"I can't help but agree with you there, but that is another matter" she said with a sigh as she looked at her mate "and I agree but this was wasn't my fault! That was my fathers" Lemonade said as she reached home "daddy said Red and Maria were fine, they were kind, caring ponys who just needed to have a chance to prove themselves after having a bad run in life, he is my father, I didn't know he couldn't be trusted! Well he can be trusted...you know what I mean!" She said as she saw her father and mother just sitting there, waiting. "But you!" She said as she walked over to her father and slapped him across the face, not once but three times "how dare you!" She said, seeing red now that she saw her father and being upset a bit from Tira and his surprise announcement wasn't good either "you are nothing but a murderer! A genocidal murderer! How could you!? And you!" She said glaring at her mother "how can you be in love with a man who helped nearly wipe out a race of magical creatures and kill masses more!?

I just learnt the truth, the truth that you and Red would NOT tell me! You wanted me to accept him and his sister into my home, a home where I was bring up CHILDREN, YOUR GRANDCHILDREN, and never cared to tell me that he was the ring master to the mass killing spree he went on when he killed thousands of gargoyles and other creatures! No wonder no one likes you there, it isn't because of your personality it is because of your background! How could they?! You helped Red kill many beings back in the Magical Realm, you helped destroy families and lives! You were HAPPY to do it! I don't care if you killed your own father, that is your business but you took the lives of others, thousands of others! HOW COULD YOU!?" Lemonade screamed at him as the tears started to fall down her face.

"Lem I..." Jack started as he tried to reach out and pull her into a hug.

"Don't touch me! As far as I am concerned you are NEVER welcomed here again! Mother, you are an idiot for staying with him! Both of you, get out! I don't want to hear any excuses, just leave!" She said as she turned her back on her parents and started out of the dining room, not even noticing that some of the children were still there but she didn't care either "oh and Jack" she said as she stopped at the door and turned around and and stared at him, the coldest, deadliest stare she could of ever given anyone and in a voice so still and so serious she carried on "you are no longer my father! And you" Lemonade looked at Red "are fired!" She said as she carried on out of the kitchen and headed towards the stairs, passing Maria on the way.

"Lem...sweetheart...what's wrong?" She asked as she stopped and looked at her.

"As for you and Red, you can stay but Red is fired" She said as she carried on up the stairs and down the hall to her bedroom, slamming the door and climbing onto her bed and just clung to the teddy bear that Darmani had gotten her once and just stayed there, crying, what a night this was, she had to talk to the Elders tomorrow and yet now that she knew this why would they let Arch come home with her? Her Ex father was one of the ones who helped kill the race and she had been harbouring the man in charge of the genocide, this was going to turn to custard, she could see that now which just made her roll over, face the wall, put the pillow over her head and just cried.

Frostbite sighed and looked to Jack "anything else you were keeping from me?" Frostbite asked as she glared at her husband "you said you were in jail because of your father you NEVER mentioned that you were placed in there because of millions of others deaths" She said as she got up "Jack I..." She growled as she shook her head "bye kids, I will talk to you all later" she said as she glared at Jack "you can find somewhere else to sleep for at least the next month because I don't want you anywhere near me!" She said as she opened a portal and left, closing it behind her.

"Way to go dad, congratulations on helping break this family up, no wonder my older two sisters care to kill me, they have their own father as a role model" he said as he turned and started to walk over to the stairs, deciding to go see if his sister was alright.

Jack sighed and opened a portal, ignoring Red when he came forward to him, Jack left and Red just turned away and went into the kitchen.

Lemonade, for a few moments said nothing, did nothing, just laid there crying, she was pretty much in the way of being inconsolable but after about five minutes or so she calmed herself "does it look like it? My father and Red just broke this family up, I have to go face the Elders tomorrow about adopting a Gargoyle, a creature from a race Jack and Red nearly wiped out and do you know what they are going to say? I can see it now" she said as she took the pillow off her head and looked at her mate "no. Why wouldn't they? I am...WAS harbouring the ring leader of the genocide and Jack was the side kick, I made friends with the race that was nearly killed out because of the two ponys down there in OUR HOUSE! Sorry but I do believe that I have to tell Arch that it is off, I can't go to the Elders, the ones who run the whole of the Magical Realm and it's creatures and tell them that I wish to adopt a Gargoyle when they KNOW I am the one person who shouldn't.

I can't even make a good story as to why Arch can be brought here, what can I say? I Can give him a home where one of his murderers still, technically, can come and go because of his grandchildren? I can't put him in that danger, I understand my father may have turned over a new leaf but if that were true then why did the Elders allow him to be let go under their supervision? They may have seen he has turned over a new leaf or else Red couldn't of been vouched for but you see that doesn't bring back their family and their home! Mysteria was once the main land for Gargoyles, some moved on to other places, like some buildings in Solstice and other places but the majority stayed home because the land was vast and bountiful and many clans lived there and some got along but others did not like Archs clan and half of the others up on that rooftop.

But in a whole there was one thing that always happened when the time came and that was band together and help one another, no matter how much their own clan hated each other they would always come to help because they knew that if one clan could be wiped out then another could and so on and so forth and so their petty dislikes about another clan were stopped for the time when battle called but because of Jack and Red they ended up losing a massive battle." She said as she sat up and stayed clinging to the beat "I befriended the one race my cook and ex father helped destroy, I have no right befriending them, I have no right to even be in their presence so no, Darmani, I am not alright because of those two down there I have lost any right and privilege to have Arch here and right now I hate that then the fact my family is now a complete and utter disgrace!" She said as she laid back down, faced away from Darmani and closed her eyes, this was a complete and utter mess and for once, this was something she couldn't fix,.

Lemonade turned over and hugged her mate "the thing is whilst she COULD vouch for me I may be able to talk one or two around but I need to have at least the majority agree to let me take him, one or two isn't going to get Arch here when I still have one hundred and eighteen more to get on side with...or at least half of that and it is not going to be easy and the only easy part of this is when they get the call that someone wishes to take home a Gargoyle, that alone will get me an audience with them straight away because no one wishes to adopt a Gargoyle, no one is that insane, but since it IS insane I will get an audience with them straight away. I know that I am not like those two and thank you for believing in me and I do, you know that and everyone else knows that but the thing is those Elders are cold and and calculating, one wrong step and I will be kicked out of there the thing is since I am Jacks daughter I will have another easier time in getting in, the daughter of the murderer who murdered the race she wishes to adopt...yeah, I will instantly be classed as the next murderer for their race, they will want to stop this now.

So see? I can see that you are saying and I love you so much but that isn't going to win me this audience vote, I am going to have to come up with something great as to why I want to have Arch here or there will be no reasoning with them, I know you love me and that is great but that isn't going to help tomorrow and nor is me being the kind of girl my father isn't, I know they will vote fairly but I still need a convincing story as to why because they won't care about anything else, they will bring up my murderer of a father, sure, but still I need to prove to them I can take in a creature Red and Jack helped kill the race of." Lemonade sighed "can we just hide out here and er...'sleep'? *She asked, smiling at her mate, yes this wasn't the right time but she needed to keep her mind off things and really it had been a while since they last did it, an early night would do her good and she couldn't face going back down there and right now she didn't even care if their children were home, she needed her mate to take her mind off this.

"Thank you" she said as she just curled up with her mate.

It was 8 in the morning when Lemonade finally woke up and took a look at the time "oh crap" she said as she kissed her mates cheek and ran off to the shower of their ensuite and jumped into the shower "Darmani, sweetheart, wake up please!" She called as she practically dumped the bottle of shampoo into her hair and tail and washed it out and did the same with the conditioner and then after washing that out she grabbed her bottle of strawberry scented shower gel and started washing herself with it "Darmani, I am sorry but please, wake up!" She called again as she finished up in the shower, grabed the towel from the rail and started drying herself with it.

Lemonade wasn't even half ready, if she was going to meet those in charge of the whole realm she was going to do it in style...or at least look important anyway so she ran to her closet, opened it and looked through the stuff she had and pulled out a black skirt and white blouse and slipped them on before she tucked the top into the skirt and added black heals, she hated wearing clothes but this was important. "Nearly" she said as she ran over and put her hair up into a bun, a strand falling down the side of her face which she quickly curled and then looked up and smiled at him "ready" she said as she opened a portal and gestured for him too go through "after you."

"Though the reason we are leaving early is because I need food and yet I wish I could be at home watching the kids try and get themselves breakfast" she said giggling a little "I know that is mean but they never have made anything by themselves before, besides those who know how to make ice cream, it would be entertaining to see them try" she said, deciding to go to the one place she knew she could ALWAYS get free food, she and Starlight and Starbright had been friends since she had opened up her ice cream parlour in Solstice, they ran a bistro and their food was delicious, a little pricey but then they could do that, the food was worth is. "We will be going to Stardust, free food and excellent service, the sisters that run the place are friends of mine, when they started buying my ice cream for their shop, instead of payment, they just said that whenever I wanted I could come to their bistro and order whatever I want whenever I want whenever I am in the neighbourhood and I don't want to see the Elders on an empty stomach" she said, hoping this would go well.

"Well, I am not going to start cooking" she said as she closed the portal behind her and walked over to the cab and climbed carefully in and waited for her mate "so I will seek out another cook" she said as she sighed and got comfy "which I REALLY don't want to do but Arch comes first and rehiring Red won't do besides he lied to us and I am not going to have him living under our roof especially with Arch around" she said as she put her head back and just closed her eyes. I saved him from being killed last night so he is lucky I just didn't let them do it, his sister would of never forgiven him if that happened and nor me if I let it so he has his life, he better be thankful for that at least."

"Hi, where are you off to?" The cab driver in the front asked, smiling at the woman behind him.

"Stardust please"

"Fantastic place that, my daughters run it so I guess I am a tad biased."

Lemonade opened her eyes and looked at the driver "your daughters!? So you are Starlight and Starbrights father?! Wait, of course you are! It has been so long!" Lemonade said as she smiled at him "and yet you still remember me?"

"How can I not? You were the little filly that basically destroyed my business twice! First time, already established shop owner, going from strength to strength and you come in and pretty much destroyed everything in the shop and then when I was trying to get it back on its feet you came in and pretty much destroyed it a second time. How can I not remember you?" He said grinning at her.

Lemonade blushed "oh sir, I am SO terribly sorry about that, now you drive cabs? if..." the driver shook his head at her.

"I don't just drive them, I OWN them, the whole cab company is mine! If there is one thing I learnt those two times it was that maybe shop ownership wasn't for me so I should go into something else and well, I decided to start my own cab company, it was needed and when you were a filly they never had them and what they did have was magic teleportation devices that not everyone is comfortable with using so I decided this was needed. The worst thing in the world was for you to meet my daughters and yet it was the greatest thing in the world as well, you three might of ended up ruining my shop, you more then them, but I moved onto bigger and better things and you and my daughters have a friendship that is iron clad, my daughters were not exactly the social types before you came along but that one visit where you three met meant the world to them.

They were sad that you didn't come back to visit more often, they missed you greatly but they understood, we all did, your father isn't liked, no one even likes seeing him, your father came here for business with the Elders and that is it so when you escaped those few times my daughters LOVED it, you brought those girls out of their shell, you gave them something that no one was ever able to do, no matter how many things we tried to bribe them with but you come along and instantly get them to like you. What was your secret?

"Ice cream" Lemonade said "you may have tried every ice cream flavour under the sun but when you make ice cream for a living like I do when you are starting out you have a sort of sixth sense in what flavour others like, or at least one might but for me it just happens sporadically and so I never tried to work on that and I didn't really need to in the end, I have my ice cream shop and people can come in and pick whatever they want. Anyway, your daughters tastes change, at least they did when they were children, one day their favourite flavour may be strawberry and the next day it might be chocolate and then some days, just to annoy those who wanted to try and bribe them with everything under the sun made them have the strangest of cravings for the strangest of flavours, things you would never have guessed.

So when I had left my father I ended up running into two little twin sisters who looked very alone, very sad and very annoyed their father was making them sit outside the shop he had just finished opening for the first time and hand out vouchers for 30% off everything in the store so this is why I ended up leading them away and making them leave their job. I saw them, said hi and they shunned me, didn't speak to me, didn't blink at me, didn't do anything, they just didn't want to even know I existed. That was when I sat down and looked at them, trying to decide what I could do to get them to talk to me and that was when this instinct happened, I don't know how or why but I just said to Starlight 'if I offered you a mint chocolate chip ice cream with carmel sauce sundae would you accept it and play with me?' Starlight turned and looked at me baffled and asked how I knew, I didn't know what to say so I didn't say anything I just said I didn't know how to explain it.

So I ended up doing the same to Starbright and well...we have been friends ever since but then if I can make ice cream and offer it to them then what little kid isn't going to love me forever?" She joked as she grinned at the sisters father "but seriously, when we started to do business with each other it just made us slowly become a little more closer with each other and well, we now have regular coffee dates and what not. But as for you, how are you? Are you and Strawberry Fair keeping well?"
"Great, thanks for asking, though she is pregnant again, the girls will be having a baby brother so this will be fun for them, though something tells me they will be making sure to keep him well away from their bistro, they learnt their lesson when you came to visit one day."

"Congratulations on the pregnancy! And yes, well, that would be the best idea" she said as she gestured to her mate "and this" she said "is my mate, yes, I know, I said I never wanted an icky boy and that they were gross and not worth the time etc but as a teen it was my turn to be less sociable and so I stuck at home and one day and my parents wanted me to make friends so they kicked me out and basically, Darmani was the one who came to my rescue. I was sitting under a tree, crying, upset that my parents didn't understand etc and Darmani kept me company, time passed and I started falling in love with him, as a teen and he was already an adult and so my parents were not happy but as much as I tried to hide the fact that I was in love with him, even going off to try and forget my feelings with another guy, in the end I went back to him.

I couldn't stay away really, there was just something about him that I couldn't just easily forget...well that and the fact that Raven's daughter killed my friend and crush back home but then her family are bad news anyway, as you know, so I am now mated, living back home with a bunch of kids, I really, need to bring them here one day, let them meet my two sisters, they have yet to come come here but I am sure they would love it and love seeing Starlight and Starbrights place also, they have done such a fantastic job with the place."

"They have, takes after their old man."

"They do, Strawberry has her Strawberry Fields and sells the fruit from in itself, is a business of its own but as much as I love Strawberry it is only seasonal work, thankfully she has you and the girls to bring in the big money but then she never did like shop work did she? So I guess that this is better for her but yes, those two did end up getting most of their business sense off you. You raised them well, both you and Strawberry did, the girls have come so far and are the well rounded ponys they are today thanks to you two, I may have helped a little but you and your mate did the best part of it, once we find another chef at home I am going to have to invite you and your family around for dinner."

"Be del...wait, you don't have Red as your cook anymore?"

"No, my father has been disowned and Red has been fired, I learnt last night the real reason Red and my father were behind bars, something that no one has ever told me and the records of the events were not known to the public but when they were I did get the odd "oh you poor thing" and "how can you still love your father" etc but I just shrugged off those comments and thought they must be crazy because I have no idea what they are on about and so after a while I just ended up tuning those people out. I am ignorant but also I have my shop to run, I don't have time to listen to them and I don't have time to run off and check the archive prisoner records either that they keep here so after a while it stopped thank goodness" she said as she looked up at the clock tower that was in town, she still had time, good.

"Pleasure to meet you also, Darmani and I think I have a few to tell" Stardust said as he grinned at Lemonade who sat straight up and shook her head.

"NO!" She knew exactly what stories they were and two of the three were terrible, horrible things she never wanted spoken about again "don't you dare, Stardust!" She said as she looked to her mate "and don't you try to get them out of him either!"

Stardust chuckled as he started driving them to his daughters place.
