Leo imagined the details in his mind's eye, smiling at how it looked. "It sounds nice." he said softly, extending his hand out to find the podium at which the woman who greeted them stood. Once he found it he put both hands on the edge of it. "Excuse me...could we maybe be seated at a booth if possible? Makes it easier to get in and out of the seats." Plus he also liked the soft cushions underneath him, it felt like he was sitting on a couch.

Leo smiled at the man. "Thank you." he said softly, moving his hands around the table to find the seat opposite of his brother before sitting down. Once he sat down he placed his hands on the table top and found the rolled up silverware in a napkin. "Is it just me or did that lady seem a bit irritated to be working today?" he whispered softly but he wasn't at all offended by it, in fact he was smiling a little at the comment while he unrolled his utensils and placed them at his left side.

Leo listened to the menu options but was confused at the lack of breakfast items. "Really? No breakfast stuff at all?" he asked, snatching the menu from his brother so he could read it himself before he was reminded again that he couldn't see the words on the menu. Leo's shoulders slumped and he hung his head a bit, it was because of moments like these, moments when his body acted without consulting his brain first, that made him even more depressed at his lack of sight. "Sorry..." he said softly as he handed the menu back. "Are you sure they don't have any breakfast food? Maybe you're not looking hard enough, I mean why would they be open so early if they sell mostly lunch and dinner food?"

Leo heard the paper fall out and continued to listen. "What kind of skillets do they have?" he asked softly, thinking something with potatoes and sausage sounded pretty good for his first meal of the day. As he waited for his brothers response he couldn't help but hear a small family move past them and sit right behind him. Leo wouldn't have thought much of it if their little girl wasn't sitting right behind him and whispering about how he looked funny with a bandage around his head. Leo blushed a little and adjusted the bandage a bit, feeling self conscious again. The mom tried to shush the little girl but she just continued, asking if he was okay or if he could see through the bandage.

Leo raised his hand in front of him to tell his brother to hold off his comments. "It's okay." he said softly, carefully turning to his side so his voice could be heard by the little girl a little better. "Don't worry, I'm okay. I wear this bandage because I can't see, and some people think my eyes look scarey. But I promise, I'm not hurt." he reassured the little girl, giving her a soft smile. His little comment seemed enough to quiet the little girl who quickly shied away and went back to her seat where she was lightly scolded by her mother. "I don't mind the little kids, they're just curious and don't understand.....It's the adults that make me mad. They make fun of what they don't understand instead of ask questions." he said to his brother before turning back toward the table. "Why don't you surprise me for breakfast? As long as a couple pieces of buttered toast come with it." he said as he hung his head a little. He was telling the truth when he said he didn't mind kids asking him what happened to his eyes, but Leo always felt like the kid who came to school with a broken arm. Everybody asked or made fun of him daily. Leo hated feeling the only freak in the room.

Leo knew his brother meant well but he had to learn how to do certain things on his own which is why he sometimes liked being on his own at home while Ash was at work. Leo jumped a little at the sudden loud voice near the two of them, what made it worse was the man was crouched down to be even more audible but with Leo's sensitive ears it startled him a little. "Milk please, white milk." he said softly, listening to the man walk away and sat in his seat quietly. "Do you think mom and dad would have enjoyed the fair?" he asked softly, trying to make conversation about anything so his brother would know he wasn't mad at him.

Leo gave a soft sigh and looked to the right of the table where the window was conveniently located. "Sorry....I just didn't know what else to talk about." he said as he continued to listen to the sounds of the restaurant and smell the delicious food. The two of them sat in silence for a while, he hated it when it got so quiet because it felt lonely. When nobody spoke Leo thought he may as well be alone. "Well....say something." he said as he continued to look out the window.

Leo gave a gentle nod. "I think so too." he said with a smile. Leo went back to being silent and then sniffed the air, the food smell was getting stronger and stronger, causing his stomach to growl. "You smell that? I think our food might be ready." he said as he straightened himself out again and reminded himself where his fork was. "Maybe while we're at the fair we can get some snacks too. Did you know they have something called elephant ears now? I wonder if they're real ears." he said, sounding rather serious since he had never had elephant ears before.
