"Should I? Is it really necessary anymore?..." The half breed said aloud, talking to himself as he stared out the window. "I could say I've been resting from the ghoul fight. Urk.. Well, not ghoul fight. Maybe I got hit by a bus on the trip? No not a bus... Falling down the stairs and breaking a bone maybe?" The young man went on and on about the different types of excuses he could use to keep himself from going to the academy, and scratched his head. Its not like he never skipped class before; What would be the difference if he missed some more now?

As he tapped his finger on the desk, a loud grumbling sound was heard. It went on for a good thirty seconds, signifying the young man's hunger. Was it lunch time? Or was he just hungry? The half breed never knew these days, since he seemed to be eating something every hour or so. Sighing, the young man reached under his desk felt around for his stash. Nope. Not a single item was left from his recent excursion to the store. Next, he walked to his next spot, under his bed. The half breed kept it relatively clean in his room despite what people might think. This is mainly because he likes to keep a stash of snacks in his room at all times. Shaking his head as he realized there was none in that spot, the half breed slowly rose up and stared at his closet. The boy's footsteps were barely heard as he raced across the room, and opened the sliding door. He reached under the hanging blazers, pants, shirts and other jackets that were there, searching for a box. After feeling for what he was looking for, the young man perked up. He pulled the blue suitcase out, and put in the code to unlock it. Once the numbers had snapped into place, it opened, and to his unpleasant surprise; The box was empty. Not even a piece of candy or small bag of chips were left. He grimaced. Sighing, he put the box back, feeling both sorrow and hunger. "Damn you, Titus Fulbright for eating so much!" He shook his fist in the air as he took off his blazer and exchanged it for a black windbreaker with a gold zipper. The rules stated that he was required to wear either his uniform or house colors when going out for matters unrelated to school. Well, at least in Campus Town. The young man felt the jacket a bit before deciding to go out. It was perfect for the current weather, as he knew he would not need to worry about the rain with it on. As he zipped it up and put the hood on, he checked his pockets for everything he needed. Food money, keys, phone. Smiling, the young man took the thin sleeve bag and strapped it across his body.

Taking a peek outside his dorm room, he smirked. There were a couple people in the hallway chatting, none being very important at the moment. The coast was clear. He chuckled as he locked his door, and headed for the ramen stand in downtown. Hopefully, the old man was still there serving the good tasting ramen, after all the time that had passed. For Titus' sake.

Kurthnaga house. Had it ever looked so... nice? The half breed let out a sigh of pleasure as he paused for a moment to take in the sight of the house. Maybe it was because he had just been promoted? Regardless, the silver haired male was happy. The male had just had a meal, he retrieved snacks, AND he got promoted as a REAL Exorcist. Life was playing out smoothly for him at the moment. As he entered the common room, he noticed about the same number of students there. He was wearing black and gold, so he figured he'd be alright. None of them looked particularly threatening anyway. However, he really wasn't looking for trouble, so he let his hood hang over his head. If worse came to worse, those oblivious to his royal heritage would end up messing with him as they usually did. That was something he did not feel like dealing with.

Casually, he walked to his room, holding back the urge to look back at any of the stares he received. Once he arrived at his room, he unlocked the door, with shock. The room looked... Cleaner than usual. In fact; All of his things were gone! "What the hell? Did I just... Get robbed?!" The half breed took a look around the room, and noticed a single letter on the table in the center.

      Titus Fulbright,
Congratulations on your promotion to Lower First Class. As an "incentive", we have neatly placed all of your belongings in Room 252. Please leave the key to this room on the table you found this letter. Within the envelope should be the key to your new room. Remember to keep working as hard as you can for the sake of humanity. You are the future, after all.

      - Kurtnaga Dorm Master

The silver haired male calmed down quite a bit after reading the note. With no questions, he took one last look at the room he had been in since the beginning of his freshman year. Back then he had no interest whatsoever in the thing known as exorcism. Flashbacks of all the times he had with his former roommate and cousin made him laugh, but soon that laugh turned into sad silence. It was bittersweet for the young man for some reason; Taki-Taki left without saying a word, same with Tenri. Shaking his head, he walked out of the room, leaving it for the last time.

After finding his new room, the young man smiled. His own room, all to himself. What was it gonna be like? Truthfully, the young man knew that it wouldn't be too fancy, as he was only Lower Class. As he opened the door he smiled. He took his boots off, and shook off his windbreaker as he put it on the coat rack. Whistling a happy tune, the young man set his sleeve bag on the bed, and began his investigation of the room to make sure his stuff really was there. First was the closet; So far, so good. It had all of his blazers, pants, school shoes he never wore, and suitcases. Next was the book shelf. All of the books he ever owned, and a few new ones were there, neatly organized by title. 'Wow... Whoever did this had a LOT of time on their hands. Sheesh.' He shook his head, and sat in the desk chair.

Looking outside the window, he noticed that it was facing the back of the dorms rather than the front. No jumping in from here. Sighing, he closed the blinds, and sat on the bed. Surprisingly, it felt pretty comfortable. Sleeping would not be an issue for him. Now that he knew that his new "base of operations" was reliable, he sat down and took out his phone. He went to his list of contacts, and scrolled down to the 'H' section. The only contact there was "Home", which he clicked a little phone icon in order to initiate a phone call. Three rings sounded, before someone finally picked up.

"Souga wesidence. Who's speaking?" The cute and childish speech was unfamiliar to the half breed, as he didn't remember there being any "little" ones staying at the Souga residence last time he was there. The only child he could think of was Tenri's younger sister, as there were no other babies born from the Souga family; Last time he checked... "Eh? Is that... Little Tama-chan on the phone?" That was a surprise to Titus, remembering that the toddler girl wasn't able to speak before he left home. It seemed time was passing fast, if she was already answering the phone. 'Actually, doesn't Tenri's family live in Osaka?... What are they doing at the Souga house?' Scratching his head, he listened to the little girl talk. It was... Cute, to say the least. "Its Titus, Tama-chan. Can you give the phone to gram-, Grandpa please?" The little girl agreed, but yelled for her mother instead. Aoi Souga was his mother's cousin, who chose the simple life of... What did she do again? Oh well. She was oblivious to the whole exorcist scene, and did not know about Titus' true identity. "Titus? Is that you?" The half breed held back a sigh, not wanting to be rude to one of the only family members he had. "Yes, yes, hi auntie, long time no talk." "How have you been doing lately? Are your grades improving?" "Urk- Ah... Slowly." He could almost feel the disappointment on the other end of the line, and gulped. Before she could say anything in response he changed the topic. "Could you switch the phone over to gramps? I gotta tell him something. Its urgent." The woman hesitated for a bit, but eventually she called for her uncle. "Titus...?" The old man's voice sounded worried, yet it was still recognizable. "Hey gramps! Are you guys doing well? You won't believe what I have GOT to tell you!" The young man smirked, waiting for the old man to respond with excitement. "Oh? What kind of news do you have for me? "I got promoted! I'm officially a Lower First Class Exorcist! I did it! I passed! Did'ya watch the exams? Did'ya?" Majiro laughed over the phone lightly, seeming rather pleased with the boy's statement. "That's wonderful Titus. Maybe if your grades were better, you would have been promoted to Middle Class! Well, you should have done a little more than sit underground, boy. And your fight was cancelled... For good reason. I suppose I had nothing to worry about then..."

Titus frowned a little as the old man muttered about worrying about him. "Worry? Why would you have to worry about me Gramps?" The half breed seemed confused, not being able to understand the reason why his grandfather would worry. Silence lasted for a bit, until Majiro spoke once more. "Well.. When Tenri came home... She told me about what happened at the Vatican.. You and three others were put on trial. I thought you were going to tell me your last goodbyes when your aunt said it was urgent..." The mood of the conversation turned to one of depression and negativity real fast. "Gramps... I thought you knew me better than that. I can't be killed off THAT easy. And besides, what kind of guy dies in such a boring way without even doing anything? Please have more faith. Sure, the secret's out within the exorcist community, but... That won't change my ambition or goals..." The half breed paused for a moment before he spoke up one last time. "So sit back in your hot springs, and just wait on the day that you hear the name of the exorcist, Titus Fulbright, praised in the streets for slaying Satan! Okay?" He grinned and involuntarily pointed his thumb to his chest, and corrected himself. "Well, actually, if I don't have any missions to do during the next break, I'll visit back home. Tell Grandma and the rest I said hi, okay? See ya!" Without waiting for his grandfather to say goodbye, he ended the call, and tossed his phone onto his bed. It was kind of refreshing to know he had someone who cared about him like that, but at the same time, he felt a little guilty for letting his family worry like that.

'I have to get stronger... I can't let people worry about me anymore... I have to be able to rely on myself at all times...' Serious thoughts surfaced in his mind as he looked at his right hand. Slowly he balled it into a fist, watching a vein protrude from under his skin. 'I've gotta learn how to control my powers way better than they are now... Its the only way.'

The rain fell lightly along the grounds, outside in the courtyard of the large brick building, a circle of students had circled a girl with long blonde hair wearing silver armor. The girl was holding a rather large sword. A crimson cape flowed from her back as she stood in the middle of the crowd; her sky blue eyes glared at the large doors before her. Many of the males that hard circled her were yelling at her for beating up a large amount of the males in the area. While these males were simple humans and a few were exorcist in training trying to protect their home, there was something off about this girl. She took a step forward, with her legs exposed from her short armored skirt. Her left arm covered by a shield. The sound of metal clicking along each other as she walked only caused the males to back away slowly making as she began to approach closer to them; the circle got bigger as she walked closer. ”Stand out of my way fools, for I have no need for the likes of you lowly scum. For I am the Hero Emilia, you will stop this foolishness and move out of my way; for a great evil dwells within these walls. I am here for the head of the King of all Demons; for I speakith of Satan.” she spoke as she walked and then held her sword into the air. Qi began to circle around the blade rapidly, coating it in a golden color. ”For my blade Excalibur shall destroy the demon lord in one fail swoop!”

The girl lowered the sword and pointed it before her and her eyes glared at the people before her. ”I get it now, you’ve all been swayed by the devil himself. I shall purify you all with my holy blade! Excalibur hear me, and help me rid these poor fools of their demonic possession.” she called out as she took another step forward. Emilia’s eyes scanned around as she slashed the sword towards the right sending out a blade of wind towards the crowd. The crowd quickly moved out of the way screaming in fear. The girl smirked before sheathing her blade on her left side. ”Now, do you see my power? Bring out your master, and let his blood runith over and free your corrupted souls. For I have the blood of an Angel and that of a Human. Allow me to tell you once more demons. I am Emilia the Hero, I am a level seventy Paladin. I will bring forth justice to this world and free you from the curse you have brought upon this land. Prepare thy selves.”

Emilia took a step backwards as she began to enter a quick drawing stance. Her right hand over the hilt of her blade, posture was wide, yet closed off. Her arm seemed relaxed and loose up to her shoulder. She was ready to go into battle.

After dropping his hand, the young man looked to the book shelf. Maybe he had a book or two that could help him out? There were a lot of them after all. The man opened it, and traced his index finger across them, looking at the titles. Nope. Nothing that would help his case right now. Sighing, he took a look at the desk, which only contained school supplies at the moment. That was where he had set his snacks for the time being. ' Maybe they'll have something in the restricted section of the Library? Urk, but wait, I've never even been to the library... Except that one time during freshman year.. Am I even allowed to go in there?' Scratching his head, he sighed, and headed out. Perhaps it was time for him to go to school?

As he opened the door, he heard a number of things. One. Students were either running into their rooms or running out of the building in fear of something. Now, Titus didn't really know any of the students in House Kurthnaga, but if they were grouped into the house of the courageous and strong Black Fire Dragon, he knew that most things wouldn't cause such panic. Slowly, the young man grabbed his windbreaker again, and his sword strapped across his back inside the same case as it usually was in. 'What the hell's going on?' Two. The conversations some of the students were having were rather strange... He walked by some of the students, hearing their conversations. "She's crazy! That girl out there is wielding the legendary sword Excalibur!" "What'd she say she was again? A level seventy paladin?" Titus' facial expression turned to one of mockery, as he chuckled to himself. 'What the hell are they talking about? There's no way anyone out there is wielding Excalibur. Unless Lloyd had a gender change and is going berserk! And this Paladin business... What is this, a video game?' Shaking his head, he kept walking as the screams of the students got louder. Looking outside one of the windows of the common room, he could see a big crowd, blocking the path toward True Cross Academy. "Tch. Just my luck." Shaking his head, he tapped tip of both of his boots twice onto the ground, and put the hood of his windbreaker on. As he thrust his hands into his pockets, the half breed did his best to walk around the circle, rather than run in. He had no time for that, considering ninety percent of the students in the dorms treated him like trash. However, the young man was a little curious as to what the source of the commotion was. So instead of trying to go around like he said he would, he ended up headed toward the front. There wasn't much resistance to stop him from going forward. However, in order for him not to cause any attention being drawn to himself, he kept his hood on, and only went far enough to where he could see whoever it was that was tormenting the students.

In the center of the circle was a blonde girl in... A cute cosplay knight outfit. Whether or not the armor she was wearing was real or not couldn't be told from the half breed's current position. It seemed that she was ready to draw her blade from her stance, which automatically was a cause for concern... If the sword was real. 'Who the HELL ordered a cosplay girl? And is that sword even real?' Silently, the half breed watched, so far being undetected by anyone in the crowd. Well, of course he could be seen, but none of them pointed out "Its Titus!" and none of the exorcist students tried run away in fear of him.

Emilia pulled the blade from the sheath releasing a bright golden light as the sword revealed itself; this caused the crowd to hold their hands up and shield their eyes from bright light. Emilia took hold of the blade firmly before she turned and noticed the hooded figure. She pointed the blade towards Titus and started to walk slowly towards him. The armor clanking against each piece as she walked at an even pace ”For Satan hides behind the masks of man; I shall destroy the evil you have cast upon these humans. I Emilia the Hero am here to slay you.” she said proudly before her footsteps stopped and she prepared herself for battle and took a lung off of the ground and dashed towards the section of the crowd Titus was in. As the water touched the girl’s armor it simply evaporated as the sword seemed to produce a slight barrier with the Qi that was coming off of it; or so it appeared. ”Take this demon! Celestial SLASH!” she called out as her body began to rotate and the thrust became a slash, releasing a bright wave of golden light towards Titus in the form of a cross. As the golden cross slashed through the ground, it appeared to have a melting effect on everything it touched. The crowd began to run out of the way screaming in a panic. After her attack her feet tapped along the ground and slid across the stone before she pushed backwards and ready herself for another attack. ’I can feel it. There terror, it’s filling my poor. Yes, the more they fear the more power I have. The gem of Astaroth is a very nice item in my party.’

The hero as she claimed readied her shield on her left arm and held it before her as her blade pointed towards the ground. ”Feel the wrath of the people! I shall destroy you Satan in the name of the Holy Church of Pandemonium you shall perish.” Emilia swirled the blade around as a purple energy began to leak off of the bodies of the running people and entered the guard of the sword. Emilia smirked as her energy was replenished after her attack. ”Yes, the heavens are in my favor. With the demon’s eye I can replenish my strength. I shall use this evil to destroy evil and therefore, I am a hero! The Hero Emilia” she called out as she stood up bravely and began to let out a victorious laughter, throwing her head back. Her breast plate moved up and down as she laughed harder. It was almost like the sound of a catcalling hyena or even a dying cat.

This girl was extremely serious, and by the looks of it, she was beyond the help of normal reasoning. As the crowd cowered before her might and the sword she claimed was Excalibur. This so called Hero was like something out of a video game. She was clearly a player of Pandemonium; but the question was, why was a player of Pandemonium attacking in the middle of the day? Most of the battles between Pandemonium players were done at night or in secret. So why was this girl attacking a private school and shooting about Satan? Asides from her crazy tactics of killing the King of all Demons, she was very beautiful, and looked like the Angel she claimed to be.

Titus looked at the girl with scorn as she pulled out the blade. Its light was bright enough to make him have to squint, causing him to grit his teeth. 'Okay, this went from inconvenient to annoying in about three seconds. Put that damn fake Excalibur away you cosplaying... Eh?' As Titus was in mid thought, he noticed that the blade was being pointed in his direction. Had she noticed him? 'I knew it was a bad idea to see what's going on...' He listened closely to the sound of her armor. It was indeed real, which meant that her little shining blade was a no imitation sword either. However, it wasn't quite Excalibur, so the young man wasn't too worried. As she stepped closer to him, the crowd in that area backed away. The blonde girl began to speak again, which caused him to pinch the center of his face, at the nose. "Oh man, this child is crazy..." Shaking his head, he looked to see her lunging toward him. She screamed some sort of attack move, causing him to jump out of the way as soon as she did. The strange cross of light burned into the ground, dissipating only after it had passed a few more meters from where Titus usually stood.

In response, the young man took out the sword out of its case, and held it by the sheathe as he slid across the wet stone. The "audience" was terrified of this cute blonde, and Titus found it annoying how they all just stood there. He couldn't take it any longer. "HEY! You dumb blonde cosplayer! Stop spoutin' this damn bullshit!" The half breed barked, and then turned his head toward the remaining crowd. "The hell are you lookin' at? Leave! Go! Run! Go to class! Are you trying to die?! This has nothing to do with you! You're all useless so get your heads out of yours asses and GET OUT OF HERE!" The half breed hoped that they'd listen to him, since he couldn't fight her without Kurikara. He ran the risk of killing more than a few of the students if he happened to use the blade while in they were still in the area.

"Feel the wrath of the people! I shall destroy you Satan in the name of the Holy Church of Pandemonium you shall perish." Titus' expression became a snarled one as she kept on talking. 'Pandemonium?... The hell? What's that?' The young man took glances around to see purple energy being pulled into the guard of the girl's sword. She took the time to explain what had just happened. She replenished herself with the "demon's eye", which made no sense to Titus at all. Obviously she was absorbing her power from SOMETHING in the area, but... What? Shaking his head, he pointed at the girl again. "Listen here you cute cosplayer! My name is TITUS FULBRIGHT! Not SATAN! I don't care where the hell you came from, but I'M THE ONE THAT'S GONNA KILL THAT b*****d!" The young man seemed to have been so offended by her wanting to destroy Satan that he hadn't noticed he slipped up as soon as he spoke. "So you can either take yourself and your fake Excalibur back to a psychologist to get that brain of yours checked, OR you can stay for a beating." The young man barked as he still held onto Kurikara's sheathe, his thumb on guard of the blade.

Agnès “Clementine” Edelfelt

Aria || Tamer || Upper 1st Class

There was a flash of qi coming from someone or something in the distance as they neared the Kurthnaga dorm, yet its shape was so unusual that Agnès couldn’t be sure what it was. It seemed to be linear in nature yet.. it wasn’t a typical shape for qi at all.. Which usually flowed freely unless the user was highly capable in qi manipulation. Doctor’s in particular tended to have such control of their qi.. It would seem there were two arguing parties, a blonde haired girl and the white haired male who had been deemed the son of Satan not much more than a week before. It would have appeared the blonde haired girl wielded some sort of blade, and wore armor like she were some sort of a knight. Her blade bearing striking similarities to the famed Excalibur. Yet, something told the Edelfelt woman it wasn’t the same blade. The Yggdamillennia’s Sword Saint had the true Excalibur… ‘So what blade do you wield.. girl?’ Agnès questioned herself.

The three beasts found a vestige point high above the pair, on the roof of dorm itself.. Several stories above the two. They had come at the tail end of Titus Fulbright’s speech to the girl. He seemed almost confused, perhaps to why the girl had attempted to attack him in the first place? And was intent on denying his heritage, perhaps for the benefit of other students- cram school or otherwise. Agnès couldn’t be sure.. Yet she was fairly sure the two hadn’t noticed her creatures coming in from above. They had silently descended to the place they now stood, following their masters orders. The Edelfelt woman leaped from An’givare’s back and landed with a subtle click of her boots against the flat roof of the Kurthnaga house dorm. She remained in her crouch, near enough to the edge to be able to peer down and observe, yet difficult to see by those who may have looked up above.

The beasts near her side merely curled up against the damp roof, unbothered by the fight below. Knowing their master tended to be one to observe rather than get involved too early. Many criticized this sort of approach- feeling it to be too risky and dangerous. Especially if the one being observed was in a potentially dangerous situation… The lack of control that could be exerted by the senior exorcist if things took a deadly turn was the main concern. Yet, despite these concerns Agnès still tended to be an observer rather than a protector. And here she was, watching the son of Satan preparing to bare his fangs.. Against a relative unknown. The pale haired woman could only wonder who the girl was, and why she was here.. Picking a fight with this particular half breed. A dark smirk crossed the woman’s lips as she waited in anticipation- a certain excitement and interest to see which would prove to be the stronger party. Agnès would pretend she was the agent and spy of the Western Wind- like she had been a few short weeks before.. Not the head mistresses who had some responsibility for the lives of her student body… and the condition of the grounds.

Emilia’s eyes slightly narrowed as the male evaded her attack, this caused the young knight to change her stance and tap the blade on her armored shoulder. The rain continued to pour down causing strands of the sun like hair to stick to her face. Her face appeared to be like the spring sky that was hidden behind the darken rain clouds. Eyes that were as blue as the azure sky, face that was pale like the clouds that floated carelessly in the sky while the radiant sun which was represented by her hair swirled back and forth within the brisk winds. The self-proclaimed Hero pointed the blade she claimed was Excalibur towards the half demon before her. Within her eyes she saw the demonic aura swirling around Titus’ body that wasn’t normally visible unless he unsheathed his sword, that held his heart captive; sealed within the demon sword. Emilia blushed as she began yelling. ”Hey! That’s against the rules; you’re not supposed to reveal your real name or you’ll lose your ticket to Pandemonium!” ’But since he didn’t burst into flames like the others, he must be on a pretty high level, which allows him to reveal his true identity. There’s no way I’m losing to a bottom feeder like this.’ Her sapphire eyes never yielded and the tone and pitch of her voice never decreased or changed. ”Don’t start talking to me all high and mighty! You picked the location and time Satan! Like I told you on the forum, I won’t be taken down by someone who gains their powers from the negative emotions of others. Those other players might fear you. But I don’t. You see, I obtained Avalon last night, so now the holy sword and shield is one complete item. You won’t be able to beat me.”

The subtle shade of pink vanished from her face as she changed her position to an offensive stance. She then gripped the hilt of the blade with her left hand, along the bottom and glared. Adding a second hand to the blade would increase her power in her strike which was a typical way of wielding a blade of this variety. ”Defeating you will get me a first class ticket to Pandemonium and knowing where the location the holy castle will appear. Nothing you say or do will get in my way.” she said as her left foot slid across the slippery stone and her right leg moved behind her back. The tip of the blade grazed stone, ever so slightly before a rapid swirl of energy began to swell up around Emilia’s body. The golden light was so bright, it resembled her first attack. ”That first attack was just a warning. Now I’ll show you something real good. I hope you’re ready for it.” she growled lowly just seconds before pushing off of the ground and running towards her target. The water under her feet scattered as she ran; the energy began to channel itself into the very blade as she neared Titus. Emilia didn’t even notice that the students around had ran away, even after he requested they fought in a public area in the middle of the day time. ”You sent your subject away, pity, because you might actually need their help to defeat me! Because I’M A HERO! Now take this! Herooooooooic!” She began screaming at Titus as she started to prepare her attack before reaching him. The energy around the blade seemed to extend the reach of the blade making it longer and wider. Digging through the stone itself; the sound of electricity stripping along the stone as she cut through it as if it was nothing but a sheet of paper.

Titus looked at her with a dumbfounded look. She was... Blushing? He wanted to laugh at the girl, but he was too pissed off to form a smile on his face. Instead, his brows furrowed as he barked back to the blonde knight in confusion. "Rules? What rules? And what is this Pande-whatsit you're talking about?" The blonde girl kept on yelling words of nonsense, which continued to annoy the half breed. "I did what?! I never went on a forum! And stop calling me Satan, Cosplay Hero!" He pointed his finger as he addressed the blushing blonde clad in armor 'What the hell is this Pandemonium s**t she's talking about? And why does she keep on saying she has Excalibur?' The whole situation was driving the half breed mad, and all he wanted to do was go and get a book from the library. Figures something school related would put him in a mess like this. The half breed was beginning to lose faith in trying to do anything school related because of this stupid incident.

The young man heard her talk about Pandemonium again, and now his left eye was twitching. "Look, I've never even heard of this stupid crap! You're getting damn annoying with this crap." The silver haired half breed watched the girl dash toward him once more, causing him to shake his head. As he had hoped, the students had cleared the area after being threatened by the "fool" or "thug" of the campus. Now that he felt that no bystanders were going to get hurt, the half breed was feeling confident about fighting. "You asked for it, Cosplay Hero. I gave you a chance to walk away..." The young man ripped the Kurikara from its sheath, revealing the azure flames that encased his body. His tail wiggled out from under his jacket, and the tuft burned blue as well. He took note of the girl's two handed wield, and heard the sound of electricity cutting through the solid stone below. The gleam of the fake Excalibur got worse with each running step the girl took closer to the half breed, which made him want to protect his eyes. However, the young man did his best to keep his eyes on his foe, and in turn leaped into the air toward her. The young man took the Kurikara's blade in both hands, striking the blonde in a downward motion as he descended from his leap.

”You’re either really strong, or really stupid. Both things piss me off about you. And don’t call the Camelot Armor simple cosplay. It’s not! It’s the heavenly armor given to me for achieving a mid-level within Pandemonium. It raised my defenses up to three hundred and for every five minutes I’m in combat, my physical strength will increase by ten percent. In a simple battle between the two of us, you won’t win. Your stats a clearly blocked, by some sort of item; but I won’t let that get the best of me. ” She called as she was running towards Titus whom to her appeared to be playing dumb. Emilia’s long blonde hair trailed behind her as the energy around the sword had finally activated and was ready to be released.

The girl smirked as she saw the male finally appear to be serious and took on the rumored demonic form, the tail and everything was included in what she was told the mysterious level seventy Demon Lord was capable of, even the burning sword. She began to yell as she pushed herself off of the ground and released a slash to parry his burning sword ”SMAAAASHER!”she screamed as the energy that had extended around Excalibur was released in a single instant granting her the secret ability of the sword upon the exchange in blows. Her movements then changed as the two blade connected but only for an instance as she felt she was being over powered by his strength alone. Emilia twirled her body on an axis within midair releasing Titus from her parry and using his force against him to cause him to fall towards the ground, in the meanwhile as she moved behind his body she made her strike for the blade to slash against his back. Originally she was making her way for his neck, but due to the water from the rain, it hindered her vision. After the strike she would flip backwards and land on the ground before preparing for another attack. The girl breathed heavily as she held the shield up before her. ”The Heroic Smasher is Excalibur number one technique. It destroys demonic aura. You see, the more Excalibur hits your blade the less powerful those flames will become, and that means less fire power from you. My Cape is the Cape of Justice, which grants me the ability to fly for a short period of time, and my shield here is Avalon, which protects the wielder from any magical damage that comes in contact with it. This match will be over in an instant. So please just die with some dignity. Because I’m the Hero Emilia!” she called over to Titus as she winked before dashing towards Titus again after she caught her breath.

When the young man made contact with the girl's blade, he tried to force her down. Instead, she parried, shifting all of that strength into the ground which in turn caused a crater from where the sword connected. The half breed tried his best to recover, but felt the fake Excalibur steel rip across his back. He grimaced in pain as he jumped away from the girl, gritting his teeth to prevent him from yelling. It was only a flesh wound. Standing across from the girl, he began to complain. "When I'm done with you, I'm gonna make you pay for a new jacket and shirt..." The young man growled in a low tone. His flames began to intensify the more he spoke, almost showing the anger he was harboring toward his current opponent. Not only did she attack him for an unknown, and possibly stupid reason, but she had managed to rip through his clothes that he'd just bought.

The half breed's azure eyes stared at the blonde as she spoke with misplaced confidence. She was breathing pretty heavily even though the fight had just started. Titus figured she was really trying her hardest to get to this Pandemonium or whatever she was talking about. "Oh? Did I ASK you? When did you hear me say 'Oh Cosplay hero, can you tell me about yourself?" The half breed spoke in a condescending tone, before he rose his head, almost looking down on the girl. "The fact you have a move that sounds so lame proves how much of a fraud you are, Cosplay Hero. Just fight and cut the crap." He was really tired of hearing the battle crazed blonde talk, and wanted to shut her up.

This time, instead of jumping at her, he kept himself on the ground, since the last time he was parried and ended up taking damage. He believed that he needed to shake her up and get an opening out of her if he was going to knock her out. As he got within range, the half breed began to repeat swinging his burning blade in no particular order. Though it wasn't much of a plan, the randomness yet quickness of the strikes was to ensure that the blonde had no chance to parry him again, by overwhelming her with his slashes. However, if he did get caught up in a clash, the half breed planned to back away, and then resume the same thing. It would tire the both of them out, but he had confidence that his stamina would out last the "Hero" Emilia's.

”You’re so stupid!” she managed to yell before coming to a stop and leaping backwards as she dodged the strikes one after another and a few times brought her shield up to protect herself form the blade. The second the burning sword made contact with the shield the flames vanished for a second. Emilia continue to back up as she dodged the random strikes, she appeared to be running low on stamina but that wasn’t really the case, her armor was just extremely heavy for a girl of her size to actually wear. ”What’s the matter? Can’t hit a little cosplayer?” she mocked as she glanced behind herself noticing a statue was coming closer. Upon them reaching the statue that looked to be that of a man riding on a dragon, she raised the shield up to block the strike cause the flames to vanish. She then quickly pushed forward and yelled as she thrust Excalibur forward as the sword glowed a bright gold once again before a massive beam of energy was released. ”Demon Hunter!” she screamed as the beam of energy began to leave the sword in order to pierce through the very chest of the demon. While his strength may have been much higher than her own, nothing he did could defeat her skills as a Knight in terms of defensive skills and weaponry tactics. She also had her speed at her advantage. Emilia smirked widely as she came in for the kill. Her head nearing his own face as her strike initially came from her ducking down with the shield above her head as she pushed the half demon’s sword away; and with that came her strike towards his heart. ”This will be the end of you! You won’t escape the power of the Demon Hunter.” she said as the attack continued to expand. It was almost like time was moving slowly as it was branching off of the golden blade in the form a massive beam.

As Titus wildly swung, he noticed that the girl really had been telling the truth in her explanation of her equipment. 'The hell? Why are the flames disappearing?' Regardless, he rather foolishly kept going, despite the fact his blue flames were constantly getting absorbed or "destroyed" by the shield. She spoke rather smugly, causing his eye to twitch, and his teeth to grit. 'Why the hell can't I hit her? Dammit!' As his rage continued, the half breed swung one last time as hard as he possibly could, and was in turn blocked once more. The blonde had caught him, and the flames were disappearing, just like the last time. The hand carrying his sword was pushed out of the way, and the girl proceeded to thrust her blade; The sword aiming for his heart. 'Shitshitshitshitshitshit... I GOTTA MOVE; NOW!' The half breed's eyes widened as the golden blade moved closer, the world seemed to slow down between the two. Was the tale of Titus Fulbright really going to be over because some cute psycho cosplaying knight had challenged him to a fight? As he pleaded to himself, he had inadvertently activated more of his demonic abilities; Naturally he had no clue he was able to use the skill known as God Speed, but he was able to exert his qi in order to send a sort of "wave" to his brain that told the body to do exactly what he wanted. To move out of harms way. Despite this, the half breed was still cut by the sword, though much less life threatening than being stabbed in the heart. As he moved out of the way, he took this moment to counter with a strong spin kick aimed for the female's head. A knock out was what he was going for; Like he had planned from the beginning.

As the beam missed its target it raced across the field and destroyed a group of trees. The girl’s eyes widen as she was in complete shock that she missed. ”Impossible…he dodge it”. In complete awe at the speed that was displayed she completely missed the counter that was coming towards her until the last second which caused her to bring her right arm up in attempts to black the male’s foot before it connected to the side of her face. She was only fast enough to catch the attack, but due to the poor footing his overpowering strength sent her flying. Emilia let out a powerful scream as she went flying which was followed by the crashing sound of her body and armor connecting to the ground as she rolled roughly until smashing into a tree. The connection of her body hitting the tree caused it to tumble over. The destruction that was caused from the girl simply being skipped across the ground like a stone across water, was enormous. Her armor ripped through the ground completely. The silver armor padding was left across the ground, but soon began to vanish as the girl laid unconscious next to the destroyed tree. Her blonde hair was stained with red on the edges as blood flowed from her forehead, but this wasn’t her only injury. She had a few fractured ribs and a broken arm thanks to the excessive force shown by Titus. As the remainder of the armor vanished, the sword and shield disappeared as well, leaving just the girl in a long blue and white dress; it belonged to a nearby private high school, which rivaled True Cross in terms of academics and status. A cellphone fell from her right hand as her grip was completely gone and a message appeared on the screen which read: ‘Emilia the Hero, you lose. Pandemonium claims your soul.’

As his foot connected, the half breed went all the way through with his strike, with no remorse. He landed with his back turned toward the girl that was sent flying, handed on the ground to catch himself from falling all the way. As he rose up from his squatting position, the boy turned his head only to realize what he had done. At first he was smiling, about to gloat to the cosplaying girl. The fight was over, and he knew it. But, now that she laid against the tree, he felt incredibly guilty and terrified with what he had done. Had he killed that cute girl?

"H-Hey! Cosplaying Hero!" His voice was loud, yet there was worry in his voice as he ran over to the blonde. She had reverted back to a normal girl, making the matter worse to the silver haired half breed. 'Shitshitshitshitshiiiiit! What in the hell were you thinking Titus! God dammit!' The silver haired half breed was panicked, but noticed something; The girl had truly lost all of the "equipment" that she had once bore. Furthermore, he saw her cellphone, with a strange yet simple message on it. "Emilia the Hero, you lose. Pandemonium claims your soul." 'The hell? What the f*** is this Pandemonium s**t?' Titus was seriously getting tired of it all, and needed answers. But who would know about this? He thought for a moment, as he lifted the girl into his arms as a last minute attempt to save the girl.

"Please don't be dead, you stupid cosplayer...." The young man pleaded, as he carefully held his former opponent. Looking around, the half breed didn't know what to do next. He took hesitant strides toward the academy, hoping that the girl could be saved by a doctor.
