Luck was finally on Rens side. After journeying deep into the Kalos Friend Safari, he came upon a truly majestic Pokemon he's Never seen before, but it had a beautiful mane of fire and the lithe body of a large feline with tan and black fur. He used his S.N.A.G. to identify it.
"Pyroar, the evolved form of Litleo. With fiery breath of more than 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit, they viciously threaten any challenger. The females protect the pride’s cubs." His S.N.A.G. told him.
"Fire and Normal type. This is it. Linoone, I choose you." Ren called out his Linoone and the beautiful cat Pokemon turned to regard them.
"Linoone, use dig to move in close and get the drop on it." Ren Ordered.
"Ooone, Linooooone" Linnoone started digging and disappeared underground, which made the Pyroar appear to become suspicious.
Pyroar wasn't waiting around for Linoone to surface, electing to use flamethrower, targeting Ren. Ren was prepared, however, and nimbly dove out of the way of the flamethrower. Pyroar seemed to be on the verge of attacking when Linoone surfaced underneath him and surfaced with a super-effective hit.
Pyroar flipped a few times, and landed on it's back in a nearby stream. "ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!" Pyroar rolled back to it's feet.
Ren surveyed the area quickly and spotted a waterfall upstream "Linoone, use Rock Smash and knock it into that waterfall" Ren ordered Linoone started charging at the Pyroar head on, and Pyroar started to use Flame Charge too.
Linoone's Rock Smash and Pyroar's flame charge clashed, and both Pokemon took Damage, but Pyroar took more, and was knocked back and ended up directly underneath the waterfall.
"Lets end this with surf" Ren ordered
"Noooone!" Linoone manipulated the water and it rose up around him, then traveled up stream and started pummeling the Pyroar, giving it a nice bath.
As soon as the attack concluded, Ren threw a Pokeball and it went struck Pyroar, drawing it inside. The Pokeball started wiggling and he waited to see if the capture would succeed.

Lynnette could certainly not ignore the Noibat that swooped down at her head as she walked past a tree, causing the girl to shriek. Rea leaped out of her arms and grabbed a hold of the Noibat's feet, causing the young Sound Wave Pokemon to panic and start flying rather erratically. Rea, unable to keep holding onto the little bat's feet, would use Teleport to get herself onto its back. The Noibat would divebomb the ground in an attempt to rid itself of the little Psychic/Fairy pest. Finally, Rea would drop to the ground, waiting for her trainer's orders. "Hit it with a Confusion, Rea!" Lynnette called out. Rea nodded once before readying her psychic attack, letting it loose in the Noibat's direction. Seeing that it had been challenged, the Noibat seemed to smirk. The feelings of the Confusion attack had just started to set in when the Noibat shook it off, divebombing the Ralts that was attacking it. It opened its mouth slightly, its teeth seeming to gleam with the Dark energy of its incoming Bite attack. Seeing what the opposing Pokemon was about to do, Lynnette decided to make a call. "Rea! Double Team!" It wasn't an attack the young Ralts used often, as it was unnecessary in Lynnette's acts, but, she did what she could. Multiple Ralts seemed to appear, causing the Noibat to be confused momentarily. However, the Noibat was smart, quickly letting out a quick bit of sound waves from its ears, it would determine which Ralts was the real one based on which of the waves came back.
There. The Noibat smirked again, diving for the real Rea, grabbing a hold of her shoulder with its teeth. The Ralts let out a shriek as the Noibat's teeth broke her skin. She flailed around, trying to get the bat off of her. It held tightly, its jaws attempting to crush her shoulder. Lynnette could see the tears forming in her Ralts's eyes, and she realized that she wasn't really sure what to do. She hadn't been in many battles, really, so, she was starting to question why she even joined this stupid thing. All she had done previously was run away from the Pokemon she had run into. Not this time though. She gritted her teeth for a moment, trying to figure out what to do. And then it hit her. "Rea, Magical Leaf! Try and hit its ears!" Lynnette shouted. Luckily for her and Rea, the Noibat wasn't paying attention to Lynnette's words. Rea mustered up as much strength as she could to use her psychic abilities to lift some nearby leaves. Normally, she would use this attack to drift flower petals around a room as Lynnette played her piano, but, not this time! The leaves zoomed toward the Noibat, slicing at its ears. The Noibat squeaked in pain, and released Rea from its jaws. Despite being released though, Rea was still in pain, and there was some blood trickling from the teeth marks on her shoulder. But, she wouldn't give up.
The Noibat had landed, grabbing a hold of its wounded ears. Lynnette saw this as her chance. Tossing a Safari Ball at the now grounded Noibat.

Although it was wounded, the Noibat was still smart enough to pay attention to what the girl was doing. It quickly dodged the incoming Safari Ball and made another dive at Rea. "Hit it with Psychic, Rea!" Lynnette called out, hoping the stronger Psychic attack would help them. Rea raised one hand and pointed at the Noibat, it was ensnared in the attack, unable to move as Rea held it in place. Lynnette threw the second Safari Ball, hoping her luck would be better this time around.

Kasumi traveled fairly far into the Kalos Friend Safari, but finally stumbled upon a Blitzle, which was cute and all, but it didn't appear to have much chances as a prize winner. She elected to leave it be and to search elsewhere for a less common Pokemon.

This time, the Safari Ball bounced off the Noibat's head, replacing the purple glow of the Psychic attack, with the red glow from the ball trying to capture it. Rea would still hold the ball in midair, allowing it to shake rapidly until it eventually stopped and made a light 'click!' sound. Lynnette retrieved the ball, squealing a little in her excitement before she turned to Rea. She picked up the Ralts in her arms, and held her close. "Good work Rea, you deserve a bit of rest. We'll get you all fixed up in a bit," Lynnette whispered, gently kissing the Ralts on her forehead. She recalled Rea to her own Pokeball and headed back towards the entrance of the Safari.

After walking a while more, the trees grew to be more densely placed, which made it difficult to spot Pokemon, though at times she thought she heard them around her. Eventually she came to a small clearing and saw a lone Litleo there, playing. Kasumi had heard about it on Television and knew that Litleo traveled in 'Prides' often, so just because it's kin were not visible in the immediate area did not mean that they were not around of were not in a position where they could come and help. Since she only had her Persian, it was much too dangerous, so she went to find a more safe Pokemon to capture.

As soon as Kasumi reentered the tree's, she stumbled upon another Pokemon Zigzagging away from her. She didn't think she needed a Zigzagoon, though, so she let it go on it's merry way, and then she walked further into the Kalos Friend Safari.

Kasumi had travelled as far into the Kalos Friend Safari as she wished too, so she turned around to head back towards the entrance and spotted a female Nidoran which was following her. Having been spotted, the Nidoran was spooked and ran off. It was another cutie, and likely would have been easy enough to capture if she wanted too, but she already had it's evolved form, Nidorina, so she continued searching for another Pokemon.

What Amaranth didn't realize as she resumed looking, though, was that the roar she heard wasn't from any parent of the Litleo from earlier. Wandering through some brush, she ended up hearing another roar and froze, carefully poking her head out of the brush to look around. For the most part, all she saw was a mass of brown, and what looked like some weird pouch. Then, she was poked by the pouch's inhabitant, who giggled and looked up.
Then, she was treated by a low growl and stern look from above, looking up to meet her eyes with a Kangaskhan who looked none too happy to see her. Or maybe whoever did that random scream, but as far as it was concerned, she was close enough, and was poised to grant Amaranth a forceful exit for disturbing them.
Luckily, the hybrid was able to get out of the way of the weak punch Kangaskhan threw, the child in her pouch mimicking the action. Apparently, it looked up to the parent holding it... but right now, Amaranth wasn't concerned about that as she sent out her Butterfree to get ready for the fight she felt was inevitable.
"Butterfree, Stun Spore," she spoke up after letting the Pokemon out, responding in kind by flying around the Kangaskhan. He was nimble enough to evade the wild Pokemon's swats, scattering the paralyzing powder around. It was enough to mess with Kangaskhan, making her and the child's muscles tense and binding their movements a bit. At least, it subdued some of the threat until a lucky swat managed to send Butterfree reeling.
Amaranth was quick about trying to keep up with her Pokemon, keeping an eye on him and ready to catch or recall him if needed. Butterfree seemed to be fine, though, so she was fine with letting him remain in the fight. "Careful..." She finally spoke up. "Can you hit it with a Gust? Don't hurt her child too much, please."
Butterfree looked back for a moment, nodding as he flapped his wings and started sending a gust to further keep Kangaskhan back. However, this and the paralysis didn't seem to matter too much; the wild Pokemon was still able to move with frightening speed, quickly catching up to the bug and striking it in rage. By now, Amaranth's Pokemon wasn't looking too great, struggling to remain in the air. It was enough for the hybrid to ready a Pokeball in one of her hands, just so she could recall him at a moment's notice.
Though, bowing out didn't seem to be on Butterfree's agenda. He was used to biding his time, enduring what he could to pull through. He spent an awful long time doing just that as a Metapod, after all. Even now, that kind of patience and tenacity didn't change, and wanting to keep going, he looked back at Amaranth again, trying to assure her that he'd be fine.
The hybrid was silent for a moment, finally nodding and figuring to take Butterfree's word for it. "Alright... go for Bug Buzz," she commanded, stashing the ball and putting her hands to her head. What was about to come next was never a pleasant thing to her, and it's unlikely it'd be any more pleasant for Kangaskhan, especially with paralysis managing to grip her for the moment.
Butterfree's wings would start flapping faster and faster, almost to the point of being unable to be seen with their growing vibrations. A light buzzing sound could be heard, growing in intensity by the second until it reached a level that, if anyone was too close, would find it to be ear-splitting. A pained roar could be heard from Kangaskhan, as well as a cry from the child in her pouch. Her fight, however, still wasn't diminished, and it was looking that at the rate things were going, it could very well become a stalemate. Or at least, it'd be dangerous for Amaranth and her Pokemon.
Despite all of this, though, the hybrid felt bad for what she had done to Kangaskhan so far. She knew that chances are the Pokemon wasn't going to be too happy with her for a while, but at the same time, she could at least help and apologize later. She quickly had Butterfree back off as she took out one of the Safari Balls she was given, tossing it at Kangaskhan in hopes of capturing her.

On Kasumi's journey back towards the Kalos Friend Safari's entrance she spotted a cave she hadn't noticed as she was passing by it earlier, and inside she spotted a Woobat, which was too common, and certainly lacking in the looks department, so so traveled past the cave quietly, without disturbing it, and she continued her search.

Aile paused to catch her breath after running from the Cacnea, who though it would be fun to throw some of its needles at her. She hadn't stopped for too long when she heard a low growling coming from behind her. She slowly turned around to see a large brown and tan predatory cat with a large mane of red and orange behind her. "Well then. Pyroar." She had a blank face on as she threw out her Pokéball. "Tatooine, let's go!" With a bright flash, a Flygon appeared, hovering in the air with her wings.
"GOOOOON! Fly." The Flygon roared to be intimidating, but then tilted her head. Something just unnerved her about Pyroar and and kept her on edge.
"Okay, Tati, let's start this off with a Dragonbreath!"
"Gon!" The Flygon flew up just a smidgeon closer to the Pyroar and took a deep breath, letting out a stream of purplish flames in the Pyroar's face. The Pyroar backstepped a couple steps and snarled, retaliating with a leap at Tati and crunching down on the Flygon's arm.
"Flygoooooon!" Tati began trying to shake off the Pyroar, yanking her arm out while hitting him with a Dragon Claw attack. "Gon!"
"Tati, you okay? Nice shake off!" The Flygon turned to smile at Aile when the Pyroar let out a majestic and noble roar, causing the Flygon to look slightly hesitant. "Don't worry about it, Tati. Now, try to get a Quick Attack off and we'll see about catching him!" Tati nodded and took off in a blur, running head first into the lion. Pyroar retaliated by yowling in a high frequency right next to Tati, who cringed backed up a bit, holding her head.
"Merde..." She grabbed one of the Safari Balls and threw it at the Pyroar. "Come on, stay in here now!"
