Jack grinned slightly at Crystal, instinctively inching away from Iris a little. "Hey, look on the bright side - between the two of us, maybe we can get the others to hang out with kids more."
Walker shrugged. "Certainly can't hurt to have the guy on our side," he noted.
Seeing that he was outvoted, Bunny grumbled slightly and reluctantly got in the sleigh, the others following with that, the sleigh took off, exiting Pitch's lair as Light began to explain.
"The Dark Side of the Moon, otherwise known as 'Darkside' for short, is a spirit as old as the universe itself. The universe was created from nothing, and in a sense, Darkside is the extra material left over - a spirit of the Void. As time went on, he began creating children - three sons, three daughters: Zephyr, Lord of the Wind, Thyella the Stormbringer, Aquaria the Siren Queen, Draconis the Dragon King, Gargoyle, Demon of the Stone, and Umbra the All-Corrupting. However, as they all aged and adapted to the new world, Darkside and his children got new names, based on their centers: Pride, Sloth, Wrath, Lust, Greed, Gluttony, and Envy."
"Wait wait wait wait wait... are you telling me we're dealing with the Seven Sins here?!?"
Light nodded. "Yes... and their goal is to plunge the world into chaos - have humanity destroy itself so that they can return the universe to the void."
Cue a stunned silence as everyone processed that they basically had to stop Armageddon.

Walker shrugged. "Never really thought about it," he told Iris - definitely not a yes, but not a no either; more like a "if you think you can find a suitable match for me, then go ahead and give it a shot".
"I know all this because I had a run-in with Umbra a while back and asked Father about her," Light answered bluntly. "As for how we defeat them, that's simple: there are six relics scattered throughout the world. Each one was specifically made to take down one of Darkside's children, and together they can destroy Darkside himself. Unfortunately, I don't know where the relics are - I know someone who does, however."
"And how do we know this ain't a trap?" Bunny asked suspiciously.
"Firstly, if he wanted to kill us that badly, he would've shot us all on sight," Walker interjected. "Secondly, he's telling the truth - I can feel it in my bones."
Bunny turned a skeptical look on the skull-masked, bandage-covered male. "Really?" he said in a tone that indicated that Walker's bones held about as much weight with him as North's belly.
Walker nodded. "Yes... more specifically, my left femur." He then proceeded to hold up said femur, which was vibrating in his grip.
Bunny and a few of the others recoiled at that. "Er, don't ya need that ta walk, mate?"
Walker shook his head. "No, this is my old left femur - I grew a new one a while back. It still gives off bone feelings, though."
"'Grew a new...? Mate, even Frostbite knows it does NOT work like that!" That got a firm nod of agreement from the creeped-out winter spirit in question.
"It does if you're me," was Walker's flat reply (which, coupled with his raspy voice, sounded rather creepy) as he pocketed the bone again, signalling the end of that particular line of conversation.

"I was facing down a serial child killer whose method was to knock the victim unconscious, then surgically remove all the bones one by one. It turned out he was a believer - not exactly surprising, since I'm not the most inconspicuous fellow - and when I tried to kill him, he knocked me out. Fortunately, he only got at my left femur and right humerus before I woke up and slit his throat," Walker explained calmly, getting disturbed looks from all within earshot (except for Sandy, who shot a pitying look instead, and Light, who actually seemed rather amused by the story).
"No idea," Jack answered with a shrug.
...And then a torrent of water came out of nowhere, slamming into the sled, only North's reflexes keeping the sleigh from being knocked out of the air entirely.
"s**t! It's Aquaria!"
"That's right, little shadow," a surprisingly enchanting voice spoke, the water swirling to surround the sleigh from all sides. "Now what are the Guardians doing so far from home, hmm?"
The Guardians and their proteges immediately got out their weapons with the exception of North, who needed to drive/pilot the sleigh, and Jack, who was absolutely paralyzed for some reason, wrapping his arms around himself and shivering as his eyes glazed over in sheer terror, staring unseeing at the water around them.

Unfortunately, that didn't do anything, since Aquaria merely absorbed the ice into her water from wherever she was before shooting constant spears of water at the group, though fortunately they were met by the weapons of the corresponding Guardians they were aimed at, Bunny using his second boomerang to cover Jack.
"Dammit, Frostbite, get your head in the game, mate!" Bunny snapped, starting to get rather worried when Jack didn't respond.
Walker, meanwhile, began chanting under his breath, blood oozing out from between his bandages and starting to coalesce into a small orb even as he pulled out a scythe made of bone and began using it to deflect the water spears.
"Πολλαπλασιάστε, καταναλώνουν, ελέγχου... πολλαπλασιάζονται, καταναλώνουν, ελέγχου... πολλαπλασιάζονται, καταναλώνουν, ελέγχου..." he kept chanting softly, and you could almost FEEL the magic in the air; Aquaria obviously sensed he was planning something, because she slowed her barrage on the other Guardians in order to increase the speed of the assault on Walker.

Unfortunately, while Crystal's assault did cause the water spears to veer off-course, one of them still managed to slip past Walker's guard, impaling his shoulder. However, rather than cry out in pain as most would, Walker merely chuckled as the wound started bleeding, the blood somehow converting the spear to blood as well, all the blood rushing into the sphere he was holding as well. "Wrong move; never hurt a someone whose specialty is blood-based magic unless you're sure it'll kill them. Θάλασσα του αίματος!" The sphere shot into the prison of water around them, being absorbed into it... and then the water suddenly started turning red, the phenomenon spreading rapidly throughout the orb, causing the constant barrage of spears to cease. "Διαλύσει." With that, the walls of water-turned-blood surrounding the sleigh abruptly vanished, the group catching a quick glimpse of a mermaid-like woman before she vanished in a swirl of water.

Now that the threat was gone, the other Guardians could fully focus on Jack's short breathing and trembling and became concerned. "You okay there, Frostbite?" Bunny asked warily, getting even more worried than before.
Light watched Jack carefully a moment before he glanced at the others. "I think he's aquaphobic. I'm not quite as good at sensing fear as Father, though, so I can't pinpoint what the root of the issue is," he noted.
Walker was much more practical about the issue, almost casually walking up to Jack and...
SMACK!
Jack blinked, slowly refocusing in on the world around him, seemingly oblivious to the red, hand-shaped mark on his cheek that had brought him back to his senses. "Sorry... I'm not too good with large amounts of water..." he mumbled, ashamed.

"You became a spirit by drowning to save someone, didn't you?" Walker guessed, causing several wide-eyed looks of horrified surprise. "I can sense death, though it's clearer when it's self-sacrificial deaths. The moment he saw the water, he started reeking of death." The looks then turned to Jack.
Jack smiled weakly, obviously trying not to remember that particular event too much. "Yeah... my sister Emma and I went skating on some thin ice. When it started cracking, I managed to save her... but I couldn't save myself," he murmured, his eyes haunted.

Jack nodded slowly, taking deep breaths to calm himself before giving Crystal a smile, albeit a shaky one. "Okay... I'm good now. Let's get going."
