as was the other one, they were both chaotic and were showing no signs of giving up. Isabelle was becoming more and more stressed keeping Adi and herself safe, even turning to use magic as she used her spare hand to release a soldering ball of ashes that should have turned the zombie to dust. It didn't, it just crushed upon itself on the walking dead's flesh.

"What do we do with a drunken murderer?" Lucan asked, with a childish nursery rhyme tone to his words. "Get away from me!" Nyru retaliated, pushing him forwards and making some free space between them. "We stuff him in a sack and throw him over... " Lucan then said, but Nyru was put off. As he stared at the mad man he saw the Prince of Crows, he swore he saw the Prince of Crows standing behind his shoulder, far off in the dark corner, and that gave enough time for Lucan hold up his palm and send Nyru flying against the wall, another flick of his hand, Nyru watched the mad man then summon forth a swarm of rats fromt he ground, from a shadowy pool of dark magic. Nyru watched fromt he floor as he quickly attempted to stand and start slashing away at the Rats, his sword turning to whip mode to slice and dice with not-so-majestic moves. Lucan then said

"Feed him to the rats for dinner, Slice his throat with a rusty cleaver, Early in the morning"

Adi was just as shocked at the convoluted act as she was. Even though the man had no remorse he had an infinite number on necromanced induced soldiers on his side. Lucan must have formulated his tactics before hand because at this point he was trying to wear them all down. He could capture all by himself and Darris would simply praise him for his efforts or kill him. Claudia's arrow was released, but instead of protruding through her target's stomach it hit one of the zombies. The knew controlled puppets assailed on her and Isabelle by Lucan's command as he found a new target. Materializing in front of Nyru, the two clashed blades neither one letting up on the other.

The sibling was experiencing the difficult caliber of fighting the undead because there was really no specific way to re-eliminate it. One of the zombies floated towards her hacking it's sword back and forth. Under, sideways, and from above the archer maneuvered through the blows not receiving one scratch. However, that changed drastically when she head a cacophony of armor impact a wall. For some reason, Nyru must have become distracted and Lucan took the opening to propel his opponent. The zombie lunged forward, it's sword projected, and since Claudia was up against a wall it pinned her to said wall in the shoulder. The girl let out a cry as the fresh smell of iron invaded her nostrils. The distorted marionette moved its somewhat of a face close to her and the mixed rotting aroma of iron and decay made her sick to her stomach to the point where she gagged.

Thinking of a way to relieve herself of this situation, she activated her gift once more and vanished from that spot. A blood trail was left in her wake, but a zombified creature would never notice unless it was given the will too. Appearing behind it, the blonde shot several arrows in its back doing the same act it bestowed upon her. Once the guard was pinned into place, it was a wonder how she could still aim with dead accuracy considering her injury, she rushed towards the main enemy.

Nyru was being pulverized by shadow rats, Isabelle was still fighting with her zombie and Adi was still traumatized by the magic she had witnessed. Claudia lifted her bow wincing as her arms lifted, and readied an arrow at the Victorian captain. She wanted to penetrate his neck and rendered him unconscious at least when she gets close enough that is.

'Now is not the time for that. You're companions need you Adi.'

Her focus returning to the world around her, she gazed at the fighting going on around her. So caught up in her own mental conversation she had droned everything out. Isabelle was struggling with a zombie creature solider with her whip, while Claudia was doing much the same and soon her cry of pain filling the air. The blond fighting back, Adi's attention was drawn to Nyru who was flung and clattered to the ground. He was facing Lucan and he wasn't so cowardly and sneaky as he looked, but actually had some tricks up his sleeve.

The trick being a mischief of rats being summoned up.

She hated rats, specially the none pet version where they stamper around the streets and sewers collecting who knows what sort of illness. These those weren't really true rats but magic taken form of the rats. Not sure what to do with the rats she gazed around to find something to use and be useful instead of standing there. In the process she found him. Standing there, leaning against the wall to the entrance of the corridor that Croix was stabled down.

Eyes locking, Adi could only stare shocked that the Prince of Crows had shown up then and there. But then his eyes wavered from her and the gypsy followed his line of sight. Where it led to the zombie with arrows sticking out of it, and its staggering steps and raised weapon was meant for Claudia and Nyru as they were distracted by the rats.

"No!" Adi cried and rushed over, before she knew it she pushed the thing off balance, and her almost with it.

'Now. Concentrate. Focus all the energy you can to conjure up light in your hand and cast it toward the creature!'

Not the time to argue and the voice never leading her astray thus far, Adi did just that. Standing over the groaning creature with its focus back on her, she raised her hand towards the once solider. Gradually a light formed around her fingers and palm, there was even evidence of a golden dusty dripping from her fingers as if the light was solid. The concentration on Adi's face was harsh due to effort, and she only just manage to dodge to the side when the creature swept its weapon out at her. The gypsy just leaning back enough that the sword grazed her upper arm causing more of that coppery iron smell to fill the air.

'Do it now!'

With a battle cry, Adi unleashed the magic light in her hand, dripping from her fingers like liquid gold and flakes of silver. Light flared to life as it was unleashed, its target the zombie's chest. Though there was no sound the light washed over the Inkwell in a soft wave while behind it was a smaller but still surprising shock-wave.

Adi hoped it did the trick to kill these sad but deadly things.

Still standing and weaving his chain of blades around him, it would nick at the rats and send a couple flying or shred one or two here and there, but more kept coming. Isabelle was watching her brother fending off the rats, luckily they weren't too much of a nuisance thanks to his armour, but she could tell he was struggling. Even Claudia was having trouble, no, she was in immense trouble. But then she vanished and Isabelle could only wish she would do something and quick. Trying to look over her shoulder she felt the sweat on her forehead run down her face, she was trying to hard to keep the undead at bay but she couldn't even turn it into ashes. This was some powerful magic and she dreaded to think where, or whom it was being delivered by.

Isabelle could tell that Adi was pre occupied, but she didn't have the time to question it. Then Adi took the initiative, and Isabelle muttered her name as she had to move to the side to let her do whatever she wanted to do. She saw the golden drops of ... magic leaving her finger tips, it was like she'd taken the Heavens and liquefied it. Then with the sudden growth of light Isabelle saw in Adi's face she was going to do something. Covering her eyes she was just in time as to not be blinded.

Nyru didn't hear anything, he had just brought his blade back to its normal sword formation to protect himself from Lucan when the burst of light caused him to see nothing but whiteness. For a split second he wondered if he had died, and was going to be tried before the Angels for injustice and servitude to the Underworld... and then a small shock-wave penetrated his flesh and left hsi body behind him, thumping with a small, earthy 'boom' on the wall behind him, he heard all the meandering deaths of the rats at this moment, reminding him he was still alive. When the explosion had subsided, his ears were adjusting to sound again after the shock-wave, a high pitched ringing in the back of his mind. His eyes were taking their time to adjust too, his vision blurred and slowed.

With his head lifting heavily from his shoulders he saw Claudia with her empty bow raised, and between her and him was Lucan with an arrow that dematerialised before him, leaving an empty hole right through his throat. Isabelle meanwhile, she was uncovering her eyes when she saw Adi's raised palm and before her was no undead creature. Infact both the undead had just... vanished, purged from the Inkwell. Lucan then fell to his knees, trying to say something but the air in his lungs unable to escape the ways it should be. Nyru took the moment of opportunity to say "Slice his throat with a rusty cleaver..." as he clenched his fist and swiped his blade horizontally, a clean cut on his neck as it began to tip like a cut-down tree on its plummet to the earth. "...Early in the morning" he finally repeated with the sound of his head on the ground.

Breathing heavily, he stared over the body as it fell to the floor, his arms hung loosely after the adrenaline was beginning to subside and realisation was dawning. Isabelle was the first to speak, "Blo*dy hell". Nyru then replied "I'd rather not face two realms of evil, thanks Isabelle..."
"You chopped his head off!"
"Claudia already killed him! Besides, who made light?!"

The two siblings were almost comical i their style of throwing comments at each other. In some ways, he wasn't too sure why he cut his head off... it felt like a good thing to do at the time, atleast he shouldn't raise from the dead, should he?! Isabelle had her whips wrapped up around her arms again and her hands on her hips as she stared between the three of them.

Nyru continued to struggle with the brigade of shadowy rodents. He wasn't even aiming accurately or anything just swinging his sword back and fourth blindly. This could catch her ever so vigilant companion off guard to the point where Lucan could end his existence in a second. At the least the conceded Victorian captain was taking his sweet time to soak up the glory of these supposed last moments for the team. He had no idea the cogent heroes that the queen chose to protect this city from sin. The red think blood gushed from her impaled shoulder, but defeating Lucan and saving her friends was a major priority. For all they knew, Darris probably all ready figured the fate of his precious necromancer and is on his way to correct the task himself. The real battle had only begun and their insignificant victory starts here.

Isabelle actions were not avoided and made clear to the rest of the members in the room. She let her arrow fly and then feel to the ground out of sheer exhaustion and blood loss. The golden silver flakes whisked out around the room enveloping it into a blanket of warm commandeering instant death, for just the zombies. The undefinable human animated figures were wiped clean from their places and no trace of them was left behind. The same happened to the corpses that laid upon the ground in piles. Whatever sorcery this was, it was extremely usual. Adi had unleashed a power like this before right? Claudia maybe imaged an event like this one occurring in some state of unconsciousness and that's what was probably taking over her at the moment.

The over vibrate light ceased rather quickly and through the female's blurred vision she had stuck Lucan where she wanted. The male desperately gasped for air, but his time was up. Nyru decided to finish the job with such finesse it was uncanny. He took the leaders words and used them to his own advantage which was a little scary to watch. Even his sibling was shocked at his ruthless action considering Lucan was already on the brink of death. The blonde precariously stood up and supported her frame on the nearest wall. The two were questioning who produced the light and it shouldn't be hard to guess who. After all, no one else in their group possessed the pure powers of a goddess.

The archer glanced to Adi and smiled which was basically congratulating her efforts. "Adi...can you please aid me?" She asked the gypsy hoping she wasn't to weak because she couldn't exactly wrap her injury herself, not efficiently anyway. Sliding herself against the wall over to the beds, she ripped off the sheets and torn a piece of the cloth off with her mouth and good arm. The long shred of fabric should suffice for a little while until she would need to dress it again. "Now we're are officially criminals. The causalities were either already dead or just men waiting to return home to their families. Lucan may have been the worst of our problems but killing him was unnecessary." She admitted openly.

She wasn't sure what to expect, anything dealing with the sudden light magic she possessed and wielded she didn't know what to make of. However, she was still not expecting the significant fall out that did happen. The bright lights never fazing her just simply like the sun was shining and colors were a little more washed out was all. Adi in that second of time where everything seemed to stand still, she watched the creature be rendered to ashes, and then those ashes rendered to nothing.

The gypsy heard the clatter of her comrades affecting my her attack but she couldn't find the chance to look up. Rather she was staring at the spot before her where there was nothing left of her enemy. Hearing a bit more commotion, Adi did eventually look up from the spot to find Lucan without a head and said head on the ground. Normally it probably would have bothered her, but she was still in too much shock of what had just happened.

Gazing back at her palm there was no evidence of the light; no dripping gold light as if it was actual granules of sand. There was nothing, no evidence of what she had just done and there was no evidence except for memories and wounds.

'Not bad...but you need some training to refine those new skills.'

It took Nyru's outburst of a question to draw her finally to reality. "...I...I did..." she said aloud, before Claudia drew her attention and the gyspy saw the wounded state she was in. "Oh my, yes of course Claudia," she exclaimed as the woman made her way to the bed and started making strips for a bandages. Adi was quick to get her med supplies from Croix and returned again.

Cleaning away the drying and still flowing blood, Adi knew the bleeding had to stop before she could do anything. So take some crushed herbs that were in a past, and putting it on the cloth, the gypsy applied some pressure to the wound as the archer spoke.

"Complaining about it changes nothing though," she stated smoothly while knelt by the bed. "What need to worry about is how they found us and where we are going to hide next? Just when you were getting better you get hurt again..." Adi said shaking her head as she spoke more to Claudia just then.

Isabelle shrugged off the over exaggerated kill of Lucan just then. Matters moved to the more important problem of Claudia's wound now, leaving it for Nyru to solve the obvious of whom's light it was. As Adi quickly began remedying, Nyru glanced to Isabelle he returned the same stare, that was powerful magic, suddenly Adi was perhaps the most important woman in the world right now.

Then Claudia spoke about killing Lucan as an unnecessary option. "He did just try to kill us..." Nyru attempted saying, his helmet folding up into a circlet on his head. Then Adi voiced her opinion. "I was just trying to put up a rune to stop them from finding our tracks... before they found us, ironically" Isabelle said, looking over towards the exit.

It was then that the bottom of the abyss that was the Inkwell gave a low, quiet, thundering bellow from its depths. Nyru took that moment to inch his way further away from the walled hole and said "Well the sooner we get away from here the better...".

Looking at Claudia, Nyru noted how his sister was still pristine, not eve hurt in the slightest. "So where do we go now? There's no one we can trust..."
"there is... one place" Isabelle then said, gazing at the three with an almost lost but hopeful expression. She then sighed and admitted "I shouldn't be telling you this. Uh. No, it's stupid. " she shook her head. "Isabelle" Nyru repeated. She then crossed her arms and said "There's one place that no one knows about, not even the Guildeam. We've been keeping it quiet back at the Occult for some time now. We made an agreement with them to keep them hidden"
"who?"
"Therians."

Claudia Vesslia

after the extraordinary gypsy admitted using the light magic everyone was astonished including Claudia. Woman was hard to impress, but Adi seemed to further engage her by her acts of power and kindness. The raven color haired woman obliged the archer by retrieving her first aid kit that was in the bag attached to her horse, and property dressed her wound. She winced in pain at the sudden but necessary pressure to halt the blood flow. The kit bandaged would be more efficient than pieces of bed sheet cloth anyway and Adi was an expert in remedies and nursing. The blonde knew that continuing to over assess the current situation wasn't going to change a thing. Nyru agreed with Adi by blaming the enemy for challenging them and in truth Lucan was the main cause. He blindly followed Darris' command and battling the "criminals" they claimed to be.

In other ways, this statement is contradicted because she believes no one them were right and the final result shouldn't have been the way it was. If Isabelle's spell would have been installed soon, they could have escape with out the eccentric violence. Moans and rumbles were made from the well below probably from some guards that could have phenomenally survived such a treacherous fall. Her shadowmancer comrade wanted to know where to go next, but if she knew she would have voiced the answer long ago. Isabelle on the other hand, told them of one place where their chances of safety are high.

Therians. A deal apparently with the Therian was kept a secret from the Guildeam which is theoretically impossible. They know everything about Occult, there is no way this information could be true. Although, in Claudia's condition she believes anything at this point. "Great. Then let's go. I'm sure we have limited time as it is before the next group arrives to apprehend us."

Busy with Claudia's wound she saw none of the glances and stares directed at her and between the siblings involving her. No, Adi's focus was else where and was only paying enough attention to the words that were said at her back. Hearing how Isabelle was just putting the rune up to cover up their tracks when they found them the gypsy rolled her eyes.

She never said it, but in her head she was thinking on reasons why Isabelle hadn't done that last night to cover their way here and evidence of their stay. The whole mess could have been avoided, however complaining or dwelling on it would change nothing.

Bleeding stopped, Adi began apply a numbing ointment when the rumbling came from the depths of the Inkwell. A wandering weary glance towards the dark opening she had to agree with Nyur. "I completely agree, but just what exactly was that sound?" the raven woman asked, as a non-native she had no knowledge of these Inkwells. Her focus though returned quickly to preparing a sterile needle and thread to begin making a few needed stitches to Claudia's wound.

Talk moved onto more important matters though and that being where they were headed. They needed to leave the Land of Crows for now, while making their way to where whatever was shown on that piece of paper. Regrouping and getting their feet under them first though was priority. Isabelle was hesitent with the place she was potentialy offering and Adi glanced her way.

"Isabelle, it never hurts to offer up an options, it may be all we have. If there were gypsies nearby I would suggest camping with them, but they aren't on your land we'd have to cross the sea for that," Adi said in a persuading tone and offering up her own suggestion if the opportunity presented itself. She wasn't however expecting the Therians to be brought up as an options. "What...the Wolves?!" she exclaimed clearly disbelieving.

Adi was just remembering she was the puny human weakling in the group. And finishing up stitching the wound and bandaging it, the gypsy was done with her work. Looking at her own wound, it was superficial, already the bleeding had nearly stopped. Luckily the sword had missed the soft faded swirls of ink etched into Rur'Adika's skin, it would scar however, her inked design would be unblemished. So using a strip of sheet, Adi wrapped it and left it be for now.

Nyru, having nudged closer to Adi then added a quick reply of "I dread to think, no one knows what's at the bottom" with wide eyes. As his sister spoke of an option, Adi helped her to finally come out with it. It was a suggestion that Nyru was shocked to hear, and Adi was correctly questioning it too! Nyru had to c**k a brow as Isabelle gave them all a stare. "The Therians... yes" she said, making sure not to call them just 'wolves', it would be against the Occult's rules.

"W-where..." Nyru struggled to get a word out of his mouth, there were too many questions. "When... no, no, no" he then added quickly, his fingers to the side of his forehead. "They don't exist, do they?"
"Of coarse they do" Isabelle stung back, "Several decades ago, we don't know where from, we don't know how, but the Therians re-emerged in Non-magic Earth, they came to Absólúte for protection until they knew the Guildeam would trust them. They've been living in the Iringod Spires and Notchwood for several years now"
"And the guildeam doesn't even know? My god, would they not have been better off just telling the Guildeam they were back? I hate to think what the court would do for them hiding in The Wilds..."
"That's the thing! Because they ewre the original natives of the Land of Crows before the prince and his vampires kicked them out, they don't trust us Daywalkers still and they most certainly don't trust the guildeam, because the syndicate never helped them"

The gypsy seemed more preoccupied with the commotion from the bottom of the well like everyone else was. The girl was rather understanding for Isabelle's sake as she worked intensively on Claudia's massive wound. Stitches were required for the minor injury that she perceived as irrational, but didn't bother to argue with the woman. The sterilized hooked needle glided through her skin smoothly and each time felt a like a small pinch that was barely effective. The blonde would wince every few seconds, but Adi's gentle touch was comforting for the most part. The light wielding female finished and properly bandaged her so the wound wouldn't get infected or anything.

Nyru was having difficulties believing in something that was told as a fairy tale for years and years. The sibling spun a tale of whimsical portions about the mystical Therians that arose in Non-magic Earth secretly without the Guildeam's interference. Nyru began warming up to the idea of these natives and Adi was already on board with all the details. The blonde archer sat back listening not obligated to offer with the fiction set before her. If this was the most sufficient route then she would rather shut up and follow.
