Well, this was escalating quickly. Lou watched quietly as Hel grabbed some schmuck by the collar and practically strangled information out of him, his eyes following where her finger pointed. "Aren't you guys tired? Don't you need to rest or something?" He was stalling. It was obvious because he didn't exactly care about anyone else's well-being. "Are we walking?" The boil reached into his moldy old bag and snagged a packet of blood with a straw.
The vampire laughed at Amphi's innocent assumption as he punctured the packet. "Well, do all monster's come from monster town down the street?" He asked as he took a sip of lukewarm blood. Not the highest quality, but he took what he got.

Hel just stared at Amphi, and she stared at her hard. There was a long moment of silence, which Lou, luckily, answered (which was a bit surprising as well). “Ya, what he said!” She jabbed a thumb at Lou. “I come from a country area with a gathering of valkyries and grims have settled, but there is not a town…and Mot comes from a city! Reapers come from everywhere!” Hel exclaimed, throwing her hands into the air, and may have also uttered something like ‘can not believe that got MVP’. “Ya, we are walking, and we are going right now!” Hel further exclaimed, and then took off in the direction of the town.

"Why? We just started!" Amphi was good, she could walk all day! "I can walk there too!" She frowned, "I'm a sea-monster and we all come from the sea. Don't all monster's come from Monster City or something?"
Hello, she didn't get much farther then amityville, thanks to being a mermaid.
She heard the Hel comment though, thanks to super mermaid hearing (dem fins on her head) and chuckled into her hand.
"It's one of those rare cases of Beauty before Brawn Hel." She lacedher hands together.....INNOCENTLY.

Lou had considered opening his mouth again, but...
Even he knew when his interference wasn't needed. Let the cat fight COMMENCE. It would certainly make their long walk much less dull.

Oh Amphi, you really shouldn’t be egging Hel on… At leas they were doing one thing productive…and that was walking to the town while doing this. Hel scowled, and shot Amphi a glare. “Where would this beauty be, Amphi? Because I do not see any in front of me, and incase you forgot, there were no tests about appearance in the House Cup!”

"It's me of course." She stared at Hel like she was silly, "Mermaids are the most beautiful creatures of the sea..." She explained, "Because we are meant to kill people with our song and looks! Draw them into the ocean and drown them and eat them. at least that's what they used to do."
She frowned.
"Well if it's not beauty then it must be brains!"

Hel just stared at Amphi, her lips pressed tightly into a firm line. Mentally, she looked like she was trying to count to nine to calm down, to not let a stupid silly little spat get the better of her. To not be petty, to be mature and responsible and just let it go…But she couldn’t. Hel still had some triggers, and this matter was of a very competitive nature that Hel just refused to let go of, but also because Amphi was really dogging on her right now. “Amphi, I would call you a c**t, but you are lacking warmth and depth.”

Hel just kept on staring. Her face had gone flat. “You touch me and I will rip both of your ******** arms off.” Her tone implied she meant every word of it.

She let her hands drop and looked sadly to the ground.
Like a kicked puppy.
"I thought we were friends..." Danny never got mad with her...

"I didn't give you any eggs though?" Amphi eyes started to fill, "I don't know why you'd think I'd egg you!"

The walk along the beaten path gave Lou more than a couple chuckles, and, at one moment, left the boil with a trickle of blood from his mouth after he spat up what he'd just swallowed at Hel's c**t comment.
It was the break of dawn when the trio saw their first signs of civilization again after a long walk through nothing. A stereotypical quiet town with the stereotypical greeting sign and a stereotypically low population. None of the houses along the first road were more than two stories (if that), and absolutely nothing could be described as extravagant or over-the-top, which was the exact opposite of what Lou had imagined.
Surely destiny could've thrown him a bone and made his past life as an apparent reaper something exciting. Not this little town full of little people bullshit.
Along with the miniscule houses, there was a town hall and shopping district right smack dab in the center. All of the storefronts were rather plain, but effective. You didn't have to guess where the cobbler or baker was. They were right there, spelled out plain as day.
Other creeple had just begun their daily toil, walking two and fro the points of interest. Though, a strange occurrence that continued on repeat were the stares the group received. Awkward, sometimes menacing stares accompanied with only silence and a walk on by.
"They sure did roll out the red carpet for us, didn't they?" Lou purposefully commented louder than normal. "So, what's the next big plan? It may be tiny, but there's still hundreds of people to sift through amongst this shitty place." The boil asked as he looked towards his companions. He didn't really intend to help with the thought process, even though his mind was full of suggestions on how to narrow down the search.

“You can not claim to be smart and better than me, and then start crying! Dry it up, you little cry baby!” Hel cried back at Amphi, and then let out an aggravated sound and then promptly ignored the mermaid the rest of the way to the town. Luckily that long walk through a whole lotta nothing helped to calm the reaper down, so for the most part she was pretty mellowed out once they arrived…sorta. She seemed at ease being in a reaper town…even if they were getting odd looks and silence…but then again, Hel would seem be at ease in a room full of Hunters as well…Hrm. The ghoul just made a small sound to indicate that she heard what Lou said, and then just mulled over what to do next in silence. It should have occurred to her that she couldn’t be taking charge, since this wasn’t her journey, but maybe she recognized that if she didn’t, then nothing would get done… Hel pointed at the dome of the town hall. “There.” She announced. “We should be able to look up names, ya?” Going on that little information adventure with Mot a while back helped her to come up with this idea. “When can try and look up your name, Gabriel.” This time she shot a look at Lou, her lips curling up a bit.

Amphi's tears stopped pretty abruptly after Hel said that, sniffling it all up and then crossing her arms. It was easy enough to ignore Hel too and the mermaid traveled in silence.
At the decision making time, Amphi had already forgotten the whole thing and went to go hold Hel's hand, swinging it between them.
"I've never been here! Reapers are so diverse!" I mean compare...Thana, False, Roch, Hel and Shun. All so different!
"Do you think we should split up again?" This was directed at Lou as he was suppose to be leading this self journey, Lou what are you doing...
