~~Serena Fayne~~  Serena stared right back, she didn't mind his eyes at all. She was rather drawn to them in fact. Though she was interested now.
"You can see my aura? Could you describe it to me? What does that mean?"

Celdor shook his head.
"It's not like that, Miss Fayne. A person's aura tells me how their moral compass points. For example, yours points towards good, but slightly away from order. That tells me you're a good person and likely to follow most laws, but willing to break the ones that you disagree with."
He glanced around the room.
"I get that from most people here. The UEF members more than anyone else."

~~Serena Fayne~~ Serena looked about the Mess at the few stragglers left about the room. She could see that they had all eaten everything on their plates but it seemed they were to fatigued to move to another part of the ship. She turned back to Celdor, watching him with interest.
"So you don't see colours, like a normal aura reading? I read it in a book somewhere from an Earth that doesn't exist anymore. They used to see colours. And each colour meant something different. Red was anger... Yellow, happy I think. Purple was nearing enlightenment. And Pink was Love..."
She held her coffee cup tightly, she still hadn't drank from it. She looked down into it's milky contents a slight blush forming.

Celdor cocked his head to the side as he refilled his cup.
"The books you read were full of nonsense. The shape and vitality of the aura are what we look at. There isn't really a color, per say."
He thought about his next words for a moment.
"The best way to describe it, is we see the feel of the person's aura."

~~Serena Fayne~~ Serena looked up at him slowly, her gaze locking with his.
"Perhaps it wasn't nonsense to them...Perhaps they really could see colour and came to know what each colour meant. It also said that children can see auras naturally, without being taught but that as we grow older we forget hoe to see and so we lose the talent. Maybe I should try to learn and see if I see things differently to you."

"Your scientists did a study on that. Only Dragons can see auras naturally. Other have to have some sort of aid, such as the UEF GIBCE and the Hunter Sight. Not even children can see aura's naturally."

Serena finally took a sip of her coffee, it was the perfect temperature and just to her liking. She wondered what would happen if she just spelt it out to him... how would he react?
"Celdor, I know you probably have a lot to do... And there's nowhere we can really go... But would you perhaps, like to get to know me a bit better?"

"I make it my mission to get to know every crewmember. Aside from knowing their auras, that is. However, I'm just passing through, so the crew of the Unity will remain a mystery."

~~Serena Fayne~~ Serena could feel her jaw dropping. She had literally just asked Celdor on a date as best she could, surely he couldn't have missed that? Obviously she just wasn't his type. She quickly shut her mouth and clamped her teeth together in case a random fly decided to buzz in there.
"Ahh, tell me, Celdor... Have you ever had relations with a woman?"

~~Serena Fayne~~ Serena noticed the tinge and her smile brightened.
"Please forgive me Celdor, I was just trying to get to know you a bit better."
She said this with the biggest smile on her face and she couldn't for the life of her, wipe it off. She was so radiant that a few of the men close by actually rubbed their eyes, not believing that the cook could transform so.
