ninja That bothers me too with how Game Stop buys their used games. First time I came in, with a whole wish list in mind and sugar plum fairies dancing in my head, I got seriously bummed when they offered tiny-little amount of money for my games.
What's with all the lowballers?!
I get they're a business in the business of making money, but I had imagined something like they'd buy it for half of what they sell it for, but nope. I'll continue to keep my old games, let them collect dust, and then play them again waaaaay down the road. Or share them with the youngsters.

Thats the way to do it. Sometimes the games you find to be complete crap or an absolute waste if your effort might end up looking like a real diamond in the rough years to come. I've learned that one all and well, selling a game when I didnt want it, then years pass and you just suddenly WANT that game SO BAD! Plus, sharing the games of the past with the young ones to come could enlighten them with what makes games good games. Makes me want to go back to playing the PS2 I tell ya. Now then. Good thing that happened today? It was a family affair around the city today, first went to Future Shop and returned an item to be repaired/replaced, then went about to buy a few things, get some food, and came home. razz Short and simple stuff.

^_^ ahhh, I love this thread~
Things are going well so far! Life is good, although I dunno how today is going to go - I just woke up, after all!
Nothing exceptional happening today, although I do have the day off, so that counts as a really good thing~

I work at a childcare facility, helping with kids ages 3 months to pre-k (~5 years old). There's currently a little boy who's about a year and a half old, and when you ask him what sound a dinosaur makes, he answers with a growly, rumbly "rooowwwwrrr!" And it brightens my day every time!

I absolutely agree. One does not get into the nursery industry without having a fondness for kids and for fun! I basically get to go to work and play with kids and toys all day. It's really just so much fun. I was having a discussion with a bunch of four year olds today on whether all trolls were evil or not. (I cited the trolls in Frozen, who are actually very nice!)

Today I had off from school, yet I still did homework on my day off and am happy that I did. Well, I kinda had to do it anyway because I turn it in online, but regardless I'm proud of my perseverance for doing it in the first place. xd

I like a guy, and I know that I've been friendzoned, but today we got to hang out, and that was just nice. I just like his companionship.
On that note, I went to skate park for the first time yesterday. It was an alright valentine's day.
