Fluffesu Only if it could only be used on bonded Drakeins, it wouldn't have anything to do with Oblivionite's being soulless, because they wouldn't be the ones being brought back to life. Just the Drakein. And I did like the way Tasi included the Oblivs. ^w^ But yeah... People would definitely be curious and want to try it for themselves. I guess if it always failed, they'd give up eventually, though! I just dunno... I guess I should've thought a bit more about it. Maybe if I'd added a few more limitations or something... *sighs* That depends on how the actual item is worked out. Like with Tasi's idea of the soul being split (which I like...just not fair).

I will comment on this when it gets less flamey.
But my tldr will be: It seems great, and I would like to see every race included in this. I know Fluff wanted all races included in it, so that is what I am keeping in mind when I fill out her questions.
<3
Can someone tell me what this "bonded" is in the mean time? I am lazy and Gaia friends want my attention..... but mostly too lazy to hunt for it. ^^""""
[EDIT:] NVM APPLE NEEDS TO PAY MORE ATTENTION TO WHAT PEOPLE SAY.

It's the Magescians that own Drakeins. They're "bonded" together so we call them Bonded C: /brick'd

Unfortunately, if the two-legger dies, then so does the Drakein, but it isn't reciprocated.

Ok so Resurrection crystals * insert better names here*
Please note this is a loose idea and done mostly in point form
* Eowyn is a god damn ******** of magical energies including the types needed to pull something like this off( conjuration, pure astral, pure blood and some other stuff ) due to the battlegrounds being located there. Eowyn is also a place where the blood of all the races mixes and the dust an obliv becomes when they die works it's way into the ground ( that which isn't gathered up and buried somewhere.
*magical residue + the magic in fresh fallen blood from various types of spells mingles with the remains of the dead and works it's way deep underground. Occasionally over time the ground hardens around much of this and forms small shards of uniquely magical crystal * someone with better geogology knowledge can describe this*
From time to time pieces of crystal will work their way into the groundwater and flow out to the sea. ( they won't just wash up on shore for people to find easily, i'll work this part out later)
These magical shards when in the presence of imminent death will essentially consume the entire dying being. ( think dragon death, they sort of disintegrate into light and get sucked into the gem) it's like idk a form of magnetism because them gem itself was formed from so much death.
* insert individual ( pre-approved by staff) quest to get the being locked inside the crystal back.. when requirements are met the crystal shatters, the being reforms and the shards of crystal turn into pure magic and heal them to full before disappearing.
(* being who was dying is just sort of timelocked during all this but not conscious )
Idk something like that. It'd still need to be a rare as ******** item and it'd probably break or strain the hell out of bonds but it should be workable for everyone.
Idk I tried guys okay sad

This changes everything then. *thinks more about it*

Aww ty guys. I know it needs some polishing but if the majority ends up liking the idea and Brolis approves it could certainly be an interesting addition to the world without being horribly disruptive despite it's power.

As someone who's had a mysterious secret plot in the works for a little over a year now, I must say this gets my juices all churny and bubbly. o.o
Very interesting.
That's all I've got.
