Li-Fan said, unexpectedly coming to Rei Ito's defense, though his tone was the disapproving one parents used with children He for one thought the idea to be a good one and one worth checking out. "If you were to slow down a minute and think about it he makes a very valid point. You said you were making a scene, right? So this mask wielding man should of clearly been able to see and hear you, the fact that he ran into you at all is what makes so sense, that and that he gave you something considered expensive just because he bumped into you. That all seems suspicious to me. It couldn't hurt to check the guy out a little. Li-Fan wasn't usually the type to butt into someone else's argument, but he didn't like the idea of someone being bashed just because they stated an idea. Li-Fan feel silent after that, listening to what the Hive had to say, as he rarely chose to spoke. He also listen to what Master Benton had to say, chuckling quietly to himself when the old cat took a tumble. Cursed luck indeed.
Li-fan shifted to the back of the room as talk turn to what their next step should be. He sat down on the floor and opened his messenger bag, he had come to Home Base straight from his last class of the day. Carefully he took out a black bundle and unwrapped it to reveal his gauntlet, a device he had made and invented himself a few years ago. Originally he used it to help control his powers since it was able to pull energy from him and store it, but as his late night work often involved fighting he quickly reconstructed it to work as a sort of weapon as well. Taking out his tool kit he started working on the gauntlet, fixing the area that his communicator was attached to. He had a second one that was an app on his smart phone, but he only used that one when he was at school since he didn't normal carry around his Lei Kung gear. He kept track of the conversation but as always he kept most of his thoughts to himself. The demi-god wasn't sure how much help he would be in a team. Sure he could create force fields that would shield his allies, but at the same time his attacks could just as likely harm the very people he was suppose to be helping. Up close or at a distance, either method of fighting was just fine with him, he just didn't want any of his allies hurt in the process. "Transportation is an issue for some of us, Miss Hatsumi is correct on that issue. Қɑɠҽ ◤The Shadow Walker◥ I lurk. ==============☠ ============== All around. Rei Ito Rei was a bit surprised that someone backed his idea. Li-Fan, who rarely interven's with other's arguments decided to defend him. He was a bit content, knowing that his hypothesis made sense to another. The way Li-Fan voiced his thoughts, better than what he could ever have said, made it sound convincing that something indeed was fishy. However, they lack the necessary information and will just need to remain on the look out. Just then, T'kkhe'kk grabbed everyone's attention and attempted to speak. He paused momentarily, trying to figure what The Hive was saying. Something about having a Hive mind and that his kind are organisms consisting of many organisms, a super organism. T'kkhe'kk did have a point though. Having someone who was a good strategist on field will be much of help. Especially if they were stuck. They could always call upon the leader but can they keep on relaying on him? He was pretty busy himself with finding what the villains are up to. They would just need to get stronger as a team as their leader mentioned. This is where they need to plan. It meant that everyone needs to fully understand what each other's strengths and weaknesses. They couldn't possibly just take off, aimlessly searching. It was like putting a blind man in a jungle. Rei now realized, after great consideration, that before they even have a means of transportation; they must have a strategy. "I have a motorcycle but...first...We need to figure out each other," he simply stated.

Alice looked around."I can control time too a point so far and I have just become able too slow time down but keep me and the people I want too be able too move at normal time.we could cheatch him that way., we would have a limit too how fast we could get there but at least we may be able too get there before he moves ." she said, trying too sugest a way they could get too his hideout before he moves."and at worst we could at least find out how he moves camp so fast and what he is."

 gaia_angelleft "Quinn" Heidi Arabella - Shapeshifter gaia_angelright Quinn had been startled by The Hive. And as his feelings of shame hit her, she felt bad about her outburst. However, she didnt have time to apologize as the really really fast girl came in and presented an interesting mask. Soon after, Benten Yoshi came in explaining what The Hive was.
Quinn's face reddened as he mildly scolded her that she should come more often. She nodded her head fervently at that and then mimicked The Hive's greeting as a way to make up for her rude outburst.
Quinn listened intently as Benten explained a new assignment for all of them and she listened quietly as everyone spout out theories back and forth. She nodded at the idea that the clown could be a clone, after all, she would have no problem turning into this clown just by looking at the picture.
Quinn listened as Alice introduced her abilities to the group as well as her suggestion of finding the Clown. Quinn cleared her throat before saying, "That's so cool. It could work too, how long can you have control over time? Can you do it to a whole city?"
Then Quinn decided to introduce herself. "I'm Quinn and I'm a shifter. if I could get a scent on him I could track him down," she informed.((OOC: I forgot how fast rp's can go. I skimmed the last couple of pages so hopefully I got this right))

The Red Blur
Roxane Chase Roxy stared back at Rei as he glared at her, atleast what she thought was him glaring at her, not seeming to flinch or shy away from the dreary, emo looking kid. He didn't actually say anything further, which Roxanne considered to be a smart move, because she was never one to back out of an argument, and just like with her legs, once she started running her mouth it became hard to stop. She glanced up at Hatsumi when she began warning her about the mask, though Roxy didn't seem at all deterred by the vague, ominous warning. "says the one who considers gumballs to be a shocking discovery" Roxy murmured.
When Li-Fan suddenly jumped in, coming to Rei's defense, Roxy rose a brow before letting out a sigh and shrugging. "alright alright fine, if I happen to see the guy again I'll point him out to you so you can jump him or whatever you need to do to be satisfied, personally I'd rather focus on the evil clown rounding up criminals, but that's just me" she retorted aloofly. She quieted down a bit when Hive suddenly stood up and started clicking and banging to get everyone's attention. Not being particularly sensitive to his pheremones, nor being able to understand a damn word he said, Roxy simply waited for someone else to hopefully translate what the hell he was trying to say. "well anyways...Benten already told us where to start, and travelings not really an issue for me, though I guess you guys will have to pool some money for a taxi or somethin" she said, their mentor already telling them they should start by investigating the criminals being recruited, and had already sent them the locations of them. As for transportation that obviously wasn't an issue for Roxy, considering she could easily out pace a freight train on foot. "and yeah, probably figured it out already, but speed's my thing, I pride myself on my punctuality, so we don't have to worry about loosing anyone's trail, since I can just scout ahead if you guys can't keep up" she told them, hopping up from the couch and dusting off her pants. She then began rapidly jogging in place, building up energy in her legs "speaking of which I think I'll do just that. You guys can waste time talking more if you want, I'm gonna go ahead and check out those meeting places Benten told us about, if I see anything I'll let ya'll know" she said as she jogged in place, sliding on her communicator headset. Without another moments delay she was gone in a flash, literally as he departure was masked by a quick red flash of light, showing off her flash point ability.

Benten sighed as he watched the way Roxy talked to the others before rashly rushing off on her own. "it seems some of you will definitely take more time to adapt to the team aspect than others." he said shaking his head. Right now Roxy was too stand offish to connect to her teammates, and too impatient to try to work out a plan with them. She was definitely a piece of work to say the least. "anyways,it is good that you are taking the time to consider these problems now rather than let them rear their ugly heads later. Though I believe T'kkhe'kk brings up a particularly important matter. If you all are simply left to your own devices without any sort of order your team will quickly find itself plunged into chaos. That's why it's important to have a central authority figure to help guide you while out in the field. In lamens terms your group needs a leader, someone to take command of the team while I am not with you. As it is your lives being put at risk, I will allow you to decide amongst yourselves who you believe would be best fit to lead the team...though I'd personally suggest Fan-Lei for the position" he said, standing up from the ground, smiling and nodding at Fan-Lei. While some may question his judgement on the matter, most likely Fan-Lei himself one of them, Benten believed out of everyone there he was the best fit to lead the group. He was smart enough to wisely see the group through tough situations, well spoken enough to commincate orders to everyone, yet very humble and empathetic as well, as all good leaders should be. And as demonstrated by his little moment with Roxy, deep down he wasn't afraid to make a stand and put his foot down when necessary, which was also needed to be a good leader. Plus the unstable nature of his powers meant he was already constantly looking out for the other member's safety, so he already had the right mentality in place for such a position. "though ofcourse, it still comes down to you to vote who you believe would be best suited to lead you, so I leave you to make that decision yourselves" Benten added, not forcing them to accept his opinion on the matter, heck he didn't even elaborate on WHY he thought Fan-Lei was best suited to be leader, he figured if they couldn't see him being leader themselves, then he did not have their confidence, and regardless of a leader's merits and skill, if they did not have the full trust and confidence of their people, than all of the rest was meaningless.

She slowly shook his head, for although he was also use to being alone most of the time, he knew the importance of working together. He learned its value while helping the scientist in lab. Rei wasn't a rash person and usually considers the consequences of certain actions. He listened to those who stated their abilities and how they suggested what roles they can partake in. It was interesting to see how veyr different everyone's abilities were but then again; that difference would be a great asset. Most knew he had something to do with shadows. So he decided to elaborate more on his ability, "Easily surpass security..can scout areas through shadows...Create and control shadows is what I do which allows me to control movements of opponents. I can transport from one shadow to the next by entering the shadow realms. Also create shadow balls that help for an offensive attack. Lastly, if needed, I would be able to generate a shadow that could take over the room..but it takes a load." The part about him being able to control an entire room is a difficult task and takes a huge toll on his body. "Oh..." He added and nonchalantly pointed to his eyes, "Enhanced to see in the dark and could spot shadows of objects from afar..I'm good with close combat..." His skills in combat were developed during the years of elementary through high school from his delinquent past. He never stopped fighting, even when he was expelled from school. He continued to sharpen his skills in his spare times. He then took out one of his pistols, "Similar to Alice's ability..this contains a chemical which stops the movement of an opponent for 60 seconds." And with that he ended his explanation of his abilities. He made sure that everyone understood what he was able to do for he knew it would be an advantage to them. This was a first he had spoken this much since he first joined the group. Benten then stated his opinions on the best suited position for a leader. Rei was already adapted into taking orders; thanks to his job at the lab. Rei also knew he would not be the best option because of his horrible communication skills. Rei nodded in agreement when the leader mentioned Li-Fan should take the position. He saw the potential in Li-Fan when he spoke out against Roxy and supported his theory. Rei's mind wondered off to where Roxy went. Once he understood everyone's ability, he wasted no time and decided someone should be sent to where Roxy was for support; just in case. Her speed is unbeatable but thanks to his step-dad, his custom made motorcycle was built for speed and endurance. It has other special features and that is when he thought that the scientist could perhaps help come up with a vehicle that will support everyone. He opened his mouth, "Transportation..the scientist can help make one." He then looked around and stated, "Until then..I can hold one person on my bike." He said as he headed out the door, "I'll catch up to that impatient girl. Who wants a ride?" He glanced around wondering who would really want to ride with a creep like him.

Hatsumi was listening to everyone's suggestions and was trying to keep up. Then Roxy suddenly bolted out the door. She was indeed a speedy girl.
Hatsumi's mind was working really hard as the conversation proceeded pretty fast. She then observed T'kkhe'kk who got everyone's attention with his massive build and tried to utter words of wisdom. Hatsumi was able to somehow understand what he was saying and nodded in agreement. Then the leader mentioned something about leadership and that Li-Fan was the best option for it in his eyes. Hatsumi nodded for she would never be able to take on such an important and huge role. She not only lacks knowledge about the human world but also does not have the necessary physical strength. "Mister Li-Fan is an intelligent being. He will make of great leader."
Eri was patiently listening to what everyone had to say; he was sitting, still as a doll.
Hatsumi decided it was her turn to speak about what she was able to do. Everyone else had such great abilities and skills so she wasn't sure how her ability would come of use. "I cannot perform special moves such as the Shadow boy, and the Tik being for I am not strong. I sing my melody to the victim and they fall under their nightmare. It becomes to life." She tried hard to utter the right words so that everyone would understand her sayings. She was trying to say that she was able to bring one's nightmare to life. She didn't really understand the concept of how frightening a nightmare may be. "If not overcome and defeated by their nightmare, they become trapped in the dark for eternity." She really hoped she didn't sound too odd while explaining. But then again, everyone was already use to her awkward way of speaking. Imitating Rei's gesture when he pointed towards his patched eyes, she nonchalantly pointed to hers. She usually tries to imitate everyone's actions when possible, thinking that is the best way to learn how to adapt. With her gloved finger pointed towards her eyes, she added, "My eyes are able to let opponent lose their conscious." She had the ability of hypnosis.
She then pointed towards Eri and stated, "Although of no use. I introduce Eri for he helps connect me to the Shallow dimension." Eri was her key to the Shallow world and surviving. They can only eat one type of food; apples. However, if injured, and they lose their grayish blood, they can only recover with a special type of apple from her world.
Rei then mentioned how they wouldn't need to worry about transportation in the future for apparently, some scientist could make one for them. He was walking towards the door and asked if anyone wanted to ride with him. Hatsumi wasn't too sure about this whole 'bike' business. Besides he said only one person and her and Eri would make two people.

T’kkhe’kk was happy to notice that the young lady, who referred to herself as Quinn, had made the same gesture of greeting that he had which put my ego at ease finally. But during the rest of the torrent which was happening in the room made it difficult to follow. A brief misunderstanding between Rei, Li-Fan and Roxane. Roxane’s running off without plan or reinforcements. Benton’s agreement with himself about a leader in the field and his suggestion that Li-Fan should be that leader. T’kkhe’kk wafted a pheromone which would make the room resonate with his agreement at that suggestion. But concurrently the members of the Corps were giving a brief description of their abilities and T’kkhe’kk decided he should indulge them of his own. He waited for a lull in the talks before proceeding.
“Hive strong.” He whispered in his ethereal way while his four arms sprang forth and grasped four random pieces of furniture. A table, a chair, a monitor and stand plus a cabinet. The Hive stood up, lifting these hearty pieces of furniture over his head, easily. To allow the point to sink in, in case no one heard him, he stood in this position for a minute. Unwavering, his steely arms didn’t quiver under the weight of the metal and wood. Feeling like he’d proven his point, he then set the objects down in the same exact position that he’d lifted them from before speaking again. “Hive see Electric and scents.” He finished, his feelers dancing above his head as an indication of the means that he can see electrical pulses. His four fists then slammed his chest with a resounding crash before them slipped back into his cloak and he finished speaking. “Hive mighty fighter.” Having given a brief account of his abilities, he turned his head to watch as Rei was currently exiting after a mention that he was going to try and catch up with Roxane. The large bulk of the Homo-Optera wasn’t fit for the bicycular methods of transportation so as much as T’kkhe’kk so he would inaudibly decline the invitation from Rei with a downward swing of his hand.
The meeting seemed to be winding down now, T’kkhe’kk felt sad that there was nothing exactly accomplished in the congregation but this were the growing pains in a new group. His arms shifted within his cloak, his metasoma twitched slightly in a wave which radiated down to his stinger and created a sudden buzzing sound in the room. The bulk moved towards Hatsumi and rested against a wall near her since, at this point, there were two of the distinct few who remained within the room, especially with Rei on his way out and Alice probably going to accept his ride since the other’s hadn’t. T’kkhe’kk turned his head to Hatsumi and spoke in his frail tone.
“What do you think we should do, Hatsumi?”

He had never actually gotten to hear a full explantion of their powers, let alone see them in use, and the idea that he might be able to see them soon secretly excited him. All the same he kept his eyes on the mechanical glove he was tampering with, wanting to get the communicator on it fixed before they all decided to head out. 'Time controller, a shifter, a speedster, and a shadow person...' he thought to himself making a mental list of everyone's given ability. The shifter, speedster, and show person it was easy to understand as was the time control concept though it still raised questions. "I imagine stopping time over the whole city for twenty minutes would leave you near exhausted?" it was as much as statement as a question, "That would probably leave you vulnerable to attack as well so I wouldn't advice doing it while alone." He looked up as a red flash went off, Miss Roxanna making her departed in her usual show-offish way.
Her departure had built up quite the charge and Li-Fan sighed as felt electricity starting to crackle up his arm, harmless static charge for now though around him it could grow into something more harmful. He placed his hand in the gauntlet, watching as a circular device on the side stated glowing blue as it absorbed the energy from, storing it for when he might possible need it later. This was probably as good of a time as any to introduce his abilities since Miss Roxanne's speedy departure had caused a slight lull in the conversation. " The technical term for my abilities would be energy manipulation, as I am able to convert one form of energy into another. Typically I like to deal with electricity though." he started though he paused as he tried to find a way to best describe his abilities. "I can blast energy out my hands, if you will imagine it like a scene from one of those movies where a hero or villain has lightening coming out their hands. It is very similar to that. I'm also also able to generate force fields. If I can charge long enough I can create a concussion beam as well...On the downside it takes a lot of energy perform such a move. Using any of these for to long can be...damaging." he was going to use the word fatal was probably the better choice. It seemed being able to manipulate electricity and being immune to it were two separate things, though he had a high resistance to it. If he pushed to much energy through his body at once it would fry his circuits, leaving him an empty shell are just dead all together. Leaving that part unsaid he picked up raised his and so that everyone could see the gauntlet. "I made this a few years back to help control my powers. It also stores surplus energy as well as enhances my abilities a little...As for transportation...I'm currently working on something but it is no were near completion." He was reluctant to talk about his hoverboard to much especially since it was only in its beginning faces, more drawings on paper than an actual working vehicle.
Having said what he needed to Li-Fan leaned back against the wall so that others could make their introductions, packing up his tools as his repairs were done. It was Master Benten who spoke this time, commenting on how others would take more time to adapt then some. He supposed the wise Master was talking about Miss Roxanne though it could of been anyone of the people assemble since the majority of them had been loners beforehand. Li-Fan shook his head in agreement as Master Benten spoke of why have an authority figure was needed. Yes, all good reason. Their team would be like a snake with its head chopped off if they didn't have some form of a head to guide them. He looked around the people left in the room, going over what he knew about each, before resting his sights on T'kkhe'kk. To Li-Fan it was the best choice available. The Hive clearly knew how to get attention but more importantly he knew a lot more about team dynamics than anyone else in the room. Once given everybody's abilities he would probably know how to use that person to an advantage for the team. Since it seemed Master Benten was leaving it up to them Li-Fan was going to recommend his four armed friend. In deep thought thinking about his choice for a leader Li-Fan almost the Master's choice.
"What!?" he gasped, looking towards the Master, his blue eyes slightly widen. He had not seen that one coming at all and for a second he wondered if he had heard wrong. Master Benten simply smiled and nodded at him, confirming that Li-Fan had indeed heard right. "Master Benten, there are more qualified here than me, I am sure. The Hive, for example, has been in a team before and thus properly knows how to handle one." The lights above them flickered and Li-Fan took a deep, calming breath. "You are right, Master, it is according to what everyone else believes to be the right person." Already he could see some of the others agreeing and he felt a bit uneasy. It was an honor to have their confidence but he wasn't sure if he was worthy. He had done very little, as far as he was concerned, to earn any respect or confidence. Leadership was a huge responsibility and shouldn't be taken lightly. "Thank you, Miss Hatsumi. he said feeling more awkward. He leaned against the wall, thoughts swirling in his head, but still concentrating enough to take in what Miss Hatsumi and Mister Hive had to say. "You see Electric?" that part more than any other capturing his attention, for reasons not needed to be stated. At that point Mister Rei decided that it be best to go after Miss Roxanne. "Splitting up is probably a good idea if we are going after multiple targets, it will speed the process up, though try to be careful." At this moment he wasn't trying to be a leader just simply given out advice and his thoughts on the subject. Hatsumi gasped as her hands clapped, "The Tik being is very strong indeed!" She sounded excited with her expressionless face. "The secret to being strong, I someday wish to know." She nodded her head as she tried to lift the chair near her with difficulty.
Then came Li-Fan's turn to introduce his ability. Hatsumi tapped her chin while tilting her head, trying to imagine the scene from a movie he mentioned. Hatsumi observed the gauntlet when Li-Fan started explaining how it helps control his powers.
Almost everyone had a turn in explaining their abilities. Only two more people needed to introduce their abilities; Darren and Primrose. Hatsumi thought the bunny man had some kind of rabbit-like power. Then again, what could rabbits do besides being cute and fluffy? Hatsumi had already figured that Primrose deals with plants for she was always near them. And that is when Primrose spoke just loud enough for them to hear about her controlling plants.
Li-Fan seemed a bit surprised when he was recommended for leading them on field. It was true T'kkhe'kk would have been a great choice as well, however the language barrier makes it a bit impossible. Although The Hive seemed to be improving at a decent pace.
Hatsumi was deeply thinking in that little mind of hers when T'kkhe'kk came and rested against the wall next to her. Hatsumi was able to catch what T'kkhe'kk asked, "As Mister Li-Fan said, We must cooperate into smaller groupings for time is the essence." She said, carefully putting her words into order, "I believe it is time for us to join the Speedy Roxane and the Shadow man on the field." She said, turning to face T'kkhe'kk. She observed his build closely and tilted her head side to side, "Hmmm.. Ah.." She untied the bow that held her silvery white locks in place, and placed it on the the arm that she was able to reach. Her crimson red eyes shifted from the black bow on The Hive's arm, to his head, then his figure. "Hmmm... I believe I saw a matter such as this on the television where the non human creatures dressed in different cloth to become human." She was referring to how a disguise might help T'kkhe'kk roam around town without people staring much. Her little plan failed though as a mere bow can't hide anything.
"Perhaps there exists a device where illusion helps fool the human's sight." She scratch her cheek, trying to come up with different ways to help T'kkhe'kk roam around in broad daylight.

Қɑɠҽ ◤The Shadow Walker◥ I lurk. ==============☠ ============== All around. Rei Ito  Rei felt a bit better knowing what everyone's abilities were capable of. They all had very distinct skills and that will come in handy on field. There was a time controller who could help them buy some time for when it would be needed, a very strong Hive which will come handy when dealing with nasty fights and he could sense energy vibes which will help locate enemies. Then there was a shapeshifter who could help spy against an enemy, a plant girl that could help trap the enemies with roots growing from the ground surface, and the speedster..well lets just say she is speedy. Li-Fan who could manipulate energy which will come in hand especially when attacking at long distances. Finally, Hatsumi who can also help trap enemies either by casting their nightmares against them or by hypnotizing them under her control.
Rei's mind kept on silently working when finally someone approached him. It was the shy plant girl who tried her best to must up the courage of asking him if she can ride. Rei simply nodded and gestured her to follow him.
Rei walked over to were he parked his black, custom-made motorcycle. The scientist who invented it named it the 'Hybrid 8k' because of all the different features installed in it. Rei didn't care for all the fancy things that the scientist added, he just asked for the fastest motorcycle and got this complex weird looking vehicle. He grabbed the black helmet that laid on the seat and tossed it to Primrose, "Wear this." He simply stated and hopped onto the bike. He patiently waited for Primrose to fasten the helmet and hop onto the seat as well.

Rei observed Primrose transforming into Gaea Girl. It was interesting to witness how her transformation took place. It was also a smart thing to do before heading on. Rei didn't need any costume for when he naturally uses his shadow abilities, hi whole body glows black. The only thing that would be distinct from the dark figure would be his one blue eye. The shadow people usually have dark eyes, but because Rei has human traits, only one of his eyes is dark.
"Now you really look like a Plant." He bluntly stated as she sat down. He started the engines by locking in the key and before he drove off, he warned "Hold on tighter if you don't want to become a flying plant."
As soon as he left the parking, he speed off in the direction that Roxy might of headed. He tried to connect to Roxy through his communicator. "Hey Impatient Lady. Where are you? I'm headed your way."
