Stormy had meant to come by earlier, but important things had happened. Namely naps and a mission and a little plan making, but mostly naps. She was another chipper face at the dreary-looking stand, eager to prove herself worthy of a carrier, too.
"Miss Molly, Miss Mimsy, Abbi, nice to see you!" she chirped, pleased she didn't stumble over the names with how quickly she uttered them. Was there a line? Oh yikes . . . Well, she could wait! Stormy turned to the proprietors with a smart salute. "I am also here and ready to prove myself worthy! Eventually! Whenever you're ready, I mean!"

Solia glared when she was called a teen witch wannabe. She'd down out of that phase thank you though she might have had a Mami costume in the works that as puella magi not witch. If she was a witch she'd want to be her own witch, one that had witch space that consisted of cute dogs and maybe a theme park? Yes a theme park witch that was brilliant- she'd get to work on that costume later. But first, she now had a minipet carrier. And that ment she could carry around a minipet whereever she wanted. To the library! The cafeteria! Or even her drom room! Or maybe she could just cram someone's office full of minipets that was always a good idea. But- "Hey wait did that minipet just talk or is that some kind of new like, life invention thingy for recon missions via minipets? Do we have retcon missions that use minipets? We should if we don't also that pom was rude." Solia hadn't even said hello.

The reaction from Oz was underwhelming, but Molly more than made up for it. Mimsy smiled a tiny, proud smile at the Poms, basking in the ego-stroking as she took the carrier that was handed to her. She looked at Stormy, gave her a little wave with no change to her expression, frowned at Solia (who she had still not forgiven for invading her personal space to talk love-infused tea and blowjobs), and turned to leave without a word.

"Wrong", corrected Zoe spitefully at Molly's reply, "you leave them be. Because it hurts when you groom them an you make them suffer." She paused to let that all sink in and then she smiled not kindly at all, "But if you think torturing and mistreating them is the right thing to do, then be my guest." A cage was placed on the table.

Oz quietly placed cages over for Abbi, Solia, and Stormy and then used his fingers to make a shoot himself in the head sort of motion. He was probably being overly dramatic. Anyone who reached for the cage would get a very vehement 'I hate you so much'.

Melvin needed minipets, and while there were plenty on the island, a carrier was just another transport device that would serve his minipet gathering needs. He could probably stuff a few in one if he Tetris that out correctly.
Walking over to a stack of carriers that drove his OCD tendencies wild, he looked at the two that seemed to be giving them out. "I heard there were carriers being given out on loan." And not ridiculously overpriced like SOME people would. "I was interested in possibly acquiring one." Clearly, which was why he was here.

"Eh," sighed Zoe noncomittally. She had officially hit her quota of too many people; their terrible horrific energies were sucking the life right out of her and she barely had enough to shuffle her cards weakly and stare right at Melvin. There was a long pause. "What is a rare elite."

He didn't know why he was being asked such a random question. "A very rare variation of a minipet." Ones that were documented in various files in the library and other databases. He didn't actually ever see one himself, but he heard about them. Those tended to be the minipets set aside for special research and usually kept in the best tanks if anyone ever had the insane luck to ever capture one.

"Actually," Zoe was about to correct until she noticed Melvin's coat. Life Hunters. "Never mind. Just remember the cages are for companions not for that- those terrible experiments which should be all banned. Every day minipets die because of you. You should be ashamed of yourself."
She handed him a cage anyway.

With a bright squeal of delight Abbi reached forward and snatched up her cage, pressing it to her chest so she could wrap her arms around it, even if it required her to stick them straight out in front of her and create a bit of an awkward standing position. The recitation from Oz of "I hate you so much" didn't phase the girl at all and she only smiled at him all the more. "That's ok because I don't know you but you gave me a carrier thingy and its gonna have something fuzzy in it and it will love me." She paused and squealed again. "Also thank you!" With that done she whirled around to chat with Stormy and Molly, about to start her bunny hop to show her excitement but figuring that shaking up the carrier would be a bad idea. Instead, she wiggled around in front of them. "Look I got a thing, its a thing O-M-G I am so exicte!" The fact that she didn't get a 'Miss' in front of her name from Stormy only temporarily dulled her excitement. Mostly because there were more important matters at hand. "So where do I get one of these cute critters from?"

Honestly, Molly had accidentally tuned Zoe out after she told her she was wrong. But…how could she be wrong? She was taught how to take care of the Canon Cats by Miss Clarice…so there was no way it could be wrong! Thus, in Molly’s head, Zoe was spitting blasphemy, because nothing could contradict Miss Clarice. Maybe Zoe also hadn’t had the time to see the Canon Cats yet! Oh, yes! Molly gasped, and clapped her hands together a bit. “I’ll show you!” She informed her cheerfully. “You can come play with all the Canon Cats one day and I’ll show you! But thank you so much!” She took the carrier. “I’ll take good care of this!” With her carrier in hand, Molly turned around, but paused as she was addressed by both Stormy and Abbi. “Oh, hello!” She chirped. “It’s so good to see you both!” She didn’t need to ask if they were getting cages too, since they already had some. “Um…” Molly blinked, looking a bit lost at Abbi’s question. “I…uh…I’m not sure…?” Now thinking about it, it was coincidence and luck apparently that Molly more or less got ninety-nine Canon Cats.

Solia didn't know an Abbi. But she wanted to. So, "Hello friend!" The young death trainee said to the fellow trainee. Hold her own cage tight under her arms, Solia vaguely wondered what kind of things this Abbi was planning. "Are you going to get a bunch of fox fires because if you do don't worry a lot of them aren't actually on fire but some do occasionally catch fire but just the really rare ones most just turn into living fuzzy balls of static discharge." Stormy she knew only in passing as the girl Gale liked, and as for Molly? "I like your freckles!"

F-friend? But they hadn't even exchanged names! Blinking and confused by this onslaught of bright kindness, Abbi stared at the new girl. What was a fox fire? Did she mean firefox? What did a web browser have to do with cages? Ok so wait they weren't web browsers they were actual critters but wait they're not on fire oh gosh Abbi was really confused. "Um I uh... I don't know what I'm gonna get? I'm not... Not really sure where to get a pet to go in here?" She paused and looked down at her cage, then at the other girl's she was speaking to, then at Molly's and finally at Stormy's. Molly had... Canon Cats? But she wasn't sure where she got them?? After some more pouting Abbi looked at the new girl she didn't know. "Do you know where to get a pet? Cause I really, really want one like a lot." So obviously she should help her get one! Perfect plan!

He was so ready for this. The gigantic minipet guidebook bestowed upon him had been pawed through several times and looked official enough to where he could study it and not have some nosy hunter check in on him or look at him discouragingly. It had the added benefit of putting some muscle on his scrawny arms; he was getting used to the weight. He ignored anyone else at the table, pushing past them in order to place the guidebook down on the table and place his hands over it. "I am here," he announced, "To get a carrier in order to stage a rescue. Ask away, carrier keepers."

Alas poor Abbi, once met, a Solia was not easily lost from the idea that kindness equaled friendship. So thus, Abbi was now friend. Congrats Abbi. "Minipets." Solia told Abbi, grinning ear to ear. Really, if this was the first time the other trainee had been exposed, Solia was happy to help the other girl understand just how amazing FEAR could be.. and how cute was also deadly (and sometimes melty). "They are like tiny animals made of FEAR. We keep them in the life labs. The closest we have to pets on the island. And of course you want one. Everyone wants one. Because they are cute and awesome that's why." She offered Abbi a hand to be shaken. "Solia Delacroix. You new, or just new to minipets?"
