It seemed to Shaheen that Lan could use a little bit of help, especially when the woman looked like she might topple and fall.
Diving forward, she attempted not to just shove her upright, but to do it with enough force to send her straight to where the artifact lay in wait of her. It was, after all, her duty to help the woman reach her destination, as was their agreement.
Of course, she sort of expected that her wings would work in this place and that she would be able to fly.
Apparently they didn't.

Lan stood next to the artifact. Shocked at it dawned on ehr what they had done. Feeling a wave of selfish guilt wash over her, Lan meekly picked up the artifact and made her way out.
