Being curled up against Orah's chest was pretty much the best thing in the world, and the only way it could've been better was if the Mauvian could have laid up against everyone's chest all at the same time. Still, she was only one, very small cat. She purred easily and all but melted against the girl, though she looked back and forth between the other two people there.
The boy had spoken to her even before she had been scooped up, so that was who the cream-colored cat focused on first. Horatio peered at Arian curiously, her teal eyes moving from his hair to his face and resting there before narrowing to look at his chest. Yes, super familiar and... then she had it. "You're the one with shinies in your hair! Not right now, obviously, but Athene, right? Hi! You want a hug too? I can give all the hugs!"
Yet, of the three there... it was the one who was least excited about seeing her that called out to Horatio the most. The blonde girl (Paris) that introduced herself as Ganymede had a more peculiar energy... and the Guardian was immediately reminded of what Tallulah had suggested. That maybe, just maybe, the two of them were more connected as Jovians, in a way that neither of them could remember. She decided not to mention it now because she didn't want to make any of her friends jealous and besides, she was getting some grade A cuddles here! "Of course I recognize you, silly! From there and from that time, with the really, really big loser and the wire? The one who talked funny? If I try hard enough, I can conjure up the name of pretty much any winner...although some are more difficult than others. You cold? Should give me a hug - that'll warm you up!"

Penelope waved to Holi and called back, "Thanks! We'll get it all taken care of!" The poor girl looked stressed from hosting the get together, but the black-haired girl was very glad that Holi had decided to do so. It was always nice to get together for a pleasant reason. Suddenly, a bob-tail cat (Liryn) was there along with a boy (Jaeger). She graced them both with a genuinely warm smile and swept an arm towards the table where the other snacks had been laid down. They did not have to worry long, though, because Chris approached her and pulled her into a hug. She returned his affectionate gesture before letting him go so he cuold take the cookies.
"I was going to ask if anyone needed help but... it seems Chris, Keren, and Holi have beat me to it! I'm Penelope, Penelope Seneca - or Sailor Pasiphae, if you ever see me in uniform. It's so nice to meet you."

Alejandro was not surprised at the amount of strength that came from Sailor Iris's hand after she began to speak. She sounded like somebody that knew what was what. The way she wrangled the small cat--********* him of how his Mama juggled him and his brothers and he couldn't help but laugh. The laugh quickly dissolved into a scowl at the question about his hair and he huffed, "No, it's natural. Unforunately. My abuela says that I got it from her... but I wish I hadn't. My uniform's got pink too - pink and yellow and I summon this pink flower. It's not fair! I already don't like pink, and have so much pink, and now all my super powers are pink too? How come it's got to be so... girly." He looked up to her in exasperation, as though this cosmic conspiracy of pink was weighing heavily on his mind.
He crunched another handful of Cocoa Puffs to get himself in a better mood, and he held up the box, "You want some?"

Zia's lips only pursed and her eyes rolled upwards as there was a brief debate on whether or not she should be drinking. She picked up a glass, but it seemed to have something of an effect because in spite of rotating it in her fingers as she nervously listened to Finn talk about confronting his friend, she didn't actually take a sip.
"You mean Avalon, right?" She mumbled, and suddenly started pining for the urge to rewind a few days so she could make some sort of preemptive 'don't get your dumb face cut up' advice instead of simply responding to his anguish with 'that's rough, buddy.'
"Okay, pie," Noah huffed, setting the boxes on the table and already winded. He had apparently come from another long work day and was already heaving his shoulders and huffing and puffing under his winter jacket as he set the baked goods out on the apparently designated table.
He surveyed the area a bit. The easiest familiar face for him to spot was Iris, but he knew Holi was somewhere in the mix too.
Unfortunately he spotted Zia first and let out a groan, which intensified to an overdramatic ugggggh when he saw the wine in her hands.
"Okay, no, stop, if you tear your stitches again I'm going to cram your hospital bill down your throat until you choke," He said, tugging the wine away without much resistance. Zia seemed to be in a daze with her mind on other thoughts anyway and she clearly didn't care about her rebellious glass of untouched alcohol.
"Ho-kay," She said with a sigh, sluggishly getting up and tugging on his jacket sleeve towards her car.
Noah seemed a little shocked. "I-... um... wait." He wasn't going to make her leave, she was already there. She could've just sat in a chair and not gotten sloshed and he would've been fine. But now that he felt like an awkward party crasher, especially with melodrama she was exhibiting, he felt heat rise to his cheeks and decided he would mitigate embarrassment by shuffling out of there as quickly as possible.

Jae gave Chris a small smile, all too happy to hand the box of gingerbread man cookies he had brought with him over into the other's outstretched hand before he volunteered his name and powered identity as well since everyone around him seemed to be doing so. "Jae is Jaeger Reed. Sailor Mizar."
They all seemed like really nice people and that in turn made him glad to be here among them though he was relatively new in comparison and knew next to no one other than the spirited guardian kitty Liryn whom he had come with and was at the same time responsible for his awakening in the first place. "Jae's happy he got to meet all of you here today with his kitty friend." He gestured towards Liryn then crouched down to see if the bobtail tabby would like to be picked up so that he could introduce himself to the others proper.

Keren glanced around, shocked to find herself suddenly the center of attention. "Food can go on the table," she said distractedly, "Just wherever there's room. Gifts go down at the far end, by - do you see the fish bowl? They go there." She smiled at the Chris as he returned. "Thanks," she said.
"So, we'll get the gift exchange started in a minute or two?" she suggested. "I mean, it seems like we've got enough people now." It was starting to look downright crowded! Keren tried to get a grip on feeling overwhelmed by the sudden crowd, offering a smile to Jaeger and Liryn as well. Right. Talking cats. She knew all about these. She could totally handle talking cats.
"Megiddo Page of Saturn," she said. "Nice to meet you - Jae? Jaeger? Which do you prefer?"
It's gift exchange time! ICly, you will draw a number from the fishbowl the corresponds with a gift. OOC, you'll generate a number between 1 and 15. Arian nodded as Orah scooped Horatio up "We met at one of Maia's training sessions" he said and then nodded again in agreement with Horatio's words. "And yes I'm Athene, well at least powered up I am - I'm called Arian when I'm like this though."
He'd been about to answer Horatio's question about a hug, but it seemed like gift drawing time for the secret santa that had been organised as part of the evening had come around. "Did you guys contribute?" he asked Paris and Orah curiously as he waited to take his turn at drawing a number from the fishbowl, an amused smile flitting across his face when it turned out his number corresponded to pair of colourful striped wool socks.
He made a mental note to try and find out who the gift giver had been so he could thank them before showing his gift to Paris, Orah and Horatio. "They look warm" he said, his quiet voice amused.
Remembering Horatio's question he looked over to the guardian cat and added "And in answer to your earlier question, I'd be happy to have a hug.", but would you like something to eat from the table first?" There were enough treats around that Arian was pretty sure that he'd be able to find something for the cream furred cat if he looked around enough.

As Jae and he had got closer, Liryn realised that there were more people by the purple haired girl then he'd he'd realised. A near by young man had introduced himself as Chris and he knew from the purple haired girl and the black haired girl by her that they were Keren and Penelope and also a page and a senshi respectively. There was also a blue haired girl who had also mentioned where the food went, although he hadn't caught a name.
Jae had already sort of made introductions and so he looked from one to the other as best he could from his position on the ground before cheerfully saying "I'm called Liryn, nice to meet you all."
He was only a little cat though and there seemed to be so many interesting things above ground level and so when Jae crounched down, Liryn was happy to take the up other's offer of being picked up so he could have a proper look around. After all there was time enough to nose around later.
So sorry to take forever with this guys

Orah watched as her friend opened his present and when he offered a hug to Horatio, she gladly handed off her warm burden to him. After a rub to the soft ears, she went to pick her present as well, opening the box to find a soft tan cowl inside. Delighted, she pulled it over her head to rest around her neck, draped nicely over her winter coat.
"Oh, this is nice!" She said happily. It even worked well with her coloring, and the green coat she wore. "It'll be really useful this winter too." Orah laughed before she went to the table to grab a bit of food to eat as she stood around chatting with her friends.
This was a good night and she was pleased to be a part of it.
