Lance slid his hand into one of Ali's in attempt to calm his boyfriend down. "Oh? And how is that going for you?" He asked. "I admit... I've never played them."

Ali squeezed Lance's hand, and apparently it didn't actually work to dim his enthusiasm, because he was practically dragging his boyfriend to the apartment, humming cheerily the whole time.
Avacyn blinked slowly at Ali's odd behavior, but shrugged it off. "Well enough," she said. "It's, uh, most of my off hours." She coughed and flushed a little. "Aaanyway," she waved to Aaron, who opened the door and let them in.

Lance just snorted and released his boyfriend onto the apartment. "Is there anything we should know? The can and can't have or do." Lance asked, glancing from his spastic boyfriend to the land lord. "Sorry this was such short notice."

Alistair walked in, and he sighed happily. This place was much nicer than the other one - better colors, a soft carpet in the living room, and he could see where the hallway curved back to at least two bedrooms and a bathroom. Yes, this seemed far nicer - and it came at the recommendation of another member of the Court...
Avacyn sort of...stared at Alistair, eyebrows raised. "Is he okay?" She asked Lance.
Aaron just shrugged. "Don't make too big of a fuss and don't break the apartment? If you've got pets, make sure they get out regularly and don't let 'em be a nuisance."

Lance just chuckled. "Ooooh I know that noise. He loves it." The blonde snickered. "Makes sense. We're both fairly quiet anyway.. What's your take on painting the walls?" Well that was one part of the test passed.. Time for part two. "You alright there sweetheart?" Lance asked, catching his happily dazed boyfriend around the waist as he came back.

Alistair leaned back against Lance. "Just fine, love," he said, and then he laughed.
"Check with me before you do, but unless you've got awful taste in color, should be fine." The landlord said, shrugging. He didn't even really react to the two of them hugging, except for a raised eyebrow and then another shrug.
"So what do you guys think? I mean, I can tell what you think, Ali, but Lance?" Ava was hopeful. It would be great to have some neighbors she knew!

The blonde snorted, rolling his eyes at Ali. "Will do... Was just curious." If anything Ali would be picking colors. "I like it."

"I'll go get a sample contract," Aaron said, "so you can take a look. Rent's $1,730 a month, due on the 15th." He shuffled off.
Ava put her hands on her hips. "So, are we gonna be neighbors?" She asked, rather cheerily. The idea delighted her.
Also if she ever scared herself maybe they'd let her crash on their couch.
"That's not bad," Alistair said, looking rather pleased. "The rent, I mean. I can speak to my parents, if you're worried about the cost?" He turned to Ava. "I'd like to be, I think."

"We should be able to cover it just fine.. Though I'm sure your parents will want to hear about this anyway." He imagined the brunette's father would want to inspect this place from top to bottom. "It will be nice though, having someone we know around."

Ava lit up. "It'll be great!" She said, and she looked just as enthusiastic as Ali had. "We'll hang out all the time and we can patrol together and it'll be great!" In an overabundance of enthusiasm, she pulled both boys into a hug.
Alistair laughed, sliding an arm around Ava. "Ah, yes, I'm sure they will. And the Kents?" He asked. "I'm sure they'll want to know where you're staying."

"Sounds good to me." The blonde laughed. There was always safety in numbers. And if Lance wasn't there for whatever reason, at least Ali would have Avacyn around so he wouldn't be alone. "The Kent's should be fine with it." Lance smiled.

"The more the merrier, right?" And on top of all that, she could invite the boys over for gaming, and it was just going to be absolutely amazing. She was definitely glad they'd asked.
Aaron returned with the contract, offering it to Lance - the one he had the best access to, given the group hug. "Let me know if you guys are interested soon, okay? Haven't gotten many nibbles yet, but I can't keep it open forever." He turned around and walked off again.
Alistair smiled. "Excellent, then." He said, disentangling himself from the hug and holding out a hand for the contract. "We should probably run this by a lawyer, just to be safe, but I think this place should be perfect."

"Right." Lance took the contract, offering Aaron a thank and saying that they would let him know as soon as possible. "He's a cheery thing isn't he?" Lance mumbled as he passed the contract over to Alistair. "We can head over that way now if you want. Stop by your house and get your father cause I'm sure he'd want to go..."
