All kinds of exciting things were happening. Trisha had gotten a really good look at the snow earlier and decided that warmer gear was necessary in her ventures outside, including an oversized warm coat and booties that ended just above her hooves. But some smells lured her down the hall and to this particular class. where they baking? The teacher was... was she a cookie? Mmmm... Normally she was not one to eat anything that looked too animated, though a good many of her species enjoyed raw minis, but in this case, she was seeing the allure. Gaint cookie. But it seemed that she was part of the exchange. Who knew, she could be poisonous. (Besides, it would be bad manners to eat the teacher, no matter how tempting.) It seemed that they would be baking. Trisha signed up and roamed in. She didn't see anybody she knew yet, so she just found a good place in the middle and looked around at all the other students with a small smile on her face. Maybe she could make friends with them over baking, not that she was very experienced. The monster horse wasn't nervous about the class, not really. He never made his inability to bake things properly (bread notwithstanding) a secret so having his fellow students discover his failure didn't really bother him. He prided himself in other matters but baking? Was not one of them.
If he'd been his old, freshly enrolled self, he would quietly not bother anyone in the room until they sought him out. But after everything he'd gone through ever since enrollment in this school, the horse monster had learned life was too short to wait for things to happen to you. (Because when they did it was never anything good.) Which was why he turned to the ghoul sitting beside him and quietly asked, "Y' ever seen Joy things before?"

If the Lotus Eater wasn't so used to neutrality, she may have actually looked annoyed by all this festivity. However, baking was one of her absolute favourite activities, and she had no idea how to make gingerbread spookies as far as she knew. Well, she could probably learn, but why not have someone teach her?
Besides, she needed the classes thing, and she should probably stop focusing every waking moment on Aegis.
Bells ringing, not an ounce of Christmas cheer anywhere on her person, she walked slowly towards someone she recognized: Piper, who she'd seen on occasion. "Would you say you are a predator, or prey?" Amarus asked her, quietly, tilting her head. She clasped her hands together. Without blinking her mirror-silver eyes, she realized she had accidentally quoted a very disturbing moment from her past memory. Sort-of-memory. "What I meant by that is: are you here because you enjoy baking, or perhaps because you enjoy eating baking?" she asked Piper, gesturing vaguely towards the space where she thought she'd glimpsed Muka as she said eating baking.Quote: SIGN UP SHEET Ulmuka Knobwalker Catinka Kyrkan Lihua Mathias Helmut Purge Monty Tavi Puella Levi West Jove Alamea Sophie Van Rotte Vanya San Gabriel Efflo Alecto TK Piper Blacke Amarus

Jgyh . . . what the hell does that mean? He is always confused by him since Tavi has his own language that he has no idea what he means, but the easiest way to get away is just smiling and nodding at him. Despite that, San is happy to see Tavi again for it's been far too long since Tavi is busy with his school work while he's at his home instead.
The demon was concerned for the petite girl in seeing how much she has to lean her head back just to see him. And then she spoke . . . . oh no . . . "She's just like Tavi . . ." There was no way there would be another Tavi out there, but Mea (which he miraculously caught) was talking and talking to him and she just reminded him of the kitsune. ". . . hello." That's all he managed to say to Mea as he took his seat to be at a lower eye level so she won't strain her neck for the rest of the class. The chair, though, was highly uncomfortable. He fears that it won't support him and it will break! Silently, he glanced over to Tavi as he spoke in fascination to hear that their teacher is actually a spookie. "How is that possible?" The demon thought to himself. In a way, it sounded like a mess up class of having a spookie teacher teaching them how to make her kind and eating them later.
He was pulled out of his thoughts when he felt a bump from Tavi that did made him jumped a bit. San was new as well, very new, he's not a student as he lifts up his visiting student pass for Mea to see. "I . . . might attend, maybe . . ." San muttered under his breath. He glanced around the classroom in seeing the other students who has gathered around as he took a mental note of them. There was a firefox who was staring at them for a while which he assumed it must be a friend of Tavi and then a demon sat next to him. His fiery hues caught the fire ball swirled between the horns in an almost daze. It was comforting in a way to have a bit of fire to warm their group up from the cold . . . although unknown to him, someone is feeling highly uncomfortable as he saw the demon adjusting himself in his seat and his foot hitting something.

"Not before they showed up." she turned to the voice speaking to her and then stopped face turning slightly more red for just a second. A very nice looking bull... no stallion happened to be in the next seat. "They are interesting though." she took a flower from one of the wreathes on her horns and started to nibble on it. Was this entire school full of good looking bulls? She certainly hoped so. "Have you?" it seemed like he might have been one of the older students. Was this cultural exchange comon?

“Sooooft,” Alecto murmured quietly as she continued to shamelessly run her claws through Vanya’s wings, but at least the monster ghoul had no qualms about it. Large ears perked up at the greeting. “Hihi!” she replied, tail whipping excitedly. “Yesyes, we haven’t metmet.” She nodded her head to emphasize her answer. “I’m Alecto!” A hand pointed to her head. “And MegMeg and TisiTisi!” Her head lolled to the side as the excitement ebbed away. “Just call us Megaera and Tisiphone respectively,” Megaera corrected. “As long as I’m here, we’ll be just fine.”
Megaera remained slightly as she scrutinized Vanya’s expression before retreating back into Alecto’s consciousness. “No problem! It’ll turnturn out tasty nono matter what.”

Her feathers ruffled a little and she let out a sound that was a cross between a mew and a chirp. Clearing her throat, she smoothed her hair and was part way through a smile when the ghoul was introducing herself. The smile fell and she blinked as more than one name was given. A brow was raised and her head tilted to the side. Uh.. She gave a little shrug - it would be rude to question it.
"I'll take your word for it.. MegMeg," she replied with a smirk. Perhaps the girl's odd personality would be fun, after all. At the return of Alecto, she smiled. "Can you cook?" Having a friend who could cook would certainly be handy.

The tikbalang nodded in response, "Y' get something Joy-related practic'ly every year'v y're in Amityville." He didn't want to frighten the ghoul with all the things he'd gone through, trees coming to life and attacking students, items of food infused with Joy trying to devour students, among other things.
But at the same time, he thought it was best she was at least somewhat prepared, "It ain't exactly all that joyful really." His voice wasn't grave, nor was it threatening, just matter-of-fact and maybe a little bit resigned. While he had wanted to warn, he didn't want to put her off of the experience entirely. It was part and parcel of being a student in Amityville Academy, after all. Better she learn it sooner than later.
"'M Petro," he introduced, offering a hand to the ghoul.

Every year? Well that made sense as Amity was where Jack lived, but not joyful? She was a bit disappointed to say the least. She was curious about this joy thing, and the other world where they has snow and apparently living cookies. Still, she would make the best of it. "I'm Trisha." she took his hand in a firm shake. "I'm just a first year. What year are you in? What kind of other joy things have you seen?" She pried just a little. Quiet honestly she was hoping that this joy thing didn't turn into any of the wild stories her friend had told her about the school, but she knew he was fairly unreliable. What's the worst the land of joy could do?

Rosy was actually pretty curious about these joy classes more so then annoyed at them. She couldn't really stop looking around as she made her way tot he first class she decided to attend. She didn't really bake, but she figure she would give this a try. After all, a certain demon did like spookies didn't he? She might as well make him some.
Slipping into the class, she glance over her fellow classmates as she spots a few she knew. The few that made her smile were those she were apart of clubs with. She didn't float towards any, instead she just stays in the back of the class for the moment.
She join in a bit, she was merely watching for the time being.Quote: SIGN UP SHEET Ulmuka Knobwalker Catinka Kyrkan Lihua Mathias Helmut Purge Monty Tavi Puella Levi West Jove Alamea Sophie Van Rotte Vanya San Gabriel Efflo Alecto TK Piper Blacke Amarus Rosy

Ah, so the ghoul was a first year. That explained things to the tikbalang. His lips pulled into a small smile at the firm handshake, nodding in approval at her enthusiasm and confidence. The smile widened a bit as one of his square-root brows quirked in amusement from the flurry of questions.
"Good to meet y' Trisha. 'M in third year," he answered first, then proceeded to address the rest, "First Joy-time was a train visit to the land of Joy. We... fought trees 'n eggnog-drunk elves 'n jerk-inna-boxes," he still shuddered at the memory, "'N then there was last year with Joy-creatures invading the school. Pudding tried to eat us." Then he laughed softly, "Some'v us tried to eat it back." He gave her an encouraging pat on the shoulder, "Y' don't gotta worry, the older students 'n faculty'v got y' first years' backs."

“Hey!” Efflo yelped, turning on Gabby with a glare as his boilfriend’s hands shove him at an uncomfortable angle against the desk. Luckily Efflo was small, and he pulled his legs up, using his foot to push Gabby right back, effectively undoing all the work he’d just done as he pushed both desk and dragon away. “I even called you pretty,” he whined, doing his best to look positively wounded by Gabbt’s actions. He wasn’t entirely sure why anyone would want to be called pretty anyway, though he had to admit when it came to Gabby, it was true. The boil was pretty. And handsome. And, as Efflo caught the eye of an enthusiastically waving ghoul, Gabby was his. The glare he’d given Gabby was nothing compared to the look he sent her way. “Who’s that?” he asked Gabby, looking entirely suspicious. Prismatic Ferret I APOLOGIZE FOR GRUMPY PONY ;; HIII <3

A spine tingling sensation crept up Tavi's back and caused the kitsune to shudder, turning slightly in his seat he glanced around for the source of his discomfort but turned up empty-handed. Strange it felt like someone was-, a dark red ear twitched at the sound of approaching of feet and broke him from his paranoid thoughts. Smiling up to the balrog that entered the room Tavi's was just about to say hello to him but his attention was limited due to hearing San speak about being a guest, which meant he didn't bother to curl in his swaying tails.
"HE- OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUCH!" Tavi was near tears as he began a reply only to break off in a loud cry when the demon next to him stamped on his tails. "OFF OFF GET OFF!" Whining like a wounded puppy he turned and promptly tugged his wounded tails free. Stroking them tenderly he glared watery daggers at the boil next to him, expecting an apology.

Trisha gave him a wide eyed look, trying to discern if he were telling the truth or if it was a wild story. "Drunk elves?" what a weird place. "If it comes to pudding, I'm pretty sure I could eat it back pretty easily. I like pudding." "Oh I'm not too worried, not much bothers an apasu. When I come roaming by most things just get out of the way." Back home they always did anyways. Those who didn't were usually met with hooves or horns, mostly hooves, but she thought the gesture was sweet. "Not that I mind moving in groups. It's usually the best way to go."

Petro's face radiated nothing but sincerity, but if the ghoul wouldn't believe him, she'll find out for herself soon enough. "'M not so big on pudding, unless 's blood pudding. Dinuguan as we call it back home." When she mentioned apasu, the tikbalang titled his head and said "'M a tikbalang," thinking it only fair she knew what he was. Not that he knew what an apasu was to being with.
But his smile brightened and he nodded in agreement. "Safety in numbers, 's smart. And y've always got company."
