Here A Child Once Stood
[Transcribed are Detraeus' thoughts. He cannot read or write.]
After so many years, I had a chance encounter with the man who once saved my life on Eowyn. Last I was on this continent, I had only ten years to call my own. His bonded khehora, Amadia, was with him, and it was her I encountered first. Upon seeing his face...it was a strange encounter, and I left quickly. I did not know how to face him again.

The Impossible Girl
[Transcribed are Detraeus' thoughts. He cannot read or write.]
It seems the time for chance encounters is high. Some months after the beginning of my stay here, I saw that same dovaa girl again, with the black eyes. I did not know it to be her at first, just some men harassing someone in an alley. In the aftermath she was only as grateful as I would have anticipated.

Two Birds, One Stone
[Transcribed are Detraeus' thoughts. He cannot read or write.]
Casseth, the hybrid son of the oblivionite warrior who spared my life, seems to be living in area. I encountered him in a dispute with feathered muck that thought themselves better than he. Afterwards, we sparred. It is...interesting, and good for me, I think, to have a Magescian to practice with instead of only things that fight with teeth and claws.

Into the Pit
[Transcribed are Detraeus' thoughts. He cannot read or write.]
Casseth and I have been training hard together, nearly every day. He spoke to me today of a fighting arena, something he intends to sign himself up for. Upon closer inspection, it looked to be exactly the sign I was waiting for: a bloody fighters set up with virtually no rules, and no penalty for death with participants of all sorts. I can fight Seren's monsters here, and all those that share their blood. Kill them, without fear of repercussion. It is Soudana's destiny for me, I know it. At least, until I am strong enough to move on to greater numbers.

You Again
[Transcribed are Detraeus' thoughts. He cannot read or write.]
Casseth was hurt during his first fight in the pit, gored by a rhamidon. As a result, I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting with some 'friends' of his, including that same dovaa girl that fate seems so intent on throwing in my path. In the waiting time, Takhi spoke of a 'cave of dragons' prime for training up one's skills as a fighter. I intend to investigate its legitimacy and warned the dovaa against following me.

Cave of Dragons
[Transcribed are Detraeus' thoughts. He cannot read or write.]
The dragon cave spoken of by Takhi in the pit began boringly simple. Enough so that I almost left, particularly given the company I was saddled with. The dragons grew more challenging though, as the caverns went on, and bitter as she seemed at the outset, Araceli eventually proved to be a useful ally. I would not have made it as far without her, though she finished on the worst end of it. It seems strange to me, how often fate throws us together. I have to wonder if she will cross my path again.

Tasting Blood
[Transcribed are Detraeus' thoughts. He cannot read or write.]
I had my first round in The Pit today. The first round was ridiculously easy, and boring, so I called for a second. That was harder, but it would have been fine if they hadn't set a third set on me. After taking on that many at once, the last beast got to me. More bloody poison. I hate poison. I can still feel it crawling through my skin...like that diabi magic. Next time, I won't make the mistake of letting a stinger near me.
