Weird, Maple definitely found this instructor weird; a guru of health and fun? The witch was beginning to doubt how well this class was actually beginning to go now, decisions were starting to get regretted.
Maple made a distressed face as she reached into the bag to pull out the list of words she would have to pick to compose the song. This wasn't exactly how she figured it was going to go either, and the types of words she had to pick seemed rather... bland. Mostly nouns and verbs from the looks of it. Defeated sigh, she frowned and began to write down what firstly came to mind for each of them. Urg, this was going to be terrible.

Amarus took a break from sabotaging the classroom so that she could greet Raleigh, who seemed to have just entered a bit ago. She motioned for him to come closer, with one hand. They had, indeed, been very busy-- in fact, she was a little annoyed by the timing of Christmas guest speakers, given she was very close to being finished her schooling for the semester and she really wanted to focus on Aegis.
"I think I sang something. Once," she said. She had, in fact, sang something a single time, back when the Heartless had invaded and she'd been turned into some kind of magical girl. The memory was a little fuzzy around the edges. Someone was missing from it, a patch, a misstep inside her mind. She filled in the lyrics with whatever words occurred to her.
Hel just stared at Lottie with a look that screamed murder. Also, Lottie’s demands were ridiculous, and Hel just about had it. Being discovered be damned. “Lottie, you can take that smoothie and shove it right up your as—“
Then the professor spoke over her, and it was for the best.
Hel let out an aggravated sigh and went back to finishing her…snow angel…
She then fished out a small bottle of Tabasco sauce she stole from the cafeteria and ‘sprinkled’ it around her work once she stood up. Her snow angel was finished. It was beautiful. Maybe she should just not be a ToTer and become an artist instead. Hmm, yes. So symbolic. It was a snow angel that lost its wings. Yes.
Thus, Hel missed half of that the professor was saying, but reached out when he came around and snagged a piece of paper. She also tucked away the Tabasco sauce she had into a pocket. She looked at the list, and then frowned. Words. Lovely. Alright then…Hel used her eyePhone for the really big words as she jotted them down on a piece of paper.

Now trying to ignore the ghoul completely, Mathias busied himself with filling in the words list that the instructor handed out. While the wolpertinger wasn't sure he had any skills in singing, he did enjoy word puzzles on occasion.
Which was fortunate, considering he might not have known what a noun, verb, or adjective even were otherwise.
1. adjective- Tough 2. verb - Fight 3. verb - Beat 4. noun - Gym 5. verb that rhymes with #7 - Punch 6. noun - Burrow 7. verb that rhymes with #5 - Crunch 8. vehicle - Slay? (he thought that this might count as a vehicle) 9. noun - Present 10. noun - Bell 11. noun - Snow 12. verb - Bite 13. noun - Boot 14. adjective - Strong 15. adjective - Vicious
What just happened? Andrew froze, (thankfully not literally) and gave the professor a wide eyed look as he piled yet more snow over his attempts to fix the horrors.
He didn't even respond, just stared in a lack of understanding. Why did he just put more snow inside the school? It was freezing cold in here! What was... oh... he took the list and looked at it.... and then realized what he had gotten himself into. Jack.
He mumbled to himself and took a seat, looking over the list. This was not good. Singing was not high on his list of things he did well.
1. adjective 2. verb 3. verb 4. noun 5. verb that rhymes with #7 6. noun 7. verb that rhymes with #5 8. vehicle 9. noun 10. noun 11. noun 12. verb 13. noun 14. adjective 15. adjective

Mayaa blinked, tilting her head as he spoke. "Guten tag? Is that food?" And then she laughed as he moved away, and she closed the space by shifting closer. "I like your accent, it's funny-sounding! And oh! I'm Mayaa!" She held out her hand, somewhat expecting a handshake, but then class seemed to start, and she retracted her hand (probably for the best if he were planning to bite it) and eyes widened as he explained what they were supposed to do.
"Fancy seeing you here, Amarus." Raleigh said with a chuckle as he hurried over to her side. He punched her arm lightlythen gave her a pat on the shoulder. "Enjoying the snow?" He asked as he noticed other students were enjoying it as well. He had never seen snow, but somehow felt at home with it. Raising an eyebrow when she said something about singing. "You can sing? I'm not much of a singer, but I'll try my hand at it." He added to her comment with a bit of sass to it. He wanted to be good at whatever he could be. Besides he was a bit prissy, or more so sassy at times.
Well there didn't seem to be any adverse side-effects to the hug on Ruth's part, no layer of frostbite, not even a desire to dance. It was somewhat disappointing for the reaper ghoul. But such was the way things went, it wasn't within her realm of control, and Ruth was flexible and bounced back easily. So with a decent amount of enthusiasm, she set off to work on the task their professor had assigned for them.
And suddenly, it was much warmer where Maple was sitting and her eyes shot up from her list as she turned to notice Andrew leaning over her. Instantly she squeaked and crumpled the paper in her hands and scooted it out of sight, especially from his prying eyes. "It's.. n-not... v-very g-good," she stammered in almost a whisper, leaning a little back from the boil (though, she kind of... liked him being around, he was like a furnace in this cold climate, it was rather nice. But, he was also still much too close).

On one hand it was a relief for the frost demon that she did not have to compose a song for the class...yet, but she hadn't had much experience writing lyrics for songs either. The ghoul waited nervously as the hat was being passed around, drawing a slip of paper not knowing what to expect.
The task given seemed surprisingly easy, and Edel tapped her pencil on the desk thoughtfully. Seeing how these were to replace some words from the original songs from the land of joy, it might be appropriate for her to put her own spin on it and choose lyrics that reflected the local Halloween culture. The mix of words didn't betray the kind of song it was, so the ghoul simply tried her best to have them of a similar theme as far as possible...
Lihua putted her hand in the hat and pulled out a list. She wasn't much of a singer, well her voice wasn't what you would call good. But she did like the idea of caroling.
She sat back down in her desk and got started on the song.
1. noun - bookcase 2. noun - Mermaid 3. noun Car 4. noun Bike 5. noun Dog 6. verb read 7. noun Skunk 8. noun Elephant 9. Desu-chan 10. sad 11. noun Ladybug 12. noun Camel 13. noun Italy 14. verb Kiss Extra word: Running
While putting words on paper had proved to be a distraction for at least a short amount of time, the ghouls grating questions had him cringing, his teeth clenching and his ears folding back along his head.
"Is expression meaning 'Good Day'." His annoyance was not masked in the slightest, his tone of voice suggesting he would rather not be asked stupid questions, thank you.
As for the accent. "Is not funny. You are funny, in looks and sounds." He glowered, though he still pretty much refused to actually look at her, so how he would know anything about her appearance was highly questionable.
Jove's happiness dissolved in an instant, there was no way he could sing! No, it was impossible! He definitely couldn't sing when there were so many students in the room! He sat down in the nearest available chair with a hopeless look on his face and glanced around for the exit, only to get right up again and book it over to where he spotted a familiar grumpy face.
He headbutted Mathias with enough nervous energy that even his fluff couldn't diffuse. He didn't even notice the ghoul nearby as he tried to appear small and tiny at his friend's side. Maybe by the time he had done this first task, with the writing and stuff, the teacher would forget about singing...
He covered his amused grin with another fist as he watched her pout childishly. “…” TK angled his head as he examined the ghost with a keen gaze. The memory of her holding her hands over her chest and bobbing away from him rewinded itself and played again in his head. Gears spun around in his skull, but he said nothing. He made his own conclusions to himself, and himself only. “If you insist,” he said, “though I can assure you that there are other parts of Halloween filled with snow as well.” He nodded in acknowledgement. “A pleasure to meet you, Miss Violet. I cannot say I have seen you around school before. Are you perhaps new?”
Another grin as she tried to herd him in a specific direction with only gestures, no touch. Unsurprising. “Of course. I would be more than happy to sit with you.” TK seated himself in a nearby chair and intently listened to the professor. Singing? That wasn’t exactly what he had been expecting. Blinking, he reached out for a slip of paper and stared at the list. “Huh. I wonder if the song will be any good like this,” he wondered, but filled it out anyways.
