"Is thatta' come on?" Enzo was winking,a lthough it was difficult to tell with the bruise swelling around his eye.
Christof growled, stepped forward at the ready.

The moment those words were out of his mouth, her expression darkened. Her lip curled into a forced smile, if only to bare more of her teeth at him. After the initial shock she carefully smoothed her rage away, going momentarily quiet to consider what to do with him.
"What's your name, boil?" She asked, her words and tone picked carefully and slowly, though she could not hide the cold edge to them. As she spoke she placed her detached hand on his chest, pressing out of her patchwork form and in to his, being nonchalant enough about it to hopefully avoid his notice. Her ghostly fingers slipped easily under his skin, though just enough to make his chest tingle for now; she wasn't aiming to do damage, not yet.

Enzo was, thankfully, knocked silly enough to barely be able to keep up his sass, let alone lie to her. "Mr. Valentino to you, toots, aheheheh-" The motion went unnoticed.
Christof trusted Amrita to be able to handle herself, but if he had to watch this painful display any longer, they'd have a dissipated first-year on their hands. And so he had stalked away, noting the rats that ran for the hills, not enough Fear left in the reaper to draw them in. He grunted, kicking one out of the way as he spotted the wooden instrument face down and inanimate on the tarmac. He gave it a prod with his boot, but it simply rocked back into place. He hefted it up in a massive left hand, yes, he had seen this thing following the Reaper around in passing over the school year- now, though, it looked like any other wooden instrument, the light gone from it's eyes. Yes, Amrita was definitely safe. He turned to head back in, carrying the thing inside with him.

Her ghostly hand continued to press in until her hand rested lazily above his heart.
"That'll be all then, Mr. Valentino." She said sweetly, just before her ghostly claws snapped closed.

Enzo wobbled, about to come up with some disconnected retort when he gave a strangled gasp, eyes widening. Blood was already seeping down his chin from his mouth, bright red against his pale face and white shirt.

He didn't disappear...but at least his blood looked lovely against the pallor of his skin.
"Resilient roach." Amrita grumbled, releasing his heart with a disappointed murmur. She did not remove her hand from him though, and her useless patchwork fingers remained innocently on his chest. "I'd hoped that would've dissipated you. I'm afraid I didn't plan past this point..." She admitted, still new at this whole teaching thing. Her ghostly fingers drummed in his chest, lightly poking at his heart and lungs in slow and almost lazy succession.
"I don't suppose you've learned your lesson, have you?"

He gave a wheezing, gurgling response as his eyes rolled in his head, looking about ready to pass out or dissipate- whichever happened first. He barely flinched as the inanimate bass was thrown clattering to the gym floor beside them.

"I'm going to take that as a 'yes'. I like being optimistic, you see." Amrita nodded, startling a bit at the sound of crashing wood beside her. Thankfully she had already withdrew her ghostly hand from Enzo's chest.
"Besides, if you dissipate, you'll just wake up okay. There's no lesson in that." She informed him, nodding to herself as she verbally worked out her plan. "I'm not cruel, though. I'll be sure to take you home~" The ghoul continued to talk to him as if he were coherent, this time though she drew her gaze away from him to look up at Christof. "I'm going to take him back to the Reaper dorms. You can come if you want~"

Hearing her talk like that, tease him like that- and from what he could gather, the little brat certainly deserved it and more- Christof could not shake the warm, bubbling, twisting feeling in his gut. He breathed deep, glancing back and forth before motioning to the coughing, bloodied figure and his massive lifeless instrument as though to offer to carry them both.

"Oh, sure, if you'd like. Just...be careful with him. I don't want him dissipating." Had it not been for the coldness in her expression, one might imagine her being motherly with her concern. "Keeps my hands free to find his room, anyway."

Christof was still staring at her as he hefted Enzo up over his hump, mismatched eyes calculating, impressed. He hefted the bass under an arm, his free third arm motioning for her to lead the way- he had very little experience with the Reaper Dorms, had no clue where the boil stayed.
She had changed so much since they first met... but still was fundamentally the same person. It was marvelous. If he had seen this side of her sooner- known about it- would it have changed things? Possibly. It all would have come down the same anyway, he was sure. She was still finding herself, just as he was.
Even so, his insides were burning, his palms sweating as he happily assumed the Igorly role to help her clean up the mess.

Amrita waited for his signal before she turned and started walking, taking the time to fit her hand back on like a proper glove. She wiggled her fingers and rolled her wrist, checking for stability before she even attempted to braid her still wet hair.
It had been a quiet walk to the Reaper dorms, and when they got there she took a moment to look through the roster to find his room number. Once she had it she waved Chris to follow her, and eventually came to a stop in front of Enzo's door.
"...Could you check him for his room key? If it's not too much trouble."

Christof grunted, shifting the unconscious first year on his shoulder to reach around and fish in the boy's pockets. He made a face as several roaches scurried out across his hand, and shook them free with a snarl of disgust before successfully finding the thing and handing it over.

"Thank you~" Amrita took the key from him and unlocked the door, taking a careful step inside in case more of those rats were tramping about. The ghoul looked around just enough to spot the bed. "Ah, there it is. Could you set him over there, please?" She gestured to the bed, and hoped that her earlier comment of don't dissipate him was still fresh in his mind.

Christof wasn't so careful about dumping the reaper down and tossing his instrument to the floor. The room was a mess, crawling with roaches and garbage and tiny eyes all watching intently, but without Enzo's Fear drawing them in, they simply scurried away in true animal fashion.
Thankfully, the reaper did not dissaparate, but he did make a faint groan and muttered something pathetic in Italian.
