Katie giggled before saying, "You seem happy about the thought of someone like that running around. And if he is, I wonder if he needs to chill down?" Katie smiled as she sat on the bleacher waiting to be picked for a team. "How good are you at dodgeball?" She asked trying to think up a song that it good for this. "And can you think of any songs that could be theme music when one is playing one." She asked

"Why wouldn't I be? If everyone were pyros, then there would be a lot less bigots, assholes, and idiots in general running around because someone would've made them extra-crispy," was Icarus's WAY-too-cheerful reply as he sat next to her. "And sorry, but I can't really think of anything... most of the songs I know are fire-based - you know, 'Through the Fire and Flames', 'Smoke on the Water', 'Walk Through the Fire', 'We Didn't Start the Fire', 'Burnin' for You'... that sort of thing. You'd be surprised how many fire songs there are out there."

"'This girl is on fire'?" Katie teased him. Sadly, she couldn't use any of those. So she figured 'Eye of the Tiger' would be a good song as any.. She just hoped like any other time she did this that no one noticed her good game.

"That too," Icarus agreed cheerfully. Eventually, the picking was finished, he and Katie ending up on different teams.

Katie smirked right at Icarus just as the song started in her mind. Her body got a jumpstart. When the game started, she was in motion and had two balls. And took out a guy and another girl while moving in between flying balls.

Icarus grinned right back before starting to almost casually toss dodgeballs right back at the other team, easily hitting his targets one by one and dodging any other balls that came his way.

Soon it was down to the two of them, Katie panted. She wiped sweat off her brow before picking up a ball close by. She didn't take her eyes off Icarus. "You are going down." She said plainly before throwing the ball at him.

Icarus's answer was to give Katie a cheeky grin and somehow (*cough*minoruseofflightpower*cough*) jump over the ball, letting it sail harmlessly past. He then grabbed four different dodgeballs and began dribbling them, that cheeky smirk still on his face as he did so, dribbling them faster and faster until he suddenly chucked all three at the girl, two of them somehow swerving to get at her from the left and right, the third getting lobbed into the air and rebounding off the ceiling before shooting at Katie, and the last one rocketing toward her from straight in front at high speed.

Katie didn't even think before using sound to vibrate her body away from the balls that were going too fast and would hurt. She took the one coming at her straight ahead. Grunting, she smiled at him right as the bell rang. "Well I'm hungry. Time for lunch." She said quickly hoping he didn't notice how her body moved inhumanly. No one else notices but he was new. The girls hit the showers before getting dressed and going to the cafeteria. Katie waited by the gym's exit for Icarus.

Unfortunately for her, Icarus had the eyes of a hawk (or some other bird of prey, he never really bothered to compare) and saw every last bit of it. Still, he played dumb for the moment, making a mental note to corner her after school as he went over to her. "All right, lunch! Do they have bacon?" he asked hopefully.

((I am listening to the voice of the forest song. It started to play when i was posting for that ranger rp. I say perfect timing)) "You are in lucky. Today it a meat lovers pizza with extra bacon." Katie said with desperate hope that he didn't notice. He didn't seem like it so for now she relaxed. She lead him to the cafeteria. She got a tray and looked to him. "Our school has multiple options for meals. Everyday they have three choices a chicken or beef, fish or Vegetarian option. But they have a special pizza everyday. Today it's fried chicken, baked scrod and a salad. They then have a side buffet. You can only have two sides though." Katie explained as she took the meat lovers pizza with a cup of mandarin oranges and fries as her sides and a water for her drink. She gave the lunch lady her lunch ticket before waiting for Icarus so that they could get a table.

"Sounds tasty." Icarus grinned before taking a meat lover's pizza, with chicken nuggets and beef teriyaki for his side items. He similarly handed over his lunch ticket before following Katie, stomach rumbling a little.

Katie sat down, "So the next classes are art, home ec and science for me. How about you?" She asked picking up her pizza. Katie folded it in half before taking a bite.

"Art, mythology, and science. I'd have taken home ec myself, but my parents don't trust me near a stove for some reason," Icarus answered, almost casually taking the entire massive slice he'd gotten before starting to scarf it down hungrily.

"Is it bad that I don't think you should be near a stove too?" Katie said honestly. She finished her pizza and starting drinking her water. Then she moved on to her fries and mandarin oranges.
