"Mmm. You had told me how your first relationship was, so I wasn't going to say anything." Des just flopped back onto the couch. "You weren't the only one that didn't want to ruin things. Not to mention, I am not a girl. Soooo..." He trailed off with a shrug, sitting up when Gabriel came back. "Says the one with the book. Anatomy study. You can open it."

"I didn't really...think of myself as interested in guys until you happened," Gabriel admitted, sitting back down by Des's head. He opened the book and began to flip through, and then blushed. "Are these all...me?"

Des just hummed. "I already explained myself on that one. You just don't realize it." Plucking the book from Gabriel, Des shifted until he got comfortable. "They started out as random anatomy studies. They ended as you. And forewarning. Your missing a shirt in a few of these. Again, I didn't plan for it. Are you familiar with muses Angel?"

Gabriel blinked slowly. "That's.... Wow." And then he blushed even darker, dropping his face on Des's shoulder. "Muses? Uh, in the Greek myth sense, yeah," he replied. He was familiar with a lot of things via mythology.

"To be fair. The shirtless ones didn't happen till after the shade thing." The purplette just chuckled, running his fingers through Gabriel's hair. "They were involved in a lot of things. From things like science and music to others such art and inspiration. They were heavenly beings that guided anyone in that... field, for a lack of a better term. So very much like angels in that they helped people. Inspired them."

Gabriel lifted his head up. "I guess those are my fault, then," he said, and he suddenly felt rather guilty for his behavior that night. If he thought he had been confused and upset, he cold only imagine what he'd done to Des.
"Oh," his voice was qoute, but he was smiling. "I think that's the sweetest thing anyone's ever said to me, starshine."

"Yeeeeah. I uh...I was caught way way off guard when you took your shirt off. And that doesn't... happen a lot. So points to you. I'm not complaining though.." He tilted his head back, resting it on Gabriel's shoulder as his hand just moved further back to play with the hair at Gabe's neck. "You are my muse. My angel."

Gabriel laughed softly. "I didn't even think about it - I've been doing some martial arts training for the past year or so," close enough to the truth, sure, "private instruction kinda deal. I forget that it's made a difference. I used to be squishy." His smile became a little dopey and definitely very affectionate. "Yep. Sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me."

"I noticed." He laughed, feeling a bit sheepish for the way he handled his shirt. "I don't know. I think you're still kinda squishy." Which worked. "Dunno about you, but hard pillow's suck. Not comfortable at all."

"Squishy enough to sleep on, I hope," Gabriel said, going back to gently stroking Des's hair. "As long as I can be a decent pillow for you."

Desmond just made a content noise, closing your eyes. "That means if I do fall asleep. You're stuck here. So I'd suggest going and grabbing a blanket or a pillow from the bedroom so you're comfy.

"I'll go grab a blanket, at least," Gabriel said. He slid out from next to Des. "Er, where is the bedroom?"

"Up the stairs." He said flopping back on the couch and pointing. "On the left. You can't miss me, trust me."

Gabriel nodded, leaning over and kissing Des's forehead briefly. He walked up the stairs and grabbed a pillow and a blanket rather quickly, then walked back down. "Sit up, so I can sit down?"

It took a few moments before Des responded with a groggy groan. "I'm up.. I'm up." He mumbled, sitting up. He blinked a few times, rubbing at his eyes before he reached over and threw the pillow in the corner of the couch and flopped over. "******** sitting down. If I'm sleeping so are you."
