"Ufufufufufu, you think you're special?" The black version of Jo(shu) smiled widely, a mouthful of razor sharp fangs tinted red and laughing at the Summoner as his form changed. The creature disappeared and reappeared behind Michieru, thrusting the sword towards his exposed back as magnetite formed along it again, turning the weapon into a long and deadly spear. If Jo(shu) wasn't careful, he'd end up impaled on the long shaft of a weapon that wasn't even real, and that would be a pitiful end for any bloke; but with the deadly Dragon Fang attack aimed at him, there was no telling whether Jo(shu) would be able to escape that fate or not.

"See what I mean? I just exuuuuude confidence. Kukukukuku..." The dark version of Asuka raised it's chin as Asuka reeled from the lightning, letting out a pompous laugh. It was better than the original, so there was no need to keep the weak little girl who'd created it around to pester the creature further. It was just when it's confidence seemed to be brimming though that Corielisa's wind storm struck, and the creature let out an anguished scream of it's own as it was blown back by the damage. "Yoouuu...you really think you'll defeat me with some winds of change? Kukukukuku. " The monster spat to the side, before raising a tube of it's own from it's Summoner outfit, aiming the look-alike device at Corielisa. "No more interfering from you! Kukukukuku!" Suddenly a wave of demon repulsing energy swept through the room, and Corielisa burst into a spray of green as she was reduced back to energy, and the magnetite sent back to the tube of Asuka who'd summoned it. "You're scared, you're scared! You're going to get them all killed. Hee hee hee..." The demon laughed as it summoned up the large green axe again, leaping into the air. "Get out of my way!" The twisted version of Red turned pissed off eyes on the dragon in it's way, slamming the blade of the axe into the beastie's head as the energy rippled out and slammed against Red as well, a testament to it's insanity.

"Oh nooo, he sees me. I hope Kai's getting my good side. Hihihihihi..." The creature fell over again as the cyclone blasted him, letting out an unusually high whine as it imitated the 'wilting flower' pose once more. "Oh nooo...I think I might have a bruiiise. I hope they don't think less of me for it; a girl's face is their treasure, after all." Misunderstanding after misunderstanding was piling up, but the creature only became more thrilled as Yatsuda lost his cool. His dagger swung through the place where the creature's throat was, but just before blade met flesh it disappeared, reappearing on the far side of the room with an umbrella. "Hihihi...do you mind? We're trying to have a heart to heart." The monster lifted the umbrella, opening it and twirling the accessory a bit as power washed out and caused Pandemona to explode, it's power returning to Yatsuda's phone as quickly as he'd called on it before. After a few moments, Kai's voice appeared over the radios again. "Alright, I'm finished. All of you, hold on to your butts. ...except Yatsuda."
As Kai finished speaking the world around each member of the team seemed to bend, the fires from above and below meshing and melding, the engraved seals they were standing upon lifting and sinking, and by the time their senses had returned...each found themselves standing next to each other, the area they were in moments before exactly the same, and yet now each merged together. "There. I've managed to use an old skill I picked up from the Tsukigata to bring you all together. If you fight as a team, you're going to have a much better chance of defeating those monsters." The realm each of them stood in was a fiend's battleground, and each was identical, making the merging easier. They were faced with a completely new difficulty now though, since although they'd been brought together to fight side by side, their look-alikes were now together too. On any side of them stood a dangerous monster, and none of them wanted that side of themselves to be shown off in front of their allies. But hell, those were the breaks. Which, you know, may have been totally intentional.
"One last thing, while I'm bailing your asses out of the fire; I see two of you just got yourselves into a jam without your demons. Remember that as a Summoner, you can keep your Demons from all harm if you hide them. When you hide a Demon, it won't be able to attack, but it can be useful if you think the Big One is coming. A hidden Demon can avoid damage, spells, and even status ailments, though they will still be damaged by effects they already have. Think of it as a step up from Guard-ing, which if you think a big attack is coming, you might want to do too." While he was probably babying the kids a bit much, Kai did try to remind himself that their lives were on the line, and that technically they weren't suppose to be on this mission with Geirin right now. While he could probably think of a few choice words to ease Kyouji's parting with her young apprentices, he'd feel a lot better if they just stepped up to the plate instead, so he could spare a tip or two for them to see if they were really cut out for this sort of thing. The spell was also taught to their close confidant, Geirin Kuzunoha; its ability bends space and time, allowing the user to trap a target (or targets) inside an illusory world. The world can be easily dispelled by the user, or by defeating the Demon Bug controlling the illusion.

Jo(shu)'s golden eyes widened as his doppelganger dissappeared, before hearing it laughing behind him. He took a gash from the potentially deadly hit, but managed to avoid getting slammed any further by it. He swung his dagger around at this, aiming it at his clone's ******** off." he snapped, before gale force winds started to emerge from his blades.
"Maelstrom!" he called out, as the worlds were merging together. He noted the addition of everyone else's doppelgangers, and though he wanted to focus all of his strength on his own, seeing red stunned on the ground made him cringe. As such, the Trio of Gale force winds moved right down the line.
First to Asuka's, then to Red's, and finally one slammed into his own doppelganger, the previous spell having paved the way, and his energy adding a bit more oompth to the assault. Quote: Jo(shu): Maelstrom - Three gusts of Severe Wind Damage released from the palms of the hand upon three selected targets. May use as many as 2 on a single target. [One to Red's Shadow, Asuka's Shadow, and Jo(shu)'s Shadow) [+Medium Wind damage to all] - Add Medium Wind Damage to all attacks (Absorb Wind) - Restore a bit of MP every turn. - Mastery of the weapon type [Daggers].

 Red Red flinched as his doppelganger giggled, talking about he was going to get his friends all killed. He'd just met them, he couldn't...
A thought quickly silenced, as he was knocked to the ground, feeling his whole body overcome with pain.
"C..Can't....M...move." he groaned, before noticing the worlds around them shifting. In a matter of moments, what was one enemy became four...and what was once his lonesome, was.now surrounded by the ones he'd entered the shrine with.
No...I can't.. he thought, trying to force himself up as his gloves started to glow with power. I...I can't let them....see me like this.. Have to....get...up...Pendragon hissed loudly, unable to move himself as the shadow slammed at him with the axe. It wanted to get up for it's master...but...

 "Corielisa!" Asuka called, watching her companion being forcibly dismissed, her dismayed expression quickly turned to one of anger, "You'll pay for that..." She got back to her feet and unsheathed both of her blades, she was about to attack before the world warped around her, and Kai's voice came over the radio again.
Seeing her other allies now in the same reality, their counterparts, too.
"Wind! She's weak to wind! She called to the others, not bothering with pleasantries.
"While there may be truth in your words... There is no way one such as you could be the same as me, and I'll show you exactly why!!" She moved in on her shadow focusing her Magnetite into the Renki Dama, unleashing a flurry of fast slashed from both blades which flew in all directions, striking the other shadows as well as her own. As Pandemona was dissipated, Yatsuda was sorely pissed off, and had gripped the collar of his outfit tightly. But before he could do what he was going to do, the area around him warped to show the others, and clones of themselves. As he had realized that it wasn't just him that was dealing with it, he calmed down slightly, and let go of his collar. But then, he pulled out a gun from his pocket and pointed it towards his own shadow. "If you wish to have a heart to heart, then allow me to take yours then." With that, Yatsuda pulled the trigger, and instead of a bullet coming out of the barrel, colorful streams of confetti came out instead. Gold eyes rolled back into the creature's head as it was blown to the edge of the platform by the Maelstrom, barely keeping it's grip on the sword in it's hand. Long green crescent blades slashed along it's back as it was down from Asuka's flurry, tearing the uniform and leaving wounds across it's body; her attack had clearly been more powerful while it was stunned from having it's weakness exploited, and it looked much more ragged than the rest. Fingers trembled as it slowly pushed against the ground with it's knuckles, rising to it's knees, shaking...laughing. "Ufufufu...keep hiding from the truth. Keep trying to become stronger, so you can bury those feelings...that's how we are, too lazy to even face our own feelings! Ufufufufufufu!" The moppy head obscuring it's eyes lifted, golden eyes narrowing on Jo(shu) again as it's entire body shook from the soul-piercing laughter it uttered, arms spread wide. It's power was increasing again, only this time it's visage shifted with it as it's body changed and it slowly came to resemble the demon Sif, or at least the man who'd drawn on Sif's powers. "Keep getting stronger...and I will to! Screw those interfering Kuzunoha! Ufufufufufufufu!" It's sword swung forward, and wind gathered around the blade before funneling outwards into Maelstroms that blasted towards the team, unleashing torrential power that would pierce their bodies with horrendous force. It had intended to strike Jo(shu), but...well, that idea had been interrupted due to the strife between Yatsuda and his other self.

"A-aaagggh!" The Shadow screamed as the wind struck it's body, battering away at it and weakening the creature significantly. It's eyes narrowed at Asuka through the torrent of Jo(shu)'s attack, but it couldn't move as Asuka began slicing and dicing around her, her arm and blade moving too fast for anyone to see anything except the blur of green blades that came shooting outwards like a whip at the monsters. Knicks and cuts caught it's arms, it's legs, and it did it's best to cover it's body, but weakened from the wind as it was, when one last slash came in the Shadow's arm was too late to put it's blade in the way; and a splash of blood poured out on the ground nearby as it's limb went rolling to the side helplessly. "...Ku...kuku...kukukuku..." An uneasy laugh emerged from the creature as it'd body shook and it gripped at it's blade with it's remaining hand, fingers squeezing tighter and tighter until blood dripped down the hilt and ran along the silvery weapon. "Kukukukukukukukukukukukukukuku...you BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITCH!" The monster sprinted forward, raising it's sword above it's head as it lashed out in a frenzy, wildly losing it's cool as Asuka drove it back powerfully for the first time. As the creature neared it disappeared, reappearing to the side, letting out another crazed laugh before disappearing again, and popping up elsewhere...taunting the girl, looking for an opening, attempting to disorient the entire team as enemies seemed to crop up out of the blue and vanish like the wind the next second. Finally there was a wind on the back of Asuka's neck, like a cold breath...the ability of Summoners to sense the supernatural likely coming in useful as it finally appeared off to her right with the sword it had waved about in a frenzy above her head. Magnetite gathered around the sword, lengthening it and turning it a glowing ethereal green as it pointed the spear towards the girl, leaping at her like a wild animal as it stabbed forward again and again, timing it's assault with Jo(shu)'s shadow in an attempt to crush her once and for all. This attack was different before, stronger and riskier, but the creature had clearly lost it's composure due to the girl it considered an inferior form of her, and was willing to risk itself to put her down once and for all. "...I'm so scared....hehehe...l-look...I'm trembling..." The creature slowly stalked over to Red, it's whole body rattling as it locked eyes with the downed Summoner. Magnetite gathered along it's sword, and it placed the edge of the axe against Red's neck, measuring out the swing for it's final blow. The edge caught Red's skin, a bubble of blood forming as it pulled the weapon back in order to avoid finishing it's pray due to a slip of it's shaky hand, it's other hand wrapping around the first as it attempted to stop it's shaking. "This is...it...I will become the real one. Hee hee hee...I'm...I'm just so scared, of facing the responsibilities. I don't want to fight Demons either...hee hee hee..." The creature raised the axe, it's eyes widening as it stared into Red's, echoing words it expected him to understand. There was a moment of hesitation, like it might have seen something in the Summoner then...but then it snapped, letting out a wild shout as wide eyes turned frightened and it swung the axe, only to be blasted backwards by Jo(shu)'s attack.
"Aaah...aaaaggggh! Why, why, why why why damn it! I don't want to confront any of you!" The shadow twisted back and forth, leaning this way and that as it drug fingers against it's skin and cringed at the whole affair, letting out a pained laugh as if it were suffering as much as they were. "Just go away damn it...go AWAY!" As quickly as the demon shouted it, it was leaping into the air again, slamming the enormous axe into the ground as a tidal wave of pure magnetite shot outwards and struck all the Summoners, threatening to knock them off their feet and leave them speechless just like Red was. It was so angry...it was surrounded by all these hot blooded Summoners, born from such a dishonest figure...it deserved better than all that! And it would take it by force if it had to!

"Acting tough?" The creature retorted, just before Yatsuda pulled the trigger. "Ooooh, looks like we misfired; it's not the first time our weapon hasn't worked properly though, right? It does only seem to work when there's someone bigger and manlier around to take care of us. Hihihi..." The creature swirled the umbrella again, grinning as it paced and circled Yatsuda slowly, humming as it did. "Oh, my my my...why can't we just come to terms with it? That no one can really understand me. I was born different, went through life differently...but everyone just misunderstands how I am! Even myself! All I wanted was to blend in, but everyone treats me like an orange in a world full of apples! Well ex-queeze me, but I'm not going to have anymore doubts! You want our heart? You never knew where to look, even when we were one and the same! But Iiii know, I'll just make a decision for us!" The creature took another step, and there was a sudden flutter of cherry blossoms as it disappeared. Suddenly the Shadow appeared in front of Jo(shu), letting out a small giggle at his 'manly' form. "Oh Sif, my shining knight! I'll be your princess; take me, I'm yooours!" Arms wrapped around Jo(shu), as the two came closer and their lips met! It was a tango, only for the two of them...and Yatsuda, who the creature glared at over the Summoner's shoulder, clearly intending to drive him even further off the deep end. From the beginning, Yatsuda's shadow had sown misunderstanding after misunderstanding, and it was clear that unlike the others it was taking a much subtler route to victory. "Will you protect me from that brute? I'll be yours, to have and to hold, if only you'll be my King Arthur? I'll be your Guinoverrreee~" The Shadow mused as it pulled back and looked deeply into Jo(shu)'s eyes...though since his answer was obvious, the next part was obvious too. "Hihihihi." Power gathered in the Shadow, before exploding outwards at the lot of them, a Megidoloan sweeping through the area and blowing back all the petty little humans who would interfere with the romance for the ages. "Hang in there you guys. I know I said it before, but all of these creatures are stronger than you. If you don't work as a team, it's possible you'll each be overpowered by your doppleganger. So get the lead out." Kai didn't have a lot of helpful hints this time, but by observing the fight he was able to comment in an attempt to help them survive, and from what he'd seen so far they weren't going to do that without stepping things up a peg. "Yatsuda! Snap out of it and help the others! Your Shadow doesn't seem as focused on you as the other's do, so you're assistance could definitely turn the tide for the others. Red, make sure not to let your demons get too weak...but you've got the power, just grow a pair and lay it on those monsters! Asuka, you've got a whole team of demons, feel free to employ them at ANY freakin' time. Takin' a back seat, summoning and healing the others might be a better way to help the team right now, but you're going to have to reign that temper in. And Jo(shu), I don't know what your new form's powers are like, but if you can heal or buff your teammates, it looks like you're all pretty ragged-" That was just about the time that Yatsuda's Shadow was making its move. Kai decided that whatever boiling rage he had involving the incompetence of one of the apprentices would better be left for later.
"There's a strong barrier around the area, so I'm not sure I can gain access to that room, but if things start looking any worse I'll try it no problem. You idiots may not be worth much, but Kyoji would have my a** if I let you flounder against something you couldn't defeat much longer. Fingers crossed though." Finally, he reluctantly spoke again, although he'd taken a few minutes to wonder inwardly if Kyoji really would care if a few of them died in the undertaking. The fact was that trying to break a demon's barrier was extremely dangerous work, but he did care that he'd put them in harm's way, and even though he'd never tell the insignificant little specks that he felt their lives were worth saving, he was willing to put his own on the line to do just that. Besides, he'd told them already that he was overpowered by his Shadow earlier, and if he still had to save them after all of that, then that really would make them pretty useless specks of dirt under his heel, wouldn't it? Surely they had enough pride to avoid being that useless. "And I should tell you, that the big guy still hasn't shown up yet. So if you don't get it together, then we might all be really screwed." Kai rattling off to finish. After all, if it was just evil versions of these apprentices he would have finished things in a jiffy the first time. There was something more dangerous still in this hall, and it was that creature they should have found frightening.

"Ugh!!" Asuka cried out, being hit with subsequent and powerful attacks, falling to a knee again, hearing Kai's advice once again she produced another tube from her belt and held it out, again summoning Alraune.
Immediately taking in the situation, he waved a hand, sending a healing wave over the summoners.
Having her wounds eased, Asuka stood up again, and held up her arms to reveal a literal spiral of wind circulating each of them, before thrusting her hands forward, sending a blast of wind toward her shadow. "Return to the abyss! Quote: Alraune: Mediarama [Heal all allies] Asuka: Wind blast [Medium wind damage]

Jo(shu) scowled as the figure snapped, remarking on how he'd keep hiding it back. How the more he denied it, the stronger it'd get...And how even if he got stronger, it would too.
"You want the truth?" he snapped, getting sick of it. "Fine! I am ******** tired of all this nonsense. If it wasn't for...."
A quip not finished, as he was...., suddenly being macked on by Yatsuda's clone, who started flirting...and even kissing him! He shook his head, and went to push him away, before the blast of almighty energy, along with Red's Clone's attack. He was knocked away, and groaning..Though, in pain, or in annoyance, it was hard to say.
"Don't Let it....Ugh...." he groaned, trying to fight his way up. It was annoying that he was now the one on his a**, but the way his clone had reacted, and copied his every move....

Red Red winced as the doppelgangers laid into assault after assault..He watched the others fight bravely....Jo(shu) having done some kind of power to fight on his own, like a demon....Miss Kuzunoha fighting with the item she got from Kai...And Yatsuda tried to use some kind of gun...
I can't...let everyone down. he thought, being blasted with Almighty Energy as his doppelganger let out another burst of energy, and Yatsuda's did as well....He got back on his feet, panting.
"Pen...Pendragon...return." he called, flicking one tube to get rid of the battered demon. "Lamia..Come forth!"
He held out his tube, and the Snake-like woman slid out of the magnetite, raising her arms."My my..quite the entourage you have here.."Red stood focused at this, and gestured.
"Fire!" he snapped, the demon quickly obeying with a Maragion spell, to see if the flames would be able to handle it. However, amidst the flames, he jumped at his own doppelganger.
"Stop it!" he snapped, reeling back his fist for a punch. "Just because I'm scared....Doesn't mean I'm.....I'm unwilling to fight!"
He slung his fist forward, as it glew with a slight power. He Was scared....He was scared out of his mind...But when hadn't he been? It wasn't helping the others for him to be scared as he was now.....No...
I told them I was going to watch their backs. he thought, glancing at Shu on the ground because of his doppelganger's move. . And I....I never go back on my word! With the assaults of wind from Asuka as well as the attack from his own shadow, Yatsuda was quickly pissed off at the tactic his shadow had done this time. Immedately, he had dashed towards his shadow, and wend to stab his shadow. But, as he was about to stab his shadow, his armor began to glow and flames began to shoot up around him, scorching everyone nearby him. "Get STUFFED b***h! Ufufufu!" The blackened form of Sif let out a laugh as it's new powers allowed it to Drain Asuka's wind, restoring power to the creature. It let out a laugh as it's power began to come back, even seeming to shrug off the fiery blow that Red sent it's way soon after. That was when the wildly erratic Yatsuda came barreling in, letting out an explosion of energy on everyone in the area. The creature skidded backwards and let out a viceral growl as it quickly rolled to the side to recover, laughing once again, but with a look on it's face that teased at the well of anger under it's skin. They had battered it early on, but with it's new form and the wind it had drained it'd come back from the edge...but now it was on the ropes all over again. "Top hat...don't interfere!" The creature whipped it's gun to the side, bullet casing clattering against the ground as it shoved a new set of rounds into the chamber. As it turned the gun on Yatsuda, a sense of dread washed over the Summoner, both natural...and the unnatural grip of death. "Do not come between the Jo(shu) and his prey!" The creature squeezed the trigger, pelting Yatsuda with round after round in the hopes that one would tear through a lung or his bloody, gushing heart and end the Summoner for good.

The creature stood before Asuka, arms hanging limp as it's fingers shook, barely keeping the sword in it's grasp by the very tips. It stared the girl down with the same, empty look that it had shared when she entered, golden eyes staring widely while her teeth shown in an unsettling grin. "Ku...kukukuku..." The laugh was unsettling, but all the more so due to the silence that proceeded it, which it finally banished. "I wish you...the best of luck. Kukukuku..." The creature's head swung back suddenly as a burst of green energy emerged from it, it's body tearing apart and disintegrating into Magnetite before some of it floated away and dissipated, while the rest was drawn to Asuka and absorbed, a Summoner's natural ability to restore their magic by beating on their foes or outright defeating them entirely. "Aaaagh...ah...wuuuuuuuuaaaaaa-" As fire washed over Red's doppleganger, the creature began to shriek uncontrollably, stop, dropping and rolling in an attempt to use the oldest and truest of methods to deal with the attack that Lamia had unleashed. That was when a follow up from Yatsuda's berserking came however, and the explosion rocked the entire room, creatures and people alike, but none made it more obviosu than the weak-willed Red as it's clothes burned away and it clawed here or there in an attempt to get rid of the fire. The rancid smell of burnt flesh filled the room, permeating the air and gagging everyone...and yet the creature slowly got back up to it's feet, hands on it's head, shirt and hat gone, desperately clinging to it's sense of self. "...hee...hee hee...hee ha ha ha ha! I'm sorry." Suddenly the form of Red began to fade away as if someone were wiping over the eyes of the Summoners, until it had vanished. And just as quickly the creature appeared on the edge of the battlefield, back to Red, dashing towards the rocks. "Sorry sorry sorry sorry! All out of time! I'm out of here!" The creature chanted the one word over and over as it began crawling up the rocks to abandon the fight, leaving the real Red and all those little soul-sucking Summoners to their own inner-demons. In a second it would be gone, now Red had only to let things run their course and perhaps the battle would be easily won.

"Oh? Oooooooooh!" The moment was positively ruined as that boorish original came charging in, ignoring the doppleganger's romantic moment with the knight it now held in it's arms! "You'll protect me, won't you my knight? Just like the old days, when we gave ourselves over to the strongest man, and he protected us from -aaaahhhh!" The creature turned, holding Jo(shu) in front of it as Yatsuda and Red both unleashed powerful bursts of fire on the creature and it's compatriots, but as the fire caught it a high pitched scream emerged from the monster. By the time the flames were done lapping at Jo(shu) and by extension the figure identical to Yatsuda, it's strength had left it, falling to the side once again. It's breathing was heavy, and it glanced over at Jo(shu) laying next to it, a couple for the ages. "Was it...*huff* as good...*huff* as it was for...nnggh-aaaah!" The shadow raised it's hand to it's shoulder, placing it delicately on burnt skin peeping through a hole in it's clothing. Unlike before, this combination of attacks had clearly taken their toll, and it couldn't quite show the same lazy face it had before. "Talk about a double whammy...hmhm, but, it's not like the first time we've really taken a pounding. Isn't that right..." Jo(shu)'s strength was returning, and Yatsuda would definitely be on his toes and ready to attack again; the creature knew it, and it's fingers moved behind it, pulling out it's sword as it swung the weapon above it's head, forming an enormous axe out of energy as it attempted to lop it's duplicate's head off. "...mmmeee!?" Quote: Shadow Yatsuda resists; lightning, wind.

The team radios buzzed again as each Shadow unleashed it's attack, the intense battle finally taking it's toll. On the other hand, Asuka's shadow had met it's end, and that would mean a breather for the Summoners who remained on their feet. "Excellent work Asuka, but don't get full of yourself; it looks like Jo(shu) could use a serious breather. I'm about a third of the way done, so if you guys can't beat these monsters, just hold them off a little longer." He didn't want to say so, but there was more than enough time for the fight to end, and it could still swing either way at this point. In that case it was better to give them a bit of hope, instead of reminding them that their asses were on the line and there was no getting off. "Hn? !! Look out, it looks like those three are preparing something." The advise wasn't exactly insightful, but as their power began to ebb and grow like crazy a wave of electricity would bounce through each of the summoner's systems, a warning of just how powerful their remaining foes were. It was a blessing a Summoner had to know when his opponent was just that deadly, but if one was arrogant, or ignored the signs, it could just as easily become a curse; one they'd know until they wound up in an early grave.

Jo(shu) cringed, as his doppelganger screamed out, still in it's form as it fired at Yatsuda. It seemed that one of the other clones had vanished, and another was running. It was...perplexing, though...
And the flames and earth from Yatsuda's attack burned at his body, and assaulted him more, further adding to the damage he had been taking.
Not really...at top form. he thought, before the Sif-Form dispelled from his body, leaving him back in his normal form. He was still confused, though as he heard the warning from Kai, he threw his hands up defensively.

Red Red heard the doppelgangers react to the strikes, hearing a loud explosion, and surges of flame that burned at his skin. He suppressed his cries of pain from it, before hearing his own doppelganger downright WAIL at the strikes..Before it started to..run away?. He went to move after it, before he was stunned, yet again.
"D..Dammit...Move.." he called, his body locking up again. His doppelganger was getting away....But he couldn't catch him like this..
And with the warning of Kai's, he winced.
This is...this is gonna suck..
His demon moved at this, slithering out in front of her Summoner, and raising her hands. She couldn't leave her summoner vulnerable like that with the foes...And though he didn't direct her to do anything else, she whipped out another burst of flames at the doppelganger, the flamboyant one, and the one with the blades. It was her duty to fight on behalf of her master, even if he was....temporarily incapacitated.

Asuka nodded once again to her mentor's voice over the radio, before they were all hit with a powerful attack from Yatsuda's shadow, feeling her body battered once again, she resisted the urge to yell out this time. Of course, so did her demon, though he was never much of a talker. "Alraune, I'll cover you!" With a wave of her hand, her demon had become ethereal. It was still there, but not physically.
She then looked over to her comrade, Red, who was rendered unable to move. She quickly darted in front of him and held her sword up in a defensive stance. She was going to protect him with her own body. "Don't worry, Red. You'll be okay. I promise." Quote: Asuka: Hide demon: Alraune can not be attacked. Defend: Cover: Asuka will take the damage for Red.

As Yatsuda had realized that the flames had scorched not only his enemies but his allies as well, he sighed, before the shadow of Jo(shu)-san had pointed the gun towards him. He felt dread washing over him, but the shot from it did not lead with the feelings that what it had gave. With his shadow making more and more quips that tried to anger him along with the quake his attack did, the notification over the radio that the shadows were preparing something. Immediately, Yatsuda went defensive, guarding on whatever may come next. He suspected it may involve the shadow of Red that had just ran away, but if he needed to chase after it, he would after making sure his allies were alright.
