Ignazio watched as Sion left the two of them alone then sighed and crossed his arms. ”Okay, since she’s gone, I’ll tell you how I feel about the subject. I don’t trust her or you, also she wasn’t kidding about your demonic aura, it’s thick and suffocating, if the academy wasn’t protected by a barrier it would be flooded with coal tars or other demons just searching for that aura.” he said as he uncrossed his arms and grabbed his bag from the ground and tossed it over a single shoulder. ”But I will work with you, I like your style and I feel better around demons than humans and the more dangerous the safer I tend to feel. Don’t worry about your secret, I don’t have really anyone to tell about you. So I’m assuming that’s why she opened her big mouth like that.” Ignazio said while walking towards the door as fixed his bag across his back and then placed the second strap around his left shoulder and turned to face Audrianna. ”I’ll help you with the exam for personal reasons of advancement. But other than that I’d rather not be pared with lazy people who can’t carry their own weight, so hopefully you can fight.” he coldly said as his eyes narrowed as he spoke and he looked at the girl then his eyes faded to a smile ”Well let’s try our best to be helpful to each other. How about we get lunch together? ”

[] ❧ Audrianna Hara Black ❧ []

"I am more than just a means to an end."

Audrianna already found her gift for reading and understanding demon language. She had realized this at a very young age, when she began talking to flowers. Of course these flowers were possessed by lowly demons, and they just loved chatting with the daughter of the Earth. She watched the teacher leave, and her eyes stayed fixed on the door. Why did the teacher pick an Exwire like Ignazio to work with a Page? Surely he wouldn't be happy working with a lower level student. Not that she cared. She didn't do well in uncomfortable situations, or any situation where she was alone with someone really. When Ignazio began to speak, Audri slowly rolled her head towards him, her eyes slightly squinted and bearing. It wasn't an angry look, it was a look that said 'I'm not amused'. The Barthomeloi boy wasn't the first one to analyze her, criticize her, and judge her. She was well used to it by now. "You shouldn't trust me." Audri's voice was flat and monotone, sounding uninterested as usual. She didn't mean that she was evil or plotting against Ignazio, she just felt as though she hadn't given Ignazio a reason to trust her. Just like how Ignazio had yet to give her a reason to trust him.

She turned her head away and she crossed her arms against her chest as he continued to talk. He sure did have a lot to say on the matter. He wasn't one to hold back his initial thoughts at all. While starring at the floor, Audri said "I'm not lazy. But I'd rather not be paired with someone who acts before they think. So I hope you have the ability to produce a coherent thought in a stressful situation." Audrianna wasn't fond of people who went straight for the kill before looking at all other possible angles. Most demons and exorcists went after Audri for the kill, before looking at her for who she was. A person on this planet who never made any waves. She looked up back towards Ignazio when he mentioned lunch, and she noticed a change in his expression. Her eyes then scanned his face, confused at the lightened mood. "If you're hungry. But the faster we finish these exams, the better." Audrianna didn't necessarily have a problem being around Ignazio, she just preferred to be alone. Plus, she didn't think the Exwires of the school or the upper class men would appreciate seeing Ignazio hang out with Page, and such a weird one at that. She didn't care what people thought of her, but she didn't want Ignazio and her to form some kind of outcast bond. That was cheesy.

”Hunger is a bigger enemy than any demon. Lunch is on me, so you can get whatever you want from the cafeteria, alright?” he said as he extended his hand and took her hand into his. ”As for thinking things through, every strategist knows your trump card isn’t your trump card. Play with half a hand to gain a full hand. Right now we’re playing with only a half a hand, I’ll explain once we get to the cafeteria.” he said as he started pulling on Audrianna’s hand and walking towards the door and then out the door and down the hall and stairs in order to reach the Great Hall. Ignazio was a little rash taking Audrianna by the hand and moving through the halls but this little assignment was more like a game to him and he already had taken a look at the pages further in the packet. ”It’s a map.” he said turning the corner with Audrianna.

"I am more than just a means to an end."

Audrianna's left eye drew up into a sort of twitching manner and her right eye widened when Ignazio grabbed her hand and began to lead her. Her skin was crawling and her blood was on fire. Audri wasn't very good with human contact, especially not personal touch. She had grown up beaten, tortured, and hunted. This was something she didn't like and could not get used to. Her fingernails were long like claws and painted black. She tried to pull her hand away from Ignazio but his grip was tight. Her fingernails dug into the palm of his hand as she pulled. He was obviously leading her, but she could follow him fine without the hand holding. She would probably struggle with him the whole way to the cafeteria.

A low rumbling noise echoed nearby, the sound itself could be heard near by walking bystanders almost sounding like a demon bear letting out a massive roar. However that was not the case, as the shadowy outline figure of a male student could be seen, before his actual from came into appearance, the male seemed to be hunched forward, cradling his stomach in the palm of both hands, as if he had just been impaled. The male would be known as Homura Kagari, as he came stumbling into view, the male couldn't help but think of how much of an idiot he had been for leaving his lunch back in his room. As he crossed paths with a few fellow students, he still holding his stomach in his hands, shaking his head, at the thought of starving to death, began to look for any near local food vendors, but found nothing to avail.

"Well this is sequentially the worst day ever.." Homura said to himself in a low tone voice, that only he could hear, the male already had a bad reputation, and he would prefer not to add on to it anymore then he already had. As he broke off in mid sentence, he couldn't help but notice the emerald green eyes of a particular long dark haired pale maiden. The thing about the academy that Homura really enjoyed was the fact that all of the women that attended were unique and beautiful in there own way. Homura dropped both hands, and regained composure quickly, as if instructed by an unseen puppeteer. He steps calm, contemplative, smooth, as he walked over towards her, only to find that his prey had been snatched up by another. Not letting his emotions swell, the man decided to follow, more or less he could at least figure out a way to rescue the damsel in distress, and become the hero of the story.

Homura may have his moments, but from what he was able to pick up on was the body language of others. Judging by the looks of her actions, it would seem that she was being forced to go in a particular direction that she did not desire. Weather this remained to be true, or not would be up for time to tell, Homura had been instructed not to openly gauge any of his fellow students in fights, other wise the result could manifest unwanted consequences. As Homura trailed back at a safe distance, he pulled out his favorite pack of d-cigs, known as demon brand cigarettes, he gave the bottom of the pack a small flick with the end tips of both his right thumb and point finger. As a single stick leap from the cluster of many, he grabbed the end, placing the remainder back into his pocket. He pulled out a stainless steel flip top lighter from his jacket, giving it one quick flick as a small flame burnt the end tip of the cig, Homura would close the top of the lighter, and would then return the lighter back into his jacket. Normally he could just cast a small fire spell and light it that way, but he found that it often ruined the flavor, and when not done correctly would light the entire cig on fire.

As the crimson haired man continued to trail behind, he took his first puff of the d-cig, the smoke itself seemed to calm his nerves and kept him from over thinking things to much, he really had no business being here, the only thing that seemed to keep him within his pursuit, was the chance to actually get a beauty like the one in-front of him to acknowledge his presence, although he had not taken the time to give much thought to the male that pulled her, was he her lover, perhaps a sibling, or hell maybe her boyfriend. That would suck, well Homura was use to the solo lifestyle that he was force to live, could you blame him, imagine walking up to a girl and saying "Hi, I'm the son of Satan, don't worry I wont eat your soul." That usually never went over well, after a few more steps had been taken, the male began to get bored, and took a second drag out of his d-cig, he would then say in a calm voice, that type of which usally got other's attentions. "So-" He began while taking a third drag out of his d-cig, leaving him with a remainder of 5 more drags before the cig was used up. "-where we heading." He said exhaling a small puff of smoke, as he waited for either the male or females response.

Ignazio wasn’t in his typical public figure mood where he would appear to be smiling and cheerful, he was more so angry; and that anger didn’t look like someone most people would want to get involved with when dealing with someone like Ignazio. Upon climbing the stairs from the main floor and pass the first floor he finally made it to the second floor and upon his feet coming into contact with the empty hall he walked over to a single door and pulled out a small key ring that held four different keys, each key had a different shape and were either silver or gold in color. Ignazio inserted one of the golden keys into the door and turned to the right three times before hearing the door click, removing the key from the door he looked around as he placed the key ring back into his trouser pocket and proceeded in opening the door. Ignazio stepped through the door and entered what seemed to be yet another empty hall way; he had entered the cram school through the use of the magical keys in which you receive each year. In this Academy the keys appeared to be a form of power among others. The tamer entered the demonically and aristocratic looking hall as if it was nothing but normal and closed the door behind him sealing off the entrance to the world. A few clicks occurred in the door and then brought Ignazio to a feeling of safety as he knew no one could enter this world without one of the keys. Soon the tamer began to grumble things to himself and then found himself stepping close to each room to listen in order to find which class room was empty. The glass window that was in the center of each door in a traditional catholic design were nearly impossible to see through. He continued walking through the gold, red, and emerald halls until he checked his wrist, allowing his blazer to move up a little to show the silver watch on his left wrist, looking down at the time he noticed he’d still have a lot of time before anyone actually would be coming to the Cram School, or at least before they would have to use the room he planned on using.

The clicking sound of his shoes echoed as he moved down the long endless hall until he came to a room with a large black door. Two crimson pillars on each side of the door, and a single handle, he took in a deep breath before he grabbed hold of the handle and opened the door. The tamer pulled the door towards his body opening up the large class room to reveal no one was there. The room was empty and cold, the lights were off and since there weren’t any windows in the Cram School classes it was extremely dark. The young heir sighed as he closed his eyes for a second and opened them, the only light was coming from outside in the hall, in which he still stood. Ignazio removed his hand from the handle and took a few steps into the dark room before making a few steps to the left. The door began to close as he carefully made his way over towards the light switch. Ignazio found the switch with a sliver of light remaining before the door closed. He flicked the switch forward and looked around the class room. The boy raised his arm up slightly to shield his eyes from the light as it flashed before dimming to a useful level. ”One of the only classes that I actually enjoy being in. Room two-hundred forty; the Demonic Enchantments and Summoning class. ” he started as he made his way towards the chalk board but then stopped in his placed and turned and looked at the door. ”Actually, I think I should do something about that before I proceed forward with what I need to do.” he muttered to himself before reaching into his blazer with his right hand and removing a stack of paper talismans. Each talisman had something written over each of them. Ignazio threw the talismans into the air allowing them to flutter around his body ”Seal” he commanded as the talismans stopped moving in midair and stood erect before flying across the wall and the door. Twenty talisman in total scattered along the face of the door and the wall around the door. The young tamer may not have been as adapt at Aria arts as most people who focused on being an Aria, but Ignazio was one of the better ones in the academy. He clapped his hands together and the words written in Sanskrit along the face of the paper faintly glowed with power as they activated.

Pulling his hands apart he closed his eyes and clapped them together once more before making the seal of Rin ”Protect” he called out as the light coming from the talisman began to change into different colors, one for a different elemental spirit. Iganzio focused as he created a twenty layer barrier around the door in order to seal off the entrance with the talisman. He lowered his hands and exhaled slowly. Before looking at the paper that was along the door, he focused on the talismans in order to see each elemental barrier in place, which wouldn’t just protect the area but defend it physically if one tried to enter the room without permission.

Turning and making his way towards the chalk board Ignazio grabbed a piece of chalk with his right hand before raising his left hand toward his mouth and biting down on the light flesh around his thumb, just enough to draw blood. Once the blood trailed from his hand he allowed a few drops to adorn the pure chalk before writing on the board. 42-42-564, upon completing this task he placed the chalk down and took a step back as the blood started to boil and the board shook in power and opened up revealing a staircase. Ignazio blindly started to walk into the abyss before him; but as his foot touched the first step a sphere of fire appeared next to him. The tamer continued down the stairs into the belly of the school, as each step became illuminated from the low level fire spirits known as Din. Ignazio took his time as he moved to the bottom of the stairwell; the doorway to the training hall closed behind him as he moved deeper and deeper into the pit of the Academy.

Once he reached the bottom step, Ignazio found himself in a large open area. The ground was made of stone and the pillars around the area seemed to be of the same material that the ground was made up of. Ignazio hadn’t been in this area in a long time. He looked at the sun and cross designs around the edges of the room and then found himself walking down a few more steps as the light from the stairs slowly started to go out one by one. There wasn’t any sound gifted through the piteous darkness seeping droves in around the teenage male as he made his way down a few additional steps. There were doorways and passages off the sides the led to elsewhere; a study or the teachers’ office and several others that had different purposes that had no mention at this point of time. The main room, however, was where Ignazio and other students were taught about being a tamer and even ‘experimented’ most of their Qi training in. Not just because it was the largest of the rooms in the Academy, but the presence of a strong barrier kept damage from colluding the rest of the building or causing damage to that of the mundane world. While here tamers and arias like Ignazio were at liberty to dabble to their hearts content at whatever things they dreamt up as an exorcist.

At this point Ignazio started to take the time to prepare the room, lighting candles before the last of the light from the Din in the stairway dimmed away, and soon after he had lit all the lights in the area he went and gathered a few supplies that he would need from the storage area. The large double doors greeted him with their ancient taxidermy of azure and gold plates and depiction of scrawled archival language that was part of the spell engraved on the foundation of the hall’s rudimentary structure. Pressing his hands against the face-plates the door slid away from each other with a clattering sound that heralded just how old they were when Ignazio pushed them apart and then back again to close reality away. Here, Iganazio felt as if he was supreme once more, here no one else was stronger than him, here no one would dare challenge him. It was like his own little reality caught in time and blown in glass that only he could stow away.

Fortunately Ignazio had poured over not only his father’s notes but the many different books and findings of the Barthomeloi family for many years, slowly decoding the written language with much help from extra classes at school in order to learn the foreign language written as well as the spoken words. The switch between Italian and German then to Arabic and Egyptian followed by Coptic then finally English and Japanese. The tamer was quite verse when it came to his phonological skills, but that was the point of being a tamer, it really came in use as an Aria but as a tamer, the only purpose he had for knowing so many languages was for reading the many secrete volumes of notes that were left behind by his ancestors and his late mother. Looking around the large store room his eyes wondered around as he saw things from demon body parts either alive inside of liquids or completely dried up to herbs and candles. Soon he found what he was looking for, a box of chalk, which was a lot deeper into the room than he thought it should have been, moving his hand along the second shelf he had found himself standing on the tip of his toes and patting around the dusty oak top before taking hold of the box.

The tamer emerged from the room with a box of chalk and sealed the door behind him just moments before making his way to the center of the room. A few braziers on the wall were still lit, from when he originally made it down to the large room. Making his way over to the others that were not lit he lit them one at a time with a simple match. With the room now illuminated he could clearly see in the once dark room. Since there wasn’t any electricity running through the room, there weren’t any currents for Qi to jump into or factor play, just a boy and the soon crackling mantles being lit one by one as he moved around the room. As the tamer walked briskly, for it became quite close to time, his right hand slid inside of his blazer and he removed four additional talismans. With a simple flick of the wrist he tossed the talismans into the air. Each sheet of paper repelled against each other and attached itself into a corner of the room. The space began to shift into the properties of an intrinsic field when a thin patina of dull, red, energy from bubbles around the walls. Ignazio typically never had to practice in complete privacy like this before as he typically only practiced at night or at his family’s manor, but with this short lived and temporary reduction field, it was the closest thing to a Exorcist Boundary Zone; he did, albeit, know that this form of magic was not completely rooted to the Bounded Field put on the property. ”That should keep the noise out, and anything from slipping past me, although I could just be over preparing, seeing how the room is covered in seals and protection spells for that purpose already.”

The chocolate trussed male contemplated, as his action brought him in a full circle around the room and back to where he started; in a clockwise manner. In this wicked setting shadows danced a macabre scene along the wall and the brazier flame caused Ignazio’s shadow to dart and wrap around the room from their abyssal light, quietly his eyes surveyed the surroundings one last time, giving off a pleasant chatoyant chrysoberyl glow, the way cat’s eyes did in dim lit areas. By and by, fingers dipped into the box of chalk where he pulled out a large new piece of white chalk, untouched by man’s hands after being created. He took the chalk into his right hand and knelled down to the ground as he began drawing out the magic circle insignia that had been printed in his family books; it was the same magic circle that he always drew before he personally summoned a familiar, giving his range in selecting a creature from Gehenna on a level beyond that of those limited by the basic magic circle that was taught at True Cross Academy. By using a basic form of Qi manipulation based on heating an object with Qi, the chalk was melted into the petroglyph pattern. It was almost burned into his memory by this time.

The ornate lines of opaque, rubicund, bedizenment was almost a pure work of art as the quarantine flourish was finished; taking no more than five minutes for him to complete the drawing. Eventually the chalk that remained was sat down own the outside of the lines glowing with a pale luminescence in the wreathen atmosphere. While shadows writhed the area, it was like Ignazio was center stage or in the middle of a spotlight to the etheric planet for all to see just how prominent he had progressed in his seven years of training. Not only was he a gifted tamer but he was a talented aria, and when it came down to seals and glyphs his mind had been engraved with different style, formations, and calculation for each species and type he had ever laid eyes on; whether it be in a book or in person.

Taking a step towards the circle after looking at the entirety of its design Ignazio brought his right hand into his blazer once more, but this time he then removed a leather bound holster with a single strap hanging from it. The pouch had a single mouth and what appeared to be a deck of cards stacked inside of the holster. Ignazio crouched down and wrapped the holster around his right thigh and buckled it with the strap before standing tall and entering the circle. He closed his eyes as he took in a deep breath. His breathing seemed louder to him as the darkness stretched out around him. The tamer’s eyes opened as he slid his right hand towards the pouch; snapping the mouth of open before reaching into the rear of the deck and grabbing hold of a card. Like how all his familiars start, this card was blank. Each tarot card that Ignazio held originally had a face, as they were the style of summoning his mother used and preferred, but after her death, the faces of the cards vanished, opening them to new contracts. Ignazio had only used three of the cards to this date, and this would be his fourth. Ignazio slowly bent down and placed the faceless card into the center of the circle with the back of the card and the side with the summoning circle facing the ceiling.

Carefully moving out of the circle Ignazio closed his azure eyes as he thought back to his mother’s voice and his father’s lecturing about the different types of summoning styles he could perform and compared him to his sister had her form which was similar to the method his father used. Ignazio shook his head as he cleared his thoughts in preparation. He knew if he was going to perform a summons and bring forth anything with use to him, he’d have to have a clear mind and focus on what he wanted. The words of change were circling his thoughts as he saw himself flowing through time, the swirl of Qi urging his soul and mind into the pit known as Gehenna only forced him to focus more. The soundless formless and flowing of the past and future had already begun connecting into a centrifugal swirl. This was Ignazio’s pique time of power, a time where he felt charged from head to toe with brimming energy welling up inside of his body; almost so it was about to overflow if not released. Images flashed through his mind as he remembered why he was doing this summons in the first place. Images of his so called friends flashed through his mind, images of them laughing together, then images of their faces as they disregarded what he said, and even images of the people he hated the most. Ignazio couldn’t shake himself of the thoughts of revenge and anger. It was swallowing him. Clearing his mind to be devoid of thoughts he knew he had to begin chanting soon. He began the process of drawing the ethereal tendrils from the air into his body through his Qi.

The air of command causing the foundation of the Qi to surface off of the wall and soon vibrate and fluctuate while Ignazio manifested his powers to descend and fill the room with his Qi. With the flowing of the Qi and the wind that seemed to flow out of thin air the seal that was burned into the ground began to turn like a compass. Ignazio stood his ground and stretched his right arm out towards the seal and moved his left hand towards his mouth once more. He reopened the small puncture that he created a half hour prior when he was upstairs. Once the small wound was reopened he clinched the hand into a fist drawing blood and with a harsh flick he splattered the blood over the seal, even getting a drop onto the card in the center of the circle. With musing the audible glamour of the energy, the Qi in his body burned with a siring blaze when the vessel of the young adult’s body was overflowed with fibrous Qi that nearly became tangible. Like a puppet suspended on strings of their creator, threads wafted the air like a docile wave; pulsing with the light and energy of his heart and soul. Ignazio had to calm himself to switch the formation of Qi in order to prevent any sort of spiritual manifestation being called, that was not that of a demonic species he wished for.

Continuing with great concentration, he felt the air in the room change as he mouthed the incantation that was forming in his head. Formless switches were flipped within the tamer’s mind and complex circuitry of magical nerves slowly began to transform him into something non-human. Ignazio Barthomeloi, the boy, was no longer there – all that was left was a being that was no more than a tool to attain the demonic power of the world between his and the next. He could feel his fingertips slowly melting, the flesh drawn back into a nightmarish lack of pain that could not be described as long bone nails surfaced from the versifying matter. In this trance like state, the world around him was quickly being repainted into a macabre scene of concentrated Qi that could only be known as the “soul of a exorcist”. Sense inverted, then completely were stretched apart further and further away from his physical body. Desertion of humanity, the very thought was near absurd to dream, but just then again, why was it that a tamer was different than the planer world they lived in?

Ignazio could feel his humanity being destroyed as he slowly was rebuilt into a vessel of power. The words swirling around in his mind were still not clear yet to him, he couldn’t yet hear them clearly but they called to him, the voice still muffled by the very surge of his power. It was crushing him. He was losing control of the vortex of energy, yet was maintaining the connection to the creature on the other side. His body began to feel the sensation that it had gone through a few times before. A sensation of blistering heat, Ignazio could feel the cranial aperture of bone stretching from either side of his temples as he grew horns; the illusion continued to fluctuate, wings sprouted from his back with their glistening leathery feel of scale and flesh. In turn, his dermis hardened, and cracked, into that of tight-fitting scales to shield him from the unutterable scorch. The bask of blaze stopped, replaced with the cold sensation of being covered in water. Sweat ran across the cortex of his body as he felt as if his body was being driven through with swords from every direction. There was the distinction of pain as Ignazio’s Qi started up on its own to compensate for what was happening; only violating his senses even more. By this time it felt as if his blood was molten iron coursing through his veins like a hungry beat trying to devour him from the inside out.

Nearly losing himself in the pain, he finally reached his goal and plateaued at the point he wanted before the words of pact circled through his mind and continued to echo through his ears. Ignazio broke free from the trance as he remembered his anchor to this world, and why he would become the strongest exorcist to ever emerge from True Cross Academy.

With all the Qi in the area being absorbed into his body the thin lines of Qi vanished from their tangible state in the air, all that was left now was to empty it out into the thaumological engine depicted on the ground. With great volition Iganzio spoke up. ”Let thy body rest under my dominion, come past the restraining rings, and be thou the hands that protect the balance! Wash away the sorrows of your King!” The words burning through his chest and circling through his thoughts, he knew with every fiber of his being this was the one. It was time for him to show everything that he was made of to the demon on the other side of the gate. ’Help…me…’ a voice called out to him and soon Ignazio’s eyes opened wide as he quickly bent down to a knelling position and placed his hand on edge of the seal.

The brown haired male clasp at the ground as energy emerged from the center of the circle and the card rose in the air before a picture of a wizard of sorts appeared on the face of the card. Iganzio watched carefully as the energy took a physical shape and sent a burst in every direction before becoming a massive torrent of water. Ignazio could feel the water taking hold of him as the card remained in its position floating in the air with water pouring from the face of the card. Ignazio found himself being forced against the wall and taking in water, a barrier of golden Qi stood before himself and the water that was rapidly filling the room creating an ocean of sorts. Soon a creature began to emerge from the circle of energy. The tamer looked at the creature in awe, as he never pictured he would become face to face with anything as beautiful as the creature that appeared before him. A maiden of the mist, and a queen of the seas; Ignazio managed to summon a Naiad.

The female’s voice for rescue filled his head again as he lowered the barrier to just his legs in order to use it as a surface to stand on top of the water. The barrier was flat and looked more like a glyph than a barrier. ”Magnificent” he said as he stood up tall and looked at the water bound creature, he was completely intoxicated on her beauty alone, he felt the connection between the two of them as he looked at her. ”You called out to my heart as my soul called out to you. Your sorrow and pain were like mine. Would you do me the honor, of telling me your name, maiden?” he asked as wanted to reach the card without having to utilize any of his other familiars, he’d rather not fight when someone is clearly suffering for being alone just as he was.

There she danced. Her body moved along the waves until everything came to a stand still. Finally, she had managed to cross through the threshold of the Gate into Assiah. Surely a strong individual worthy of her power had summoned her, correct? Upon opening, her eyes, she was met by a young man with brown hair. This little punk had managed to call to her? Looking to the card before her, she began to examine its features before turning to face the boy as he began to speak. Almost immediately after the young male spoke to her, she lifted her hand to her face and began to laugh. "What a silly little man you are." began Tsukiumi as she slowly brought her hand down towards her chest before her arms folded above one another. "What gives you the right to ask me for my name? You are the one who summoned me here, yet to wish for me to reveal more about myself? How foolish." Her words were cold like the water that surrounded her, but she had no intention of falling under the servitude of such a young man.

"I called out to you? Our grief is similar? Incorrect, foolish young man. I called out to the first fool who would summon me, believing themselves to be worthy of my power. You just so happened to be the first to do so." Her eyes were cold, and as she glared towards the male, she took note of what she could judge as the level of his Qi. The control he had over his barrier was impressive, but none the less, would not be enough to win her over. "Tell me. Who is it that summons me through this card?" questioned Tsukiumi.

The tamer stopped his gazing and his eyes slanted into daggers as she had a backbone like the others today. ”You know, I’m getting sick and tired, of people today having the gull to speak back to the one who shall rule over all in this world.” Ignazio growled as he reached down towards the holster on the side of his leg and opened the leather mouth once more, this time his slender fingers pulled three cards from the top of the pile and only fully removed the third card. The face of the card was of a man on a chariot of sorts. ”Hear me now demon, you will not speak to your master in such a way ever again in your life. I’ll give you my name, and I don’t expect you to get it wrong or forget it ever again! My name is Ignazio Barthomeloi, the next heir to the Barthomeloi family.” Ignazio called out as he showed her the face of the card as a white gas started to fall from the card and circle the body of the boy.

As the smoke glided over the water it started to freeze. Ignazio moved his left thumb over the seal of the card and closed his eyes as the white mist branched out more and more, freezing the surface of the water. ”One of the five elements that build the Earth, o’ graceful mother of life, the frozen tundra that gives birth to the dreams that terrify, the warm touch of justice that destroys evildoers, while bringing death and destruction at the same time, it also shields the heat and light. Ice is the name, grace and beauty is the title! Show yourself weapon of death! Hyorinmaru!” Ignazio quickly chanted as the card began to illuminate with power before bursting with pure Qi. Mountains of ice began to form around Ignazio as a long crimson lance came from the face of the card. The tamer pulled the lance free from the spiritual world and into this material one and with a swift motion placed the card back into the holster before he spun the lance around his body and stopped with his right hand at the head and his left near the rear of the pole. The blade of the lance wasn’t just at a single point but it had eight others underneath the head. Ignazio allowed the tip of the red spear to touch the water slightly causing the surface to freeze around the head of the spear.

”Now, I asked you a question, you will answer and obey me. What is your name!” he yelled as he held his stance with the lance widening his legs in order to burst forward if need be. The barrier he once created had vanished as ice took its place.

Oh, had she aggravated him? Following his hands as he moved to a holster in order to remove yet another card, she became quiet. Master? A Barthomeloi brat had managed to summon her, and as it stood, she was not sure whether or not it was because of the blood he inherited or because of his own power. However, his next summoning had destroyed whatever doubts she had about the male. But even still, she would not be intimidated. " I will do no such thing." spoke Tsukiumi as her arms slowly fell to her sides. Nothing about his current state warranted respect. In fact, in her eyes and probably the eyes of whomever had the gall to talk back to him, he appeared like a giant, spoiled baby. "If one should rule over the world, should he not act more like a ruler instead of an immature brat?" questioned Tsukium as he glared once more at the male. While she would say nothing nor give any visual ques, he was beginning to pass in her book, but more would be required of him.

"If you are to rule the world with such an attitude, expect it to be taken from you through betrayal, poisoning, and treachery. Is that how you expect to garner respect from those around you? If so, then it is no wonder that your associates would speak back to you. If you are to take over the world then you need people by your side, and the opinions of others will help to capture the world even quicker. But, if you are to arrogant to understand such a simple concept, then by all means, feel free to continue as you are now. Just understand that it will ultimately end in your death." Now, there was the trouble of what the weapon he summoned could do if she did nothing in responce. However, she knew where the seal was, and if it came to it, she would send herself back to Gehenna of her own free will.

The Barthomeloi heir clinched hold of the lance, his fingers laced around the neck of the weapon forged from the dragon’s own power he called upon, his eyes closed as he listened to her words and as it pained him to hear the chilled words there was truth behind it. Like the frigid water he stood upon Ignazio knew there was something that was forcing this outcome, was it the will of the world or was it really this woman. ”I don’t need any of them, I’ll take this world with my own hands and my own power. I am a child of the Barthomeloi family, I won’t be silenced or killed by something so easily. I won’t allow you or anyone to speak to me so lowly.” Ignazio stood up and spun the lance around before stabbing it into the water, causing it to swiftly freeze the area around ”All I need in this world are those whom are loyal to me, and someone to stand by my choices no matter what.” Ignazio removed the lance from the ice causing shards to dance around his face as he started to walk towards he maiden made up of water. As Ignazio reached a good distance between himself and the woman he closed his eyes and started to knell down to her as he raised his left hand to her.

”You speak as if you’ve experience betrayal and heartache of those whom didn’t obey your command. You must be experience and wise, for that, I want you. Let’s try this once again. My name is Ignazio Barthomeloi, I humbly ask the goddess of the water, to bestow upon me her name. I may be but a child to you now, but one day, one day I swear I will become this realm’s king, and in order for me to do such, I must rely on the strength of others from time to time, and when that day comes when I have my own power, I want someone to be by my side.” Ignazio lowered his head as he spoke trying to remove eye contact and keep himself appearing to be humble, as he made a proposal of sorts, he hated having to kneel before anyone, and doing something like this was embarrassing and even humiliating. ”I ask you once more, please tell me your name.” the boy asked as he raised his head and gave his princely gaze and smile to the water apparition. Eyes shimmering in the light that was reflected off of the ice that was beneath him; the water that was before the ice sectioned off the territory between Ignazio’s area and the nameless water apparition.
